You're doing well.
The familiar whistle of an arrow going through the air, and the not so satisfactory thud as it hit home in the nearby trunk made Riku growl. Of course I'm doing well. Why wouldn't I be?...of course I just sharding missed, but you didn't take notice of that did you? She had needed time to think, and the crisp Winter air was almost too much to give up on a day like this. The Wherhold would be gaining their eggs soon enough, though they were to be placed on Trelis sands instead so that Majoriith could watch over them. The rider supposed it was a good thing since the Queen would get to understand what it was like to nest, but Riku was not looking forward to being stuck there with her.
You will have time to do what you like as well I am sure MineLove. I would never take anything away from you, nor make you do what you do not wish.
It was my idea to get the eggs here in the first place. I'll do what I must to deal with them.
She knocked another arrow onto the string, pulling it back to the corner of her lip as she steadied her gaze on the target, a young male wherry she had been tracking for a time. A little lower... Moving to adjust her stride and where she had pointed the instrument, she let the string go, sighing in relief as the thwang came to her ears. You love killing things. So do you technically....speaking of which, you may want to stay where you are on the 'Heights a bit longer. I'll be out for a while more. Collecting the arrow that had missed its prey, she walked over to the now dead wherry, hovering over it and looking around trying to decide just what to do with it in the mean time.
