One would think by now that second egg would sharding hatch? Sevrin, undeniably, was getting impatient. However, the little scrap of denial he did have was because he was impatient due to worry, not a lack of ability to wait the egg out. It's going to hatch...surely it's going to hatch. He bit his lip, one hand wrapping around Kaya's orange head and scratching the ear-knobs. "Come on shardit! Just hatch already..." Was he being too pushy? Probably, well most definitely. Did he care? Not much no, that was Sevrin for you.
The young Topaz crooned at the egg, interested only slightly because this would be someone to show her attention as well. Not that she wanted to share Hers, oh definitely not! Snorting the flit wound around his thick wrist and started to humm softly, her eyes whirling rainbows from her impression still.

All at once, multiple eggs began cracking and breaking, revealing a multitude of hatchlings in quick succession. The first one happened to be Ka’mond’s second egg. The egg wiggled and wobbled, slowly at first, and the clicking of the flit’s egg tooth on the shell was easy to hear. Finally, a large enough hole opened up in the small eggs side and a thin white head slipped out, followed be a similarly coloured body. The White looked about, almost seeming to glide over the surface as he scurried toward Ka’mond, or rather, the food the man had. He looked up at the human, making no noisy. He simply glanced between the human and the food, and sent the man, His man, a feeling of hunger. Summer Breeze White (Male) Personality: Gentle, kind, soft, sweet, warm, friendly, doesn’t make much noise
Elsewhere, it was Simiia who got to witness the hatching of another flit. The egg rocked furiously, breaking open in one quick crack and revealing one very jumbled little Blue. The young flit neither squawked in protest, nor flailed in confusion. He simply waited and, once he had figured out what was going on, flipped himself over and shook himself off. He was above being scared, after all, he was one smooth flit! Wings held out to dry, he strutted towards Simiia, chirping to let her know he had finally arrived. Mid chirp however, his wing somehow ended up beneath him! Warbling in surprise, the little blue tumbled head over heels. Cool Cat Blue Personality: Calm, cool, unshakeable, thinks he's smooth, often trips and falls over his wings.
Why was this sharding shell in the way! The egg rocked violently as the creature inside seemed to ram against the confines of its shell. An angry string of chirps and hisses escaping through the cracks before the egg finally gave way. Well, that was more like it! She, for this little flitter was most definitely a green, stood tall. She was free! Free to do whatever she liked! Her stomach rumbled and she hissed at it, as if that would stop the empty feeling. Swerving her head about, her eyes landed on Aela. Well now, there was someone worthy of serving her! Eyes whirling rainbows, the green warbled at her, as if demanding the young woman come feed her. Cracking Whip Green Personality: Bossy, demanding, independent believes her bonded is her servant
Nymari wasn’t sure when she had nodded off, her egg snug in the crook of her arm, but a sudden thwack against her arm roused her. The young woman glanced about sleepily at first before remembering the egg and looking down, chuckling at the sight. The egg was still mostly intact, but a light grey tail had slipped out and was waving about wildly as the ‘lizard fought with its own egg. A series of cheeps and chirps sounded form the shell before finally BAM! The egg shattered. Shaking off his head, the ebony glanced about, taking a moment to figure out where he was before standing and wriggling out of his shell remnants. These first few moments would be the only time she ever saw the flit so quiet. And soon, the moment had ended. Eyes whirling in excitement, the flit spread his wings and began skittering along the table. Oh, what was that? And that? Those over there?! Oh but his tummy was rumbling something awful! He snatched up a piece of his shell and began chewing on it until Nym offered up some proper food, grinning at the energy this little one was showing. Truth be told, the little grey flit reminded Nymari of one of the cats at her old home. “You remind me of Hullu…” She mumbled, earning a quick chirp of happiness and a glance of rainbow eyes before the flit tackled a different piece of food. “Hullu it is then.” Sugar Rush Ebony Personality: playful, spazztic, suddenly changing his mind common, easily distracted.

Ka'mond watched the white egg intently, getting a jealous squeal from Tia. Humph! Hers should pay attention to her! A princess!
The boy fumbled to get a meatroll for the little white. He smiled, in awe of the handsome little flit.
He's adorable, Mine! What will you call him? I think a gentle name like Whisp short for Whisper would suit him... [/color]
Abyrath strained her neck to peer at the white.
"Whisp? I like it."
The white nodded his head as he feasted on the meat.
"Whisp it is then." Ka'mond chuckled.

Hey. HEY YOU! Yes you, outside the egg, HELP! The egg shook back and forth, tiny claws chipping away piece by piece as the hatchling within tried to escape. It screeched, trying to get anyone or anything to help pull away at the shell. Eventually, a white and blue claw struck through, escaping to the outside world. It quickly disappeared as the flit pulled its claw back to widen the hole and, finally, a striking blue head poked out instead. He screeched at R’hard, demanding the man come assist him with this hatching business before settling back to wait as if it was the calmest creature in all of Pern. Hot and Cold Blue Personality: Ice cold, intelligent, shrill, demanding, sudden mood swings from calm and cool to harsh and angry.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle. The small egg was taking its sweet time hatching. There was no need to rush after all. It would have a huge crowd of people to welcome it to the world! It would break its shell to the cheers of many! A crack spread across the shell and, with a dramatic warble, the small ebony stepped forth, posing for its audience. However, it was relative silence and not the roar of a crowd that met the little creature. Wings drooping, the Ebony looked this way and that, noticing there was hardly anyone around and, with a loud cry, dropped onto the floor in self-pity. No one loved him! Oh cruel world! Oh, but Thaden was here right? He would surely applaud him! Spotlight Ebony Personality: Dreams big and falls hard most of the time, often feels disappointed in himself, can be melodramatic
If Sevrin thought a topaz flitter would be a handful, then he had another thing coming! The man’s second egg shook and shuddered in the pot, clearly annoyed that it was taking so long to hatch. Spider web cracks spread across the surface of the egg, and with a single loud wail the egg burst apart, revealing a proud and confident brown flit. The newly hatched male took no time to observe his surroundings before dashing off, following his nose to the first available source of food; which of course meant he launched himself at Sevrin, his mind immediately pressing into Sevrin’s in the act of impression. FEED ME! The flit seemed to yell in his mind. Shotgun Brown Personality: Fast, loud, and abrupt, can be demanding when he really wants something, but is usually reasonable
Finally, the time had come for the final huntyre to make its entrance to the world, and what an entrance it would make! The egg wobbled to and fro, a scared sound escaping from the egg before it exploded into hundreds of shards, leaving an odd brown hatchling in its wake. I’m here! Look at me. I’m BEAUTIFUL! the huntyre seemed to scream as it posed. She, for the young huntyre was, in fact, a Forest, warbled piteously. The egg had been so dark, so scary! But now the bright, bright world was here for her to wow with her prowess! But first she needed someone to show off to! B’den, it seemed, would be that someone! Chirping happily, the hatchling tried to wiggle towards her new human. Shine on me Forest Personality:-Flashy, loves attention -Puts on aerial displays -Afraid of the dark -Really enjoys reflective objects

R'hard watched as his egg wriggled back and forth, cracks growing along its surface. He wasn't sure if he should help it or not; Hari and Sahar hadn't required any help from him when they'd hatched, but this one was having so much trouble, it looked like...Eventually, an ice blue claw appeared from within the shell, and it wasn't long after that point before the hatchling had poked his head out of the egg.
The fire lizard screeched at R'hard, clearly willing him to help out a bit, and finally R'hard reached over to help free the blue from his egg. He was certainly a striking flit--icy blue over most of his body, but with deeper blue markings all over. He eyed R'hard's strips of meat demandingly, but once the rider began to feed him, he settled down and became remarkably calm. R'hard raised a brow. This would certainly be an...interesting fire lizard to raise. "I think your name will be Viggo."
It seemed like ages between Dione's hatching and the time when the huntyre egg began to hatch, but hatch it did. B'den and Kohenkyoth both watched as the eggshell exploded, breaking apart to reveal a greenish-brown huntyre chick. A female, and a forest. She paused, seeming to show off for a moment, until her hunger overcame her, and she wriggled her way towards B'den. Fortunately, she ignored Dione and her own piece of meat in favor of the human and his stash; the last thing B'den wanted at the moment was a fight between the hatchlings.
He grinned as he fed the forest huntyre a piece of meat and thought about what to name her. He hadn't expected to hatch two females, so it took him a while to come up with something appropriate, but finally, he had decided. "Her name's going to be Metrodora," he told Kohenkyoth, stroking the huntyre's downy feathers.
