It's been a few seasons since The Great Dragon Battle between the Rebels and the Anti-Rebel factions, and since, Trelis Weyr and The Rebellion in Rindell have fallen silent...almost.
In Trelis the Senior and Junior Queens have finally risen, and their clutches were greeted with rejoice, as well as the knowledge that in the Gold's flight Bronze Coziryth died as did any hope of the Anti-Rebels reforming. It wasn't long after they moved back into the rhythm of fighting Thread instead of each other, that things started to change again. D'tri of Topaz Chahaturth returned from The Rebellion, pleading to rejoin his once home. Welcomed with inviting arms and cautious stares, the pair came with a surprise as Chahaturth soon after rose in her Maiden flight. No one could have expected what was to be the worst event to happen though....Weyrwoman Iirla's death, leaving the Weyr without a Goldrider and in the hands of the two Topazriders and their Brown and Bronze champions.
In The Rebellion, instead of things growing again as some might have hoped in the quiet aftermath, things steadily declined. Droughts went on and on, the rebels forced to look at Southern shores to find prey for their dragons and themselves, only to be run off by Southern and Bay Weyrs' riders. To top it off, Noita has done nothing to empower the "kingdom" she promised her people, and slowly discontent has led to factions forming within the ranks; the rebels finding that things truly haven't changed as they had wished. Then D'tri left, and instead it was four Amethysts, fighters, that clutched first on Rindell sands. It seemed that this was the breaking point for the rebels as rumors flew around the camp. The upcoming Gather celebration and Graduation for the weyrling class seems to be the perfect time for something to happen, the question is...what?
