Well Mine, what are we to do now?
Rudith calmly looked up at her rider, the green tail twitching back and forth idly as she waited for Inali's reaction. Yes, Hers was overwhelmed with feelings and thoughts that she had forgotten could even exist, but that didn't mean the green would give Inali much time to adjust before getting her going again. Oh no, Rudith needed Hers to keep moving, to not dwell on the past as she was now. Snapping her tail against the hot sands the dragonet gave a little bark and drew the black haired woman's attention back to her swirling eyes.
Pay attention, we have company it seems and I don't like her.
Inali followed Rudith's red and orange gaze to where Inoria was hunkered on one of the lower steps of the stands. Almost all the watchers had left with the weyrlings and candidates but Inali had stayed behind, not quite able to walk let alone get her dragonet a bucket of meat. Rudith had forgotten her hunger pains in the mean time, more concerned with beating out the long dead Queen's voice from Hers' mind. Then of course there was the problem of the child.
Inoria blinked wide, questioning eyes at her mother and the dragonet. Part of her wanted to jump for joy at the new bondmate her mother had achieved, and yet part of her felt how wrong it was for this to have been capable of happening. Tearing her gaze from the newly made greenpair, the young girl searched the stands for her twin and father, her mind sending out a strong pull toward the bronze that looked to the man.
Stallorth!
She didn't use any cute names as she normally did, in fact this was the first time that Inoria had ever used a dragon's real name. The call was full of fear and uncertainty though, and the need to have something familiar nagged at the child until she was almost in tears. Holding her arms tightly around herself Inoria shook her head and ignored the hair that had fallen in her face, so much like her mother in that complete inability to understand exactly what had just happened.
Inali stared back, continuing to ignore both dragonet and daughter, even Ghost who was silently watching as she hovered above Hers didn't get any sort of recognition from the woman. No, there was something else that was going on in her head, a battle of wills that was trying to vie for her mind. That which was still loyal to her dead Gold fought against that which had bonded again, and bit by bit...the new side was winning.
Enough!
Gasping, Inali snapped her head back around and glared at the green only to ease her gaze into a gentle sort of wondered look. "...my.....my Rudith."

Stallorth felt a familiar pull that he hadn’t felt for what seemed like a very, very long time. The little girl’s voice was all it took to have his large form in the sky, roaring loudly as he flew towards the sands. His rider had decided that it would be better for them to skip the hatching this time, it reminded the ex-Weyrleader too much of the past, so the two of them had stayed in their weyr. But now Stallorth was landing, heavily, on the sands that have been vacated. I am here little one, what is wrong? There was a loud growl rumbling from his chest as he stalked towards Inoria, his swirling eyes a mix of yellows and reds. T’rian jumped when his dragon leapt from his ledge without so much as a picture as to what the heck was going on. He jumped out of bed and ran over to his dragon’s ledge and watched as the bronze aimed straight for the hatching sands. Well what on Pern is going on?! T’rian grumbled quietly to himself, not quite realizing that he was being followed by his silent daughter. Talian wasn’t sure what was going on, or why her father’s dragon had taken of as suddenly as he had either. So she trotted along silently after her father. T’rian stopped, mid-stride, when he saw two familiar forms by the hatching sands. He couldn’t believe his eyes. Talian gasped when she saw her twin sister, her father currently blocking her view of her mother, and took off head-long for her sister. Princess was panting happily as she chased after her owner, glad for the chance at some fun. Chef chirped curiously as he clung to the young girl’s shoulder. While Ruby was torn between growling dangerously, crooning softly, and chirping as she flew after Talian, having been caught unprepared when the girl started running and falling off the girl’s head.

The pest has alerted someone...they come now Little One.
Rudith hissed with a viscious sort of glee as she turned her head upwards at the arrival of the large Bronze. Red fire danced in her eyes as she tilted her bright green head, the darker mass of her body curling around itself and her rider's legs. You have come to take Mine...I will not allow it. She is mine I have fought hard for her. She is MINE! The young dragonet's jaws snapped at the larger beast, her wings unfurling and beating the air, stirring up hot sand. The voice was not for Stallorth alone though, no even the rider and the other thing that looked like the pest was here to take her rider, her Inali from her.
Couldn't they see? Couldn't they see that this woman was Hers? Couldn't they tell that she was rightfully here, that she had a purpose to fulfil with her rider? Rudith growled low in her throat, a clear warning as she pulled back the skin around her fangs to show them off in utter malice. This was her human, she would protect her human! "Easy Rudith darling, that is enough. I am here, I will not leave you...I promise." Inali's voice did only a small part in calming the green who was quivering now with pent up frustration at both these new arrivals and her rider's mind that still wouldn't entirely mesh with hers. That wherry-brained woman couldn't let go of her old lifemate entirely, but in time she would...oh yes she would.
Inoria ran forward to meet her older twin, her arms encircling the mute girl as tears fell hard from her eyes. "Talian...my Talian...." She didn't let the other one go, and when she finally did they remained in their embrace via their hands which Inoria was refusing to let go. Two girls, mirror images from each other and yet they were already different. Inoria wondered vaguely if her sister hated her somewhat for leaving, if it would change their bond. Somehow though she doubted it would. Smiling faintly the girl turned to Stallorth and carressed his mind gently, revelling in the mind that was second most familiar to her besides the Gold that was now replaced with a Green monster. She wants to replace Loraketh...she wants to replace everything.....
The girl's small cry held all of her confusion and anger, her mind digging into Stallorth's to find that comforting embrace she needed so badly. Little by little, one by one she reached out mentally for all the dragons she knew, all of her friends that she had left behind. They too were her family, they too were the ones that had raised her and she had missed them so much in her absense. Home....Little One is home! Rudith snarled at the twins, her eyes blazing a murderous red as she shook off the unwelcome thought, her body tightening its coil around her rider. Mine...Mine, Mine, MINE!
There was a feirce feeling of protectiveness within that one word spoken over and over again, but there was also something else. Rudith was afraid, she didn't want to loose Hers, she almost had upon their bonding. The green keened unhappily, her wings tucking in tightly to her sides as she shrunk down and quivered out of shaking uncertainty now more than anger. Sensing this, and the returning hunger of her tiny lifemate, Inali sank down to the ground with her and wrapped her up in her arms, black tendrils of hair falling over the patched hide still wet and sticky with egg-goo. "Hush now love, hush now." It was a soft, mothering voice that was used by the woman, one that she hadn't called on in what seemed a long time.
Blue, grey eyes shifted to where her twins were huddled together, briefly recognizing them somewhere in that part of herself that was still left from before. However, Inali was quickly distracted as Rudith keened again, her stomach clenching in painful knots. When Inali straightened and finally looked to her weyrmate, if he could eve still trust her to be...if she still trusted him to be, she was all that hard-edge and command again as she regarded T'rian cooly. "Get one of those meatbuckets, she hasn't eaten yet. Inoria, Talian don't be afraid....grab that oil bucket and rag and come here.....it is time you meet Mother's new dragon." Rudith turned fearful and angry eyes on those her rider talked to, a small broken hiss escaping her jaws as she regarded them. "No, that's enough. They are nothing to fear.....I'm not going anywhere darling girl."
Mine.....Mine, all Mine. All yours, don't worry Rudith, I am yours. They will wait, for now I am entirely yours. NO! Always Mine...Always, promise!
The green snapped her teeth together with a loud click as she turned her head toward Inali. Yes, always. Finally the dragonet seemed to relax as Inoria passed over the oil bucket and rag, her mother taking it and wiping away the grime and sand from the tender hide with a gentle touch. Looking up at the large Bronze, Rudith tilted her head and growled slightly before Inali caressed her neck and sent the dragonet a soothing thought. Who are you? The green finally sent a grudgingly gentle thought to them all, curiosity finally wiggling its way through the fear and anger.

Stallorth growled at the little green that now stood with his T’rian’s mate, not really understanding how someone who was so nice, could have bonded something that seemed so evil to him. I HAVE COME TO TAKE NOTHING! The roar that echoed his voice seemed to reverberate off the walls of the Weyr around him. His large bronze wings stretched out to their fullest as he placed a large, protective claw between the two little girls he had known since their birth, and the green that seemed to have a running hatred for everyone and everything other than Inali. I am here Little Ones, do not worry. The soft croon that he gave the girls was soft, sweet, and gentle, whereas the growl he reserved for the green hatchling was anything but. T’rian didn’t know what to do, or say; instead he just stood there, staring, at the woman who he called his weyrmate. She had changed, that much was obvious to him. She called the green dragon beside her Rudith, which meant that Inali had impressed, again. He tore his gaze away from Inali to look at where his two you twins stood linked hand-in-hand. How long had it been since he had seen the two of them together like that? It felt like it had been an eternity.
Tears flowed freely from Talian’s eyes as she embraced her sister, then clutched the other girl’s hand, never wanting to let go. She finally felt whole again, now that her other half was back where she belonged. She gave Stallorth a teary smile as she heard the dragon’s voice inside her mind, knowing that Inoria too, heard the dragon’s words. Stallorth growled at the Little One’s words, and turned swiftly swirling orange/red eyes onto the little green hatchling. This was one bronze that wouldn’t be so easy to replace, especially by a green hatchling with high ambitions. She might be able to replace his lost golden love in the mind of the woman that had once been bonded to her, but there was no way she was going to replace Loraketh in neither his mind nor his heart. T’rian turned away from where his bronze dragon was protecting his twins, to where Inali was comforting her bonded, who was now keening, a sound he was sure he would never want to hear from any dragon. He stared at the blue grey eyes that now regarded him, but wasn’t sure he recognized them. He hesitated at her words, but new that a hungry dragonet made very bad decisions, so he turned and brought Inali the meat bucket, careful to stay wall out of Rudith’s reach.
Talian couldn’t help but be afraid of the dragon that her mother was now taking care of, there was just something that didn’t feel right about it. But she stayed with her sister, and didn’t let go of the other girl’s hand as the two of them did what their mother told them to. I am Stallorth, and you will do well to remember that these Little One’s are under My protection. Even though it was not stated, the threat was clear as day in Stallorth’s voice. T’rian was too stunned to answer the strange voice inside of his head, instead he continued to work though everything that had happened within his mind. Talian couldn’t answer the dragon for herself, she had no voice, but it seemed as though Ruby, Chef, and Princess had their own way of introducing themselves. Ruby hissed menacingly at the green, daring her to try and take Her Talian from her. Chef was more…claws on in his approach. The tiny white flit darted at the green as quickly as possible, attempting to get a quick taste of her before flitting back to his perch on Talian’s shoulder. Princess sniffed cautiously at the new dragon, not entirely sure if she trusted it yet.
((OOC: Just realized how mean Stallorth is... x.x))
