The bronzerider was sitting quite peacefully on the powdery sand, watching the sun rise upon the blue horizon. The deep teal waves lapped the shore in a repeatitive calming way. It helped to clear Zi'axe's head, helped him to forget... Eiko. Why the Hell did he think of her so much? She wedged herself in every waking thought and (quite to Zi'axe's horror) his dreams. And ie asked himself... why couldn't he forget her?
You love her Mine. You don't know it but you do. Why don't you tell her? That's what I'd do.
The bronze yawned from his place on the beach, blinking his large eyes. What a silly man His could be... stupid almost...
I don't need her, Kasprth! I don't need anyone!
Zi'axe scowled, lips frowning in an ugly sneer. Ha! Tell Eiko he loved her?! That's the dumbest thing he'd heard!
The bronze growled low in his throat, eyes turning a brilliant shade of ruby red. Zi'axe, sometimes you are as idiotic as a herdbeast. Do you think I was trying to help you? Maybe I was but I would hardly care if you stayed a lonely bastard the rest of your life!
Zi'axe calmed himself, feeling defeated. I...I'm sorry Kasprth... I guess you are right ... when I see her again.. maybe I could tell her...
Kasprth simplely grunted, clearly still offended.
What would become of these feelings now?

We are not leaving. How many times do I have to say that Pet? I'm sorry, but this is who we are!
Eiko gritted her teeth as she bent over the slim neck of her lifemate, the dragonet arching it to look at her with worried and yet stern eyes. The mixture of greens and yellows were streaked with red, and yet Eiko knew there was nothing Nimarath could do to change her mind. She had left the last meeting she had attended, she had refused to go to the more recent ones, and the rumors were only starting to get worse. Not that they had necessarily reached everyone, but just the fact that there were no more recruits coming in, that a good number of the riders they had around Pern had stopped their contact with the Rebellion.
Noita's Obsidian Rebellion was falling apart, and yet that was when people should fear it the most. The weyrling sighed, her eyes closing as she relaxed against her dragonet's hide. Just don't make me go back yet...I can't deal with people today. The Obsidian gave it a moment of two to think, but eventually she did rumble an agreement. Hers would not do well to meet others now, she was too scattered in her mind. Collect yourself, then we shall come back. Nodding her head, Eiko pushed the veil of silvery white hair back from her eyes and wrapped an arm in front of her as she curled up on the dragonet's neck.
It was good that Nimarath was getting bigger now, almost to full size, but naturally not quite there. How big was she now? The size of a blue, maybe almost a brown? She was getting closer and closer, and yet she was still smaller than the other two Obsidians had been at her age. It wasn't like Eiko cared though, Nimarath was how she was supposed to be, nothing wrong with that she supposed. The Bronze and his rider are here. Instantly the weyrling froze, her head shooting up. Oh shards and shells, the only thing worse would be a certain Garnet and rider....can we avoid them?
...now why would we do that?
The evil, devious tone in Nimarath's voice gave a small shiver to Eiko's body as the Obsidian suddenly leapt into the air and flapped her wings a few times to gain some altitude, quickly flying to where Kasprth and his rider were. Done worrying over greens Kasprth? Be nice...and please let's go...
You wish, this is going to be fun...and a learning experience. Now sit still and be good, say hello. Nimarath snorted, already losing patience with her rider. It wasn't like her to care enough whether Eiko acted like she should or not, but lately it had for whatever reason. Either way, it looked like the only way out was through. I hate you. "Hello...."

Kasprth lifted his head, half opening his metallic wings. He snorted at the Obsidian's rude greeting and comment.
Perhaps, perhaps. It seems you still have your words of sharp wit, Nimarath.. Good to see you too.
The bronze focused his yellow-green gaze on the small sub-queen's beautiful body. He had half a thought to flirt with her, to impress her, but this was not his time to do so. No, this was the time he would make His's life either better or worse.
Mine seems to be having a bit of trouble. Its so nice you both could come to help solve this... You see, Zi'axe has developed feelings for Yours. He does not know it, or he does but refuses to believe so, but he likes, or loves Yours. It is quite amusing really. One as cold and calm as Mine so confused by alittle affectionate feelings... What would yours say to this?
If a dragon could smile, Kasprth would have quite a sly grin on his face. In a teasing, playful manner Kasprth flicked his tail against Nimarath's flank, fully expecting to be bitten or whacked.
Zi'axe frowned as he saw Eiko. No, this was all too soon! What would he say? And would Eiko still respect him? What man was so terrified of feelings?
Swallowing his pride, the bronzerider walked as calmly as he could manage toward Eiko. "H-Hey, Eiko.... How.. how are you?"
Shardit all! How embaressing this was! His voice quivered and broke mid-way... This seemed headed for the worse.
