She couldn't help but sigh at the sound of his laugh, she had missed it that much. Curling around so that she was facing him, Ara obliged tilting her head up to his. "I think that can definitely be arranged." Smiling coyly, she moved in, hoping to meet him half-way. Faranth knew that he wasn't he only one who wanted to finally have their kiss, and this time without her being confused and crying. Oh yes, that was definitely nice. "Usually when you're holding me I'm crying...or drunk. I kind of like this change, don't you?" She laughed, her voice growing into barely more than a whisper, her mind already starting to shut off as she continued to fight to be coherent in her thoughts.
He could do all sorts of things to me if he wanted to once I fell asleep, but he wouldn't. I trust him not to. The thought ran through her mind, the first normal thought about the whole situation to be honest, and Avirith nudged her rider mentally, happy that the girl was considering every aspect of the situation again. It wasn't like the new Ara to just go through with something without thinking about every good, and bad, outcome that could possibly come up. The rest of that analysis could come later though, she was too tired to think about it now.
"I hope you don't snore, not that it would matter any way. Avirith would surely drown you out if you did." Her laughing tease got the green to finally say something, an unhappy warble-hiss escaping the green's jaws. I. Do. Not. Snore! "Uh, yeah, you do." Ara smirked as she kept her back to the green, and eventually the hissing stopped and Avirith rolled her eyes, closing a few of the transparent lids as she rustled her wings together. Nodding as Kayath spoke, she sighed. Yes that would be a problem, however...Mine, aren't you going to tell J'dol? Avirith momentarily opened the conversation to the two riders, coaxing the girl to talk.
"Oh, yeah I completely forgot about that...plus well I didn't know how you'd even react to me in the first place. The rebels, they're heading to an island somewhere, there's a village there. We only got a brief picture, but I can't even remember it now. It was the only way Noita and the Knights could get the rest of the rebels to safety after it was clear S'vrin and Ar'rex's side was winning. Why did you want me to say that now though Avi?" Because, now you both know that you won't have to worry about food any longer. Sleep easy my love, and Kayath's, all will fall into place. Leave the issues to the dragons for now, we're smarter than we look. Even if she would probably have trouble recalling all of their conversation in a couple of days unless it was drilled into her, she was a green after all, and one that easily remembered things.
At least you're not an Amethyst though, you're not that bad. Avirith crooned in agreement, again wondering how the weyrlings that were left here were doing. Do you at least know how many of the weyrlings are still here, the ones that are in danger. That way we can at least know who to look after. Then maybe we should talk to Izanycorth about getting some riders on watch, I'm not sure if S'vrin and Ar'rex are finished gloating enough to worry about Thread or not. Mine thinks we're due for a fall again soon.

With a grin of his own, J’dol wasted no time in meeting her, relishing that fact that this time, she was kissing him because she wanted to. Not because she was confused, guilty, or drunk. This was what he had wanted, that day at the gather. The kiss was short and sweet, though only because J’dol knew if he did anything more he wouldn’t be able to stop himself. “Now I just need a kiss when you’re fully awake and my life will be complete,” he teased playfully as he settled back on the pillow. With a sigh he added, “I suppose I will just have to let you sleep now, won’t I. A promise is a promise.”
He laughed at the idea of Avirith snoring, wondering if Ara threw pillows at the green each time. “I don’t believe I snore,” He grinned, “But if I do, you can bet it will be the sexiest snore you’ve ever heard.” In truth, as far as he was aware, he didn’t snore. I should hope not, Avirith! Kayath sounded almost offended at the idea of the green making such a horrid noise. If you snore I shall have to wake you, and I don’t want to do that!
J’dol blinked curiously as Avirith’s voice reached him once more. “An island? Shards Ara, that’s the best news I’ve heard in a long time.” Turns seemed to drop from his face right then and there. The rebellion would be farther away… the tithes might not be harmed anymore, and the candidates might actually get to Trelis occasionally now. He might finally be able to get away from the sharding paperwork long enough to actually deal with other things in the Weyr. With her rider feeling calmer about the issue, Kayath too calmed slightly, though the topaz seemed to always be on edge these days.
Be careful with Izanycorth, Kayath warned, She and Hers have been stressed more than we have. If possible we must try to avoid piling more work on her.

"Sexy...snores? How does one snore...sexy?"
Ara tilted her head, blinking up at the topazrider, awakened a bit more than she had been by the thing he had said. She couldn't help it, she laughed, and she didn't stop laughing for at least a minute or two. Every time she tried to stop she just kept going. "S...so...sorry." Finally she just bit her tongue gently, the pain enough to stop the onslaught. "There, finally stopped. Faranth I haven't laughed like that in a while...it was nice." Nuzzling against his shoulder, she nodded her head. "Yes, it should make things easier. I told you they weren't doing this to make our lives harder, they were only stealing food and tithes to let the dragons and themselves eat."
"Is it very diplomatic? No, but they're desperate. I'm not sure any of them have felt safe in a long time, I know I didn't and I was staying here at them time and only occasionally seeing them. I still don't understand how S'vrin and Ar'rex found out about the attack though. If they hadn't known, we might have had a different outcome today. I wonder how that would have turned out now, shards I wonder how this is turning out. Aren't you worried about what they're doing right now, if they're talking to everyone or something?"
She bit her lip, not wanting to bother him with all this, but now too worried to get it off her mind. Her eyes were even fully open, her body starting to tense again as she woke, adrenaline quickly doing its work. The torn, even frightened look in her eyes should have been enough to convey the fact that she was only saying this because she worried. Or at least she hoped it would be enough. Hooking her arms around him tighter, Ara tried to fall asleep, she tried to close her eyes and forget about whatever was going on a few floors below them. She tried...she failed.
"Aries, go and see what's going on, will you love?" The Gold chirped, unhappy with being ordered around and yet still followed orders. Betweening, the flit quickly sent back an image of some of the Wingleaders and seconds gathered with some other, unfamiliar people as well as S'vrin and Ar'rex, Iirla was not there and neither of course was J'dol. "No, we will not concern our dear Weyrwomen A'hail. They don't need to worry about this any more right now, after all I'm sure Iirla is already terrified of what might happen to her and Izanycorth since Noita so obviously wants to ruin Trelis first before the rest of Pern. I'd keep an eye on J'dol as well, his dragon might be in contact with her sister, you did say that that was where you believe Talath and Aela to be?"
A man nodded to S'vrin as he spoke, stopping mid-movement however as he spotted the firelizard hovering nearby. "There's a flit..." Chirping, Aries betweened again, disappearing. Before she left though, she could hear one thing. "There are only so many here with Queens, we'll find the owner soon enough."
Aries popped back into the room, trilling unhappily at Hers' feelings. "They don't trust us." She had Aries send Kayath the images, though the Gold was not pleased with having to talk to someone other than her Own's dragon, which even she didn't always like. Snorting, the firelizard curled up nearby and folded a wing over her head. What do you think Kayath?

He had known, somewhere in the back of his mind, that the peaceful feeling he had now would eventually be shattered. It always was at Trelis. The images Kayath had received from the gold fire lizard had immediately been shared with her rider. The topaz’s eyes whirled in anger and her tail lashed against the floor as she hissed. J’dol’s expression too, which had been full of laughter only moments before was now dark.
“Sharding brats.” He grumbled, fighting mentally to keep Kayath where she was. She was on edge enough already and the fact she had been left out of anything had her on her ledge bugling angrily. If it were for the constant barrage of orders from her rider, there was no doubt the topaz would have been launching herself at one of those bastard’s dragon any moment. I will teach them to mess with me. I will tear them limb from limb if I have to! She screeched back at those in the room.
“Shards, she’s never been this angry.” As loathe as he was to move, he was forced to jump out of the bed to go to his dragoness’ side. “Kayath! Kayath calm down! Attacking them won’t help our cause at all!” Screeching angrily, the sub-queen launched from the ledge, knocking her rider back. She wouldn’t do anything too stupid… she just needed to release her anger… though unlike some of the other metallic she would fly off her anger, or head to the caves her mother had loved.
With clenched fists, J’dol went back to the room. “Give Aries to me.” His tone didn’t hold much room for negotiation, though his eyes were clearly worried. “Even though they seem to think they can ignore the Weyrwomen, I’m one of the few riders in the Weyr that they can’t touch. If they think Aries is mine they’ll leave you alone.”

Avirith recoiled from the suddenly chaotic Topaz, cringing at the dragoness' voice. Somehow, I don't think she'll be any better when she rises. She'll likely tear the males apart before any have the chance to actually catch her. The green knew she should stay there, in the weyrcave where it was safer for her. It was away from the other dragons and prying eyes, and more importantly it was away from the angry Sub-Queen. However, the green wasn't always the most tactful one in her class.
Wait up Miss I've-got-a-knot-in-my-tail! See you two later, I'll make sure she doesn't kill too many herdbeasts. With that the green was gone, off in the air, biting back small hisses as she realized finally that she probably shouldn't have flown so soon. Alyara was right next to J'dol the whole way, jumping out of bed with him and then walking back in after he left. Shaking her head, the girl bit her lip, hoping that her green would be alright. Stay a good distance from her Avirith, for all we know this might have triggered a mating flight or something. The dragoness simply snorted, entirely disagreeing with Hers. It wasn't Kayath's time yet.
At J'dol's suggestion, Ara bristled. She couldn't help it, she just simply tensed and took a good three steps backward toward where the Gold had curled up. The firelizard hissed at the other rider, jumping up and curling around Hers' shoulders. "I...I can't do that." Her voice was a soft whisper, but not from being gentle. She knew that he was right, but the thought of parting with the Gold, even if it was only just for a small amount of time and not for real, made her incredibly uncomfortable. "Someone would know...someone....J'dol I can't." Shaking her head, her hand went up to pet the orange tinged head that snaked around still hissing.

“Sorry…” He replied sheepishly, taking a few steps back to give the gold some distance. So maybe he was getting a little ahead of himself. Spazz landed on his shoulder, fidgeting about and earning a light rub to his eyeridge from the guilty-feeling topazrider. “I wouldn’t be able to do it either…. I just… I don’t want to see you get hurt.” Shards, and everything had been going so well too. Walking to the bed he dropped back onto it, planting his face into the pillow in frustration.
“Kayath’s mood swings are getting to me…” He mumbled, trying to will away the anger he felt at the Weyr. Ara wasn’t the only one thinking about mating flights. J’dol was very aware that Kayath’s time was coming, and he wondered how much of her temper was related to that time. It wasn’t the flight itself that worried him… it was the consequences. If Ar’rex or S’vrin were to win… Well, even though they wouldn’t be Weyrleader, they would still get a lot of power. J’dol may not have been the youngest rider around… but it was still a lot of pressure.
Kayath growled at Avirith as she noticed the green tailing her, but continued on to her destination regardless. The caves were her goal, and within moments she had arrived and landed nearby. Another low growl escaped before she sunk her claws into the nearby trees. I hate them. I hate them all!

The green dodged the bits of tree that the topaz flung off like it was just a small bit of debree on her hide. She was getting more and more tempermental it seemed, something that Avirith should have been more wary of. However, this was Avirith, not some other dragoness. Which, consequently meant that Kayath was about to get a mindful. Yes, you hate them. I hate them. We all sharding hate them! Guess what, you can't do anything about it by yourself. You'll only make things worse. Trust me, I know, all of us that fought know. Our best bet is to wait, wait until we see a way to get back at them. Not another attack, that didn't work.
We need to sabotage them, just like we did when Ar'rex was here last, he seems to be the easy target. And when they come after you in flight, take them down if you have the chance. It's easy to blame that on a Queen's anger. She let her own claws rake over a nearby branch, crushing the thing under her paw. It felt good actually. Looking at the caves, Avirith keened. I wish mother was here. The Gold however was not, and her rider was little to no help. They were on their own.
Ara still kept her distance for the first few moments after J'dol started to speak, but as soon as he hit the bed again, she relaxed. "It's my fault too. I should never have sent her. If....If you think it's for the best. Maybe if she just stays hidden? You'll have to watch her though, remember she is due to clutch in a sevenday or two. Around the graduation I'm guessing." Aries sqwuaked, unable to believe what Hers was saying. She was going to leave her with him?!? How could Hers even think of something like that? She was not staying with someone else, GreenThing was bad enough!
Ignoring the flit, Ara walked to the bed and sat on the edge, her hand tentatively stretching out in the hopes of rubbing the stressed rider's back. "Hey, it'll be okay. Something will happen, we'll think of something I'm sure. In the mean time...I may have an idea. Aries obviously refuses to leave me, but if I stay here, she'll have no choice but to stay hidden. She won't mind staying here if I'm here too...." She trailed off, looking at the Gold who gave a hesitant croon. Then she kept going, taking a breath first. This would basically go against what they had already decided, at least in some ways. "As for...other things, what if I was there? When she rises, what if I was there? That way, you can substitute me in for one of them in the chance that S'vrin, Ar'rex or one of their flunkies catches her?"
She wasn't about to say the other part, that she hoped he'd choose her no matter who caught Kayath. Still, that fluttering feeling was there, pressed close to her heart and hidden away. "Maybe...maybe you could do the same for me? If Sithorath decides to chase Avirith, apparently he has a habit of chasing Trelis greens."

You’re right. I CAN’T do anything else, despite being a sub-queen I am forced to go along with their idiot demands. I should be in control, not them! What is the point of being a queen if my subjects are mindless idiots that don’t follow orders! She attacked another tree, growling as large chunks broke off. Sure, her claws would be splintered and torn by the end, but she wasn’t hurting anyone else this way and that’s what mattered. The slight pain was helping to calm her, though her eyes still whirled red. How does the only Topaz at Trelis get away with sabotage. I’m not exactly built for sneaking about you know. She said with an annoyed huff. She gave a sad growl at the mention of their mother. She IS here you twat. Can’t you see her in the shinies? Kayath motioned to the cave walls; the only thing she had left of Loraketh.
“I can’t imagine her taking kindly to an idiotic male looking after her when her clutch is so near. Just… keep her hidden… don’t let anyone know where she is…” He sighed, “She’s always welcome to hide out here if she needs to. I don’t doubt Kayath would protect her if it came down to it. But I can’t force her to stay with me any more than I could force Kayath to let anyone else ride her.”
A content groan ripped from his throat as Ara began rubbing his tense muscles. “I don’t mind you staying here.” He replied, though he instantly regretted it the moment flights were brought up. Well shards, the one thing he couldn’t do… she was asking for a form of commitment… something he just couldn’t give her. “It’s… It’s not the flight part I’m worried about… it’s the power they could get afterwards.” He replied carefully, not wanting to offend Ara, not after they had come so far. He sat up, and took her hand in his own.
“Besides, it could be fun dominating one of them in the furs.” He joked. His eyes held a hint of seriousness though. “Though I’d hate for our first time to be the result of a flight, I would be happy to be a stand in for you though.” He wondered if assuming she would still want him to be a stand in, but… well a guy could hope right?

She couldn't keep the sting from her eyes, because well that did hurt. However, Ara blinked a few times and away it went. She was accustomed now to hiding her emotions, to just pushing them back until she could deal with them. The rider had overstepped whatever boundary she had made with him, and now she was just glad that he wasn't ordering her away from his weyr. "I see. I only offered in case you were uncomfortable with the idea of them being with you. Nothing more, it was simply the same for me...if you're so worried about it though, it's not something we have to do."
He had said that he'd stand in for her though. What was the difference? She tried to wrap her mind around just that but simply could not succeed. "I'll...think about it. And it wouldn't necessarily be the first time we were together J'dol. She's not that close to rising, and neither is Kayath I don't think. If she's anything like Talath was she'll be just like the Queens and start sleeping a ton before hand." Once again she slipped into teacher mode, something she was beginning to understand was a source of comfort for her.
However, it wasn't working well this time. Her hand stayed in his, and she swallowed letting a moment of silence pass between them. "I wouldn't...mind staying here if it's alright. Not because of the flights or anything, I just...feel safer here." She looked around the weyr, deciding that yes she did in fact feel safest among his things. "If it's too much of a commitment though or something, I'd understand. That wasn't part of the deal really." She let her hand slip away, brushing a stray lock of hair. More than anything she wished that the awkwardness would go away, but she wished that she could ease over the unease more.
If she could get him back into a place where he felt comfortable, that would be good. However, that was a pretty big if.

Well shards, his joke hadn’t worked, she seemed upset. He sighed, “Ara… I’ve... I’ve been with more people than I can count. From hold-folk to cavern workers... even a few riders under the effects of flightlust. I don’t think it’s possible for me to be uncomfortable with anyone in the furs.” He wanted to lie and say it would bother him… but to J’dol, sex was sex. It could be with someone he cared for, or with an outright enemy and it wouldn’t bother him too much. Well that was a lie. He’d never sleep with either of those idiots of his own free will… but with a flight it was merely the release of tension and emotion caused by the dragons right? Besides, maybe he could gain an upper hand… maybe something would slip out during the act and he’d be able to win this silly inter-Weyr war.”Besides, if I have things my way, their dragons wont win Kayath anyways.”
He was glad to hear that the dragoness’ mood swings weren’t necessarily heralding her coming maiden flight. Though, he knew there was still a chance that something could set her off unexpectedly. He reached out to the Topaz, receiving a calmer, though still angry emotion. She seemed to be staying out of trouble though, so with a few words of comfort he let her be, well aware that she was taking it out on some poor unsuspecting trees. “Staying here isn’t a matter of commitment you know. You’re an important person to me… I would never turn you away in a time of need. I’m just sorry my room is so boring.” He glanced about, regretting that there wasn’t much furnature or decorations there yet; he didn’t exactly have the marks to redecorate. He wondered too, how to broach the subject of sleeping... would she be comfortable spending every night in his bed? Would he be able to stop himself from doing something each night?
His smile faltered as she pulled away, though it was in that moment of silence that something she had said dawned on him. He smirked, wondering if bringing it up would help relieve the tension in the room. “Sooo…” he began slowly, keeping her in his peripheral vision as he pretended to sit innocently. “It wouldn’t necessarily be our first time huh? So my dear Ara is just playing hard to get I see.” He gave a good stretch before giving her an evil look. “I think that deserves a punishment…” Turning back to her leaned in attempted to tickle her sides. Perhaps, perhaps if he could get her to laugh, then the tension would go away.

Well, I don't see how she is here. Either way, let's head back, perhaps eating on the way will do some good as well? Hunting trees can only go so far.
The green swished her tail back and forth, licking her lips as she imagined the taste of blood running down her throat. Looking up at the sky, she felt suddenly...odd. How far do you think those males could be pushed today? Her wings flexed open before closing again, her claws sinking into the earth. She wanted to fly among the clouds, she wanted to. Not now Avirith. Her rider’s voice broke her out of her thoughts, and shaking her head the green relaxed once more.
It wasn’t like she would get far anyhow with her wings as they were currently. I will not wait much longer though. That was warning enough for Ara who was currently trying not to tremble. Thankfully, she could mask it as the response to his voice, and then as he moved in to tickle her, the trembling was easily overdone by laughter.
Here’s the thing about Alyara though. You tickle her; you are signing a contract that says she is, by no means, responsible for the damage her flailing limbs cause, which was a good thing since she tended to do just that. First, it was generally her arms trying to cover the spot being assaulted by tickling fingers, then the legs trying to gain her independence from her "attacker." Both were quickly, and if Ara did say so herself efficiently, implicated against her assailant in a barrage of "counterattacks."
Finally, it ended, though whether from her giving in from sheer exhaustion and lack of breath or from him finally ceasing his onslaught, she did not know nor care. She did however take time to catch her breath, her chest rising and falling with each gulp of air she brought back into her body. When the tingling sensation of fingers tickling her flesh finally subsided, she took a long moment to sigh in relief and only then accessed the "damage."
"So, have you learned to not tickle me, because if not..." She coyly raised her body up toward his, then with all her might, and training from seasons with rebels and Panille, she attempted to topple him over onto the bed or floor or whatever it was they ended up on and giving him the same treatment he her. The only other thing she was aware of was Aries less than amused chirp and the sound of her own heartbeat. He didn't need to know yet that she truly wanted him, that she had fallen for him. He was right, for now they were just two friends trying to be there for each other the best they could...and seeing where it took them.
Ooc: ZOMG listen to this song it is entirely, and I mean ENTIRELY how Ara feels. *new fave*

Kayath growled, not liking being told that Loraketh didn’t still exist in memory, but followed the green anyways. Now that she had destroyed a few trees the idea of getting some meat in her actually sounded tempting. Not to mention she’d get to angrily shred her dinner (in a lady-like manner of course). Once more, she flew in such a position as to catch the green if her wing was to give out; her senses were slowly returning, even if her insides were still roiling in anger.
At some point, from a secret order from J'dol, Spazz had disappeared from the room. Likely to attempt more spying. He had even sent the knopwledge to Kayath, to make sure the topaz would control Spazz and ensure he was doing what was needed.
J’dol laughed in sheer delight at the sound of Ara’s laughter. Who knew she was THIS ticklish! He increased his assault, doing his best to dodge the flailing arms as his torture continued. “Oof!” He exclaimed as a foot caught him in the gut, causing him to back away and stop his onslaught. Luckily it was only a glancing blow and had been more a surprise than anything. He chuckled as she put her all into throwing him down on the bed, though he didn’t exactly fight it.
He chuckled as she attempted to return the torture to him, though unlike Ara, J’dol wasn’t extraordinarily ticklish. In fact, he even moved his arms out of the way so that she could have full access to his side. He grinned up at her. “Tisk tisk Ara. You’ll never tickle me with all this clothing in the way you know.” It wasn’t that he wasn’t ticklish at all; catch him unaware or in the right spot and it would be possible to get laughter out of him. Yet, he had long ago learned how to block the sensation. He smirked up at her, spread his arms and even closed his eyes with a cocky grin.
“Come on then. Give me your best shot.”

To say that seeing the herd scatter as soon as the two dragons flew over wasn't thrilling to the green would be a lie. Avirith simply loved it, and every predatory instinct took over as she dove down in a quick series of turns until she finally hit one with her body. Nearby a blue trumpeted her approval of her catch, and yes it was a female blue, the only one to be exact. Though Avirith had been certain that Nystiarth and Hers had fled.
Good day to you as well young one. Instead sticking around though, the little dragonet simply spread her wings and took off. Avirith shrugged her shoulders, her wings rustling around her kill. The dragonet was an odd one and anti social to top that off. It was not uncommon for such an occurrence to happen with her.
Back in the Weyr, Ara raised an eyebrow at J'dol's challenge. "Oh well we'll have to see what I can do about that won't we?" The greenrider curled up beside him, first tickling him normally in different areas; his neck, his arms, his stomach, etc. When it didn't seem to work though, she adopted a new tactic. Her hand moved to slip under his shirt and at first she forgot what exactly she was supposed to be doing, but it was only a momentary loss of focus and Ara quickly was back on track.
She teased him instead with the gentle tips of her nails, smoothing them along tender patches of skin to see how he would react. Eventually she drew her hand back away and instead moved it along his neck and jawline doing much the same thing. This time though her lips followed, trailing little kisses wherever she went. "How am I doing so far?"

Kayath paid no mind to the female blue, her attention solely on the beasts that were now in a panic. She singled one out, a rather large one, and moved to hover above it, dropping down at the last minute. Her tactic was, perhaps, a bit strange. She likes to simply squish the beasts head to kill it, instead of scooping the flailing creature off the ground. Picking up dinner now that its head had been smushed, she moved closer to Avirith to give the creatures space to calm down before ripping chunks off the carcass. Always such a show off, you silly green. She commented between mouthfuls.
In the Weyr, J’dol grinned as Ara tried to tickle him normally, knowing already that she wouldn’t succeed. The attack on his bare skin; however, was more successful. The way she used her nails so softly actually caused him to twitch slightly under her touch, though his eyes remained closed. He wasn’t going to lose this challenge so easily after all. When she pulled her hand away, he thought perhaps she had given up, and was about to open his eyes when the gentle touched returned. This time though… this time they found a weak spot: his neck. The twitch she received this time was quite a bit larger and he could feel his heart beat quicken in response as the lightest touch of pink danced along his cheeks. As she began trailing kisses, he let out a short, muffled groan and had to bite his lip to stop himself.
“Not bad,” He replied playfully before pointing at his still closed eyes. “You haven’t won yet though.”

Avirith crooned at the Sub-Queens remark, unable to quite understand it wasn't necessarily a compliment. Well all of my adoring fans deserve a nice show of dancing. There was a teasing tone in her voice though as she kicked her jaws and stood up. Launching back into the air, she quickly snapped in the opposite direction and tumbled head over wing with another wherry. Avirith 2, Prey 0! Trumpeting her superiority over her kill, Avirith wiggled her haunches and settled in.
Indeed you two are looking quite lovely tonight. I always thought that a dragoness hunting was a, wonderfully pleasant site. The dark hued bronze stretched out his golden bronze wings and yawned. We need no compliments from you Coziryth. The King snorted, landing heavily on the ground near the Green and Topaz. Now, now Avirith my dear. Don't be so rude.
Ara's smile fell when she didn't get anywhere really. Sure she had felt the twitches, but it had failed in the end. Short of outright surprising him, she had no ideas left. Unless....the greenrider smiled again to herself. Aries go get that thing you were playing with on the beach. The Gold silently popped into between, coming back out with the object. Dropping it into Ara's hand, the Firelizard went back to her perch.
"Try harder huh?" She moved to straddle his body instead, and drew the feather she had Aries bring across the inside of his arm up to his shoulder then his neck, all the while looking down at him and trying not to giggle in the happiness she felt. Naturally that quickly went away when Avirith noticed Coziryth nearby. A mix between a growl and hiss escaped the greenrider's lips. "S'vrin's Bronze better be careful if he doesn't want two angry dragonesses tearing him apart."
Sighing, she shook the thought from her mind, instead bending over to kiss J'dol again. "Maybe if we try really hard we can make it all just fade away for a candlemark or two.
