Gormyth flapped his wings back gently to slow his descent to the edge of the shelf. The ex-bronze rider Dalrian had given him permission to use it since g'lwein's weyr wasn't quite built for housing two large browns. He lowered his neck and bent his knees allowing his rider to slide to the ground. G'lwein hit the floor with a sigh. Stretching, he tossed his pack into a basket beside the shelf and patted gor's leg. ". Goodnight Gor.".
Goodnight G'lwein mine.[/color]
G'lwein followed the path illuminated by the midnight moon, leaving the weyr on tired legs and quietly as a shadow, went to his own weyr. He could See her form there beneath the furs, and smiled. There was his reason for living.
Silently, he unbuckled his weapon belts and pulled his shirt over his head, settling them on a chair before pulling off his boots. Clad in only his soft hide breeches, he slipped into their bed and slipped his arms around her, pressing a small kiss to the back of her neck. He was home.

Samara was sleeping very well tonight, dreaming of Gl'wein, in fact. She missed her weyrmate like no other. why did he haveto be gone for so long. She felt someone then, the arms slipping around her felt so familiar... the kiss at the back of her neck. She couldn't help it, her eyes flew open and she rolled over to wrap her arms around him. It was Gl'wein. Her Gl'wein. She bit her lip and buried her face against his chest as happy tears started to fall. "Finally... you're home. Right here with me.." She looked up at him as she tried to pull herself as close to him as she could, holding onto him tightly. If it wasn't already obvious how much she had missed him, what else was going to make it more obvious.
She didn't want t go back to sleep now, though doubtlessly he was tired. Very tired. He had just arrived back home, safely and he was in her arms. Faranth. She didn't like it when he had to go on these missions. Sometimes she wondered if there would be one someday... that he didn't come home from. She couldn't have that. He was her home as much as she was his. She'd never have anywhere or anyone to belong with again. Not without him...
"I missed you, dearest..." she whispered to him, pressing resting her head against his chest once again. "You don't have any new scars you want to tell me about do you...?" It was whispered with a slight laugh. Gl'wein rarely came away wiht scars it seemed... or at least bad ones or noticeable ones... he was too good for that.

G'lwein smiled and stroked her hair softly while she cried and attempted to fuse herself into him. He waited patiently until she looked up to pat her face dry with the edge of one of the softer furs. He slanted his arms across her back gently fitting her against him, relishing the feel of having her in his arms again. That was the only aspect of these missions from Iirla he hated. He was without this woman for sometimes weeks at a time.
She was an amazing woman, he thought brushing her hair behind her ear, to still be waiting for him each and every time he was gone. He knew some women who would have found someone else to warm their furs at night, but this was his samara. She'd never be with anyone else just like he would never be with anyone else. They belonged to eachother. He caressed her cheek for a moment memorizing her cache in the darkness again before he leaned down and gave her a soft kiss. His lips curved as she asked him about new scars. He had no new scars to speak of. Perhaps a small already healing bruise or two, but nothing that would leave a mark.
"No new scars love. Of course I'd be willing to let you check my story once it's light enough to see?"
His voice had an amused flirtatious lilt to it as one of his hands moved lower to settle on her hip. Hey, he was tired, yes, but he wasn't dead. His wildcat could make his pulse race even if he were dead.

Samara closed her eyes and kissed him, though she didn't just stop with one single kiss but rather spread them across his face and neck before pressing them to his lips again, more than happy to settle against him. "Maybe in the morning, love...?" She asked him ,her tone somewhat choked as she tried to regain herself. Which was easier said than done... she was all to glad to have him back. "You better stick close for awhile, Gl'wein... I don't want to be out of your sight for more than a few minutes... I don't want you otu of my sight for a while either. I want you to stay with me. I missed you... so much..." She kissed him again, this time a bit more forcefully. She nuzzled into him, her arms wrapping around him tightly. She wondered if either of them were going to sleep tonight. It tended to be a habit that they didn't his first night back.... but he needed his rest... badly. Especially right now. "Oh... I would love to take a look in the morning, dearest." She kissed his cheek softly and settled into his arms.
I am glad you have returned safely, brotherbrown. Amiith said. He was more than happy that His had her mate back and to have his brother around. He gave a yawn and settled back to get some more sleep.
Samara closed her eyes, arms wrapped around Gl'wein and her head pressed against his chest. He was the most incredible man ever. Simple as that.

He chuckled lightly at the showering of kisses, capturing her lips with his at the end with a playful growl. She didn't want him going anywhere huh? Well he didn't want to go anywhere for a while either. He didnt even want to sleep even though he'd been gone for nearly three weeks on this one and tired was an understatement. He hadn't held her this way in three weeks.
" I plan on sticking around for a while, love. When I report to Iirla tomorrow afternoon I plan on making that abundantly clear. And we don't have weyrling classes besides j'degar's group, maybe she'll let me assist with your candidates." he smiled thoughtfully and gently rubbed her back, all too happy to return her kiss, even nipping lightly at her bottom lip. When she settled he tugged the furs up over themselves again and kissed her forehead, settling his cheek against the top of her head content just to be holding her again.
