She couldn't ever remember why she had gone through her mothers things that day, but she had. Alyara, only a young teenager then, had been bored probably. It didn't mean she should have done it though. Still, the moment she found the locket, she knew something was wrong. For one, her mother didn't like silver and the metal was entirely that. For a second thing, she faintly remembered something about that.
It was a nagging thing in the back of her mind trying to gain her attention. Every time she dove toward it the feelings went away and the more she ignored it the stronger it became. There was no escaping it, and somehow Alyara knew she shouldn't have come across the piece of jewelry. She shouldn't have asked her mother about it either.
When the greenrider finally sighed and told Alyara the truth, the young girl could only shake her head in disbelief. Everything she had known was a lie, it had all been taken away with one simple string of words. Funny how something so tiny could mean so much. "You're not my real daughter. I will always think of you that way though."
The second part had always fallen on deaf ears no matter how many times Alyara's mother said them.
It was nice and warm wherever she was, Ara could tell that much. The worried of the battle started to creep into her mind like grains of salt sitting into a still open wound. It stung but she knew somehow she was safe from it all for now at least. She certainly felt wonderful, perhaps Avirith had finally decided to rise? That would explain the warm body next to her.
Nuzzling further into whatever warmth that was that she felt, Ara sighed on contentment. She didn't wish to ever open her eyes, but the greenrider was never ond to just let the other awaken first. It was too easy for them to slip away then and you wouldn't ever know who you had been with if it weren't for your dragon telling you.
As she opened her eyes though, Ara felt a tensing strip through her body. This was not what she had thought it would be. Surely she had to be still dreaming. There was just no way she could be in a bed with J'dol....in his weyr.....without clothes. Oh Faranth they had though hadn't they? The finally had admitted it at least partially to one another.
..........................................................................................................................................................Yeah, I have to be dreaming!
WE DID NOT JUST GO THROUGH ALL OF LAST NIGHT FOR YOU TO THINK IT NEVER HAPPENED MISSY!!!! NOT HAPPENING! You can get yourself another dragon it you're going to be that sharding ignorant.
........okay, so maybe it wasn't a dream.
Maybe?
Definitely not?
.....eh, good enough.

J’dol was a bit of an early riser, which meant Ara’s movement beside him was enough to wake him up a bit, though he didn’t say anything just yet. He smiled to himself as she nuzzled closer to him, though even with his sleepy mind he was able to tell she was tensing. Was she regretting it already? Or was it that the sex and been so mind blowing that her body was just now catching up. J’dol liked to think it was the latter, but knew it was likely closer to the entire regretting problem. Silly girl, he had even told her last night not to do it if she was going to regret it! His eyes had remained closed, though now they half opened to look at her. He dipped his head to plant a gentle, sleepy kiss on her shoulder. “You look like you were expecting someone else,” He teased playfully, “Am I really that easy to forget?” He felt for Kayath, wanting to make sure she was still alright. She was sleeping no doubt, was Avirith also in the cave? {{OOC: Sorry for shortness! Gotta go to work }}

Ara turned to look at her bedmate as J'dol leaned over to kiss her shoulder. She smiled warmly, only now starting to realize that none of this was a dream after all. Avirith was right, it really had happened. "No, not forgettable, never that. Just.....unbelievable. I had to remember at first that what happened actually had happened. I thought for a moment Avirith had risen or something, so yes I sort of was thinking it would be someone else at first."
She let her body stretch out under the covers, enjoying the liquid feeling she had. Somehow it reminded her of pudding. Pudding? Yeah, all disjointed and free and just good. Avirith snorted a laugh at her rider's thoughts, shaking her green head. Sometimes that girl was just strange. "I'm glad that it was you I woke up to though." Ara tagged that part onto the end as she relaxed back into a curled up position, snuggling into the pillows and him and who knows what else was in her reach. If it was remotely comfortable, she went for it.
Yawning though, she fought her eyes to stay open and alert. Part of her wanted to simply go back to sleep, to drift back away from it all. That would be just so nice, so wonderful. It certainly had been a good night, fun too. The greenrider couldn't help smiling secretly to herself, glowing from the happiness she felt. It took a moment to remember that her dragon was injured and that she herself needed to locate any of the rebels still at the Weyr. Sighing, she threw an arm up over her eyes and tried to push all that away for now.
"Please say we can do that again.....I have a feeling that it'll be a preferred way to...de-stress." She smiled wryly while she peeked around her arm at the other rider. Maybe next time they could even...no, no stop with that. I'm sure that even if R'vin were here still he wouldn't be interested....still might be fun....Faranth I'm getting bad. Her dragoness crooned at her rider's thoughts, stretching leisurely as she opened her stiff wings inside Kayath's cave.
Good morning Princess. The dragoness flicked her tail back and forth, nuzzling the Gold firelizard that was sleeping in the crook of her arm awake. With a chirp Aries was up and about, hissing at the Green for waking her up from her slumber. Fleeing away from Avirith, she ended up in the weyr, chittering and snuggling her way in between the two riders. "Well, looks like someone wants attention!"

J’dol couldn’t help but smirk. Of COURSE he was unbelievable. He was J’dol! Proud, dashing rider of Kayath, and all around awesome guy. Or at least he was in his own mind. He was glad she added on her happiness at seeing him; he had been beginning to wonder if she truly was regretting it being him in bed with her.
“Wow Ara, I really must have worn you out… for you to still be yawning like that.” He teased, his fingers dancing along her bare skin. He, for one, was happy it had happened. He couldn’t remember the last time he had felt so relaxed. Then again, he couldn’t remember the last time he had actually been in bed with anyone; weyrlinghood had stolen that from him for a while there. “I’d be happy to anytime, Ara,” his voice was a purr in her ear as planted kissed down her arm. J’dol was always ready for a second round, though he doubted doing it right now would be the best idea. No doubt he would have to get up and go about his duties soon.
He chuckled at the sudden appearance of Aries, though the way she snuggled between them forced the two riders somewhat apart. Though… that didn’t mean he had to stop teasing his greenrider now did it? “You know Ara… I never knew you would make such adorable noises.” With a a quirk of his eyebrow he made it pretty clear he was referencing their night-time activity.

The greenrider couldn't help but blush at J'dol's comment. Doing it all was one thing, but talking about it after or even just playfully referencing was something she would have to get used to. One hand petting Aries like a large feline, the other wrapped around the other rider's waist as Ara snuggled back into his warmth. Why guys were always so warm, she would never know but she certainly appreciated it. "I'm glad it finally happened, in case you were wondering....."
Her blush only intensified as she mumbled the words sheepishly and bit her lip. What would he say to that? Would he think her too forward, or maybe too curious? How far could she go in talking to him without offending their agreement? What even was the boundaries of said agreement? Sighing, and masking it with another quick yawn, Alyara warred with herself. Now that she wasn't afraid so much of the events of two days before or the idea of being rejected by her lover-and oh what a wonderful title that was to give him-she felt more rational and calm.
Yet, that rationality also shed light on just how cracked their situation was. Pushing, or maybe shoving is a better word, aside those thoughts Ara closed her eyes and tried to drift back off to sleep. She might have actually succeeded too if it weren't for the loud hissing and footsteps that shot her eyes open. Quickly pulling covers up to cover herself, Ara glared at the intruding bronzerider. "What are you doing here S'vrin?" The rider simply crossed his arms and glared right back. "I have matters to discuss with the.....Weyrwoman whose bed you share. For one, I dot remember either of you, particularly him though, at the meetings yesterday and this morning. I see why."

"That makes two of us" J'dol chuckled. How long had he wanted to do this? Turns now? Either way, this had been a long time coming and, if J'dol had anything to say about it, well worth it. Especially since he got to see his lovely partner's face turn red with every comment. She really WAS quite innocent wasn't she? Well, that would change, if he had his way. There was an almost evil glimmer in his eyes as he thought about it. Oh the things he could do... Sadly the thought was cut short at the sound of someone came storming into the room.
"Aah bronzerider, so lovely to see you this morning. " J'dol pushed himself up to a sitting position, giving S'vrin a cheeky wave. "I'm afraid the message was never passed on to me. Surely you wouldn't know anything about that would you? Besides, I'm afraid my night was just booked solid with meetings, if you know what I mean." He shuffled out of the bed, making sure not to pull the blankets off Ara and not caring the least that he was roaming around stark naked in front of one of his Wingleaders.
"I would be more than happy to discuss these matters S'vrin... though I'm sorry to say there is currently a No Pants Policy in this room, and as you currently have pants on, I'm going to have to ask you to seek me out at a later time." He remained ever smiling as he spoke.

Not many things phased S'vrin. It was a simple fact of the man's personality. You could be bleeding out at his feet or even kill someone else in front of his sight and he would barely blink. Some thought he was heartless because of it, others that he just didn't care anymore. To be honest the latter was the more likely. However, there was one thing it seemed that could catch him off guard....a very naked J'dol standing before him and scolding him through-yes-means of flirting.
Forcing himself to keep a full on eye-contact, S'vrin gritted his teeth. "A bedmate should not keep you from your duties Weyrwoman. I will leave you to become....proper, again. See me soon though J'dol, unfortunately there are matters to be discussed and I have no time for your idle fooling around with some greenrider." He snorted as Ara clenched the sheets. "Get out." The words were a short whisper and S'vrin tilted his head to the side to catch them. "Excuse me?" His lip curled upward in a snarl.
"I SAID....get out." The greenrider's eyes narrowed as her dragoness let out a high pitched bugle that emphasized her words. "You have no business in here unless you want to join...and be certain bronzerider that I would sooner disappear without a destination between than have you in the same bed as me." The man gritted his teeth but left the insult where it stood, instead simply nodding to J'dol and then turning on his heel and walking out. Stopping at the entrance however, S'vrin smirked.
"Oh, and Alyara, next time I see your Gold in the meeting room without my permission....I'll let Coziryth use her as a toothpick." With that, he was gone before Ara could let the scream out...it still came though, pushed into a pillow she quickly grabbed and clutched to her face.

J'dol couldn't help the beyond-pleased smirk as S'vrin stared him in the eyes. He smiled at the rebuttal, merely shrugging to show he thought very little of the man's opinion at the moment. "And a stick up your ass should not keep your dragon from contacting mine. It seems we're at equal blame my friend."
He sighed tiredly though as soon as the bronzerider had left, giving Ara an apologetic glance. "Men these days. You just can't please them. And I'll have you know," He began, sitting next to Ara and slowly pulling the pillow away from her face so he could give her a light kiss, "I would gladly fool around with 'some greenrider' any day." It sure beat listening to the uppity lecturing of S'vrin.
I can land on him in the 'Bowl next time I see him if you'd like. I'm sure he'd make a delightful pop." He hadn't even noticed that Kayath had woken up, but smiled in amusement as she broadcasted the thought to those in the room. "I suppose I should go show our dear wingleader how much we love him. Now.. where DID my pants go."

Ara sighed and returned J'dol's kiss, reluctantly letting to as he went to look for his clothes. "So...if you'd rather foil around with me, why not make him wait a bit longer eh?" She raised an eye-brow, smiling coyly and looking at him from under her eye lashes. In fact, she reached behind her to the other end of the bed and grabbed a pair of trousers that most definitely were J'dol's. "If you want these, you'll have to come and get them."
She chuckled under her breath ignoring the snort that came from the now woken Green. "So what will you do my dear J'dol?" Ara twirled the pants in the air, catching them and then placing them behind her back as she layer down on the furs. Aries chirped from her place in the corner of the room, pulling quietly on Ara's shirt until there was a slight ripping sound and then did it again. "Uhhr....shards now what am I going to wear?" The Gold simply tripled and went about the room to collecting books and other harder items that would be able to form a structure for her nest.

J’dol looked over his shoulder as Ara spoke again, and for a moment was pleased so see she had found his pants, at least until she hid them behind her again. “Oh dear, Ara. How am I ever going to face the Wingleader without my pants.” He gave a dramatic sigh, “It’s such a shame the meer sight of my body makes him freeze up or I would just go like this.” He walked over to the bed, grinning, and leaned over her. “Careful Ara, keep spoiling me with talk like that and you’ll never get rid of me.”
Wrapping his arms around her, he intended to pull her into another kiss, though it would be much too short for his liking. “If it was just me on the line I would gladly ignore S’vrin for you.” He finally replied. “But I don’t doubt he’ll go off and harass Iirla if I ignore him too long, the sharding fool.” He gave a weak attempt to reach for his pants. “Besides, maybe if I’m lucky a certain greenrider will still be around after the meeting, hmm?” Spazz warbled in curiosity as Aries went about destroying articles of clothing before suddenly taking off. He betweened back a few moments later with some of the clean rags J’dol had always given Bit for her nests.
“Destructive little gold isn’t she.” The topazrider mused. “Clothes are overrated anyways, Im growing quite fond of this shirtless you.”

The greenrider really couldn't help but blush at the comment that he made. She still wasn't used to so much attention, especially attention that was kind. Smiling despite herself, Ara let him wind himself around her, holding onto him as well only to realize she was leaving the stolen pants unguarded. Darn it all I can't even...okay, nevermind I don't care anymore. She closed her eyes, distinctly remembering that she should just shut up more often and let him kiss her. At the mention of their Weyrwoman however, Ara frowned and gave a small sigh.
The greenrider didn't even try to stop J'dol as he reached for the article of clothing, she just scooted up toward him instead to make it easier. "I suppose you're right. Make it quick though okay?" She nuzzled up against him, seeking some more comfort in his embrace. The moment she said goodbye was the moment she had to realize her part in all this again. She couldn't stay forever, partly because she had a job to do...and partly because he would never allow it. Stopping the sigh for parting her lips like it so desperately wanted to, Ara scooted backward and untangled herself from her bedmate.
"Incredibly destructive. You have no idea, she's taking the rags at least though." The rider pointed to where the Queen was snapping the pieces of shredded cloth from the Blue's jaws and arranging them in her makeshift nest. "And how am I supposed to leave the room without a top?"

With a chuckle, J'dol nuzzled into her as he grabbed his pants, planting another few kisses along her neck before pulling away, humming to himself. "As quick as I can." He replied warmly, "but you know S'vrin..." He sighed heavily and went about dressing himself, not even paying attention to the fact he was swaying along to his own cheery humming. Despite S'vrin's attempts, it seemed nothing could break the topazrider's good mood.
"There's more rags on the shelf in there if she needs them." It wasn't like he had any use for them anymore, "She can have as many as she wants as long as she doesn't go about destroying any more shirts." He pulled on a shirt and looked back at Ara's naked form appreciatevly.
"Frankly, I'd rather you stayed put so I can find you later," He winked playfully. "But if you really, really want to leave... you can grab one of my shirts. Might be a bit big on you though..."

Ara groaned slightly as he moved away, watching him as he pulled on a shirt and told her where more rags were. She didn't miss the smallest tone of sadness though, and understanding flickered in her eyes as they lowered then looked back at him. Another blush came though as he winked at her and said his latest pick-up line, and Ara cheekily pointed toward him and shook her head.
"Lies J'dol, we both know that's the only shirt you have left. J'dol of Topaz Kayath doesn't wear shirts...or at least he shouldn't."
(End thread...since there's really nowhere else for it to go xD)
