Talian sighed silently to herself as she walked along the beach. It had taken some time but she had managed to sneak away from her father and out of the Weyr itself. Both of her firelizards were on their customary perches with Chef sitting on her right shoulder and Ruby sitting on top of her head. She felt terrible now that her mother and her sister were gone, and she felt even worse knowing that Inoria had left her puppy behind. Talian had found the little female in the Weyrbowl looking very depressed. But the four turn old child was happy to see that Rujhia seemed to perk up when she saw Princess. The two young canines were now running ahead of the young child, having a little bit of fun playing chase with the waves. She kept a very close eye on the two puppies, making sure they weren’t going to get into any trouble.
