Rivers End Weyr is a post avias, non-canon, no strict gender based impressions, wher loving, lbgtq friendly, member driven dragonriders of pern roleplay. We are set quite sometime after the pern we've all grown to know and love. With a slew of new and strange dragon color mutations and room for many more. Our whers communicate much like dragons, and are just as strong and smart as their dragon cousins. Just smaller, and..less pretty. Thread hasn't been around for quite sometime, and we don't know if it'll come back. Murders have sprung up in the Weyr and people are talking of losing the ability to talk to their dragons. Some for a few hours..some for a few days..and some forever.

With out first sucessful hatching under our belts, and a slew of new Weyrlings roaming the Weyr as well as two new never before seen colors having hatched, Rivers End has been busy!

Our whers are a staple of our Weyr. There is little to no gender based impression here, from female bronze handlers to male queen riders, we have a lot to offer everyone. Rivers End Weyr is a very friendly and hospitable environment that is a safe place for all. We are not strict and rule-bearing. There is a large potential for new colors due to various flight outcomes, color and rank do not always determine flight outcomes.
We are not what you expect from a Pern roleplay. Come and join our ranks of the odd and misunderstood.
