Hello, hello, remember me? I’m everything you can’t control Somewhere beyond the pain There must be a way to believe We can break through
Blood it! Akilu's mental scream sounded in Lorendyth's mind, deaf to the green. She had been so peaceful asleep, yet now the almost black dragoness was a thing of beautiful vengeance. Anyone that dared come too close was asking to be snapped at, and the green hissed as a blue catiously landed nearby. None yet, none at all! Not until she, Lorendyth, was ready for them. She didn't want to deal with them yet, they hadn't even proven themselves, and oh there would be plenty for them to do in her flight.
Snaking her tail behind her, Lorendyth dove for the feeding pins, taking down a wherry and going for its neck. Again that insescent whining buzzed at the edges of her mind. Hissing, she snapped her mind back at Akilu making the weyrling bite her lip. The young woman was slowly loosing control, yet she wobbled to her own weyr, blinded now and again by her green's vision.
Blood it, blood it or you'll never get far. Akilu forced herself to be harsh with her dragoness, unbelieving that Lorendyth could think such cruel thoughts. Snapping her front paws down against the wherry, Lorendyth obliged gorging herself on blood instead of meat. Her rider was right, although it was not this thing's blood she wanted. Taking down another one for good measure just to make herself feel a bit better, the green crooned happily and flicked her wings free of the lingering stains.
Who dares to even come close? Who dares to risk a bit of pain? I won't succumb easily, not when I have something to protect. With that she launched into the air, screeching so that whatever males didn't hear her mental challenge would hear her vocal one. She certainly hoped that a certain Garnet Prince would come. Not that he would get an easy time if he did. Oh no, Lorendyth was as unpredictable as she was mischievous. This would be quite the interesting thing....not that she ever saw what was to come next. That was entirely not in her plans.
There’s still time Close your eyes Only love will guide you home Tear down the walls and free your soul ‘Til we crash We’re forever spiraling Down, down, down, down
(Ooc: Next post for me won't be until Zi posts and both greens have some chasers. :3)

U'wa and Green Peniath It had been a routine mission. He was just supposed to fly close to the Weyr to check out how things were going… yet in the chaos of the battle, U’wa had somehow gotten himself trapped at Trelis until he could find time to escape again. Peniath had been awfully sleepy lately though, so at least she could enjoy the relative safety of the Weyr while she got her energy back. As it was, he was holed up in his weyr; the one he had occupied before leaving for the rebellion, and on a day like today he was lucky it happened to be next to Akilu’s. He wasn’t sure whether it was Lorendyth’s primal scream, or some deep, hidden instinct that woke Peniath from her slumber, but she woke. U’wa clutched his head as a multitude of animalistic emotions attacked his mind, and by the time he had regained control of his thoughts, Peniath had already launched herself down to the pens and was tearing strips of flesh from an unsuspecting herdbeast. U’wa realized what it meant then… he had begun to think she would never rise; Faranth knew she was well overdue for her maiden flight… but he and Peniath had both always been late bloomers. Even now, despite knowing this day would come, U’wa was terrified. He had never been with anybody… Shards, he had never even held hands with a girl, and now it would be too late for him to have any say. B-blood it! Don’t eat it.. please… His mind was meek, and Peniath easily thwarted him, scarfing down another chunk of meat. No! Y-You can’t fly on a full stomach! Peniath roared defiantly, but with another meek, but willful shove from her rider, gave in and blooded… though in truth it could have simply been because she wasn’t hungry. Far above, Lorendyth had already taken to the skies, and another loud screech forced Peniath to look up, eyes whirling with a combination of annoyed red and lusty purple. Doesn’t she look marvelous… I want to look like that… I want to fly… I want to be chased… I NEED to fly! Her own wordless screech joined the noise in the air as she launched from the ground, wings beating furiously as she joined her fellow green in the sky; as friends, as rivals… she didn’t know. What she did know, was that there was something she had to do. Spiralling up into the sky she sent her own call to the males of Trelis, her voice attempting to overpower Lorendyth’s, her voice wanting and pleading. Oooh~ I too want to see those who would chase. I want to see you, to hear you. I want to see you wrapped around me. I want it… no... I NEED it. Come to me, give me something to lust for. I want you~Already beat red, U’wa paced back and forth in his room, trying his hardest to keep his own mind, though he had known from the beginning that it would be fruitless. Somehow, without his noticing, his feet had taken him to the neighbouring Weyr… as if he had somehow known that he needed to be as close to the other green’s rider to make it easy for the chasers. He stared dumbly at Akilu as his mind became more and more a part of Peniath’s.
Yufa and Garnet Braymoth Braymoth glanced down to the feeding pens as not one, but two loud screeches echoed through the ‘bowl, one after another. It was easy to say Braymoth hadn’t bothered to participate in mating flights before; he was usually preoccupied with his secret work, or busy causing havoc in the beats pens. For Braymoth, the feeling of lust had never particularly outweighed the feeling of enjoyment he had caising bloodshed. Besides, the greens that had been rising recently were ones he didn’t know, and a flight was not exactly the way to make the allies he wanted. As he gazed down at the pens, the sight he saw was enough to perk his interest though. Of all the greens to rise it was two he knew. One was the whiny whelp that had bonded to his rider’s own sibling, but the other… the other was Lorendyth; that saucy, tricky green lady he was rather fond of. His tail swished curiously as she landed on her first herdbeast, and the beastial way she tore into it was all Braymoth needed to make up his mind. He dropped from the ledge as she was launching from the pens, and he stopped only long enough to grab a few gulps of blood from the beast he landed on. Faranth knew he would need it to keep up with this devilish green. He could feel Yufa’s confusion and urged her to find Lorendyth’s weyr, pleased when she obeyed. The muscles rippled in his hind legs as he launched after the greens, though his goal was soley on Lorendyth; he may have enjoyed chaos but he wouldn’t force Yufa to be with her own brother against her will. No… this was meant to be fun. He let out a deep roar as he rose after the greens. A risk of pain, oh mistress of chaos? He called playfully, though his voice held no doubt that he was completely serious. I would gladly feel your talons rend my own flesh as I claim you! Yufa gulped, staggering against the cavern walls as the sheer force of her dragon’s will pressed in on her mind. She knew how to get to Akilu’s weyr… it was the getting there part that was difficult. Finally, she entered the weyr and blanched as he own brother stood in the room as well as Akilu. She could feel amusement from her partner and already she could feel the wind swirling around her as her other half raced through the air.

Sithorath had watched the beginnings of this flight from the quiet solitude of his ledge. First one flash of green collided with a helpless beast in the pens before launching herself skyward and screaming out her challenge to the males. His tail twitched as he watched her twist through the air only to have his attention stolen by… What was this now? Another little green wanted to rise this day as well? The blind male rumbled low in his throat as he watched her take down a beast before spinning up into the sky and through the clouds with a cry to her own would be chasers. Now things were getting interesting.
He looked on for what felt like minutes when in reality only a few moments had slipped past before deciding he wasn’t going to let this opportunity go to waste. He did enjoy the little greens after all. Flaring his wings the brown dropped from his ledge and quickly drained the beast he landed on of all its blood before launching himself skyward and joining the chase. Ah but who would he actually take more of an interest in and set his sights on? For right now it seemed both greens were neck and neck with each other and on the same path. So for now he settled behind the two fleeing females after casting a quick glance to the crimson chaser before adding his own hearty rumble to the mix, announcing his presence.
Ar’rex had been picking his way through Wing records, getting a tally on who all remained, but more importantly, who was still here that had one of the different colored dragons, when the screeches from outside grabbed his attention. Looking back over his shoulder he witnessed his own companion dropping from his ledge and instantly felt the all too familiar pang of flight lust begin to cloud his mind. “Dammit Sithorath…” He swore under his breath, angrily pushing away from the desk as he stepped out into the halls to find the rider of the rising female that his silly dragon has chosen to chase.

Banemith watched all of this with a curious gaze. He turned to his rider and said to him: Lorendyth and Peniath rise. G'daro was stunned. Was he even thinking of chasing after them? Rise? As in a mating flight? he asked. Banemith nodded. Yes. he replied.
G'daro was helpless. He didn't know what to do. But, nature is nature, and he had to obey his dragon's urges to mate. Well, I guess I can't stop you. Go get them and win! he told him, his voice in an urgent tone. Banemith screeched and flew into the sky. G'daro watched as his beloved dragon disappeared into the air. Good luck, Banemith. he thought to himself.
Once in the air, Banemith made his presence known to the two greens. I challenge, my mistresses! he cried. His wings beating, his lungs gulping heaps of air, his heart beating, he followed after the two, hoping that one of them would choose him. He may not win, but he would try his hardest.

What are you doing here Peniath?!? This is my flight, not yours!
Lorendyth! Akilu's mental command kept the Green from entirely veering to the side that the other dragoness was on, instead making Lorendyth drop at the last moment and dive toward the ground. There had been plenty of makes to come, and Lorendyth noticed as one final contender joined. The bronze did not say anything, he just settled in behind the other chasers, Coziryth beating his wings in steady downstrokes.
Why such a large creature would come after two greens was beyond the dragoness, but he was another toy for Lorendyth to play with. Preoccupied with her main contender however, the dark dragoness hissed and suddenly corkscrewed around and leveled out lower below Peniath. It would be so simple to ascend up to her and claw her underside. The Green could already taste the other dragon's blood on her tongue.
Lorendyth....please no. Once again it was the small voice of Akilu in her head that cause Lorendyth to cry out and spiral away into the other direction. She would place as much room between herself and the other Green as possible! Her rider fought futilely with her over control but Lorendyth had always been the stronger of the two. There was no way that Akilu had the will in her to entirely tame the dragoness.
Looping between the canopy of a scarce forest, Lorendyth hissed in pleasure. Being as small as she was she had no trouble navigating this sort of terrain. The larger males? Well that would be fun, and only the start. She was only flying now nothing even too hard. Choose boys. You either chase me or her! I will not share.
On the ground Akilu crept away from the riders, confused when Peniath's rider appeared as well. She didn't have the same territorial behavior as her dragon, but so many chasers made her uncomfortable. The fact that Ar'rex, and now S'vrin was here as well only made things worse.

Naaa~ Lorendyth, I wanted to fly to! Is this not such fun! Peniath twisted away playfully, giving the darker green some space. I wanted to feel the rush of such a battle as this! I wanted it so much! She dipped, crooning playfully as a garnet appeared, though he seemed to give her no attention. Phooey! She didn’t want to lose to Lorendyth! She wanted to play on equal ground! The addition of a rather handsome brown and bronze didn’t go unnoticed, though the sudden repositioning of Lorendyth worried her slightly. She squeaked down at the other green, barreling in the other direction to put space between them. However, unlike Lorendyth, Peniath was fine sharing her suitors for the time being, and though there was distance between the two, Peniath followed a similar path as Lorendyth, albeit much higher.
Oh Sithorath, aren’t you such a strong brown! What would it be like, I wonder, to entwine with you? She called to the brown as her wings beat furiously, gaining height. Where Lorendyth wanted to give her suitors trouble, Peniath only wanted to feel the joys of rising through the air with them. Cozyrith, Cozyrith. You are so large and intimidating! Will you show me gentle kindness if I let you win?
P-Peniath… U’wa tried uselessly to remind his green that two of the chasers were, in fact, their mortal enemies and the reason they were joining with the rebellion. The green was too caught up in the air to pay any attention to him though. He gulped and looked about the room sheepishly as a few of the riders began showing up. Banemith? Oh, Banemith don’t you look stunning! Were we meant to be perhaps? Spiralling higher and higher, the green swerved about, not so much to confuse her chasers, but more to show off her own body and hide. Look at how she gleamed! Wasn’t she as pretty as Lorendyth? Screeching with primal lust, Peniath tucked her wings and dove back towards the forest. Would those who wanted to chase her be able to keep up with her speed?
Braymoth rumbled in amusement as Lorendyth showed just how territorial and intimidating she could be. Oh what a glorious force she could be. His voice slithered into her mind, much like a tunnelsnake. Really, my Mistress of Chaos. Why waste your time with such a lowly green when you have chasers to tease and taunt? He kept himself at a middling height, above Lorendyth but below Peniath, his eyes darting behind to size up his competitors. He wasn’t exactly pleased at those he saw… would those browns be swifter than him? Would that bronze last longer?
Much like Lorendyth, Braymoth wasn’t exactly the sharing type, and as much as he didn’t want to bring about bloodshed… well he wouldn’t mind sinking his claws into those mutant hating fools. He dove down, following Lorendyth as best he could through the forest, though he had to give way now and then and fly above. He may not have been the largest dragon around but some of those spots were tricky to navigate. He was back into the canopy when a decent opening came, rumbling at Lorendyth and his competitors alike.
Yufa gulped at the strong possessive feelings she was getting from her garnet, and she automatically looked to Akilu with that same possessive glance. A light draconic growl starting deep in her throat at the other gathering riders.

Banemith chased after the two greens, his wings beating furiously to gain height. He had to choose between the darker green, or the lighter green. His choice came when the lighter green called to him, saying that he looked stunning. His eyes swirling with purple, he followed her, leaving his sister behind. Higher and higher she rose, harder and harder he tried, he would not stop until someone had claimed her.
Meanwhile, G'daro stood there with all the other riders whose dragons were participating in the flights. He was worried that his dragon would not catch up to either one of them. Then he saw his dragon chase the lighter green as she rose higher and higher. He clenched his fists in worry, would he be able to catch her?
Up in the air, Banemith watched as the lighter green dove towards the forests. He tucked his wings tightly to his body and dove after her. He sped downwards in a lightning speed until he was right behind her. Peniath, my love, you are stunning in looks and flight! he cried, his voice echoing into everyone's minds. Would she make the right choice and choose him?

Sithorath swerved slightly as a few more contenders joined the fray. The blind male paid them little mind though and instead kept his eye on the swirling shades of emerald dancing just up ahead. Oh but there were still two and alas he could not try for them both. A decision had to be made and fast. Would he follow the sweet words of Peniath or dare to try and win over the sharp tongue of Lorendyth? The two finally split their paths and darted away from each other and their followers and Sithorath roared his frustration. He had to decide, and now, before he lost too much time along with any hope of winning.
In the end he chose to follow Lorendyth and as she dove into the treetops so did he blindly follow. It wasn’t an easy task but he still gave it all he got, twisting through the trees as branches and leaves whipped at his hide, and only breaking back above the tree tops when it became impossible to move forward. But would it be enough? Would she see that he was giving it his all and despite his size he dared to follow her?
Ar’rex uttered a low growl as his dragon finally set his sights on which of the two he would chase and, in turn, Rex aimed his gaze in Akilu’s directions. He took one step towards the girl, who danced green in his vision, as his hands flexed with his dragons eagerness at his sides.

Follow close my two Princes!
Lorendyth spiraled away from the two males as they started to close in, darting through the trees and piercing up again high into the sky. She was not going to be caught yet, there just was no way! Hissing as she looked back over one win, the Green decided to finally get to testing these two males. Up and over she went, flipping and corkscrewing in various patterns that had no rhym or rhythm. She just simply danced with the wind, letting her wings take her higher and higher.
They would follow and they would win, or they would fall behind and they would lose. She didn't care, one would be her victor though, and part of her always kept and eye on him. It had always been the Garnet she supposed since the beginning, no perhaps since her hatching. They were two minds that complimented each other in the most primal and wonderfully manipulative ways. She egged him on, sending sweet tendrils of thought to Braymoth's mind and almost entirely ignoring Sithorath.
Lorendyth was not going to allow an enemy of the rebellion to catch her, and she certainly wasn't a kind Green. No, she would make him pay for what His had done to them all. Hissing a cry, Lorendyth dropped her wings and plummeted down past Sithorath, snapping her wings open and twisting away from him at the last moment, letting her tail snap against his skin. Chase someone you can handle Sithorath!
With that she flung herself into Braymoth's wings, entangling her body with his and sinking her claws gently into his muscles while staring into his eyes with a violently maroon and violet gaze. On the ground, Akilu darted away from Ar'rex and wound herself around Yufa, hissing despite her better and more poised personality, curling herself around the other rider's body and pulling her toward the bed. "Get. Out." She eyed the other chasers and the intruding Green, giving another low hiss.

Braymoth growled as a second male, the brown Sithorath dared to compete against him for Lorendyth. What a fool he was if he believed Braymoth would simply hand her over. He couldn’t just attack the brown here though; he risked losing Lorendyth if he did so. Instead he would simply have to outfly the older male. He roared at Lorendyth, his wordless cry saying all that needed to be said. He would follow, and he would win.
His wings beat furiously as he tried to rise after her, each downstroke egged on by the deliciously sweet thoughts he could hear from his prize. He wondered briefly, in the back of his mind, if Sithorath was getting the same treatment. Well, if he was, Braymoth couldn’t allow that for much longer. Luckily, Lorendyth seemed to feel the same way, as she suddenly tucked in her wings and dropped. Braymoth’s larger size made a quick maneuver like that much harder, and it was a moment before he was diving down as well, hissing in pleasure as she rejected Sithorath. He prepped himself to catch her, though she made it easy by throwing herself into his grasp.
A scream ripped from his throat as he claws sunk into his flesh, a combination of pain and pleasure, though the pain was not terrible; in fact it only made him want to twine with her even more. His head shot out and teeth sunk into the soft flesh of her shoulder as he twisted around her, positive the bite would be deep enough to leave a rather permanent mark. You are Mine now! His voice whispered.
Yufa wrapped her arms around Akilu, a hiss of her own joining the greenrider’s as she allowed herself to be led to the bed. Her eyes darted out and met the other riders angrily as she too willed them all away before turning back to claim her prize.
A flash of brown to her side pleased Peniath to no end, as did the kind compliments Banemith paid her. [ Banemith oh Banemith. Your words pull my heart! But I want a male who can keep up! Prove yourself to me Banemith, my sweet! She called to him before looking back at the other suitors.
Peniath squawked as one of the browns ignored her in favour of that nasty Lorendyth. Didn’t he know she was sweeter? Better? Well fine! If he was going to be like that then she didn’t want him anyway! Peniath spread her wings, cutting off her dive with a quick swerve before beginning a rising spiral of her own. Her test was quite simple, she just wanted someone who could make her happy! Someone sweet and caring and loveable who wouldn’t scare her in the morning.
She twisted, changing her direction entirely to throw off the few remaining suitors. Cozyrith had remained entirely too quiet during her flight; how did he expect to win her heart if he didn’t try? There was another swift change in direction as she continued to rise, suddenly feeling as if she needed to be as high as possible. At the peak of her climb, with a final look back at those that followed, she made her decision and tucked her wings.
She fell, spiraling, towards the brown who had woo’d her so well. Banemith! It is you I want to twine with! I want it so very much! Catch me!
U’wa jumped back at the vicious tone of Akilu’s hiss, not at all sure of what he was supposed to do now. He visibly shook, eying the men and women in the room, completely terrified, though at the same time he lusted for each of them. His scared, wandering eyes fell on G’daro as he felt Peniath choose, and before he could think another thought he had grabbed hold of the brownrider’s hand and was trying to usher him into the neighbouring room. A sudden strange, foreign need in the pit of his stomach forced the fear away as he ran to the other room, whispering G’daro’s name with each step.

Banemith had climbed so high that he was the only one chasing the lovely green. He looked back and saw that every other dragon was chasing his sister. Then, as his head turned around, he saw her dive to him. She wanted him! He caught her and together they spiraled. He nuzzled his head along her neck as they fell. My love. was all he had to say.
G'daro had watched him from when he took off to this, the green's choice. Suddenly he was taken away by the green's rider, taking him to another room. G'daro knew that it was customary that the winner mated with the rider of the dragon in flight, but he never had done it before. With a sigh, he entered the room.
