All dragons, whers, and firelizards have the same colors and mutations. There are a few other colors that you may see floating around, these are from the original Trelis site and are planned to come back in the future. However, at this time; Opals, Epidotes, Lazulis, Citrines, Jades, Sapphires, and Rubies are all seen as flukes and have not been hatched in the past four turns. The following information may change with each individual, but it is meant as a generalization for the color.
Dragons on this site do not choose their riders based on sexuality. Bronzes and golds can go to homosexual or whatever individuals as easily as heterosexuals, and the same goes for the other colors.
Pixels were colored by Zirin using Khiitan's base.

They are the largest dragon in the Weyr, and as such have a good amount of bulk. Often though, Golds are well proportioned so that they still appear to be lithe and beautiful. Golds also always hold themselves regally and with pride.
| [atrb=bgcolor, FFFF99]Personality- | Demanding and vain, to motherly and regal.
Golds are the Queens of the Weyr and they let everyone else know it. Sometimes this is through aggression, but even just the regal demeanor of a Gold can prove their place. Queens are not known to be patient, though some are more motherly and caring than others. It's not a good idea to make a Gold angry with you--it may just be the last thing you do. Also, all dragons listen to the Queens of the Weyr, especially the Senior Queen. It is not something they can resist.

Clutching Rises at 3 turns approximately, clutches 8-20 eggs usually.

Smaller than Golds, but larger than any other color, Topaz dragons are definitely the Princesses of the Weyr. Though they are large, the females somehow prove to be slender and beautiful, though not as fragile looking as their Obsidian sisters. In fact, out of any clutcher, Topaz dragons tend to be one of the bulkiest due to strong muscles. They have broad wings like a hawk as well, and though not the most agile of the dragons, they make up for it with stamina and speed.
| [atrb=bgcolor, FFAC59]Personality- | Prideful and vain to monopolizing and deviant, they always have a magnetic personality.
Topaz dragons are first and foremost the Queens of the Weyr...or at least in their minds they are. Unlike the Obsidians that take their job with a quiet pride, the Topaz dragons are a loud and in-your-face color. They are all demanding and love to have attention on them at all times. In reality, this actually isn't hard to accomplish. Besides having striking hides, Topaz dragons also are very magnetic in personality. You can't help but be drawn to them.
| [atrb=bgcolor, FFAC59]Tidbits- | Impression Males - 70%, Females 30%
Clutching Rises at two turns approximately, clutches 4-10 eggs. Can clutch up to Topaz, does not include Obsidian.
Size 43-48 Feet Feet (8.6 - 9.6 Feet at hatching)

[atrb=width,100%,true][atrb=cellPadding,4,true][atrb=colspan,5] | [atrb=bgcolor, 867886]Appearance- | Generally some mixture of dark silvers and black, Obsidians can also have a whitish silver in their hide. They always have markings in either cyan, blue, purple or green as well. Besides their shadowy hides though, Obsidians are slender and lithe, with an almost fragile appearance in their limbs and heads. Much better at agility and acrobatics than Topaz or Golds, they lack some of the stamina of the other clutchers. This is partially because their wings are long and angled like a falcon's instead of a hawk's.
| [atrb=bgcolor, 867886]Personality- | Strategic and elitist to observant and poised, they are the opposites of Topaz dragons; people tend to have difficulty concentrating on them.
Obsidian dragons tend to be prideful, but in a quiet way. They will hold their head up and be almost elitist in appearance, and yet are incredibly motherly toward others. Another thing that Obsidians often have in their personality is a love for being subtle. They are patient creatures unlike Topaz and Gold dragons, and will wait till just the right moment to make their move. One thing found in all Obsidians is that unlike their bright sisters, they do not draw attention; instead they repel it. An Obsidian, despite her large size, can easily blend into the shadows and make a person forget they are around.

They often range from a light golden bronze to reddish bronzes, but also can come in a variety of brown or green tinges. Like with golds, Bronze dragons have a metallic sheen to their hides. These big boys are just that: big. Bulky and broad, they have noticeable, defined muscles and generally carry themselves with pride and a little arrogance.
| [atrb=bgcolor, 8E8E38]Personality- | Regal and aggressive to flirtatious and haughty.
Bronze dragons are the Kings of the Weyr. Like with the Golds, they stereotypically have a regal personality. Though this usually means they are just and fair, like with some rulers, Bronzes can be aggressive and a bit evil, even. This is much less common though. Generally they are the ones to keep order when the Golds are away. Many dragons will listen to Bronzes, but not all, and especially not Queens.

[atrb=width,100%,true][atrb=cellPadding,4,true][atrb=colspan,5] | [atrb=width,100%,true][atrb=cellPadding,4,true][atrb=colspan,5] | [atrb=bgcolor, FF3333]Appearance- | Garnets can be a light ruby red to a dark color that is almost black. Often, they will be mixes of these colors as seen above. Unlike their Brown brothers, they are not bulky. Instead, they are deadly creatures that are very fast and slim despite their larger size. Almost snake-like, Garnets have angled heads and wings, and their tails are a bit longer than most dragons'. On top of their red hides and vicious appearance, Garnets often will have a bit of red and/or yellow in their eyes. Also, any scars they obtain, they take great pride in.
| [atrb=bgcolor, FF3333]Personality- | Dominant and aggressive to calculating and bloodthirsty.
Garnets are incredibly aggressive and dominant males. No one, not even a Bronze would want to get on a Garnet's bad side. They do not have any sense of justice, and will stop at nothing to harm someone once they have sighted a target. Because of this, these males are the hardest dragon to train. Their riders have to be able to reign in their bonded, though even then the dragon will often turn their violent attention to their rider. It's not uncommon for a Garnet, especially during its dragonet years, to bite at their rider. Often, this is gentle and to make a point. As they get older, their biting turns to swatting with their tails so that their rider won't get too hurt.
| [atrb=bgcolor, FF3333]Tidbits- | Impression Males - 60%, Females - 40%
Special Due to their aggressive natures, Garnets tend to test potential candidates to find one who can prove their worth. It is rare to see someone impress a garnet without obtaining an injury of some degree.
Chasing Chases at one turn, chases any female (including smaller Golds).
Size 33 - 40 Feet (6.6 - 8 Feet at hatching)

[atrb=width,100%,true][atrb=cellPadding,4,true][atrb=colspan,5] | [atrb=bgcolor, A17D58]Appearance- | Browns lack the same luster of their metallic siblings, however they do still have a bit of shining hue. Ranging from tan or cream browns, they also can be mocha, reddish, or grayish brown in color. They show bulk more than even their lither Bronze siblings. Very much like draft horses, they are sturdy and sometimes even a bit rounded or boxy.
| [atrb=bgcolor, A17D58]Personality- | Laid back and diligent to lazy and even aggressive.
Browns are the workhorses of the Weyr. Calm and stable, browns are more intelligent than their smaller blue and green siblings. They are generally a settling source of comfort within Weyrs, and even play moderator at times. Laid back, some Browns can even be called lazy. Others however, are diligent and hard workers.

Like most colored dragons, Greens may have multiple shades of green on their hides and the hues can often include faint tints of yellow-greens or blue-greens. These ladies are wicked fast and can easily maneuver in difficult positions. They are lacking in stamina due to their small, whip-like bodies.
| [atrb=bgcolor, 66A566]Personality- | Flirtatious and narrow-minded to gentle and shy.
Stereotypically, greens are incredibly flirtatious, flighty individuals. They often have the energy to accomplish multiple tasks, but only the attention to do a few. Greens are pretty versatile creatures, and if you can keep them on track they can accomplish almost any task given to them. Too many tasks or too much work given at a time may cause the green to lose interest in the task at hand. Greens are generally very empathetic, making them excellent search riders, and are often protective of the things they like. The period of time before rising often causes greens to become short-tempered, aggressive or more flirty; it all depends on the green.

[atrb=width,100%,true][atrb=cellPadding,4,true][atrb=colspan,5] | [atrb=bgcolor, B390C4]Appearance- | Named after the gemstone that shares their colour, amethyst dragons come in all manner of purples, ranging from the lighter pink-purples to red-purples to true dark purples. Like all chromatic, their hides are shiny, but lack the metallic look of kings and queens. Amethysts have a rather broad size range. They can be as small, or even smaller, than some whites, but can also rival some greens in size. Like many of the smaller colours, amethysts are lithe and agile with high maneuverability but low stamina.
| [atrb=bgcolor, B390C4]Personality- | Playful and adventure-seeking to dimwitted and forgetful.
Stereotypically, amethysts are playful, sweet darlings that love nothing more than having a fun adventure or playing a game. Their memory spans are among the shortest of all dragons, which likely lends to this playful attitude. The children of the Weyr, amethysts are the dragons to look for if you need some cheering up.
| [atrb=bgcolor, B390C4]Tidbits- | Impression Male or Female - 50/50
Clutching Amethysts rise at one turn and clutch one egg after their first or second flight. After that every three to four flights has a 50/50 chance of clutching.

Able to flame longer than their Green sisters, they have broad wings like a hawk's so that they can be stable during flight. Blues are also known for stamina more than acrobatic agility. However, there are smaller blues that go away from this stereotype. In terms of hide coloring, blues often are a vast array of shades and tints. They can be anywhere from soft sky blue, to the dark green blue of the ocean, to a deep plum blue. Many times, these dragons will even have a few different blues in their hide.
| [atrb=bgcolor, 7993BB]Personality- | Stable and Gentle-hearted to Intelligent and Prideful.
Stereotypically, Blues are stable in both presence and mind. They are a calming and influential presence for their rider. Blues are less intelligent than their Brown siblings, though they are more capable of staying on one task than their Green sisters. Blues work hard normally, though some are more lazy or even mean.

[atrb=width,100%,true][atrb=cellPadding,4,true][atrb=colspan,5] | [atrb=bgcolor, 595959]Appearance- | Ebonies are the smallest of all male dragons. Their hides, much like obsidians, can range from a medium grey to a dark, dark black. Unlike most dragons, their hides tend to lack the shine and brilliance of both metallics AND chromatics. They tend to have a matted look and are quite dull in appearance.
| [atrb=bgcolor, 595959]Personality- | Shy and mysterious to pacifist and dreamer.
Ebony dragons are stereotypically shy and mysterious creatures. They are often sweet, longing dragons that are known to dream big and often space out. Some fine tune these dreams and desires into ambitions, but really they are just children looking for friends and new experiences. They are often secretive though, and absolutely abhor violence.

[atrb=width,100%,true][atrb=cellPadding,4,true][atrb=colspan,5] | [atrb=bgcolor, E6E6E6]Appearance- | White dragons are not always only white. Often times, they have pale shades of other colors on their hides. You will never see a white with bright, obvious markings. Their hides have a bit of a shiny look to them like most chromatic dragons, though it lacks the metallic sheen of the large Gold and Bronze dragons. Being the smallest of the colors, they are still capable of flight, but their stamina is even less than that of greens. Their small forms make these dragons quick and agile in the air.
| [atrb=bgcolor, E6E6E6]Personality- | Fun-loving and gentle to prideful and energetic. Always know where and when they are.
Stereotypically, white dragons are generally very kind and fun-loving; however, others are known to be very reasonable and straightforward. Whites are known and cherished for their innate ability to always know when and where they are and their memory retention can rival that of a Gold.
| [atrb=bgcolor, E6E6E6]Tidbits- | Special Whites in this fandom have been seen as males or females. They cannot be both or neither, but because they are not strictly one sex they have their own place in the ranking system. Impression Male or Female - 50/50
Chasing/Rising/Clutching Male - If they feel like it, male whites will generally only chase small females such as amethysts, greens, and other whites due to their low stamina. Female - Female whites may rise once every three turns (if they happen to feel the need) after they rise the first time (between 12-15 months of age). They have a 50/50 chance of clutching..

Mutation Explanation
[atrb=width,100%,true][atrb=cellPadding,4,true][atrb=colspan,5] Gender Mutation | Description: | This is a mutation where the sex of the dragon/wher/flit is opposite that of its normal color. Examples are female blues or male greens. It is most common in lower rankings however, and rarely produces clutching individuals. | Rate of Mutation: | A gender mutation is the second least common of the four mutations.
[atrb=width,100%,true][atrb=cellPadding,4,true][atrb=colspan,5] Chimera Mutation | Description: | This mutation is where the dragon/wher/flit has been hatched with a multi-colored hide. They will only show two colors of the same gender such as Green/Gold or Blue/Brown. | Rate of Mutation: | A chimera mutation is the rarest of all the mutations.
[atrb=width,100%,true][atrb=cellPadding,4,true][atrb=colspan,5] Deaf/Mute/Blind Mutation | Description: | This is a mutation where the bonded is either deaf to all but their rider, cannot speak to anyone but their rider, or is either partially or entirely blind. | Rate of Mutation: | This mutation is about equal in rarity as the Extra or Fewer Appendages mutation.
[atrb=width,100%,true][atrb=cellPadding,4,true][atrb=colspan,5] Extra or Fewer Appendage Mutation | Description: | This is when a bonded has either extra appendages such as a set of smaller, secondary wings, or none at all. It also can be in terms of two tails or none, or appendages such as spikes or extra or fewer arms and legs. | Rate of Mutation: | This mutation, like the deaf/mute/blind mutation, is the most commonly seen because of birth defects.
THESE MUTATIONS ARE HATCHING ONLY, UNLESS STAFF GRANTS PERMISSION FOR A TRANSFER! They are meant to be special, rare little things; this is just an explanation of what might occur and what they are. As such, there might be no more than one naturally occurring mutation every three dragon clutches. Or we might have injury induced mutations in two clutches in a row. Also, some of them might, and probably will, play together.
A Chimera might have a growth or lack of limb, or a creature that is mute or deaf telepathically might have issues with its headknobs. There can also be different, special mutations. Generally these are either related to the ones above, or is the appearance of a color that was hatched at the old site.
You may BUY mutations from the shop, however they are ONLY FOR CANON COLORS. [/blockquote]
