Linda wrinkled her nose as he remarked about that night she had gotten drunk... well it was last night but she was trying to think it was already far into the past and gone. "Well hopefully you got a good memory to keep you nice and warm because it isn't going to happen again." Linda retorted, though it was a sad excuse for a retort she didn't really know what else to do... But he did concede at least that they were tied, finally did she punch through that thick skull of his enough? "I don't mind another match, it will just show you I'm able to beat you again."
Yes she was uneasy about kindness, not knowing if it had a hidden meaning or agenda or to lull her into a sense of safety... or in Firo's case being a mockery or trying to pin her down again or throw her when she offered her hand earlier. But a grin cracked over her face as she couldn't stop laughing when he went back into that bizarre act. It was frightening to the point of hilarity? She didn't really know, all she knew was she wanted to run away but also wanted to stay and laugh... Strange boy making her so conflicted.
but at least she got him to stop as he got all pissy from her fighting healthy comment. "Hey your the one trying to push my buttons, your own fault I stabbed you. I could have done worse you know. And I mean able to keep up with me, I barely started sweating and I already pinned you down!! Besides why would you argue with me trying to say you are something that is a requirement to be around me hmmmm?..... And so what if I am bad at socializing, I never know if someone is going to try to kill me after being nice so why should I try." Linda snapped, but she grabbed out her wrapped up ball of bandages and tried to chuck them at him before stalking off. If they hit him where it would hurt she didn't care, it would serve him right anyways.

“As amusing as you were, the memory is terribly fuzzy in my mind. You should help refresh my memory.” He gave her a rather perverted grin. For a boy of near fifteen Turns, he was certainly bold about such things. “Don’t get too cocky there girl. You’ll regret boasting when I have you under me again.” He had to admit that watching her laugh was an interesting experience. He had begun thinking she just had no emotion other than angry, yet here she was, seeming to enjoy his company… if only because he was acting like an idiot. He crossed his arms as she started rambling again.
“You know you were enjoying it, the button pushing I mean.” He replied lazily, thinking of how compliant she had been while drunk. To be certain, whatever buttons he had pressed at that time had been all the right ones, if only because she was drunk. Of course, the last thing Firo wanted to do was flirt with a girl like this; she was all wrong. That said, she didn’t seem to be very good at dealing with flirts of any kind, and that was incentive enough for him.
“It’s got nothing to do with matching your stupid requirements. I’m just telling the truth. Besides, I could ask you the same. Why tell me your requirements if you don’t want me around? Or is it that you actually enjoy my company? I could teach you all about it you know… socializing and other things.”

Linda rolls her eyes, he was probably lying about how the memory is fuzzy just to try go get a rise out of her... or being a predictable male. Either way she didn't really care at this point in time as she put her hands on her hips. "Yeah no, i'm not about to give you fresh memories and more things to try to use against me with insults." Linda tried to have a bored sound on her voice now, maybe if she sounded bored he would leave now? She just stared at Firo though, this was same old same old already they both talked... and insulted each other over this and it was kind of getting old right now. It was good practice though for her to get better insults though possibly.
She was tired, that was it, exhausted after all of this and just wanting to go spend some alone time to sort things out and figure out how to get back to the way she was. Or maybe even find out a way to boost her not getting drunk so far in case she had to drink some later on. Now though she just stared at him, trying to cast aside all her emotions... heck maybe if her sudden and extreme change in mood swings. "No I don't, your company is exhausting and an annoyance. And frankly I could care less what people think of me, I am not about to change myself just to suit some person. I am not going to be like one of those weaklings letting people make me into something I am not. And maybe I wouldn't mind learning about social graces but I don't think from you. Even if you were to try to help me, you would probably teach me all wrong just to laugh as you watch people kick me out. Now are we done here?""
((ooc: hope this is okay XD couldn't think of anything else))

Firogel shrugged, knowing he wasn’t going to get anywhere with his joke. His intent had merely been to annoy her, to see her get all riled up. The hands on her hips told him he was, at the very least, annoying her, though she wasn’t quite acting as angry as he had hoped. Maybe she was wising up to him. What a shame, it seemed she wasn’t going to be any fun anymore. Then, of course, she tried to act all tough and angry again, and Firo couldn’t help but grin.
“I am glad to have been of service to you, my Lady,” He gave a flourishing bow, going back to overplaying his ‘gentleman’ attitude. Though he dropped it quickly enough by dropping back to the ground and trying to unwrap, then rewrap his arm. Safe to say, he was doing a rather pathetic job at it as he struggled to use his mouth and free hand to wrap it up. “You’d be surprised how useful an act can be, idiot.” He spoke, though the words were muffled slightly as he tried to tighten the bandage with his teeth.
“It’s not about becoming something you aren’t, it’s about making people think you are.” He gave up on the bandage with a scowl and looked back at her. “Course, you probably think the only way to get something is with threats and knives huh. Idiot. Do you know how easy it is to get what you want as a girl? A pretty dress, a flirty smile… wait, you probably don’t own a dress do you? Let me guess, you don’t know how to dance either do you? Is there anything you do know how to do?”

Yeah Linda was frustrated, and nearing the end of her patience right now... Mostly against herself then anything though for all that had transpired. Seriously she just wanted to have a somewhat peaceful existence, not having to deal with people all that much... Maybe impress a dragon someday, be with her fire lizards and now huntyres... But maybe if she was no longer needed here go back out into the wild around here... But no she just had to try to be nice to someone because he didn't impress and look at what its gotten her.
Linda's eye twitched as he started to go back to that... annoying sweetly sickly type talk and flourish. About to ream him a new one with an open mouth.... until he just dropped down to work on his wrap... obviously doing a poor job at it. "I don't care how useful it is, why should I when I don't care about other humans. Not like they have ever proven to me they aren't backstabbers... like those rebellion people... I don't care about their reason but killing dragons is inexcusable!"
But no he went on with the act thinking and she just rolled her eyes, she didn't care what people thought about her. "I don't care what people think of me, won't make me sad or in pain if they hate me or the way I am. And no I don't normally use threats and knives because people tend to keep their distance from me." Oh yes, here it comes... be like all those other weakling girls. "Ugh... weaklings a bunch of them... if I had to smile, dress nice... maybe show a bit of leg... I would rather die, if I can't get what I need by my own skills then fine. I am not going to use the gender I was born to make men's minds scattered... And I don't own a dress, they aren't very effective in fighting and why should I know how to dance? I know how to survive and I know animals well why should I want to do other stuff."

“Can’t say I disagree with you.” Firogel replied flatly. He had always been raised around dragons; Syphraelth was as much his family as J’degar was. The idea that riders wanted to pit their dragons against each other was disgusting. Sure, Firogel didn’t particularly like the mutants, but it was a strange sort of dislike. He personally didn’t see how they were different from regular dragons; he only didn’t like them because he knew his father would be disappointed if he impressed one.
“That said, we aren’t all backstabbers you know. My father is the most loyal man out there. ” He laughed as Linda seemed to be offended at the idea of acting like a girl. “Idiot. Being a girl is a skill in itself, one that’s obviously too hard for you to even try. Pathetic, I thought you were stronger than that.” Was he goading her? Completely! The idea of seeing the rough girl in a dress was just too humorous to give up on just yet. “Why not use what you’ve got to your advantage? You seemed more than happy to use it on me.” He gave a little smirk at the memory.
“Why? Well, for fun I suppose. You know you’ll be expected to dance if you ever somehow attract a dragon. Riders have images to uphold you know.” Of course, it only really applied to the queenriders, and Firo doubted a queen would ever pick a girl as troublesome as Linda, but he would defiantly use it as an argument. “I mean, even I can dance. Of course, I’ll be Impressing a bronze so I’ll need to know how.” His grin changed from a smirk to a cocky, lopsided grin. He was quite confident that he would Impress even higher than his father. “I suppose it’s another thing I could teach you, if you stopped being such a coward.” He was simply trying to see if he could taunt her into bending to his will. He held no actual interest in dancing with her, and even less in teaching, but it would be entertaining either way.

Linda just stopped in her tracks as she kind of stared at Firo... almost as if he had grown wings and a tail. He couldn't say he disagreed with her? he was actually serious about that? Well... yeah.... he was probably here and more affected with it.... But him actually not arguing with her at that point just took all the wind out of her sails and most of her frustration just washed away. She didn't really care if the dragon was a different color, or grew ten heads... A dragon was a dragon after all and well.... She just stared at him.
And yyes... what he said was true that not everyone were backstabbers... "Yeah I know that.... or else my big brother would be one too...." Of course she didn't comment about his father being loyal, who was his father she didn't know so she couldn't tell. But nope he was shortly back to his little quirk of trying to say she was too weak and pathetic to act like a girl? She frowned and looked at him with disgust as she couldn't tell if he was trying to goad her into it or not... Knowing her luck probably both at the same time!!!
"Of course I can do it, I just don't because I feel it would be too obvious and weak. I have enough to use against others especially you, I don't want to overkill and get rid of any challenge." Linda huffed though, if what he said was true she would need to know how to dance for a dragon... what was she supposed to do dance on the sands? "Fine if you can get me a reasonable Dress, or make one for all I care... I will SHOW you just how good I am and dancing as well!!!"

“You have a brother? He here? Don’t tell me he’s a shardin’ candidate too. Well, no matter, Father would whip him into shape either way, like he will for you.†He crossed his arms with a confident nod, as if his words were final. Of COURSE his father would whip anyone into shape, no matter who or what they were. In truth, Firo had to admit that the thought of Linda facing off against his father was entirely too amusing. Then again, did she even know who he was? Would she be surprised to discover it?
“If I recall you were very much using your girliness against me, sweetheart. I suppose it’s only fair to tell you how much of a challenge it was to take the moral road. You were practically begging me to give in.†He rolled his eyes at her and gave a cocky grin that made it clear he was trying to provoke her. He did however, stop and blink in surprise as she not only agreed to dancing, but to wearing a dress.
“You expect me to just make a dress for free? The fabric is expensive!†He shook his head at her before giving a somewhat perverted sort of grin. “Well, I suppose I can cut you a deal… but you’ll have to stop by my weyr again. You know the place, don’t you?†He gave her an offhanded wave as his eyes roamed up and down her body. Oddly enough, the perverted look had disappeared and been replaced with a look of sheer concentration. For all that he could be a dick, he truly did love his craft, and the chance to practice it AND try to annoy Linda at the same time was just too good to pass up. “Come tonight.â€

Linda just started to grin, and even started to laugh as he commented on if her brother was a candidate and his father could whip him into shape. The possibility of his father being one of the masters did go through her mind but she really didn't know which one. "Yeah right, B'man is a bronze rider I'll have you know, three other siblings are also dragonriders while the other four are wher handlers. And I doubt anyone could whip my big brother into shape, he would probably kill them with kindness the lovable oaf." Yes she just had to say somewhat of what her brother was like, because he was a bronze rider yet still acted like that it was just a jab at Firo. He seemed to like to throw rank around alot so why not see how she does it to him hmmm? "If your father is anyone like the guy who was there for the numbweed lesson... Then I doubt it."
Oh yeah, now he had to point out the entire thing of last night and try to pit it against her. But no she was now in a good mood again, especially thinking of her brother and his dragon. He wasn't able to come to the impression nor the others, nor really visit her over here at all but she didn't blame him with the possible rebellion threat. "You know, you seem rather stuck on last night aren't you. Did you really like what you saw or something? Seriously I just got drunk for the first time in my life and that is it. Apparently I am a very happy drunk though so I guess thats okay. So believe what you want I guess, because I know what is real and what isn't."
Linda just smirked back at him, matching his perverted sort of grin as he said just how expensive it was. "So what if its expensive? Your the one trying to make me go into one and everything. So if you want to see if I can pull it off then you have to help." Linda wasn't going to do it just to have a dress, this was all to wipe that silly smirk off of his face. Heck she might then turn the fabric into bandages or something afterwards anyways if it wasn't good enough to keep for anything she might need it for. So it was an entirely win win situation for her in her mind so she merely placed her hands on her hips. "Just nothing too perverted you, you say you have morals right? Time to show me then. If its good enough and I still can't show I can use my skills then fine, but if you sabotage it by trying to make me almost naked then it doesn't count. And I will be there."

Firogel couldn't even hide the look of surprise that shot across his face. It wasn't that her brother was a rider, or even a bronzerider that shocked him, though it did cement his belief that he needed to impress a bronze himself. No, it was that she had so many siblings that shocked him. Well, in a way he supposed having so many bonded siblings would make it all the sweeter when she failed. he was about to tell her such, when she brought the numbweed lesson up.
"That's a terrible example. He had to step in last minute because the candidatemaster was busy playing hooky with her weyrmate." He crossed his arms, scowling. What did she know! She couldn't judge from a single meeting! "He couldn't even punish if he wanted to. There are rules in the Weyr you know, stupid wild girl." He blushed, it wasn't that he wanted to, and he tried to hide it, but let's face it; Firogel was a young teenage boy. Of course he would like what had almost happened between them, regardless of his feelings for Linda. He simply growled, but she seemed to be on a roll. Who knew she could speak so much!
"Look you, I'm a weaver. I'll make you a dress you'll like, no ifs ands or buts. Last thing you need is something showing off that horrid body too much." He sighed, "Give me a twirl."

Linda actually felt great now, second wind and it was apparently a good one as she saw the look of surprise. He didn't know about her family now did he, better yet he didn't know if she had much time with them or not... Which truth was she never really hung out with any of them, not even her oldest brother just only sometimes. He was the one that kept in contact with everyone and told her, so inwardly she thanked faranth for that to shut up him for a second. Though of course without him even having to tell her about her not impressing because they all did she knew, she had known that for a long time now since they were little. But then he just started to get defensive, no wonder he liked trying to pick on her it was fun picking on him.
"So? Not my problem and frankly if thats how things work then yeah it won't be that effective then. Wild girls like me only listen to those who prove they are the alpha." A little smirk spread across her face when she said that, and it grew as she noticed the blush as well. Ha she was winning again, and he was losing hahahahaha!! Though if she tried to comment on it he could probably turn it against her or something. So frankly she would take this victory as she could without antagonizing him too much over it.
Linda however turned serious as she listened to him, at least he was trying to take this seriously. "I agree, nobody needs to see my heavily scarred body." And with that she gave a simple little spin, wondering if she really had to go to his place later to deal with the dress stuff or not.

"I guess it wont be long before you're listening to me then," he shot back, though his voice was almost bored. He had backed himself into a corner, and they both knew it. He was impressed she knew to take her win as it was instead of pushing it further. She had some smarts... surprising. Maybe she had what it took to survive in the social world after all.
"Oooh a few scars and you think you're something special." He rolled his eyes as she did her little spin, trying to do his craft as he looked her over. "You're in a Weyr now, idiot, its more uncommon to find a girl without scars." Sitting down he leaned back, resting against the ground and looking up at the sky, contemplating. "I suggest you wear as little as possible when you come by, unless you want to strip down for measurements." There, see? He had morals, and he could be serious when he wanted to be.

Linda just rolled her eyes and gave a little sigh, almost as if she was about to be sympathetic to him. "Sorry but I don't think you will ever be an alpha in my eyes." Linda did seem smart sometimes, well then again it was all thanks to Firo of course. She had to think and try to beat him and get ahead so he couldn't keep doing this to her. Which in turn gave her practice she needed to get better, but will she tell him its thanks to him? Oh yeah sure, as soon as thread never fell again and there was a male gold... Yeah that would be the day she would tell him.
Linda just laughed though when he commented on how she was somehow special because of the scars. Really she did know people have scars but as many as she did? Did he not remember how many scars she had all over her body even the faintest ones? Oh well she wasn't about to show him and instead started to think about what little clothing she could use that would help... Which she probably didn't have any but she could try and see. "Well I'll try my best, I'll see you later tonight unless something happens of course." With that Linda started to try to walk off, she would need to just get stuff done for the day and all of this ready to try to go... ugh... get a dress.
