He hissed as a foot connected with his side, quickly curling inwards to try and stop the burst of pain. He glared up at her, wondering what was wrong with her. “You’re a sharding terrible healer.” He snarled as she stepped away from him. Was that it? She forced him to stay here and now she was ignoring him? He couldn’t say why it bothered him so much. Perhaps it was because he felt completely beaten by this chick?
He rolled over, a hand clutching his side, and watched her start to take out her anger on a tree. Did she think she was impressive? He watched, his face rather passive as chunks of the tree fell away. Well.. the grass was comfortable and he knew he’d stumble if he got up now, so he figured he’d wait it out for a little bit. His eyes watched her movements.

Linda didn't even bother to respond to his snarling words, in fact he wasn't even worth it anymore after she spent so much time trying to make sure he wasn't dead. If he was going to be ungrateful fine she didn't have to listen to him whining like a child. He was a weak child who couldn't even defend himself against a group of these small of felines. Ungrateful, and apparently having some pretty bad manners as well even she knew better to listen to healers.
Of course she could hear something, the fact his footsteps weren't leaving. But he didn't speak up or anything so it was obvious either he didn't want something... or didn't want to bother her while she was beating up a tree. Her blade eventually went through the trunk to cut out. It was a large chunk of the tree, just small enough that Linda could get it to the Weyr. But it was still rather big and heavy, in fact Linda had to kneel down and pick it up with her arms not even really touching each other as she wrapped them around it.
A small whistle came from her mouth which brought every Fire Lizard to her of hers. "Okay Hana you stay with me and keep an eye out. Rorce, Cad, Renae, Jo, Jak... you lot scout around see if the Felines are trying to surround us or coming back for more."

Hmph, so she really was going to ignore him now. Stupid sharding women were so annoying! The pain in his side was disappearing now, though from the faint throbbing he was sure there was going to be a sizeable bruise there by the next day, so he forced himself to sit up. He kept his eyes on Linda, wondering why she felt the need to attack a tree like that and even more confused as she decided to actually pick up a chunk of it.
"You're one messed up chick." He commented as he stood and brushed himself off, wincing slightly as his arm stung from the movement. It appeared he really would need to work on his dueling some more... though how to train against a group of animals he wasn't quite sure. Either way, he ignored the pain of the wound and threw his arms back behind his head, lazily following after Linda. She seemed to be going in the direction of the Weyr so it was hardly unavoidable. Besides, maybe he'd get lucky and she'd drop the chunk of wood on her foot.

As Linda walked, she tried hard to walk but she had to be dependent on Hana's skills and help to make sure she didn't trip or run into anything. Glad she put the gold in this position, Rorce would have really lead her into a lot of things especially since someone was here to watch. But as she did go her eyes wandered over the wood to see if there was anything that would make her carving touch. Or anything of the spoiled variety.
But no apparently Firo wanted to destroy the peace and quiet, and even follow her now since she was apparently too burdened to take care of him... Not that it would stop her to drop it and attack him but she didn't feel like it. yeah, says the guy who got his ass kicked by a simple little feline.. and if you must know its for a carving. She wasn't going to freely say what type of carving right now, besides she had to concentrate.

He was hardly destroying the peace and quiet. In fact, if it wasn’t for the occasional cracking of twigs and rustle of bushes he was being abnormally quite. It was mostly because he had no interest in talking to this infuriate woman on the walk back to the Weyr, but it also had something to do with his curiosity regarding the wood. Luckily she answered the unspoken question, though the rest of what she said made him roll his eyes.
“Oh don’t be so full of yourself woman. So I got bit, big deal. I could have managed on my own if you hadn’t tried to stick your nose in my business.” He scowled. Just because she cut a stupid feline she seemed to think she was queen of the world. It was sickening. “Isn’t that terribly.. artsy for someone as crude as you?”

Linda still thought he was an idiotic dolt who couldn't keep quiet. To her his walking was even too loud and his breathing ugh... well maybe she was just trying to find things wrong with him but it wasn't hard given his personality. She pretty much ignored him rant about the feline though, if he felt the need to try to explain it to her then... Well he just was concerned about what she thought of him, and her response as nothing was what she thought of him.
Though his quip about being artsy she merely shrugged a bit. "Good way to trade for things when you live in the wild... and aren't you a little young to be away from mommy?"

At that comment, his expression turned from bored indifference to one of annoyance and a hint of anger. She was playing with fire now and he could confidently say he didn’t like it. His fists clenched and unclenched at his sides as he tried to fight the urge to yell at her for being such an idiot. Instead he contented himself with taking a deep breath.
“Let me guess. You lived in the wild ‘cause mommy dear didn’t want you. I can’t possibly imagine why she’d want to abandon a gem like you.” He was, of course, incredibly sarcastic as he spoke, not realizing how terrible her past could actually be. As he saw it, he simply assumed she had gone into hunting instead of a hold craft.

Linda didn't see him but Hana did as she slowly showed Linda a few images. Oh she wished he would attack, then she could really wipe that smug face off. Sure he might be good surprisingly but with how that feline bit him he wasn't going to be able to beat her without some wounds himself. But he seemed to calm down and think better of it, whatever his decision he probably saved himself alot of drama especially with his bandaged arm.
"Yeah if your parents try to kill you when your 8 turns old, tends to stand to reason they don't want you." Linda blinked a few times, oh great she had just said that out loud didn't she. She blamed that egg sooo much right now... Sure it was good she remembered but now she had a tendency to spout out about it? Linda stayed silent, if she opened her mouth again she might say something else and then where would she be.

“Oh poor ba-“ He paused in his childish insult as the words really sunk in. Her own family had tried to kill her? She was annoying sure… but to go to such extremes. He couldn’t imagine what that was like. His father had been more loving than most parents and Firo had never lacked for anything, save his own mother’s presence. He grimaced, completely at a loss for what to say. Should he comfort her? No, the stupid woman certainly hadn’t given him reason to be nice!
“It’s not surprising, with your charming personality.” It was halfhearted, not even holding the venom his words usually had when he spoke with her. No, he was saying it more for lack of anything else to say.

Well there was one good thing from her slip up, he seemed to be unable to respond. It seemed to keep him quiet too, which was good because she would rather head off to the Weyr in a good silence rather then an annoying chatter. Maybe if he learned to keep his mouth shut like a good little girl, no wait kid... Who knows he might have a good future if he could actually do something about his personality. She already had a way of life that she could go back to if she really wanted.
However nope, he had to open his mouth up but she could tell his tone was different now. Not as mean? Who knew but she didn't feel like even speaking up right now. Maybe keeping silent would make him feel worse... Yes she will just keep silent and concentrate on her task at hand.

She fell quiet, and for a moment Firo thought he had maybe offended her more than he intended. It wasn’t that it really mattered, if she ended up annoyed, why did he care. She was stuck with him untilt they got back to the Weyr anyways.
“Ha, I hit it on the nose didn’t I.” Firogel continued, well aware she was trying to ignore him now. Well, if the sound of his voice annoyed her than it was easy to assume he would continue talking. Truth be told he was rather hoping she would slip up again and give him more insight into her life. If anything, it would give him something to taunt to her with.

Linda stayed quiet for a bit, but frankly it actually did feel kind of good to talk about. Even though he was tormenting her about it she could definitely tell the venom in his teasing about it now had died down. And frankly if she spoke up now about why maybe it would cut down on the rumors about her or of what she would have to speak up about.... "I was unwanted since before birth, because they were too busy. Before and after me they loved my siblings, well until the dragons came and searched them all but me. But apparently I was too friendly with them so they attacked me... Dragon haters I guess?"
Linda merely shrugged a bit but saw the Weyr as they got to it, finally now they could part ways.... hopefully. With that she started to head away, now hoping he didn't follow her.
