Banemith was raging mad now, as the bronze taunted him and an Obsidian began to flirt with him. He charged at the bronze again, this time going airborne. He screamed and bit into the bronze's front leg. He let go and licked his lips. Oh, how he loved it when bronzes bleed! He dug his claws into the bronze's back, he wanted to please his love! My love! Peniath! I will defend you to the day I die! he called to his love.
G'daro was terrified- no, HORRIFIED at his beloved dragon's actions. Why would he do these things for a green? Maybe if he hadn't let him chase her, this would have never happened. He clung onto U'wa as the two dragons fought. Would he lose his beloved friend to the fangs of a rebel bronze?

Kasprth bellowed and snarled, and opened his maw to bath Banemith in flame. This, however, was inturrupted by Nimerith's appearance. He lunged forward with his jaws to bite Banemith's wing, just a nip really, on the edge. No damage done except for a gash in the brown's hide. Jade colored blood trickled down his foreleg, sticky and hot. But that didn't matter. Furious, Kasprth beat his metallic wings, driving upwards with sheer force. He was king! He was powerful! How dare a sub-king, a BROWN challange him! How DARE he push and test a bronze! Kasprth's eyes blazed with bloody fire, and his lips were peeled back in a wide snarl. He would make Banemith pay. This brown needed to learn his place. The battle was still for Peniath, but now it involved the bronze's large pride.
Zi'axe grasped his arm as Banemith's teeth sank into Kasprth's leg. His brow glistened with sweat, and with narrowed eyes he waved at G'daro. Fareth he hated this! "Can someone explai-"
Kasprth's roar cut Zi'axe short. Is this how you answer your king, Banemith!? Its a sad day when a dragon becomes so ignorent. [/i] Kasprth was testing Banemith, like a child who purposely pokes their sibling to start a fight. He was provoking the brown, edging him to attack again. But it was Kasprth's turn. The bronze dove at Banemith, ramming his body against the smaller male. He let his tail whip at the brown's face, but otherwise his attack was a bluff.
And then he changed tactics.
Oh Peni. Why are you entangled with such a male as this? I can offer you more, my princess.
The bite mark on his leg had crusted over already, as it was not deep. Kasprth's eyes had dulled to a faint blue green, with unlaying swirls of red.
Zi'axe cursed, watching his dragon. Kasprth! What has gotten into you? Come down now, forget this nonsense!
But the bronze snorted, however he landed next to Peniath, wary of the brown.

Stop it, both of you! You're giving me a sharing headache and are acting like hatchlings!
The Obsidian stretched herself out as she watched the two males fighting above. Such volatile actions were uncommon in all but Garnets except for flights, but that was before the rebels had grown used to scuffling among each other and other Weyrs. She hissed low, a high pitched cry cutting the silence after the last blow had been given. A dark tail slapped against the earth, her smaller body ridged and proud in its stance despite her youth.
She was a Sub-Queen and she was comanding them apart! Foolish males! Neither is worth your time Peniath, both are no better than whers! They fight each other instead of sing us proper praises and they risk their lives when such strength is needed elsewhere and for other means. There is a time and place boys! Eiko's eyes widened at the rational voice and uncharacteristic nature of her bonded. Nimarath.... Snorting the dragonet turned whirling eyes on Kasprth and hissed.
You call yourself a King and yet you act like a Jester! Calm down, a true King should know better. As for you Banemith, your past losses are as inconsequential as you're past victories. Nothing is more important than your rider's safety. While you two play the part of hurt lovers they are there afraid for your well being and their own as well. Would you risk yourself instead of act civil, would you risk them?!?
She beat her wings irritated and settled only when Eiko layed a comforting hand on her shoulder. They are idiots, terrible, boring idiots pet. I'm growing bored with their games. The dark dragonet eyed the other three with red eyes.

It was horrible, terrifying! Peniath paced anxiously from the ground, her eyes whirling in distress as her flight winner and her bronze friend fought midair. She bugled again, tryin got get their attention but it seemed like neither would pay her any mind. Oh oh Mine what do i do? I didn't want this! I didn't! Why won't they stop!? She wanted to fly to them, break them up herself, but what could one little green do against two dragons that big? She felt so helpless.
Despite his worry, U'wa couldn't help but turn a deep shade of red as G'daro clung to him. He wanted to support the other man, tell him it would all be okay, but U'wa felt as useless as his dragon. He awkward;y wrapped an arm around G'daro, hoping it would somehow comfort the brownrider and knowing it likely would do nothing. Stop it! Please stop! I don't want you to fight! Please! She cried again, her wings flapping in alarm as ichor started to seep from both dragons. A hero came in the form of Nimarath. Never had Peniath been so happy to hear the obsidian before. She crooned thankfully to the younger drgaoness, sighing in relief at the same time. Oh the power of a true queen!
She turned her gaze back on the males then. You! You! YOU IMBECILES! Her eyes were still whirling in distress.
