The redhead stood about a foot deep in the calm of the river, her pants pulled up around her knees, just enjoying the feeling of water moving around her... and watching the fish, especially the younger fish, which swam in this calm portion of the river. It was beautiful. Made her miss home. Yeah... I a home long sense dead. She dipped her hands into the water and ventured a bit deeper so that she was knee deep in it. It was wonderful. Most definitely.
She eventually wandered back to a rock and sat down on it, pulling out a stick which she promptly started to whittle away at with a knife that Noct had given her. She was having a peaceful day so far. And she would like to keep it that way.
Bellatora was not exactly the most social person in the whole of Pern... but she could play the part if need be. She yawned and stretched, one hand holding the stick and the other holding the knife. That's when she heard dragon wings over head and she peered up at the trees which lined the river. Great. Well... if it was an important enough rider... maybe she could get some good information. That would be something, quite honestly. She wouldn't mind that. After all, she did need to have something to take back to the Rebellion with her.
She stood, rolling her shoulders and stretching. Better wake up a little first...
((Sorry is short... ;-; ))

Kayath, really. I just want to get back to our weyr and have a nap. He sighed mentally, feeling more exhausted than he should have after dealing with yet another bout of trouble. I am dirty, Mine. I do NOT like being dirty. You will wash me and oil me and then you may sleep. She sure was bossy lately, but J’dol knew he wouldn’t be winning this fight; she really did need to take a dip in the lake. Whoa! Let me off first you crazy – He groaned as the dragoness backwinged to land right in the deeper section of the river, effectively soaking him in his seat.
With another grumble, he unhooked himself and dove in, glad at least that this part of the river was deep enough for that. He swam to shore, pulling himself out of the water, and without looking about began to strip. It was only once he was in the process of getting off his wet pants that he even realized someone else was around.
“Whooops! Didn’t see ya there lovely.” He made sure his pants back into their worn position before shaking his head to get some of the water out of his hair. “Oy Kayath! Let me take off your straps before you ruin them you overgrown wher!”

She blinked and looked at him, crossing her arms. "I suppose I should be flattered that you find me lovely...." She couldn't help the cheeky smile that took on her features. "You are something to look at yourself." She sized him up, moving slightly back and forth on her heels and looked him over appreciatively. He was something to look at.
"And how are you doing today lovely Kayath?" she asked the dragoness with a smile. Yep. She was the lovely princess she ahd heard so much about around Trelis Weyr. She was something to look at. A orange princess. She wondered what she would say if she gave birth to another topaz. Would she hate her like she had hated Chahaturth?
She walked down closer to where he was and gave Kayath an appreciative look. "Care for a hand?" she asked him then looked at Kayath. "What about you lovely princess?" she asked the dragoness.
She was grinning ear to ear. This was such a great oppurtunity.

J’dol couldn’t help the cocky grin as she spoke, “Only something? I like to think I’m a little more than something. Handsome perhaps? Dashing?” He pretended to stop and think of all the wonderful adjectives that could describe him, though in truth he was merely listening to his topaz partner. Kayath splashed about in the water, doing her best to get every inch of hide wet. I like her Mine. It’s a shame she’s so presumptuous and thinks she can talk to me like some common friend. kayath slapped her tail against the water in annoyance, sending a spray of water at the human.
Does she not realize I am a princess? She should be groveling at my feet! He let her ramble on at first, knowing there was no way he could stop her from venting with the mood she was in, but as soon as the opportunity arose he scolded her. It earned him a mental eye roll from the dragoness but before long Kayath has turned her gaze onto Bellatora. I am just peachy thank you. Just because she had to be nice didn’t mean she had to inquire about how the silly girl was. Kayath… Really, she was such a pain sometimes.
Her mood was quick to change though, at the offer of cleaning. She wanted to be clean, this girl was offering. Yes, that seemed like a good idea. “That would be great, thank you.” J’dol smiled, striding back into the water to begin the long task of cleaning. “You ever done this before… I still haven’t gotten your name!”

Bellatora just laughed as she was splashed. "Seems she doesn't like me talking to her without her permission, hmm..." She shook off and started pulling off her soaking wet tunic... which only revealed that she wore a shift tied around her top half which exposed her stomach and belly button. She brushed back the loose hair that had gotten in her face. She stepped into the water then. "I'm more than happy to help out." She winked. On her back, now that her tunic was gone, could be seen two fighting style daggers. She removed them and placed them near her tunic, stretching and stepping into the water. "Well that's good, Kayath." Hmph. The princess was certainly uppity.
"Yeah... I have done this before in Candidate training, actually. M'names Bellatora Nocte... You can call me Bella or Tora...." She smiled at him. "And yeah... you're something. Not one word fits for you and don't look so... full of it." She winked at him, elevating one shoulder for a moment, closing one eye in a wink, and sticking out her tongue.
She was going to have fun with this. She would love to have a little fun with him. Of course... .he was the Jr. Weyr... woman. Hmm... That thought amused her. More like Weyrlord or some such. She wasn't so sure he'd make a good leader for the Rebellion.. but she wouldn't mind if he gave her some attention... Though.... maybe if he did lead it, then perhaps people would be less intimidated or less like to think that they were going to be eaten or whatever it was that they thought of Noita. She wasn't that bad really...

"She's just being difficult," J'dol replied with a shrug. Her allowance of people addressing her seemed to depend on her mood these days. Sometimes she welcomed it, and sometimes she acted like a drama queen over it. Obviously today was the latter. J'dol glanced back to see if Bella was following and quirked an eyebrow at the sight of the daggers. So, she was a potentially dangerous person? Well, a little danger never hurt anyone.
"J'dol," He replied with a smile though it quickly changed to a feigned look of shock and hurt. "Full of what Bella? Charm? Wit? Everything? I can't help what I am, sad to say." He grinned at her and winked, "Careful girl or I might just have to make sure your tongue's too busy to stick out at me."
He supposed he shoudl wait until after cleaning Kayath to play around with this Bella girl, but he couldn't help it. She seemed to be quite the interesting character.

Bella sized up the large dragoness and smiled slightly. This was going t be quite the job. "Well... I suppose every dragoness is entitled to her difficult moments." She shrugged and started in on the job without any fuss. "Any lady as fine as Kayath should be entitled to a fine glowing hide..." She was trying to butter up the Topaz... And was trying to attract the attentions of his rider... which seemed particularly easy, really.
"Well, it is nice to meet you J'dol." She gently readjusted the necklace she wore around her neck which was made up of the teeth of wild animals she and her clan had taken down and was what the leader had traditionally worn. She treasured it because... well... it had been intrusted to her by Nocte, her adoptive father.... an the previous clan leader.
"Oh... I don't think I'd mind too much." She grinned cheekily at him. "You're handsome... let's put it at that for now... And maybe we'll expand on that later... Hmm...?" She was really flirting with him... though he really had no idea just how devious she really was being... She was a Rebel Spy... and he was someone of rank... She wanted to be in his confidence... and besides, he was a good looker and though he seemed to flirt a bit too much... she couldn't say that he was not unkind.... because that would be very untrue.
Bella put her focus into cleaning Kayath, though she did take the time to flirt, touching his hand by supposed accident, bumping into him, posing her body in just the right way to show off a bit more... She hoped she was making this hard for him... he alraedy had shown he was interested in her. Hmm... This could be... very very interesting.

Now that is what I'm talking about. Take a lesson from her J'dol. I need a glowing hide. The topaz shifted slightly to allow her rider and Bell access to different sections of her hide. You know. A glow isn't enough. I better sparkle. J'dol gave her a soft thwack with his rag before beginning the cleaning process in earnest, once again wondering how he was supposed to keep such a large dragon clean without help.
"Well aren't you sweet," J'dol chuckled, giving Bella a playful grin as she joined in on the cleaning. Of course he was flirting a lot; it was rare to find a stranger so willing to play back. His grin grew ever larger the longer they cleaned, each accidental bump, each view of her form, drew his attention a little more. Would she be as adventurous in the furs as she was here in the water? He supposed he really should find out. Kayath, apparently, had had enough of her rider's thoughts.
You will NOT be a complete idiot J'dol. You PROMISED her. I don't want that crazy green rampaging through MY cave because YOU decided not to follow through on your promise. In her anger, Kayath twisted and her tail sent J'dol tumbling into the water. The young man resurfaced a few moments later, coughing and sputtering, before he levelled a good glare at his dragoness.
"Geez Kayath..." He grumbled, though he knew the topaz was right. He HAD promised Ara that he would try to behave... the least he could do was not try to bed the first person who flirted with him... even if he wanted to.
