D’tri sighed as he sat on the beach and stared in the general direction of Trelis. He couldn’t help but wish he were able to attend the gather just as he used to before he joined the Rebellion. But he didn’t want to take the chance of getting caught and causing trouble for the Rebellion, so he just sat there and stared. You mustn't worry so much D'tri, I am sure that Aridani woman is doing just fine taking care of herself. Even though he knew his topaz dragon was trying to be encouraging, he couldn’t help but feel worse about leaving the woman behind. I wonder if she would consider coming to live here Chahaturth. That thought had been playing around in his head ever since the day he had seen her on this very beach with Eiko and her Obsidian.
I am no ferry Mine, so if she wants to come back she will have to find her own way here. Chahaturth snorted at her rider as she spoke, even though she knew he didn’t expect her to carry Aridani all the way to the Rebellion. I know that Chaha, but it doesn’t matter, I have no way of contacting her and asking her. He played with the necklace that she had given him so long ago, and wished things could be that simple once again. He knew better though, and unless Ar’rex and S’vrin disappeared, there was no way him or any of the other Rebellion riders wouldn’t be safe going anywhere near Trelis. So unless he found a miracle, he didn’t think there was a way he would ever be reunited with the woman that held his heart. So there he sat, staring out across the water, hoping for a miracle.

Harmony chirped as she flew through the air lazily, spending more time gliding with the breeze than anything else. Hers followed somewhere behind, taking in the view of the ocean; a past time she did more frequently ever since her run in with the topazrider. The sapphire flit noticed a familiar sight and spiralled down, chirping curiously at D'tri as she landed on a nearby rock. She knew him!
Aridani paused in her steps as her beloved flitter sent her an image of an all-too-familiar man. He was back? Just around the bend? She picked up her pace, even going so far as to lfit her skirts to allow her to move faster. Rounding the bend, she stopped and smiled as he came into view. It really was him. Harmony cheeped and took off, flying over to land on Ari's shoulder and nuzzle into her cheek. With a grin, Ari gave D'tri a small wave.

D’tri turned his head and watched as a familiar looking firelizard land on a nearby rock. Chahaturth sniffed the blue firelizard curiously, and snorted at her once before laying her head on her fore-paws and closing her large swirling eyes. hello there Harmony, what are you doing here? Where is Aridani? He pushed himself off of Chahaturth’s side and leaned forward as he spoke to the sapphire firelizard. Surly she wouldn’t leave Aridani behind, and even if she did fly ahead of the woman, surly she wouldn’t be that far behind would she? Those and so many other questions danced around inside of his head as he looked around for the harper that had hold of his heart. He watched the firelizard take off and followed the blue female with his eyes, hoping that she would lead him to Aridani.
D’tri stood and waved at Aridani when she came into view. He jogged towards her, so many emotions welling up inside of him he couldn’t think straight. One thought glowed brighter than all the others inside of his mind, the thought of holding Aridani in his arms and never letting her go again. He didn’t care that he had left his dragon and firelizard behind on the beach, they could easily find him if they needed him. But as far as he knew, they were both content with resting where they were. I missed you so much Aridani! His voice was choked as he fought to hold back the tears that threatened to spill from his eyes. He didn’t want her to see him cry, he wanted her to believe that he was as strong now as he was when they had first met so long ago in Trelis.

D'tri! She wanted to call to him, but once again her voicelessness made it impossible. Instead she jogged to meet him, not even stopping as he got close. No, Ari threw herself at the man in the hopes of giving him a hug. She gave Harmony the instruction to pass on a feeling of loneliness to D'tri. After running into the little girl Talian at the gather, Ari had put her heart and soul into learning how to truly express herself through Harmony, and the sapphire flit was too happy to help Hers.
She stopped then, a look of worry in hers eyes as she truly looked at him. Was something wrong with him? She didn't realize he was holding back tears, all she knew wasn't he didn't look quite right.

D’tri smiled and wrapped his arms around Aridani as she threw herself into his arms and hugged her as close to his body as he possibly could. He didn’t want to let her go, ever! He loosened his grip on her just enough for her to pull away from him enough for him to look into her face when he got the feeling of loneliness from Harmony. I’m so sorry Aridani. I never wanted to make you feel this way. He set her down carefully onto her own two feet after giving her another quick squeeze and then gently ran the tips of his fingers down the side of her cheek. As much as he hated being so far apart from her, he cherished the time that they did get to spend together. His smile was one of pure, delightful happiness as he gazed into her deep, blue-green eyes. Oh how he just wanted to stand there staring into her eyes.
But D’tri knew that he had better make the most of the time they had together. He didn’t know what might happen, and so he wanted to do everything he possibly could with her while he had the chance. Don’t worry Aridani, the tears are tears of joy. I’m just glad to have you back in my arms again. His smile was broad and so full of joy it seemed as though it might burst with the sheer volume of happiness that radiated out from that single spot on his face. He didn’t want her to worry about him when they had to be apart, but he knew better than to send Iona back to Trelis with a message for her. The gold would stand out like a sore thumb. How can you forget something as bright as a gold firelizard, and he didn’t want to put Harmony in danger. He knew that not only would Aridani try to kill him, but so would Iona if anything happened to the little Sapphire.

Ari wished she could tell him it wasn't his fault. He had a cause to fight for, people and dragons to protect. She was just a mute harper, it no way connected to the world of the dragonriders. All she had to worry about was what song to play and what isntrument to do it with. She blushed at the tenderness of his touch, and smiled back at him. Harmony did her part, sending D'tri feelings of warmth and happiness with a chirp.
She couldn't help but chuckle as D'tri explained himself and she was beginning to wonder how much bigger his smile would get before his face exploded. Her blush deepended the more he said and she pressed a little closer to him. She wished, sometimes, that she had a dragon of her own to whisk her away and take her to D'tri. Her son though... he was too important to her to simply leave behind... and how could she take a child away from the safety of the Weyr.

D’tri chuckled at the little sapphire firelizard as he got the feelings of warmth and happiness from her with her little chirp. She really was a very sweet firelizard, and he was glad that she had impressed Aridani for she was the sweetest woman he knew. If only he knew how to bring her to him without putting anyone in danger, but he couldn’t think of anything short of hiring someone to whisk her away to the Rebellion’s Main Camp in the middle of the night. But for some reason he didn’t think that would go over very well with Aridani.
(((OOC: Sorry, couldn't think of anything else. )))
