Twirls Staff-Hammer....okay so I could go on and on about rules and stuff, but it comes down to the following basically.
- 1. Be Nice.
- 2. Be Sensible.
- 3. Listen to the Staff.
Essentially, you want to treat others with respect, and this includes respecting their opinions and beliefs. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. Also, don't try to take care of an issue by yourself; if there's something going down, tell a staff member and we'll deal with it.
Here's a Quick Overview in case you need clarification.
- Do not spam things, this includes the cbox.
- Do not reply to obvious spam threads.
- Try to post at least two good sized paragraphs. *get as close to 200 words or more as you can*
- Staff may lock a thread at any time for any reason. If the reason is not obvious, a justification post will be made to explain the action. Do not make threads about locked threads.
- Do not post any material that may cause distress to others.
- No God-Moding or Power-Playing. It is rude, and if someone does do this, do not try to correct them. Let a staff member know and we will deal with it. It is part of our job after all.
- Remember IC actions=IC consequences. If your character does something stupid, be prepared to deal with the repercussions.
- Have fun. There is a reason for this forum, and having fun is it.

We have monthly checks!
Don't worry, they're not bad to miss once in a while, it's just to keep things from getting overly cluttered. At the start of every month the site will go down for a couple of hours to make updates. When it comes up there will be a new activity check and thread check.
If you DO NOT post in three activity checks in a row then your account WILL be deleted and characters moved. You can always come back after this and make a new account and reclaim your characters, but honestly that's three months. You should be able to at least up an LOA *letter of absence* for us so we don't worry.
Thread checks are just there to help us figure out which threads are dead or finished. All you have to do is fill in the code for whatever threads you have finished or dead and post it to the check by the end of the month. These will be checked and updated often throughout the time period.
