It was no longer the gather, and well after that Linda had become a Candidate.... She had moved to live here in Trelis Weyr just as those who were always searched but part of her seemed... Tense for some reason, well she knew the reason why because well... New place, new people... She didn't do well with other humans as much as she did with animals and Dragon kin.... Oh she could be civil and well with her patients and when she had to but she just never knew really how to act herself yet properly around them.
The young girl just had to let out all her frustration and anxiety, and well she only knew one way she could really do that. Thankfully the one good thing about the rebellion was the training area for humans in the Weyr. It was around Dawn as well, yet Linda was already well under way of her sparring match. Nearby all six of her Fire Lizards, and her little albino forest Huntyre lay there huddled up in a blanket she brought for them. Not even Hana was really awake at the time, she and the rest knew the routine and could sleep in while Linda worked up a sweat early in the morning.
Swiftly her right hand shot out, the blunt side of her blade whizzed through the air before ti hit the target. Her left leg snaked out nearly the same time to kick the foundation as to trip her enemy. She couldn't do too hard, it was only a practice and going too all out into one single move and it missed caused problems. Almost like dancing she twirled around to use both small blades within her hands.. Her legs getting as much use as them, even her body doing a cartwheel or two as she went all out. For Linda this was her stress relief, her outlet, her workout. Softly she panted for breath as sweat started to make the fabric of her clothes stick to her but she didn't stop yet.

Sun come soon Korvin. Korvin and Korvin's go home? The little white chirped as she toddled ahead of her handler, her ever curious eyes scanning the Weyrbowl as she had been taught to do Turns ago. It had been a routine night, all things considered. With the addition of the hatchling bronze to his group, he had returned to the status of wherling, though he had more freedom than most, having already raised a wher.
In front of him, the small, knee-high hatching toddled around proudly, all muscle and pride despite having only been hatched not long ago, at the Gather. He would occasionally bark an order at the larger, full grown white. So far though, Kosk had ignored every command or snide comment from her 'little brother' and had even gone so far as to give him a good what with her stick from time to time. The interaction brought a brief smile to his lips. This was why he was here in the Weyr, to raise and train his partners. He didn't need people to survive, just a safe place until Korvisk was old enough to go back beyond the walls.
No... that wasn't the complete truth. He had another reason to be here. He glanced down at his side, where a gray muzzled canine shuffled slowly along. He reached down to pet him, feeling a sadness well up in him once more. His dog wasn't going to be part of this world for too much longer... that sickness had really taken it out of him. Brushing a strand of hair from his eyes, he glanced back up to see Kosk and his other canine Gray run off in a game of tag, leaving Korvisk behind to grumble and groan about his rights as a king.
That was when strange sounds reached his ears... from the training grounds? Who would be up at this hour? He turned towards the ground, giving a brief whistle to let his partners know where he was going. Stepping into the grounds, he groaned at the all to familiar form. The crazy wench from the tent. Wonderful. He was about to leave when Korvisk decided he would investigate the girl. GirlHuman! GirlHuman is Korvisk's servant now. Korvisk hungry. Bring Korvisk meat. He barked at her, and there was no doubt his voice would reach her. Shards, Korvin grumbled, he could feel the headache already.

no no no!!! still not enough, she had to fight more, she had to break the practice dummy before she could get completely free of all her hatred and frustration out of her body... But it wasn't meant to be as she heard some walking? Slowly she stopped and put away her blades in their sheathes after a quick once over. They didn't need to be cleaned or oiled right now so she could deal with whomever it was... However when she turned around she noticed a Wher and..... that boy oh dear god was he actually a Wher person? Of this weyr? She had hoped he had left after the gather so she wouldn't have to kill someone... and now she really had to watch herself.
But the first person to speak... was inside her head the Wher of course. Linda's green eyes turned to look at Korvisk as he called her a girlservant and demanded food as well. However instead of a bad reaction as what Korvin might have thought... Linda just smiled, a gentle smile towards Korvisk and looked tender as well. Hana stirred and chirped a bit but seeing and feeling Linda was okay.. curled up in the blankets back to sleep. "Well I am indeed honored great Korvisk, but alas I cannot accept a position as your servant. Your Handler and I don't get along well... But I do have some dried meat with me if you want some. I have them just for the occasion of someone getting hungry." Even her voice was soft, and gentle... seemed she was trying to show her utmost respect to Korvisk, even when she said she was honored she took a low bow towards him.
Linda, once finished speaking though, started to look around in her pouches attached to her belt. She rifled out a good handful of dried meat while she still had some left for emergencies as she gently held it out. "This meat is some wherrie, some beast. But both have been cooked with fruit and other herbs wrapped up in leaves. Then I dried them out so it might taste different from other meat you have had before. Though you might wish to ask your Handler if he even wants you to take it from me." Her voice didn't really hold any venom in it, in fact she was just trying to use common sense as to not have Korvin think she would poison Korvisk... Or if he distrusted her then well he had that option and the Wher wouldn't freak out.

She looked as unhappy to see him as he was to see her. He watched Korvisk approach her, and the bronzes words had, of course, been heard in his mind as well. He chuckled to himself and wondered if his bronze was about to learn a valuable lesson about demanding servitude but... the crazy girl didn't see at all bothered... in fact, it looked like she was bowing to him! Sharding great! He was trying to train the bronze not to do that and here she was enforcing it! Rubbing at his temple he stepped towards them, intent on carrying the hatchling away if he had to.
Korvisk growled as she denied the position she offered. How dare she! How could she claim to be honoured but deny him her servitude! This simply would not stand at all! The little bronze huffed, reachign out to bat a claw against her leg. No! GirlServant is Korvisk's servant. Korvisk'sKorvin tell servant! He once again broadcasted his voice for all to hear. He was a king! He deserved to be listened to. Korvin chuckled, crossing his arms. It was the girls fault for allowing him to treat her this way in the first place.
"O' course 'visk. She ain't no good fer anythin' else." In truth though, he was horribly wary of any food coming from her. He knew she disliked him, whos to say she didnt have some sort of deadly snack waiting to take his partner? On the bright side, at least she was leaving him alone. Faranth knew he couldn't handle dealing with another messed up woman. As she explained the food out loud, no doubt meant for the wher and not him, Korvisk nodded in approval; she knew her stuff. He himself was a decent cook, and used a variety of herbs with his meats, but never fruits. It was an intruiging idea, and one he would secretly try out the next time he wandered beyond the Weyr.
"His 'andler has a name wench." Though he didn't offer it up, he just wanted to berate her. He gave a silent ok to the bronze and watched as Korvisk lunged for the meat. If Linda wasn't careful, he could end up biting her fingers.

Linda heard the growl, and instantly glanced over the Wher's body... she saw the swipe coming and without even doing anything but react she Jumped backwards... Not just a regular jump no it was a flip, her hands planted on the ground before she went back onto her feet solidly. But Linda couldn't help but giggle a little bit and gave a smile towards Korvisk again. "Now Sir Korvisk, I know it is probably a great insult... But I am really thinking of what is best for you, if you had me as a servant I would spoil you rotten... You might get lazy and fat and as Noble as you are, you should be powerful and strong. An epitome of all Whers and what they should aspire to be, a kind and inspiration to them all. You don't want someone like me who would smother you in loves and ruin that image right? As a Wher who has a mommy who cuddles him, feeds him, it might look bad for you."
Softly she heard a slight hum from towards the blankets. Hana was now fully awake and slowly flew over to land on her shoulder before she chirped a hello. Linda however ignored what Korvin had said about her being only good for that. However Linda did smile still at Korvisk as she spoke up again. "Besides, I am also a Candidate up for impression. Wouldn't you rather have an ally who was in a more powerful position to help you with your cause? I don't mind helping where I can, since I am also a healer so if you get hurt I can tend to you as one." She watched her fingers as well, keeping them just out of reach as she would slide one or two of the meat out of her hands so before Korvisk fully chomped down, her fingers were clear... She still had work to do and couldn't do it well if she had problems with her fingers after all.
Now however Korvin dared speak to her again, saying he had a name so she just turned her head towards him and raised an eyebrow. Didn't he know just how easily she could get his Wher to turn on him in mere seconds? Nevermind he had never spoken of his name around her so why would she use it.... "I do not know your name, thus Handler suits you fine. We aren't more then people who have now bumped into each other twice now after all Handler." But wait it didn't end there... Softly she started to sniffle as she turned to Korvisk as tears formed in her eyes. Hana and the others, as they stirred, started to chirp worriedly and croon towards her. "... b.. besides... the big scary mean... man... he doesn't want you to have me as a servant... he is trying to chase me away...."

Korvin laughed. Sir Korvisk? Did she realize how rediculous she sounded? Sure, his bronze would one day be a king, like all of his colour, but he would forever be a servant to his master's commands; the bronze just didn't quite understand that yet. Of course, Korvin used the term master lightly... his whers and canines were his partners, his companions, his family. He trusted their insights as much as he hoped they trusted his. One could not work without the other. The bronze wher of course, wiggled happily, glad someone finally could see that he was special, better than the rest.
His wiggling stopped at her explanation for not becoming a servant, and he cocked his head, trying to wrap his young mind around it. Korvisk'sKorvin cuddles and feeds. Korvin make itches go and tummy not hurt. Why wouldn't he want another human fawning over him and giving him everything he wanted! He snapped up the food, his eyes whirling happily at the taste and shared it mentally with his handler. Korvin blinked in surprise, but had to admit... whatever she did when she cooked was good. He sat down, oddly not feeling the need to leave or approach. Perhaps it was because Korvisk was sending him such happy feelings, or because the others were still playing, but he was loathe to destroy this tranquil peace... even if the girl was ignoring him outright. Well... it certainly was better than being yelled at. Before long his male canine had returned to curl up beside him and rest, though he did growl slightly at Linda for being so close to his family.
He couldn't help but grin as she told him off for the name comment. As big a pain as she seemed to be, at least she wasn't a complete ditz like most of the women at Trelis. Wait was she.. was she crying? Scratch that, she was as stupid and useless as the rest. Korvisk cocked his head to the side as his servant became sad. Why was she crying? His had only made a comment. He hissed and turned away from her, toddling back towards his handler. Korvisk need strong servant. Korvisk not like crybaby. He said to her. A king told his servants their shortcomings after all.
Korvin barked with laughter, having heard the entire exchange through his wher. "Didja really think that'd work? Idiot!" A wher knew his handler, inside and out. THey shared a bond that went beyond anything a normal person would know... a bond beaten only by dragon and rider. He glanced to the side, not at all to see Kosk was sitting just out of sight of Linda, observing, and waiting, in case she needed to interfere.

Linda quickly wiped her hands clean on a rag she took out from another pouch, which she quickly put back in, after Korvisk had ate all of the food. Her crying ceased soon as Korvisk left and said he didn't need her as a servant. She was glad, it really was a win win with the crying, either get Korvisk against his Handler or not want her as a servant. She couldn't help but grin over at Korvin though as he spoke up about it. "Win Win for me anyways, now he doesn't want me as a servant. I know the bonds between Dragons, Whers, and their riders and handlers." She tapped her head with a finger as if to say it was planned. But she gave a smile to Korvisk and turned towards Hana. She reached out to the gold to gently scratch her eye ridges as she softly cooed at her.
"It is alright Hana, nothing wrong alright, It is still Dawn though and I need to go back to my training. You go sleep with the others I need my flexibility." Hana warbled softly a bit before she glided over to the others to curl up in the blanket. "Handler I suggest you and yours don't get too close while I train. I don't want to cause them distress." She spoke up just enough so he could hear her at least and after that she was glad to kind of just ignore him now. Quickly she went back to the training post and slid her blades out in instinctive expertise from many years... that was if Korvin had enough attention and eye, and brains, to tell of course.
A barrage of noises, blades thunked into the wood, boots thudded into it. Linda preferred a more agile and flexible fighting style that she could wing any situation she came across... not all fights with wild felines were the same or other things that wished her death. Rolls, flips, and even cartwheels of sort or jumping to the side.... she had to train herself in every type of scenario she could think of. Though she didn't change her fighting style previous so hopefully that Handler wouldn't insult her by saying she was trying to show off now. Her concentration wasn't really limited though, but more focused in front of her... and directly around her. She didn't have as much concern about being attacked from behind here but that didn't mean someone couldn't walk up and get hurt.

"Oh look, she speaks to people too!" He replied snarkily, rubbing Korvisk under the chin as he returned to his side. He knew dawn was fast approaching and the whers wouldn't be able to stay out much longer... but something inside of him was intrigued by this girl. Perhaps it was because she seemed to hate the people here as much (if not more) than he did. Although... her insults could use a lot of work if she wanted to come off as someone with some semblance of intelligence. He could tell, from the way she had tricked his wher (and himself really) that she had quite the mind... it really was a shame it didn't show.
He remained seated, intrigued in her training. Korvin had always been an opportunist, the type to always want to expand his abilities when it came to survival or hunting and he had seen a brief glimpse of what she did before. Now though, he wanted to observe, to see if she had skill and, if she did, he would see if he could incorporate it into his knowledge base. He kept his eyes glued to her form, nodding in approval at the subtle details that showed just how experienced she was. He gulped... she was good, really good. In fact, as loathe as he was to admit it, he didn't doubt she would kick his butt in close combat.
Kosk approached him then, her hide white hide shining despite the soon-to-be-gone dark. She sat beside him, her head cocked to the side and her long tail wrapped around her foreclaws. Where Korvisk was a bossy brute of a wher, Kosk was calm, playful and soft. She reached her voice out to the girl this time. Kosk thinks girl's dance very beautiful. Kosk'sKorvin is entranced too.
"Shu' up Kosk." He glanced warily at the sky, no doubt he needed to get the whers home soon, but he wanted to watch a little longer.

Linda continued swiftly with her blades that whizzed through the air, though as she heard Kosk speak up into her head she sighed a bit. Guess it was about time to finish this session since soon it will be time to work on her Fair and Felli. Without even faltering from hearing the voice in her head, she leaped up and grabbed with her hands on the target. It made her body swivel to behind it almost sitting on its "shoulders" with her legs wrapped around right underneath it's "arms". Her legs moved up to pin them against the body so even if it was a feline it couldn't kick at her with the back legs. One hand reached down to try to break it's "neck" while her blade with from the throat.... before she finally slid off and started to thoroughly clean her blades and oil them before they would be put away.
"Thank you Kosk, but sorry it is not a dance, it is how I fight. You see I had to survive against wild felines so this is how I did it." She glanced over at the other Wher and gave her a little smile, she was different from Korvisk, white, and apparently a second wher that Korvin had... maybe he wasn't that bad of a person if two whers actually wanted to be with him. But she turned back to her blades, and peered closely to see how sharp they still were with a hair she plucked from her head. Seeing they were still good she slid them back into their holders and walked over to Hana, Rorce, Cad, Jo, Jak, Renae, and Felli were. "Hana, Rorce, Cad, Jo, Jak, Renae.... Its time for your training, but most of it is going to be getting Felli up to your standards okay."
A flurry of the well oiled gold, garnet, brown, blues, and green hides took to the air as they hovered just out of the way. Hana however landed on Linda's shoulder while Rorce took the other side. A little white feathery fluffball though chirrped softly from the blanket on the ground. Linda reached down and picked up the Albino Huntyre with a smile. "Felli, since you are still young and just hatched very recently... We will start with one command for now and try to get your stamina up for long periods of flight. Now you won't be in a do or die situation like the others in the wild... But I am still going to be strict okay?" Her voice wasn't loud, she wasn't purposely trying to speak up enough for Korvin and his Wher's to hear her... she was just speaking for her fire lizards and huntyre's sake.

“Show off.” Korvin grumbled, though no doubt it was loud enough to hear if she was listening at all. Looked like the show was over now; she was beginning to clean her blades, something that caused Korvin to nod in approval. Though he hadn’t believed it at first, there was no doubt about it now; this girl was no regular Trelisian. If Korvin had to guess, he’d assume she’d spent at least a small chunk of time in the wild. As he heard her speak to Kosk, his belief was confirmed.
Kosk and Kosk’sKorvin fight feline too. Snarly things. Kosk no like them. She posed slightly, nosing at one of the small scars on her side. Though felines in the area were rare, there was the odd one about and Kosk had spent many a night fighting them off from caves and food.
She cocked her head as the woman moved off and called forth a fair of critters, sending an image of them, and the young huntyre hatchling. Though she hadn’t quite heard what the woman was saying, she had picked up the word training,
“Y’ain’t gunna make that furball fly are ya?” His brow furrowed in confusion. He had eaten his fair share of avians in the past, and that one looked like it hadn’t been out of the egg for long. “That thing doesn’t ‘ave any flight feathers in yet, does it?” Sure, Korvin knew he was definitely butting in now, and sure, he didn’t have a huntyre of his own, but Korvin was an animal person. He didn’t push his canines before they were old enough, didn’t expect his whers to try things before they were ready and if he had a bird, he wouldn’t make it fly before it was possible. He had thought she would have skill, seeing the multitude of those horrid flits she had, but now he was doubting it once more.

Linda did hear the slight grumble but couldn't make it out, just that there was noise from afar. She glanced towards him but didn't say anything, she had trained to try to pick up noises around her in case of sneak attacks but not to hear individual words.... But knowing him and his track record from what she saw it was obviously a snide remark of some sort. What surprised her was how Kosk told her that they fought felines as well... That brat actually knew how to fight at least a little well enough to defend himself? Well maybe it was the small kind which was the same size as the pets of felines... not her size of wild ones.
"Yeah they are troublesome, especially if there is a group of large ones." She glanced over though, she was nosing at something on her hide... probably an old injury of some sort. It wouldn't surprise her, she and her fair weren't all the way uninjured either... Just more her and Rorce had the more prominent scars that showed up rather well. Linda turned her attention back to Felli who just chirped softly up at her and ruffled her little flightless wings... Of course she couldn't fly yet, Linda wasn't that stupid but apparently Korvin really thought she had nothing inside her head.
With a scowl on her face Linda turned to Korvin, she was now getting really tired of his interruptions now... She would probably be almost over with training and back in the candidate barracks with no one the wiser if it wasn't for him. "She hatched less then a sevenday ago, of course I am not going to make her fly. What do you think I am? Of course she doesn't have her flight feathers in yet, in fact she still has her down. But doesn't mean she can't run or start working on strength and stamina for her muscles." Linda closed her eyes and took a deep breathe, so her fire lizards wouldn't start getting antsy and decide that he was a threat enough to go against her orders. As she opened her eyes though she started to speak again.
"A little pouch, with sand put into it, growing weight over time, while put on them with a harness type system. Gets the accustomed to more and more weight so it increases their endurance when they are free of it. Sure it doesn't make a Fire Lizard suddenly strong enough to carry something large by itself, but does extend the time they can stay up in the air before they have to land and rest. Same with everyone, though flying for flyers, running for runners, or humans with their antics." Linda was slightly showing off now, she had to admit inwardly... but she was also saying it like a mantra, something to help her keep calm and concentrate on like a meditative state.

"Well, fer a moment there I though' y'were an idiot," He replied, still not entirely sure he liked her training regiment. He was all for training his beasts from an early age, but even he drew the line somewhere... to Korvin the first few weeks or months (depending on growth rate) of a pet's life were spent bonding; he wanted partners, not servants. He liked bonds formed of mutual trust and companionship, not those of slavery. As it was, Korvisk's training consisted of trust building exercises and the basic behavioural fixes and he was already a few weeks old. "I ain't never thought I'd see a bird runnin' along the ground," Korvin retorted, though once more he found himself giving her an approving glance. She knew her stuff, that much was obvious. "We use th'old water trick to build up those startin muscles. Let's ya train longer before they get too tired. 'Course, I doubt yer fluff ball would like that too much huh." He was talking more for lack of anything else to do really. He had far too much energy to go to sleep just yet, and the only thing making him want to return to his weyr were the whers. Kosk wasn't the type to stay out of conversations when she had something to say, and while normally the goings-on of other humans didn't interest her too much, she could feel Korvin was interested in this girl. Kosk think girl smart. Korvin think girl good at survival, though Korvin not say. Girl lives wild like Kosk and Korvin? Kosk and Korvin want know, what girl's name? Korvin growled as the white spoke, once again annoyed that she didn't heed his instructions to stay out of things. Although... this girl seemed to be okay with answering his whers so maybe he should abuse that.

Linda raised an eyebrow as she glanced over at Korvin, she had knelt down and started to rig up a good enough harness for the bird and take out the pouches to fill with a little bit of sand. "And that is different from before?" She commented on him thinking she was an idiot, she wasn't blind to his hatred and demeaning of her especially from different. And frankly she was sick and tired of trying to hold back and sugar coat her words to try to not cause any trouble. The stress she had gotten rid of while beating up that target was all back, and then some... Hopefully she could get through the rest of the day, or maybe she would just concoct up some stuff to help her appear a little sick so she could just rest for the rest of the day.
Linda though just shrugged as he spoke again, this time about birds running along the ground. She had seen plenty, especially the younger ones and wherries who waded through the thick growth of jungles and forests in the southern continent. But then that absurd idea of using water? She couldn't help but turn to him with mouth gaped open like he was a complete and utter idiot. "And waste good drinking water? Or did you use salt water that slowly eats away at things like pouches over time? A bath in salt water is good from time to time, but either way I don't think it would be good for training with either types... Especially if it suddenly gets cold they might freeze she doesn't have much protection..." Now she felt sorry for his Whers... having to deal with such an idiot who could end up killing them with his inabilities. Seriously there was a limit to human idiocy and stupidity... or so she thought...
So Flabbergasted she slipped up with the harness and it became a mess... Linda growled and just put it back into her pouch before she picked up Felli and placed her in her shirt pocket. "Sorry you guys, Guess we aren't going to train today. Everyone gets the day off alright? We might try again later tonight though if your up for it." Her fair slowly landed on each part of her body they could, each crooning softly as they tried to nuzzle her to help her feel better. A smile tugged at her lips and she gave each a little bit attention tenderly.
Slowly Linda started to stand up, not to jostle her Fire Lizards or really harm them as they clung to her clothing and hair. She was used to this when they got clingy and she let them with a little smile before she heard Kosk speak up... Slowly she walked over so it would be easier to speak to the Wher but didn't come too close, only close enough. "Thanks Kosk... and yes for... how long was it... Eight Turns give or take a couple I guess I lived in the Southern Continent. and my name is Linda... My gold is Hana, garnet Rorce, brown Cad, the blues Jo and Jak, the green Renae... and the albino forest is Felli." Linda wasn't about to introduce her little company but Hana had started to chirp up a greetings to the Wher... All of them were being good and ignoring Korvin though and Felli was all comfortable in her pocket at least.

"Fer a moment there I thought y'might 'ave somethin' in that head." He retorted with a roll of his eyes. Sure, he thought everyone was an idiot when he first met them, but she HAD shown she was capable, at the very least, and Korvin respected that. He didn't miss the tenseness about her. She really was pathetic... getting so annoyed by a simple conversation it seemed. As if she should be the annoyed one; he was the one getting ignored.
"Only an idiot would soak their things in th'water, idiot." He scoffed, rubbing at the stubble on his chin as he regarded her. He had no idea what she thought he meant, but it didn't seem to be anywhere near his intention. "When Kosk was li'l we went swimmin', fer the resistance in the water. Good fer the muscles." He ignored her comment about the bird, assuming that had been common knowledge and instead scratched at the white's chin, elliciting a content purr from the wher. Swimming fun, make Kosk strong and clean! However, her little slip up did cause him to chuckle.
"Eight Turns huh, impressive." Korvin commented, an approving tone in his voice. "Were ya on yer own?" Korvin had grown up in a family camp, learning to survive and hunt from the moment he was old enough to hold a bow, and of his life he had spent a collective five turns with only the canines, and eventually Kosk, as company. The white cocked her head, trying to remember all the names; she had a better memory then most whers, but she still had a hard time. Korvisk grumbled. Too many name. Korvisk call all dinner. He snapped his jaws. Kosk shot the bronze a look and, picking up a stick, gave him a good whack on the head. Friends, not dinner. Korvisk learn. Both whers were speaking for the girl to hear. Linda and Linda's pets be Kosk's friends?

Maybe it would be just best to ignore most of what he said, he obviously didn't realize what she meant that no matter how long in salt water, if it was reused a lot like she had to then eventually holes would be eaten in the fabric and hides. Slightly she shrugged and just wondered if he was going to keep her hear all day long speaking to her. It was starting to get rather bright and her gaze rested on the two whers. Well he wasn't that stupid when it came to them it appeared so maybe he was keeping an eye out. She didn't know much about them nor their limits and tolerances anyways.
"I didn't have much in supplies, and if you reuse stuff too much in salt water it can get eaten away...." Linda's words were slow as she tried to think and be selective... She didn't want to really reveal too much of her past, she got here to get away from it after all. But now what he said earlier made sense, about the swimming thing, sadly most of the water was rather dangerous unless with the dolphins so she gave a little quirky smile. "Guess different ways for different situations, waters where I was... well wasn't exactly safe enough to do much training in like that." With Kosk's purring and outburst caused Linda to chuckle a little bit and smile gently at the little white Wher. Yes if it wasn't for her and Korvisk she woulda already killed the guy or took off... The first would have probably kicked her out of the Weyr.
But then here came the question she was dreading, she really visibly tensed up and her face instantly went blank as she tried to think of what she could plausibly say. "... mostly yes.... First while I ran into some Dolphins who I helped that helped me back though.... till I got on my feet and had supplies." Thankfully though Korvisk spoke up about too many names and she just gave a little smirk at him. Rorce started to straighten up but a look from Linda made him glare at her and hide in her hair. Kosk however saved Linda as she instantly welcomed the change in topic. "Yes not dinner, no matter how much those felines wanted them as such. And of course Kosk, and we can be your friends too Korvisk. hrm... Kosk if you want I still have a strip of meat that Korvisk had earlier if you want some?"
