Her legs ached, her chest ached. Yufa couldn’t remember a time she had hurt so much, even still she kept running. Overhead, she could hear the heavy wingbeats of her garnet, though she had long since shut her mind to him, too aware of the thoughts that would run through his mind. Even with him blocked, she could still feel the lingering bloodlust in the garnet, and the dark amusement he had felt as she plunged the dagger through her own father’s flesh.
He had finally found them… the son and daughter who had disgraced him and run from home. Yufa had hoped, if the day ever came that he found them, that she would somehow be able to send him back home. She had never expected him to corner her in the forest though and now… She tripped over a tree root, sending her crashing against the forest floor. Far above, Braymoth bugled down to her, though only to check that she hadn’t gotten herself killed. Soon enough he had spiraled down to land nearby.
It was just a little farther, her destination. A few more steps. She pulled herself to her feet, wincing at the scrapes and cuts she had just obtained and pulled herself the final few feet to the water’s edge. She needed to get the blood off… Her hands desperately rubbed together under the water, but no matter how hard she scrubbed she couldn’t seem to make the red disappear. At some point, tears had started leaking from her eyes, though she didn’t seem to notice.
Really now, lamb. It’s just blood. Lick it off and taste your victory.

A little further Vl’kanMine, don’t stop now you might fall and drown. Heavily panting and sweating a half naked rider sprinted through the woods. “I’m…going….to kill…you!” Get down here and give me my gear you overgrown wherry!!! Slipping on a rock as he tried to cross the river once again the Istan fell hard, tearing his knee open for a second time on a submerged rock, and cursing for all the world to hear. The large garnet laughed heartily at his companions frustration and anger, dropping his head to look down at the running, stumbling man as he flew low over the tree tops.
Stop complaining, I don’t even smell the feline anymore. It was here that Thormyth took notice of another flash of dark red hide skimming the treetops before dropping out of sight and into a valley below. There is Braymoth and His, come and rest now Mine. Thormyth bugled at his rider before back winging to land near the rivers edge where Braymoth and Yufa were. Breathing heavily and looking like he was just literally dragged through the mud, Vl’kan skipped to a stop before flopping down on his back in the grass. “Dammed…..dragon…” Muttering to himself he covered his face, shielding his eyes from the sun before sticking the other arm haphazardly in the air and giving Yufa a pathetic attempt at a wave. “Hallo…don’t ah..don’t mind us…”

Baysath gave a lingering hiss of delight. "What is it, Baysath...?" An'sif asked him, his voice deep and uncaring. Two Garnets close by... And I smell blood. the dragon purred. We shouldn't even be here. The Garnet snorted. When has that stopped us! The words were a snap of irritation. Baysath spiraled down towards the others at a reckless pace, pulling back only as he came close to them and giving a slight hiss.
Greetings GarnetBrothers... Another hiss. Oh this could be quite fun... and quite bloody. It was bubbling up in him... the anger, the unbridled irritation and need for blood. Oh... Yes.
He flicked his tail, his rider having one arm leaning forward on his back as he took in the sight before him. Two garnets... both smaller than his own, but no less Impressive.
Baysath snorted. I am most Impressive mine, and do not forget it! Besides... we are amongst the most important members of the Rebellion. The rumble low in his throat was nearly amused.... nearly.... It was also very near hostile.

Oh goody Yufa, it appears we have company. Braymoth’s tailed swished in amusement at the look of fear that came over his rider. Yufa stood, trembling and wanting nothing more than to run and hide. That would look too guilty though, wouldn’t it. She wiped her hands on her dress, hoping it wouldn’t leave smears and tried to stop the tears from falling, though she was horribly unsuccessful. Finally, she glanced over to the other rider, only to gasp as she took in his appearance. Now look at that, Yufa. His looks as terrible as you do. This is turning in to quite the eventful day, isn’t it? He gave no effort to keep his thoughts to only his rider.
“Vl’kan!” Yufa gasped, not only shocked to see him here, but surprised at the state he was in. She could feel Braymoth’s interest in the smell of the man’s blood. “Are you alright Vl’kan, Sir?” She called, still trying to wipe the tears away. She knew she could approach though before she could another garnetpair had arrived.
Now you I do not recognize. The red dragon growled low in his throat, more a warning than anything else. He doubted His could handle more bloodshed at the moment, though if it came to it, he wouldn’t hesitate.
