Name:
Guinevere
Nickname:
Gwen
Pronunciation:
Gwen - i - vere
Age:
19 Turns
Season Born In:
Spring
Gender:
Female
Sexuality:
Heterosexual
Appearance:
Guinevere is a petite little woman, standing only five foot four inches tall, and weighing a mere one hundred and twenty-one pounds. She is a lot stronger than she looks, and her deep brown eyes seem to dance with internal strength. There is a spark in these eyes that never seems to go away. They are very emotional, and always gives her away when she tries to hide what she is truly feeling. She has shoulder length black hair that she usually keeps tied up in a bun, but there will always be at least a couple strands that escape, and hang loosely from her head. She has a deep, even tan that never seems to go away, and is there all turn long. She typically wears paler colors, and really likes wearing clothes that are either light purple, or a soft green in color, though, when she is out with Kimieth she can usually be seen wearing her riding leathers.
Personality:
Positive: Caring, Helpful, Loyal, Speaks Her Mind, Selfless
Negatives: Shy, Easily Flustered, Helpful, Speaks Her Mind, Selfless
Guinevere is a very caring young woman, and loves to help anyone and everyone. Because she is so helpful, some people have even called her selfless. She is especially help to her friends, to whom she is extremely loyal and would do anything for. All they have to do is ask, and she would be more than happy to help with whatever it is. When people ask her for help, she won’t typically ask them to repay her, because of this she has been taken advantage of more than a few times. She will speak her mind, but she is also easily flustered. This means, at times, speaking her mind is pretty difficult for her, or she can speak her mind, and then be countered by something she wasn’t prepared for. That’s why she doesn’t typically start a discussion without her dragon being close enough to help her.
Guinevere is surprisingly shy, so she leaves a lot of people in disbelief when she does speak up. She has a hard time meeting new people, and making new friends. She tends to stick with the people that she knows and trusts, and doesn’t really stray far from them. But ever since she impressed Kimieth, she has started to come out of her shell, little-by-little. Because Kimieth is so flirtatious and energetic she has had plenty of opportunities to meet new people, even though there are those encounters that are extremely embarrassing, and not all of them are only embarrassing for Gwen. She does have a mild-wild side after she’s had a little too much to drink. That’s about the only time she is actually, truly a social person. Though…there are times that she drinks way too much and must be dragged away before something very bad happens.

History
Guinevere was raised by her father, and never really learned what had happened to her mother. Her father was a blacksmith at Fort Weyr, so she grew up around dragons and whers. She never really did pay attention much to what her father was trying to teach her about smithing; instead her mind was always wandering with the dragons. She had always envied those that had impressed a hatchling, and even though it always left her feeling quite upset, she would always attend every hatching she could, just to watch and see who would be next to impress. She would always day-dream that her mother had been a dragon rider that had fallen in love with her father, but because of her life-style she was unable to stay with Tom, or with her daughter. That always made things easier for Gwen, no matter how bad things got.
When Guinevere was younger she was always picked on by the other kids because she didn’t know who her mother was. It never really got physical, as in no one ever beat her up, but because they always teased and taunted her, it made her very anti-social, by which I mean very shy. From then on she’s had a hard time getting to know, and trusting, other people. But it wasn’t much longer after she turned eighteen that her life took a dramatic change. She was attending yet another hatching in Fort Weyr the day her green dragon Kimieth hatched. The tiny green was one of the last to hatch, but was most definitely the loudest one that she had ever seen hatched. Kimieth had come out of her shell trumpeting at the top of her dragon lungs, and definitely got everyone’s attention.
Gwen Mine, your Kimieth would like to play now!! Oh...but we should get something to eat first shouldn't we? The little green had walked over to the stairs to the stands as she spoke, and Guinevere was by her green side in a flash. She had felt more than one hand reach out for her, but the only thing that was on her mind, was getting to her dragon. Um…yes, yes we should Kimieth. Then we should clean you off. The tiny dragon’s voice had been very loud in her mind, but it was also very gentle, and that wasn’t something she had ever thought possible. But that wasn’t what was occupying her mind at that time. She was being led away from the stands, her father, and her life. She should have been upset, but there was something about the little green that made everything seem so much better.
Guinevere had a hard time letting go of her father after the initial night of being with Kimieth. She was afraid to leave him, but after a long talk, she finally managed to leave. She still writes to her father as much as possible, but now that she has moved in with the Rebellion to show her support for the mutations, it’s a little harder. She prays every night that this war will end, and that everyone can live in peace once again. The only thing that she can’t see ever changing is the threat of Thread. At least then there would be plenty of time for peace between everyone and everything. But even though her and Kimieth have been doing their best to help the Rebellion, nothing that they do seems to bring them any closer to their goal of making Pern a peaceful place to live once more.

Kimieth
Name:
Kimieth
Pronunciation:
Kim - E - th
Age:
11/2 Turns
Type:
Dragon
Rank:
Green
Size:
18ft.
Color Codes:
Body: 00FF00
Markings: 90EE90
Appearance:
Kimieth was small when she hatched, and hasn’t seemed to grow all that much. She is about as small as a green can get, reaching only eighteen feet from the tip of her nose to the tip of her tail. She isn’t abnormally small though, and is still within the normal parameters for her rank, she is just on the smaller end of the scale. She has a very strange green hide that seems to shine no matter how much dirt has collected on it. Not that she lets a lot of dirt accumulate in the first place. She likes to stay clean, and always tries her hardest to always look her best. She has light green wings that she keeps tucked closer to her back than she does her sides. This is so that she can show off her light green markings that look like flowers. After all, she is very proud of her flower markings.
Personality:
Positives: Proud, Loyal, Generous, Playful, Loving
Negatives: Hyper, Always Happy, Flirtatious, Loud
Kimieth is a proud dragon, and even though she is just a green, there are times when she has the pride of a gold. She is loyal to just about everyone within her home, her Weyr. But the one thing that holds her loyalty above all is her rider. She would do anything for the woman, no matter what the consequences or harm to herself. She is pretty generous, and loves to help others, though this can sometimes be a bad thing. Even though she doesn’t mean it, there are times when she will be helping someone, and everything just seems to go awry. So please don’t get too upset with her if she messes something up, chances are that it really was an honest mistake. She is surprisingly playful, and a lot of people have said that she has the energy of a hatchling, but her energy just seems to have no end.
Kimieth is a very loving dragon, and sometimes she shows her love by flirting shamelessly. This is a very bad thing for her rider, because this female dragon has a tendency to flirt with, not only male dragons, but females as well. She might not take a great interesting in the females, but she mainly flirts with them just to be a pain in her rider’s side. So don’t blame her rider if you or your dragon gets put into an awkward spot. The thing that is most noticeable about this green female is the fact that she is very loud, and loves to announce herself with some sort of bugle or trumpet. Either way she is just loud. Everything about her screams it. Which is a source of a lot of contention between her and her quiet rider who would rather go unnoticed instead of drawing all attention to themselves.
Mind-Voice:
Mine, please play with your Kimieth.
Kimieth's voice is very loud, it doesn't matter what she's doing, she is just always loud. Despite being so loud, her voice is surprisingly gentle on a person’s mind. Her voice has a slight squeak to it, which isn't normally obvious, but comes very obvious when she is extremely excited, and it also becomes very hard to ignore. It is actually very light and feminine, almost like the flowers that mark her hide. There are times when her voice sounds more like that of a hatchling than a fully grown dragoness, but this normally only happens when she is REALLY excited about something. Her voice seems to take on a very dark quality when she becomes upset, and it becomes very harsh as well. It just isn’t something a person would want to hear for any length of time.
