Are you awake yet Eiko?
It was perhaps one of the first times that the Obsidian had ever called her by her name, but the Obsidianrider barely registered that. She was up alright, curled with D'sel's form behind her, her eyes trained on the wall. Thoughts had swirled around her mind in a vortex, sinking down further and further. We can't continue the way we were....we can't. The rider sighed and closed her eyes, swallowing against the bile that rose in her throat. If we don't change things soon.....if we don't.......then they may try to kill us like they tried with Noita.
Eiko shivered slightly, pulling the covers around her more, fear haunting her eyes as she opened them again and stared at the ceiling this time instead. Nimarath......what should we do? Do you think what we've been discussing may work? The dragoness rumbled, her body perched on the ledge outside the cavern, her eyes glancing to the sleeping form of her champion before she looked back toward the night sky. Perhaps, and if it does not we shall take my eggs elsewhere....the rebellion can either choose to accept the change we offer, or they can go without another clutcher to help breed more fighters for their cause and to defend against Thread. Whether they like it or not, they do need us.
The dragoness hissed low, biting it off as she spread her wings and stretched. Looking over her shoulder again she gave a soft croon to the garnet form of Emiath, reaching over to nuzzle a mark where her talons had scarred his flesh. Such a strong warrior....though he won't hear the last of it for being late. Eiko could only smile as she nuzzled into the pillow more.
