The beach was silent, beautiful. The moon glittered off of the waters turning the ocean to waves of silver.
Ka'mond stood on the sands, praying and hoping Asaara received his note;; Garnets are red, Ebonies are black, I was thinking of you. Hope you write back. ~ Meet me at the beach tonight- Ka'mond
The Blondehaired boy began to pace. What if the albino did not show up? That thought made Ka'mond sad...
Mine? Why are you so worried? Come home and watch the stars from our ledge. I heard there will be shooting stars tonight... [/color]
Abyrath yawned into Hers thoughts, missing Ka'mond's attention.
I'm busy tonight, Abyrath. I'll take you to the river and wash and oil you tomorrow I promise.
Ka'mond looked around for Asaara, pacing a dent in the sand. Oh please show up!

Asaara walked across the beach, holding the note Ka'mond gave her. It read: Garnets are red, Ebonies are black, I was thinking of you. Hope you write back. ~ Meet me at the beach tonight- Ka'mond[/i] She smiled as she read the note over and over again. She may be a candidate, but by hopefully Impressing a male color, she could be with him for life. She then spotted something in the sky heading right for her.
Mhedroh landed on her shoulder, returning from delivering a note to Ka'mond that read: Roses are red Violets are Blue Just so you know I love you! ~ Asaara She scratched under his chin as he ruffed his feathers. It may not be the best poem she could write, but at least Ka'mond would like it. She looked to the skies; she heard whispers of shooting stars tonight. Perfect. she thought to herself If I make the most perfect wish, maybe it will come true!
She spotted Ka'mond sitting on the beach, alone. She raised her right hand and shouted "Hey Ka'mond!"

Ka'mond held Asaara's note, his heart beating loudly in his ears. He almost didn't hear the albino as she came from behind him. But he turned to see her, making an exclamation of surprise and delight. "Asaara!" Before he'd even finished his greeting, he'd embraced Asaara happily. "I thought.. maybe we could watch the stars tonight? They say there will be shooting stars..." Ka'mond was grinning and he noted how the moonlight lite up Asaara's skin. Like starlight on snow...
The sky was a deep midnight black, and the expanse of stars were popping up. Millions and millions began to appear. Like diamonds of silver, blue and red or raindrops frozen in time.
It was beautiful to experiance alone, but it was indescribable with Asaara here. "I'm really glad you came. I didn't think you'd have time to since the eggs are so close to hatching...." Ka'mond had broken the hug a moment ago, but he still held Asaara's hands. Tonight would be fun. He could feel it.

Asaara was nearly tackled to the ground by an enthusiastic Ka'mond. She giggled as he hugged her. "Sure, I would love to watch the stars with you." she told him. She sat on the sands with him, gazing at the stars. "I have plenty of time. Ever since I came here, I had more time than ever before." She sighed, thinking of her mother, who tragically died before she left for Trelis.
Ka'mond was holding onto her hand as they watched the stars; Asaara pointing out some groups of stars that form the constellations that she knew by heart. She almost didn't spot the Red Star in the sky, signaling that Thread was on its way very soon " There it is," she told Ka'mond almost in a whisper, pointing to it, "the Red Star." She turned to him, and by surprise, kissed him on the lips.

Ka'mond couldn't be happier. He watched the stars flicker in the sky and also noticed the Red Star. The red glowing spot made a shiver go down his back... He and Abyrath would likely be fighting those thread storms.... It was terrifying...
He was shocked when Asaara's lips met his, and he seemed to hesitate as if he would pull away but he didn't. Ka'mond embraced Asaara and held her closer to him. He pulled her into for another kiss.. he felt clumsy and unsteady. He'd never kissed anyone before.. this was his first..
"I've never seen the stars shine so bright... Is it me or is this more beautiful with you here?" He whispered the sweet words, as if afriad his voice would shatter this dream...
