Simiia gave a sigh. The eggs she had collected should be ready to hatch by the end of the gather... She hoped she could get a fair mark for them. She was positive that the clutch held a gold or at least a topaz... maybe an obsidian... and then... there were the three eggs of her greens and the huntyre eggs. tHose she didn't have as much experience with. She was a flitter trainer and trader, not a huntyre trainer or breeder or... whatever.
She sighed. That was just her luck. The clutches, though, were good... She really needed the profits from this sale... She rather hoped that she could have a good dress for this gather. Not that she really had one. Not a nice one anymore... What little she had right now was what she could carry and what her dog could help her carry.
That's right. Max had a pack as well, tied onto her back and she seemed happy enough to walk along with her girl to the Hold... She hoped that she would be one step closer to the gather. Traveling around and going gather to gather... not exactly how she had envisioned her life. But at least she got to travel. See the world. The diversity.
She didn't understand why some hated the mutations and others didn't. They were all dragons and all dragon riders. She sighed. Whatever the case... As long as the flitter she was selling were safe and had good homes, regardless of color.... she would be happy. But the moment someone tried to harm them... she would do her best to save the poor young one. They were her family. These firelizards and her dog. Max stopped and sniffed at the air... And Kal, Barly, Laina, Coreena, and Arro were all in the air. Someone was nearby. Of course, they were coming close to a hold. So there were bound to be people... but everyone was excited about the people coming closer or that they were approaching.
Laina, of course, was trying to command everyone. The joys of having so may pets...

I still don't understand why we have to cart the brat around S'vrin. It's not my job to be a ferry, I'm a King for Faranth's sake!
The Bronze hissed irritably and lashed his tail as he landed, a drudge jumped out of the way hastily and ran over to the other side where S'vrin was helping Miyaka to slide off the King's shoulder. "Don't mind him, he's just annoyed." The bronzerider shook his head and sighed as the drudge nodded and raced back into the Hold. "Why are we here again?" He looked at the white haired healer who had brushed off her pants and tunic with a lazy hand. She snorted, rolling her eyes and walking through the large double doors that was the main entrance.
"Are you that forgetful S'vrin that you can't even remember why we came?" The bronzerider gritted his teeth, biting back a retort. Sometimes he had to agree with his dragon in that she was annoying. However, there was a reason that he kept the candidate around. Yes, and I've searched those memories and I still don't see how they are alike. The rider scratched Coziryth's eye-ridges absentmindedly and gave a melancholy sigh. You didn't know her, and perhaps I can't remember, but there's something there that is alike I suppose.
"Hey, did you hear me?" Miyaka put a hand on her hip, looking at her board again to check the supplies they needed to take for the stores back at the Weyr. They were out of a few things and low on others and with Threadfall due in another sevenday or two they'd need it. S'vrin shook his head, knowing better than to just ignore the girl. That would be a one way ticket to a fortnight of bed rest and puking over a bin. Grimancing at the thought he took the glaring look that the candidate gave him and followed her further into the Hold.
They came back out a candlemark later with an arm and a bag full of supplies and more ordered to be taken to the Weyr within the next few days. "Alright, let's get back already. The Gather's probably almost ready for lunch and I'm hungry." S'vrin pushed the need for food to the back of his mind though as a figure caught his eye followed by some firelizards and a canine. It can't be....but she looks so much like her. Miyaka stopped as she realized S'vrin had stayed in his place, a questioning glance thrown his way and then a narrowed one at the object of his attention.
"What?" She poked the bronzerider's arm, pinching it when she didn't get a response. S'vrin couldn't say anything though; the short brown hair, the height and build, it looked so much like her....like his sister, and yet he knew it couldn't be. She was dead. Moving toward her, he cleared his throat. "Do you need some help with those?"

The flitts were getting to be a bit of a handful by this point. "Laina! Calm down! Arro... Please!" She sighed and ran a hand through her short brown hair, causing it to fall in a slight mess around her face and her ears.
Max had stopped stock still and was looking in the direction of someone who ahd apparently spoken to her. She recovered rather quickly. "Oh... um... Sure! I would greatly appreciate the help! Um... can you tell me the quickest way to get to the Weyr from here, of course the first answer is likely a-dragonback, but unless you know a rider willing to take myself and Max, I'm fairly certain I'll be walking by this point." She didn't expect this bronzerider to ferry herself, Max, or her luggage to the Weyr. That was asking too much of a king like the one he likely road. Yes. She did understand what the shoulder knots meant.
Simiia took a deep breath and let it out in a slight sigh, rubbing the back of her head as she thought for a moment, looking down at Max who was looking S'vrin over as he approached... though Simiia and her little family had walked towards him as well. Though she did not honestly feel the same way he did as she didn't have the same association. She didn't know that she looked like his sister or anything of that sort. She didn't know what association he had with her. what had prompted him to ask, she didn't know. But it was a nice gesture. She couldn't help but think he seemed like a good man... a very kind person... or something like that.
She smiled warmly at him and at Miyaka.. though the white haired girl was a bit... disconcerting, in all honesty.

S'vrin, this isn't a good idea...S'vrin....S'VRIN! Why won't he sharding listen to me...
It was true, the bronzerider was ignoring the dragon as best he could, instead reaching for any load he could take to help the girl. "Nonsense, I'll take you myself. Miyaka can certainly share the seat with another and Coziryth is big enough to take multiple people. Max will just have to do with being carried via dragon claw, and we'll fly there instead of between to take care of the eggs." He nodded to himself, happy that he was in control of something again. It had taken a lot from him lately to constantly be fighting those he worked with.
Miyaka shook her head, a wry smile playing at the edges of her lips as she watched the bronzerider and the girl. "So, what brings you to our neck of the woods?" Her voice was bored, mostly just there to fill the silence that her space had provided before. Was this girl a candidate or a simple passerby? If it were the former then she would have to deal with her accordingly, after all Miyaka couldn't have anyone controlling her toy. She walked over to where the others were, looking at the canine and the fair. "Wow...you just like to keep a whole farm with you don't you know?"
S'vrin grittted his teeth at Miyaka's response, his look quick but direct. If she doesn't keep her mouth shut I'll do it for her. The fact that the healer apprentice just continued to ignore him didn't help either. Why did he like her so much, was she really like Sahille? Well, it was your sister. The rider took a moment to try and figure out the meaning behind that but ended up only giving himself a headache.

"Oh... thank you, sir." She bowed to him slightly. "Thank you so very much and I hope you'll convey my gratitude to your dragon too!" she smiled warmly at S'vrin. She was so surprised as he took her bags from her. She was so very grateful. She hadn't met a kinder rider. At least she didn't think she ever had.
Something about Miyaka... she didn't like. She did her best to put on a real and genuine smile. "Oh... I'm just a trader. I always make my way to all the Gathers. I have to to make a living. It'd be nice to stay somewhere for awhile, but I think that's a long way off," she smiled and ran a hand through her hair. Oh no... something about Miyaka set off internal alarms. And she was not about to let her know that yet... Not til she figured her out. "Actually. This is my family. Don't really have another one." She gently scratched Barly's eyeridges as he hissed and flared his wings at the girl. He didn't like her. She was cruel. His eyes swirled red. Sim just laughed softly and tried to soothe him and thus the entire fair. "Don't worry about him... he just doesn't take kindly to certain tones of voice." Her smile came dangerously close to a smirk. Little did Miyaka know that she wouldn't dream of controlling S'vrin. She wasn't that kind of person. Not like Miyaka.
"Should we get going, you two? You going to be alright, Max," she asked the canine, patting her stomach and causing the dog to jump up on her so she could affectionately scratch her ears. "Alright... I think everyone is ready to get loaded up... Um... You know what, none of us have introduced ourselves. I'm Simiia, Flitter trainer and trader. It's nice to meet you both." She was able to size them up pretty readily... One was a Bronzerder and Wingleader... the other a healer. Either an Apprentice or Journeyman... And she was easily made jealous of what she likely believed to be her Bronzerider. There was just one problem. Sim didn't care what she thought or if she took issue with her and S'vrin getting along.
Of course... Sim was very good at acting confident.

S'vrin nodded his head when he saw it appropriate as she explained her origins and reasons for coming to the Hold. It made sense, there were always Traders and Holders alike that flocked to The Island. Smiling, and actually smiling not just pretending to in a predatory fashion, S'vrin helped her up by extending a hand and telling Coziryth to lower his body. "My name is S'vrin, and that is Bronze Coziryth. Say hello why don't you hmmr?"
He raised an eye brow at the dragon as the Bronze snorted, disliking being used as a ferry entirely. If he thought taking Miyaka was bad this was terrible, however he knew better than to make His upset. Especially since this one was so similar to His clutchmate, at least in S'vrin's mind. She may be a decent enough candidate too. NO! ...no. S'vrin's mental outburst amused the Bronze, but he kept his thoughts secret for now instead turning his head around to look at the girl.
Yes, it is...nice to meet you. The King's voice rumbled slowly, drawling on before cutting off abruptly and nudging Miyaka to say something as well with the tip of his snout. The candidate flicked the poking appendage, narrowing her eyes at the dragon before looking back at the trader and S'vrin. "Miyaka. Pleasure." Except no such thing was in her voice. If anything she was more interested in one of the eggs. Having a firelizard to help her in her studies would be interesting, quite interesting. Not to mention it would help in the infirmaries when she needed supplies.
Grabbing onto Coziryth's saddle though, Miyaka stayed silent and vaulted up onto the King's neck, settling in further back than she normally would have. "Coming?" Her eye brow arched as she looked down on the girl and rider. Yes, the sooner we leave the sooner we will get there since betweeing is not an option. "Max here will have to stay still while Coziryth picks him up. We'll make frequent stops so that the canine can walk around and not be carried the entire time. It'll take about a candlemark that way, but better than half a candlemark with a skittish animal."

"He is a wonderful king. One of the most Impressive I have ever seen," she said smiling at the big bronze. "It is good to meet you too Coziryth. And thank you again S'vrin I am so very glad to have met you. And yes, indeed. It is a pleasure, Miyaka," she said, though her tone was much more genuine. Much, much more genuine.
Simiia looked up at the large bronze, "Coziryth, would you mind so terribly if I were to scratch your eyeridges?" she asked a bit sheepishly. She really wanted to thank him for taking her. "Just a small gesture of thanks for taking me to the weyr and being willing to fly all the way instead of going between..." she said sheepishly, turning slightly red. A king like him shouldn't be made to ferry people around back and forth.
Sim turned to Max. "Max stay. Hold." She said, making hand motions and watching as the dog purposefully went rigid. "She'll be good. And I'm sure she will greatly appreciate the stops." She smiled again. Simiia much rather ignore Miyaka. Which she very well did as she waited for the rider to go first. She might need a little help getting up after all... IT wasn't like she road a dragon on a regular basis or was even around them that often.

S'vrin did help the girl up as it turned out, and they did make a few stops to rest their muscles and let the canine free from Coziryth's grip. Every time the bronzerider had to fight with the dragon to hook up with the wares again and do it all over. It took two candlemarks to get there, a ride that would have lasted only three seconds between, but S'vrin was fine with that. He waited for Coziryth to let the canine down first then let his shoulder fall to allow the passengers to get off. He hissed at His since the man was the last of them to leave and the rider flicked the dragon on the nose in response.
Be good. "So, where do you need to head to Miss?" He took hold of one of the crates, eying Miyaka as she huffed and took her few bags of supplies toward the infirmary. "Forget about her, she's....odd." He let the words slip out, not considering them. The huntyres were chirping above, a sound that grated against his ears, but even that didn't get to him today. "So, is it your first time at Trelis?"
Ooc: Sorry it's so late/short. >.< No muse right now since Coz's dead technically.
