Kayath would have rolled her eyes if she could. She truly wondered how Avirith could be so wise some moments and such an idiot the next. The topaz could harmly blame her though; she was just as fond of showing off. She rumbled in amusement as Avirith took down another beast, though she didn't join in. She wasn't extraordinarily hungry, so picking at the first one should do just fine. She swiveled her head around at the sound of a male voice, cocking her head to give him a quick glance before turning away unimpressed.
Oh do play nice Avirith. We can hardly blame him for knowing beauty when he sees it. Sure, his rider might have been an absolute idiot, and Kayath didn't much care for Coziryth, but a compliment was a compliment.
J'dol wanted to open his eyes, not to lose the game, but out of sheer curiousity. Ara had gotten awfully quiet, and the topazrider was a tad worried that she was coming up with some evil plan. Waiting was always the worst. An eyebrow shot up in curiousity as Ara finally spoke again but... there was almost something sinister to her voice. He couldn't help but gulp nervously as she moved to straddle him. Ara had never been this.. forward before... so something must be up. That 'something' ran lightly down his neck a moment later, so soft and ticklish that J'dol couldn't stop himself from gasping and opening his eyes.
"T-That's cheating," He forced out, a twitch running down his spine from the feeling. Oddly enough, J'dol had to admit that growl Ara made was actually incredibly attractive, even if the words that followed weren't good news. "Between Kayath and Avirith together I doubt he'd stand a chance." He mumbled, only half aware of the conversation; he knew Kayath would be able to protect herself from one lowsy bronze, and he had no doubt Avirith would put up a decent fight.
"A candlemark or two eh... I suppose that can be arrange... three if you think you can handle it." He winked playfully before his voice took on a more serious, though incredibly quiet note. "Just don't regret it..." He captured her lips in a kiss, his hands quickly moving to tangle in her hair.

Avirith snorted as Kayath agreed with the Bronze, flicking her wing as she dismissed the male. She didn't need his sorry excuse for a tail chasing after her any way, so leave it to the Topaz to deal with him instead. Leaving the left overs from her kill for a young dragonet who was having trouble catching her own meal, Avirith took wing and settled down on the Weyr Heights. Whatever. You may join me Kayath.....Coziryth, if you even attempt to I will personally send you back down with a lovely set of new scratches to add to that collection you already have.
The Bronze snorted, shaking his head. Females! They were so temperamental, do hard to understand. Now another male? They were easier. You just had to find the one thing that drove them. Everyone something....female motives just tended to be more complex from what he could understand, which for a King wasn't much. He was a creature of power and wills, not intellect and cunning.
Ara smiled as his eyes snapped open, her victory ringing in her blood as she heard his protests. They fell on deaf ears though as she trailed the feather across her cheek. "Now, now J'dol, you never said anything about how." The rider continued to smile as he commented on the dragons' abilities to deal with the Bronze.
Personally she was proud of Avirith for walking-err-flying, away. She wasn't sure how Kayath would take it all, but she didn't care too much anymore either. He was kissing her back, and she just melted into his arms. The next time they came up for air she sighed and leaned against his shoulder before looking up into his eyes.
"J'dol, would I be here if I thought I would regret it?" She smiled at him tentatively, her body tensing slightly as the thought raced through her mind that maybe he was looking for an excuse to stop. Before she could stop herself, the words fell from her lips. "Why? Are you worried about having regrets?" She bit her lip and looked down before nuzzling against his shoulder again, hoping she hadn't messed up.....again.
(Feel free to fade in and out or just continue their torture by creating awkwardness lol. I do have plans though for when they wake up hehe. *evil laughter*)

Ugh, just because she was being pleasant didn't mean she deserved to be left alone with him! She rumbled in amusement as Avirith openly showed her dislike for the bronze, and with a rather show-offy spreading of her wings, looked back at Coziryth. What a shame this meeting has been cut so short. Do stay out of trouble, Coziryth. She took off after Avirith, settling nearby grumpily. Of course, if Coziryth felt like talking to her, he still could, as long as he didn't approach. She would see what this male was worth, see if he was just like his rider. Really Avirith, I never thought you would be so rude. She huffed, settling next to the green to look over her home.
J'dol looked away as Ara replied, realizing she had heard him. It wasn't the question so much as the tensing of her body that worried the topazrider. Would he regret it? No, J'dol was a man who loved the art of loving. He definately wouldn't regret sleeping with his ex-teacher. It was the rest that worried him. Ara had been correct when she said he couldn't do commitment. It wasn't that he didn't like Ara enough; the fact he worried about it at all was proof enough of how he felt. But.. what if she couldn't handle him sleeping around.. sure he could try not to flirt as much... but... he knew he wouldn't be able to just stop.
"Ara..." He spoke softly, almost sweetly in her ear as he pulled her close and nuzzled into her neck. "I just don't want you to get hurt..." He began nibbling once more, his hands already attempting to slip into her shirt despite the situation. "I want you. I have for a long time." There was no doubt she could likely feel how much he wanted this. "It's getting harder and harder to hold back... I just want to make sure you're okay with this. You can stop me you know... no hard feelings if you do." He had moved on to trailing kisses along her jaw as his hands continued to wander, making it very clear that if she didn't put up any sign of protest then he wasn't going to stop.
{OOC: Figured we'd get one last round of speech before the fade out. So if you want to post then fade go ahead ^^}

Ara smirked, she actually smirked, as she heard his words. So he had said it only for her benefit? That she could handle. She knew herself well enough now to know what she could and could not handle, she hoped. He had made of clear, as had his reputation, that he wouldn't be a single person kind of guy. He'd want room, but he'd still be there forget when she needed comfort. That's all she really needed, and that was something she had decided on months back.
The fact was, Ara knew herself well enough too that mixed with Avirith's flighty desires, J'dol wouldn't be the only one to end up with others. However, she certainly wouldn't be as prone to it as he she was sure of as well. Still, it was just nice to know that she had him in whatever way she did. For now, this was enough. It there proved to be a problem later on, it would be dealt with then. Currently her biggest problem was the fact that she was way beyond discussion and more about doing.
Sighing she relaxed again and raised an eye-brow at him. "Well, I'd you want me that bad....why are we still talking?" She moved in to kiss him again, returning his touch against her skin with that of her own to him. Nothing else mattered. Not the fighting, or the rebels, or the fact that she was actually already tired and sore. She just didn't care. All she needed in that moment was right there with her, and knowing that was plenty enough for her. She told herself not to say much, to keep her more personal feelings to herself. However one thing did slip out at the end as she snuggled against his side.
"Thank you."

Now... that was music to his ears. Without a second though, he returned the kiss. What followed afterwards was by far worth the wait. How long had it been since he felt so alive, so complete, so.. exhausted? His breathing was still heavy as she snuggled into his side and he was more than happy to wrap his arms around her. Her quiet words of thank you though... caused his heart to flutter strangly in his chest, and for once J'dol felt the need to hide his flushed face. He pulled her as close as possible and snuggled into her; his silent reply.
For all that J'dol adored the act of love-making, he was equally as fond of the cuddling after wards. It was so incredibly comfortable and warm. "You know..." He finally mumbled sleepily, kissing her shoulder softly, "I'm going to have a hell of a time keeping my hands off you now..." He could feel the need to sleep over taking him and was happy to give in to the fatigue, hoping that Ara too, would finally get the rest she needed.
