Go to the healer No. Don't make me come in there and get you, Mine. Ah but you can't. You won't fit in the cave this spring is in.
And then there was silence... F'lon sighed quietly in relief as his companion stopped throwing quick remarks his way and seemed to let the subject drop. The duo had been out of the Rebel camp for a little less then a week doing, of course, their usual less than noble deeds as the Master Thief had begun to get a little stir crazy with the lack of excitement around the camp.
What had started off as a smooth and routine snatch and scram, at a small hold in the middle of no where, had quickly gone from great to sour on their third day. Long story short the less than noble dragonrider's plan was foiled by a drudge and he had to made a quick exit. That exit just happened to be from a window... on the third floor and the ground had been less than forgiving on his landing. A rock was kind enough to catch his head during his tumble and he was certain he at least rolled his ankle, not to mention the finger that he had shoved back in place after it had become dislocated.
All in all his little trip had been a bust and now he was dealing with a grumpy and worried dragonness. So, naturally, he shrugged off heading to the infirmary and instead limped over to the hot springs where he currently resided. After stripping and tossing his clothes on top of a worn out towel, the thief sank into the warm waters till it lapped at his chin and closed his eyes. Yes, this was much better for his aches and pains then sitting stuck in that silly infirmary for a day or so.
I'll call her. Aphath, don't you dare.
Oh and dare she did. With a huff and eyes swirling yellow and orange, the young Amethyst reached out for the mind of a particular Green and spilled the location of Hers, while mentioning his current lapse in judgement. Well if he wasn't going to listen to her, then Aphath was just going to have to bring in reinforcements.

You're not going to like this Pan.
As long as it doesn't have to do with Candidates, Weyrlings, or a certain Amethystrider getting himself into trouble I'm good.
Then no, you're not going to like this.
Oh Faranth let it be the Candidates or Weyrlings. If it's him, I'm going to strangle that boy. I swear he gets into way too many bad situations.
And you don't?
Touche. The Redhaired rider shook her head and straightened from her curled up position, shaking out her hands and feet as she looked around. Well, they hadn't been in the little cave they had picked out when she had checked before, and they wouldn't be...Here. Ah well, that certainly wasn't that bad a place to be if he wanted the Greenrider to be somewhat okay with his latest antics.
"Alright you...what were you up to this time?" She grabbed up the waves of hair she had, twisting them up into a messy bun and keeping them there with a length of chord. "You didn't get her messed up too did you?" Her eyes flickered over cautiously to where the amethyst was that her green was now moving toward before heading into the spring. Was he being himself again? Iliath curled up comfortably, her wings folding in against her sides.
"Well, how can I be mad at you now?" She let her eyes linger perhaps a bit too long over the only slightly hidden form of his body in the hot spring before she slipped off her shoes and rolled up her pants. "Mind if I sit?" The rider didn't bother waiting for an answer, instead she just dangled her legs into the water and watched it swirl around her feet. "Remind you of old times?" A coy tone worked its way into her voice, her cheeks growing hot slightly as she thought back to that time in the Trelis bathing caverns after the Southern riders had shown up.
"Come on...let me help you clean some of that blood and muck off. Maybe a bandage or two too...."

"Ahhh..." The thief sighed, purely and utterly content as let the wonderful hot springs work their magic and his battered and bruised body. It was warm and warm was so sooo nice. Sinking a little lower he dunked his head under the water before resurfacing a moment later, lazily scrubbing at his face. Suppressing a hiss, F'lon winced as his fingers brushed along the open wound and the quickly forming lump just behind his ear. "Stupid bloody rock..." Grumbling to himself he sighed and closed his eyes once again, content just to stay put for as long as it took for him to feel better. Besides, it wasn't like someone was looking for him.
No sooner had those thoughts passed through his mind and he had fallen into a relaxed state did someone stroll into his little cave and immediately jump on his case. Startled by the sudden voice, F'lons eyes snapped open and he slipped under the water, only to come up coughing a moment later. "Aphath!" He shouted through his coughing fit. "Bloody dragon just couldn't keep her mouth shut..." Pulling a rather sour face, he shot a glare at the mouth of the cave to where he knew his companion was situated.
"I wasn't up to anything. I don't know what that silly dragon told you, but I am the picture of innocence here." It was clear he was just more then a little agitated now as he shot her a sideways look. Not that he wasn't glad to see her, don't get him wrong. He just never liked people seeing him when his plans played out less than perfect and he ended up looking a mess. As far as he was concerned it was a sign of weakness and he hated people seeing him in such a way. He was trapped though. Two dragons blocked the cave exit while he had his own fiery read head to deal with inside.
Of course. When is he not? The skull-marked amethyst huffed in minor agitation before mimicking the older green, settled down and curled up.
So he sat in silence for a small stretch of time, sulking at being ratted out by his own dragon and annoyed at his horribly botched week. Sighing at last he wiped the water from his face and examined the heavily discolored bruise surrounding the joint he had to force back into place. "No no, she's fine. I'm not foolish enough to let her get hurt." Rubbing the back of his neck he finally lifted his head and looked her way in time to see her take a seat along the edge of the spring and dip her feet in the water. Now she was right, this was familiar.
F'lon couldn't help himself, despite every wrongdoing, every mishap that he had gone through the past week, he grinned foolishly at her comment. Those had been some good ol' times. Changing up his position in the spring, he carefully moved over to where she was sitting, folded and set his arms on the edge of the 'pool' before resting his chin on top and looking up at her. The barest hint of a smirk played with his features. "You came to take advantage of me, didn't you?"

Panille scowled at him when he mentioned being the picture of innocence. F'lon was nothing of the sort, if he was then she was a Firelizard! Rolling her eyes she shook her head and splashed a handful of water his way. "You're no where near innocent F'lon. Come on, you've been gone for a few days. Where to?" Her head tilted to the side as she looked at him, watching his movements to try and figure out where he was hurt.
"I didn't come to take advantage of you dimglow..." Her voice was slightly bitter and yet still held a mocking tone in it as well. "I came because I was worried. Can't I be?" Stopping she kicked the water back and forth with little movements of her feet, closing her eyes and telling herself that he was alive and well. You worry too much about him. So what if I do? Her teeth nibbled at her lower lip for a moment before she finally looked up at F'lon again.
"Did you hear? It was a baby girl....I think her name's Kiira." She talked quietly, for the first time realizing she missed her old Weyr. Not home, no the only thing to be home was Ista and that no longer was an option. Trelis however was close to her heart. "Do you think you'll try to pay your family a visit? I've thought about seeing Alyara...just to tell them that Inali and Inoria are here. I don't understand why Noita is trying to keep it secret from them."
The greenrider shook her head, keeping her voice low and almost a whispered breath in case anyone could hear. Not that they would. It still felt safer like this though. "Do you think we made the right choice coming here? I don't feel bad...it's just not what I expected....and I think those sharding Weyrlings are going to drive me mad." Her eyes closed as she grimaced before opening them again and sighing. "It's better than before perhaps though."
Getting up she paced back and forth before finally casting a quick glance to the other rider and then shook her head. There was no reason she couldn't join him, and the hot springs looked tempting. Before she could think about it Pan slipped off the pants instead, leaving the too big tunic that she had gotten from the laundry and stepped into the water, letting a relieved breath to as she sunk below the warmth.

F'lon rolled his eyes as he quickly realized she didn't seem to be in the mood for their usual banter and play. Ducking his head slightly as she splashed him, he shook the water from his face before pushing away from the side and returning to his previous spot. Setting his back against the wall he idly rubbed rubbed some caked on dirt and blood from his shoulder before her inquiry to his whereabouts caused him to look her way once more.
"I was..." He hesitated. Should he beat around the bush or just come out and tell her about his less than pleasant week? He sighed inwardly, no doubt that silly dragon of his would spill the beans if he wasn't completely honest. Truth be told he wasn't even sure why he was so nervous about telling her in the first place. "We went to a small little hold to the north of here, posing as a Harper sent to do a portrait for the new family. Anyways," the thief ran an idle hand through his hair, forgetting about the injury and grimacing as his fingers grazed it. "To make a long story short I was discovered rifling through their lovely treasure room by a damned drudge and had to make a quick exit...empty handed." The last part was thrown in their almost bitterly. "It wasn't a pretty landing either."
"Just a few more minutes and I would have been out of there..." Angrily he slapped at the water then nearly yelped as the pain shot through his injured hand. He swore under his breath and gently massaged the ugly bruised appendage. "I'm getting to old for this."
As she spoke, softer and he though he caught a touch of sadness in her voice, F'lon stopped what he was doing and looked her way. "Yeah...I heard." His own voice was almost equally as soft as he thought back on all those he had left behind at Trelis. True he hated the place, always had since he was a child, but that's where his son was, that's where his brother and the rest of his family was. So it would always be home to him.
"You too? I want to, yes. I miss my boy. Also need to make sure that brother of mine hasn't followed through on his threat of giving him a fair of 'lizards and whatever other 'pets' he comes across." He shifted up positions slightly until his back found a more comfortable spot against the side of the spring. "I don't know, maybe? I think I might have been too quick to make my decision to leave. I was too angry with Ar'rex and S'vrin and everyone that I just wanted a change. But now that I'm living in a tent I'd gladly go back to my drafty old weyr."
He raised an eyebrow as she shimmied out of her pants and he took the opportunity to look her over before she stepped into and quickly sank into the warmth. "Aw come now, you love your little weyrlings. They can be such delights." Grinning now, he was of course referring to the time, all those turns ago, when he decided to brighten up her life.
"Come here, girl. I missed you.." F'lon reached out his good hand through the water in the hopes of taking her by the hand and pulling her in for a hug.

She listened patiently, or what she thought was patience even though it was more like a mix of careful concern and aloofness spiced with a dash of annoyance. Was she mad at him for going out on an adventure? No. Was she mad that he got caught? Not entirely, that was more where the frustration was coming from. So, why did she still look at him with a slight glare in her green eyes; well that was entirely because he went without her. Now, it wasn't that Panille thought she deserved to go because of some sort of need to be around him, though that was always a nice plus. Oh no, the rider would have just love to get in on some action and play that lovely little game of mischief he called his work.
She sharding missed that stuff damnit! Perhaps we should go out on our own then? The Green eyed the cavern where Hers and the Amethyst's rider was, the colors of her faceted eyes mixing slowly. What, and make him get his pants in a twist for not going? It would serve him right though for not taking you and I. Well, Iliath did have a point there now didn't she? Pan almost missed his comment on home. However, as soon as it registered she sighed wistfully and shook her head. "I certainly do miss having an actual weyr instead of a hole in the wall barely big enough to fit me let alone her whenever she doesn't want to sleep on a ledge outside."
Iliath made a grumble that was most definitely agreement, her wings stretching slightly as she looked at the younger dragoness beside her. Personally I think Ours have all the fun and leave us with little to none. Panille decidedly ignored that and instead let her head tilt back into the water, her eyes closing as she dunked her head and then came up again for air. The springs were at least a nice little touch here on Rindell, you didn't have quite the same things on Trelis unless you knew where to look. Thankfully we did huh girl? Again the only agreement she got from the Green was a rumble of approval.
"I..I missed you too. Of course, you're going to have to make it up to me now for not taking me along. I mean come on, I could have easily distracted some measly little drudge while you were busy. Where's that amazing sense of yours F'lon?" She teased him, letting him drawn her in so that they were hugging, and without thinking she let her head fall against his shoulder. "I'm just glad you're okay."

F'lon had watched her carefully for any sort of reaction as he told his wayward tale. Always watching, always reading, always trying to get into the mind of his company. It was an old habit really, one he realized he didn't necessarily need when he was around Panile anymore. It was a scary thing when he thought about just how much he had learned to relax and let his guard down around her.
He noticed her slight frown, the way her brow furrowed, and how her eyes seemed to spark with a hidden anger as she looked at him. What was going on in that head of hers? Blasted woman. Why did she have to be so hard to read? "Make it up to you?" The thief repeated with a rarely seen soft smile as she didn't fight his outstretched hand and came to sit beside him and find a comfortable spot for her head to rest on his shoulder. Well, looking back at it now if would have been nice to have another set of eyes out there on the job with him. So why didn't he ask her?
Frowning he looked towards the caves entrance in time to hear Aphath snort and catch the light reflecting off her eyes. It's obvious why. Don't understand why you keep things bottled up all the time, Mine. The dark haired man shook his head and did his best to ignore his dragons words. Silly little-..what does she know anyway?! "I...I thought you would have been too preoccupied with the weyrlings to join this degenerate in his ungodly excursions." F'lon pulled a face a soon as the words had left his mouth. That was a pathetic excuse even for him. Well, he couldn't just come right out and tell her it was because he was worried she would end up getting hurt. Or that he worked best alone and never had someone there to rely on to watch his back. Or that he kind of liked coming back and having her rant and rave at him for his blatant carelessness before they wound up just how they were now; quiet and content just to be near each other again. How could he just come out and tell her he liked this...whatever this was?

"Busy?" She laughed at that, her eyes glinting with a mischievous light. "I told the Knights and Noita that it would be best to do one on one training that I oversaw....not that I actually do any overseeing. Basically I wiggled my way out of it, thank Faranth." Smirking the greenrider let her feet kick the water lightly, her eyes following the movement of the water. Something was off though, something was most definitely changed between them both. The way he had acted, it wasn't normal for him. The F'lon she had first started to know wouldn't have said something as simple as that. No, there was something else. Something that was bothering him...
"So, why did you really not tell me?" Her voice had grown lower in volume, her tone serious and no longer jesting. Panille didn't like it when others skirted around the truth with her, as hypocritical as that was since she always skirted around it herself. However, this was different wasn't it? Yes, different, it was different. The only thing that's different is that your curiosity has gotten the better of you. Iliath snorted as she flicked her tail, her bright green hide catching the light as she moved. To Aphath she simply gave a snort, her shoulders rolling as she moved into a more comfortable position.
Yours and Mine play this game so often. They think they are better than the other at it, but they're both so terrible it's almost silly. They try to hard to conceal the true reasons behind things, and in the end they are so wrapped up in their own actions they don't see the others for what it truly is. Funny since their normal instincts should catch this and yet only mess it up more. Iliath shook her head, her eyes glowling a dim blue as she looked at the younger amethyst. That is besides the point I suppose though, did Yours and you find at least what you were looking for?

The thief chuckled and ran a wet hand through equally wet hair as he tried to smooth the wayward strands down. "So basically you've passed your job on to every other sap here unlucky enough to get suckered into teaching someone?" He grinned and shook his head slightly, settling back against the side of the spring as his gaze wandered out to where the two dragons lay curled. "Let's hope none of them get the smart idea to try and ask me. I doubt teaching is one of my strong points."
Shrugging he stifled a yawn with the back of his hand, quickly become lost in his own thoughts once more, only to snap back to the present when she uttered her question for the second time. F'lon frowned slightly at the tone of her voice. She wasn't playing any more. Their cherry atmosphere had suddenly faded and now, it seemed, things were getting more serious. He gulped and nervously cleared his throat. C'mon man! Don't let yourself get backed into a corner here! Say something, say anything, lie for Faranths sake! Shards...
Aphath rumbled and resettled her wings before resting her head on her claws, glancing at the older green from the corner of her eyes. I don't know why Mine continues to play such a game with Yours. It eats away at him somedays, like I predict it will tonight once you and Yours have left. The skull-marked dragon exhaled heavily, the draconic equivalent of a sigh and looked back towards the cave where Theirs still remained. I keep telling him that his stubbornness will be his undoing. And no, we didn't. After all that Mine left empty handed...
Meanwhile F'lon shifted uncomfortably as her question rang through his ears once again. "I..." Well so much for a strong and confident start. No, he couldn't tell her, the rejection from that one would definitely set him over the edge and lead him to take on more trips of increasing difficulty and danger. "I told you already, I...I figured you were too busy and had other things on your plate." That was weak, his whole frame of mind was just weak and pathetic at the moment. "I should go..." Dragging himself from the spring, F'lon snatched his dirty and torn trousers from the ground and quickly tugged them on, completely bypassing the drying off stage, and headed for the mouth of the cave, his boots and shirt dangling from one hand as he limped out into the night.

Panille was left staring. Just staring after the other rider as he jumped out of the water and pulled on his pants.
Now, where have I seen this before?
Shut up!
The mental note was snapped as Panille took a moment to stay in the spring herself, the warmth of the water doing nothing for the shivers that ran up and down her arms and body. He was impossible! He was just like the rest, playing games, manipulating her...he....he....."Faranth F'lon you are not doing this a-shardin'-gain!" Pulling herself up after him and tugging on the dress she had been wearing, not caring that she was soaking wet still either, she ran after him, giving a firm command to Iliath who snapped her jaws and hissed a warning at the thief.
"You are not doing this anymore to me. I'm done, I can't do this anymore." She shook her head, her hands balling up into fists at her sides. "I like you okay.....I really, really like you and I'm terrified of that. You know what, you like me too. I know it, and if you don't then shards I'm insane then! So just stop...either admit it and we can move on from this idiotic pretense we call a game, or let me just go because I can't....I can't keep waiting wondering if you're wanting to be around me just because you like me as a friend or if there is something more. I've been through the whole being led around thing before, and I hate it...I promised myself I wouldn't do it again, not after the last time."
She took a breath, finally letting herself breath after the rush of words, her green eyes narrowed and yet not mistrustful. How could she ever be truly hateful to him, not when he actually acted like he understood her, not when he knew the things she had done and acted like he didn't care. "Faranth.....say something!" Iliath hissed again, mimicking her rider's feelings, her eyes blazing a bright red as she crept as close to Panille as she could get, her tail snaking in to touch her rider's leg.
That's enough Mine....come now....come with me.
Except Panille didn't go anywhere, she just stood there staring at the thief who had been finally caught...or so she hoped.

He had heard the sloshing of the spring and he guessed she must have hastily jumped out but really paid it no mind at first. Naturally he figured he'd simply see her storm past him and out into the night. It's what he deserved really. So you can imagine his surprise when he actually heard her shouting after him and even more so when that green dragon of hers snarled and hissed in his general direction. Almost immediately his green eyes narrowed at the large creature. He had already had the displeasure of ending up beneath one of her massive claws before and F'lon really had no desire for a repeat but if she was really going to sick her dragon on him...
Soon though, his thoughts of dragon fighting were shoved to the back of his mind as Pan finally caught up with him and began to spill just what exactly was on her mind. His gaze fell to the ground as his grip tightened momentarily on the items clutched in his hand. At this Aphath growled lowly at Hers. Don't run, Mine. Not this time.
The cornered thief shifted slightly, already feeling trapped and uneasy as he spared a quick glance at his own dragon. She was right of course...dammed dragon. Oh but how desperately he wanted to. Its who he was after all. "I..." He stumbled over his first attempt and scowling in his self frustration, the man ran a hasty hand through his hair. Just say something man!
"I...I don't want to let you go." There...first confession was out now to just keep rolling. "I want you in my life for as long as you'll have me. I'm just afraid you're going to go find someone better who doesn't go and nearly get themselves killed on a daily basis..." The thief paused and bit his tongue, knowing he was rambling and feeling more like an idiot with each passing second.
Finally he just got to the point where he was growing sick of beating around the bush and just spilled it all. "Fine, you want to hear it? I've been in love with you for a while now and the reason I don't ask you to go with me is I'm scared that you'll get hurt because of a stupid mistake I've made!" Chest heaving slightly from the sudden outburst, F'lon twitched as a shiver crept up his spine and he finally forced his eyes to meet hers. This was it, it was out in the open now. There was nothing he could do but wait for her reaction, which he hoped wouldn't be a repeat of her green tackling him.

It's funny how you can be so sure you'll hear something, see something, feel it or just plain endure it, and then life decides to do a twisted turn and say "Not this time." Generally, Panille had learned that this so called "turn of events" was not often a good one, at least for her it wasn't. This time though, well it sort of grabbed her and shook her until she realized that hey, sometimes good things happen too. After all, this was a good thing right? Right?!? Her breathing steadily increased, and then all together stopped as her heart beat in her chest, and for the first time in turns she worried about something as silly as if someone could hear it, but not just anyone...a certain someone.
"I...I don't want to let you go."
It was the first thing he said, and she clung to it, hoping that it wasn't just a gentle way of letting her down. That wouldn't be new either though she supposed, but relief was quickly on the momentary worry's heels as he continued. As long as I'll have him....did he not even listen when I said I liked him? Silly man.....silly, wonderful man. Iliath snorted at the thoughts that coursed through her rider's mind, withdrawing her tail from around Panille's legs and wrapping it around her own. Odd RiderofMine. You have become strange.....who are you again? I'm your lifemate Iliath, I never changed....not really. The green chortled a laugh at that, her eyes glowing a mix of yellow and green.
She didn't really stop paying attention to what F'lon was saying despite the temporary conversation with her dragon though. Oh no, this was too important to miss any bit of, and to be honest Panille was hanging on his every word, and partially hating herself for doing just that all the same. Finally though, after what seemed like he'd continue to do nothing else but beat around the bush, he just came out and said what he felt. Honestly, she hadn't expected for him to say that. Slowly her eyes went from being narrowed, to normal, and then widened as she noted the shiver that crossed his body and then he met her eyes and it was left to her now wasn't it?
Well, that wasn't exactly the best idea seeing as Panille was in something somewhat akin to shock, but definitely less severe. All she could do was blink at him, her mouth slightly open as she tried to say something, and yet no words came out...not even a little squeak. Occasionally her eyes would widen a tiny bit more before closing and then they would go back to normal, and her hand twitched as she tried to wrap her mind around just what the thief had said to her. I'd say something if I were you...you're looking like a wherry about to be eaten...but more stupid and less afraid.
Rounding on the green and giving a stare that might has well been her shouting go flap off and fly yourself, Panille gritted her teeth and took a breath shaking her head. "You....wait....okay, you love me but you've been afraid to say anything because you didn't want me getting hurt?" She furrowed her brow as she tried to puzzle that together, finally just laughing. "F'lon, I get myself into dangerous situations on a weekly, if not daily basis....the difference is if I'm going to be stupid at least I can have someone to be stupid with...someone I know has my back, someone I...." She bit back the word she almost said, her tongue stuck to the roof of her mouth where the beginning of it had been starting.
Did she dare...did she really dare say it? She had already said a smaller version, Faranth she had started this whole conversation! Taking in a deep breath she closed her eyes and finally whispered, "someone I love." Opening her eyes she looked at him, a frail sort of vulnerability in the green gaze before she looked away and it disappeared under a more guarded mask. "I just was too afraid you'd not feel the same way....that after all this time something had changed and not for the better." There, she had said it too, now they were really getting on a role weren't they?
Well, at least they won't be driving us crazy with their games anymore Aphath.

Oh, no… She wasn’t talking. Why wasn’t she talking?! What had he said? F’lons eyes widened slightly as if he suddenly realized just what it was he had told her. Ah, shards! The ‘L’ word! Why did I say the ‘L’ word?! You stupid sharding thief of a man! That had to be it, right? He spilled the fact that he loved her and now she was frozen in shock, or disgust. Well he had to act fast now. Oh but what to do? He could take it back. I’m sure that would go over well. Quiet! It was a thought though. He could take it back and later on blame it on his current head injury. Oh who was he kidding? That would definitely warrant him being eaten by that dragon of hers.
The silence was nearly deafening now. He was desperate for any sort of noise; a cough, a sneeze, anything that would tell him she was still alive and his abrupt confession hadn’t shocked her to death. Then, just when he thought the silence was about to smother him, the unthinkable happened; she laughed. A few things happened all at once; immediately his heart sank before quickly hardening once more and his eyes narrowed almost menacingly. Fight mode was dangerously close to switching on. Stop thinking so much for once and just pay attention. The thief scowled as he shot a look at the lounging amethyst. Even so, his prior defensive posture had relaxed somewhat as he turned back to Panille and what it was she was saying, now that she was actually speaking again. As he listened he found he couldn’t help the smirk that was forming and ended up ducking his head for a moment.
“Well now isn’t this something. Here was me thinkin’ I was actually doing the right thing by not telling you. Guess that makes me a bit of an idiot, huh?” Sighing, though it was more from tiredness than their current conversation, F’lon scratched at his stubble covered chin and chuckled softly. “I can do stupid. In fact, I’ve been told I’m pretty good at stupid. But I'm sure you knew that already.” With a small flick of his wrist he gestured to his heavily bruised and scarred torso. Usually he always wore a top to keep the marks hidden but for right now, the article of clothing hung uselessly from his hand.

"You're no more of an idiot than I am. We both have had our share of stupid....not that that's a bad thing though."
Panille chuckled and shook her head, her green eyes dancing with a happy light as she started to relax once more. This was good, communication...it was good. Still, part of her was ready for someone to come in and say surprise, for it to just fall out under her feet and to face the reality. When will you learn that this is the reality my love? Iliath's gentle croon was accompanied by a hiss as Panille shoved at her mentally, the green shoving back playfully as they often did. "Where did you get all of these?"
She tilted her head as her hand reached out without her thinking, her eyes lingering over the many scars that criss-crossed over his skin. Was it so wrong to want to know where they had come from? Panille had always been, well mostly been, forward with her past. How much had he actually told her though? The greenrider couldn't think of much, usually it was her that was spilling her mind not the other way around. Still, her fingers were outstretched, wanting to trace the skin that had been marred by Faranth knew what misdeeds.
Was it part of why he was so closed off? Did something happen to him before, something he had never told her? Well, it wouldn't be exactly implausible. Panille had her own secrets too, she had memories that she would rather not bring up. That was how life was she supposed though; full of skeletons being kept in chests locked up tight against the prying eyes of the world and the judges that deemed you unfit for it. You're thinking too much about all of this Mine. Perhaps she was, but Pan didn't really care. It was easier to contemplate life perhaps than to linger on the question of what they would do now. For now it was out with how they felt, but changing the subject for a short time wasn't necessarily a bad thing.
