Roxikanta (a.k.a Rox) has soft red hair that falls just around her shoulders. Her nose is small and well quite normal. She has eyes that are a deep cocoa brown. These eyes reflect Rox's emotions well, even if her face does not. One can use her eyes to peer into her mind and heart and see her feelings.
Rox is not a girl for blunt, as if her red hair wasn't enough, she wears various reds. Scarlet, rose, ruby, garnet, you name it. For many occasions, Rox will choose a blood red dress that matches Auerosth's ruby hide, with added jewelry of bracelets and earrings.
For rider works, a black-red hide tunic suits her quite nicely, with tough hide pants and boots.
Rox doesn't do much with her hair, except pull it into a messy ponytail or usually just let it stay loose around her shoulders.
Personality:
Roxikanta is likely as fiery as a moody Garnet. Her emotions ebb and flow like the tide and at times, crash forward as a boiling tidal wave. Her heart was deprived of parental guidance and love and kindness so she struggles with herself.
She can be bossy but more people perceive her as unpredictablely changing and confusing. It is hard to predict Rox's reaction for anything as an example.
However, despite her lack of parents, Rox has a strong maternal instinct. She loves teaching and mothering others.
And just because she rides a Garnet does not make her blood-thirsty. She may share her dragon's quick temper, but just like him, she hates to see others in pain or harmed.
This Garnetrider is stubborn too. She will not back down when she believes in something and will only be on one plan to win, win, win.
Othertimes, Rox is somewhat calm. Calm for Rox is being busy with work and being content and not having a reason for anger.
Despite Rox's strong and forward personality, she struggles to feel worthy. She went from having nothing and no one to riding a Garnet and having her forever partner. But still she lacks good confidence in herself. No one would ever know this, however, unless she trusted and had told them.

History:
Growing up
Rox came from a decent family, a happy mother and father.
This story is happy until of course, Roxikanta is no longer the most special, perfect only child.
Along came Kani, a chubby little brother who consumed most of the attention.
He was a genius baby, no faults.
Rox became his blame. She was only 3 turns when Kani was born, and the two never would become close.
Rox had found little reason for the treatment, besides maybe things really were her fault. She never broke anything, only tried her best to please, but somehow she was never good enough.
Kani was a sweet angel, while Rox turned into a demon-child.(but his blame was false) He used Rox as his harbor for his mistakes and wrongs. Someone broke mommy's vase? Surely it was Roxikanta!
But it never was.. But no one had their eyes open...
Perhaps it was by Faranth's kind grace or grim miracles that the abusive trio ended up dead from sickness. Rox never would know.. she was an orphan, free after 14 years of abuse. Now she was 17 turns.
Starting over, or starting her life
Roxikanta stayed in the in Southern Weyr and worked hard doing everything she could for work.
She had blisters from scrubbing and washing so often. But no, she didn't complain.
She spent several boring turns doing odd jobs and whatnot. Rox grew sad but strong. Would she ever be something more?
Oh, Faranth smiled on her! Search-dragons ended up finding her as she was gathering things outside of the weyr. Imperfect, useless Roxikanta was worthy of a possible dragon!
Candidacy
Rox did a lot in preparing for the hatching. She spent nearly all of her time near the sands and if the dragon-mothers allowed, on them. One egg particularly caught her fancy; a rather small blood colored egg.
But she would never think twice or quite believe what would come next until it happened. The eggs hatched!
Impression
The sands were stuffy. Every candidate was sweating. The eggs ticked and clicked against each other, vibrating with the dragon's hatching song.
The small blood ruby egg cracked first, splitting down the middle. An unhappy Garnet fell ungracefully onto the sands. Rox's heart nearly stopped.
He was beautiful!
He gave a pitiful cry. He was frightened and hungry! Suddenly his eyes locked with Roxikanta's and changed to rainbow.
Oh! Friendly RoxMine! Come and take your loyal Auerosth from here! I am hungry and so very glad to have found you!
And so the two left the sands.
But things did not go smoothly after impression. After impressing a Garnet Rox did not receive good treatment. People were afriad and hateful toward them, causing them to flee when Auerosth reached 9 months.
They made their way to Rindell, arriving and realizing how much more of a life they had here.
Recent to current
Auerosth and Roxikanta are working very hard to train and grow. They have been together at the Rebellion for 10 months now.

Appearance:
Auerosth is small compared to normal Garnets, lacking several feet in length. But in this way, he's quicker and could last longer in flight.
His hide is a bloody very plain ruby color. His hide is glossy, metallic and sleek. His wings are long and well proportioned, his tail oddly long on his body. He makes up for his size in strength and muscle. His legs are slender yet wiry with his power.
Personality:
Auerosth is a loveable character.
He is quite a clumsy dragon at times, tending to play too rough at times or lose his temper and let loose a good roar.
Normally he's just trying to make friends hoping one day he won't screw up.
This Garnet loves hanging out near other dragons, preferablly smaller than him. He does everything possible to be friendly and tries his best to be unlike his color.
Auerosth, however, is excited easily and disappointed easily. The flight of a startled bird makes him hop around like a sugar-high toad. The lose or rejection of a friendship will keep him sad for days.

- His voice is not as deep or brass as his brothers of his color. But it is a smooth, sweet tone. Sometimes he stutters, esspecially when angry, dismayed or shocked.
- When Auerosth is angry, his voice is rough, and sharp. He may and very likely say things that are rude and that he doesn't mean, but if he has harmed someone he will apologize first.
