It had been quiet oddly enough since D'tri had come, and even more recently since word had finally came of the missing weyrling's whereabouts. Thank Panille for that, Ara thought. Still, despite it all, it was odd that everything was so quiet. After all, the rebellion had lost a Sub-Queenrider to gain a clutch from four amethysts. Ara shook her head and sighed, her eyes closed and her body curled up on the furs of the bed she shared with her weyrmate. It was something she knew, again thanks to friends in low places, and it was something she had sat on except giving the bare minimum details.
Then again, it wasn't the first time that she had been keeping things or only saying half-truths now was it? Frowning, the rider decided once again though it was for the best. Besides, she had more important things to worry about with a new job and a baby on the way, very soon on the way to be perfectly honest. Opening one eye, Ara looked down at the large bulge where a flat stomach once stood, the thought of how in Faranth's name J'dol still saw her as beautiful running through her mind. Either the man was really in love with her as he finally had claimed, or he was the world's best liar, which waws a scary though considering how much she had been keeping from him.
I would just stop worrying about it AraMine. You will stress yourself...see, you already....Mine...MINE....why does it hurt? Why do you hurt?!?! Avirith's cries echoed the bit off ones that Ara was trying to suppress, the greenrider unable to answer her dragoness as she was currently pulling inward on herself, her eyes closed shut in pain. Once, twice, three times she tried to form a sentence in her mind to give to her lifemate, and finally on the fourth time it went through. A...Avi...please...get...help... The green keened unhappily, confused at her rider's state, her eyes swirling grey and red. Someone help, Kayath, Tennath, Braymoth, send Yours. Braymoth's get the other healer too, the candidate.
Around the rider her trio of flits weren't in much better shape than her dragon, Stella crooning sadly as Aries hissed at another wave of pain, the two finally stopping their mutual hatred of each other to race around Theirs propping up pillows while that foolish blue Bayi simply...raced around. "Bayi, stop being Spazz and go get J'dol." I already called for him. "No, you called for Kayath, I need her rider, which she's probably loathing to give up right now." Chirping, the blue betweened away to his BlueBrothers and Theirs, eager to send the message that His had given him....along with all those lovely feelings she was feeling as well right now. After all, it wasn't like he knew that it wasn't a part of the message.
"Someone...oh Faranth...." "Breath you crazy greenrider. You're supposed to breath, not hold your breath." Miyaka gritted her teeth and scowled at the narrowed glance that she received from Alyara, but nodded when the rider started to do as she was told, the growl that came from Avirith and Kayath's cave enough to tell them that Tennath had climbed up into it to sit next to the dragoness. "Y..You're supposed to be...in class." The snort that came from the healer turned weyrling was enough to clarify that for the greenrider though. "As if I'd miss this. Come on, Tennath can wait a couple of sharding candlemarks to get oiled for the sixth time this day." Taking the offered hand, Ara nodded her head and squeezed her eyes shut again, waiting for this all to just be over already.
"I'm going to get some water and some towels from down the hall, will you be alright?" Miyaka waited for the nod of the rider's head before going out, not giving her another moment to rethink that decision. It's not too early right Avi? I mean...it's about on time...it'll be fine, right? Avi... The dragoness could only keen quietly as she tried to both comfort her rider and sort through the emotions that were being bled through their connection. I'm sure it will be okay...it will be.... Stepping away from her rider's mind, Avirith hissed and turned her attention to a certain Topaz once more. After all, Tennath's shouldn't have been the first one here, this was entirely unacceptable.
KAYATH, GET THAT RIDER OF YOURS DOWN HERE RIGHT NOW! I WANNA SEE HIS BUTT WALK THROUGH THAT DOOR IN TWO MINUTES OR SO HELP ME FARANTH HE WILL HAVE NO BUTT AFTER I'M DONE WITH HIM!
She lashed her tail out before taking a calming breath, turning back to Hers and whispering gently in the rider's mind. Don't worry Mine, I'm sure he will be here momentarily.

It had been the feelings from the blue, more than anything else that made J’dol perk up from where he was lounging on Kayath’s back. He remembered those feelings from when kayath had clutched; the pain the worry. But.. there was no way Avirith was clutching… Oh you are the SHARDING LIMIT you useless waste of a rider! It’s your mate! Kayath roared, spreading her wings and giving only the briefest warning before taking off to return to the Weyr. Oh hold your runners Avirith! That healler’s dragon is causing the hold up! There were dragons on her ledge however and J’dol was forced to throw himself from his dragon’s back to stumble into the Weyr.
Baby Bronze get OFF. MY. LEDGE! She roared impatiently, circling as she waited for him to move. She wasn’t above tearing him off if he didn’t move; Kayath hated sharing. She barely tolerated Avirith most of the time, and she certainly didn’t feel too happy with sharing her ledge with one of Izanycorth’s broad.
“Araaa!” J’dol practically cried as he came bolting into the weyr, stumbling over his new rug and crashing into the floor with an undignified splat. Spazz and Tipsy were quick to join the multitude of flitters in the room, adding their worried squeaks and welcoming hums to the already noisy chaos of the room. J’dol pulled himself onto his feet and peeked over Miyaka’s shoulder.
“What do we do? Can I do something? Ara it’s okay? Shards why does she hurt so much?! Is this supposed to happen?! What do we doooooo!?” He was in a panic; Ara was a woman of many moods but the fear and pain she seemed to be feeling worried J’dol above all else. The airborn flitters in the room were not helping calm him at all. In fact, the sounds were making him even more worried, since they were directly reflecting everything he and Ara were feeling.
“Of all the- SHUT UP YOU SHARDING FLITS!” He finally cracked, looking sternly at his blues until they finally landed nearby and hissed. “There.. much better? Right? RIGHT?!” Truly, he just wanted to help.
It appears the Weyrlord’s mate has begun to birth. You have been requested. Shall I ferry you up? Yufa paused in what she was doing to glance out into the Weyrbowl, immediately spotting Braymoth’s bright red hide. No. I will walk, you would only disrupt the other dragons. Gathering up her supplies, she paused as another message was relayed to her.
“Miss Linda, you have been requested as well. Please gather your equipment and meet us in the Weyrlord’s chambers.” She gave a brief dip of her head to the other girl before turning to jog quickly to where Ara was. Oh come now. Think of how much fun it would be… the little bronzeling is up there too. I could dispose of him now, before he’s big enough to fight back. With a groan, Yufa ignored her dragon and made it into the room.
“My apologies for the delay, Weyrlord, Lady.” She curtsied to them before moving next to Miyaka and beginning to pull out the supplies Miyaka would need. “Please, My Lord, you must calm down. We will take care of everything.”

Linda was of course working on checking up on things and cleaning up in the healers ward. It was a slow day so far and she was just trying to keep herself busy. Hana was of course on her shoulder but the rest were either sunning themselves, or her Huntyres were in her room doing stuff to amuse themselves while she was busy. Maybe one day she would, as she did with all her others, bring them here when they are older and see if they do well like Hana...
Then it happened, Dragons were yelling out... Which one she didn't know but it sounded pained... Well she wouldn't know of course, she was still a candidate and Hana couldn't translate anyways. It didn't take long it seemed till something was happening as apparently Yufa was called.... Wait the words that she was being called as well? Linda merely frowned, she didn't know it was a baby hatching... but for them to also call on her? Could it be another attack and many were injured?
Hurriedly she got her stuff together as quickly as she could and followed Yufa, thankfully still in her sights since the garnet rider knew where to go.... Wait several dragons fighting over one Weyr? Was it a rider fight? Linda bit on her lip as she just tried to hurry up... only to stop once arrived.... What was going on? Nobody was bleeding? Wait..... Her eyes landed on Alyara an her swollen belly... and J'dol and his.... well he wasn't being a leader right now that was certain... So it was time for her to have a baby? Or something happened and there were complications?
Well J'dol freaking out wasn't really helping, and it seemed Yufa and Miyaka were doing well enough on their own for this moment in time. So she walked over to J'dol and placed her hands on her hips. "Calm down now!! Take a deep breath and get a grip on yourself. She needs you right now and NOT panicking to make things worse!!!! Now sit down and hold her hand!! unless of course we tell you otherwise. You are to follow the healers exact commands, do I make myself clear?" Maybe now they will have a better chance to think straight without worry.... sheesh..

Yes, yes, J'dol was here, he was going to....oh no, J'dol was here and he was causing trouble.
Ara grimaced as her 'mate shouted out, telling the firelizards to calm down, which only gained him an irritated hiss from both Stella and Aries. "Please, J'dol...quiet." Her hand reaching out, seeking to twine their fingers together for that little bit of comfort she so desperately needed. When Aries hissed at the movement and flapped her wings, Ara simply kicked the gold off of the bed which received an angry shriek and an unhappy Queen sulking in the corner, unable to leave because well shards she was humming to you know! Stella gave a crooning laugh and cuddled into Ara's side, a little heater for Hers to gain some comfort on as she watched Bayi curl around Spazz and Tipsy's forms.
"Trust me, I've tried telling the dimglow to calm down, it doesn't work. Yufa, hand me those towels. Linda, do me a favor and get some water in that bowl, better yet, J'dol get water into that bowl, Linda make sure he doesn't spill any of it." Miyaka didn't look at anyone while she spoke, she just did. Births, injuries, all of it wasn't her strong suit, she was more of a poultice mixer and better with poisons and antidotes. Babies were not her thing, she hate babies. However, she was better at it than some people. "Yufa, you mind taking over maybe? I'm not really the coaching type if you haven't noticed....'ey Tennath get off the ledge already!"
The Bronze hissed again at the large Topaz, sliding down the pathway outside that he had used to get up, and wobbling back into the Weyr again to go rest somewhere else. His was fine without him, obviously his merciful presence was not needed today. You can land now Kayath....please, talk to me....I don't want to think about what's going on in there.... Avirith keened again, the distraction her friend presented a most wonderful opportunity. Inside Ara clenched the sheets tighter, worry biting at her fears, and then there was just no thought at all....
(Ooc: After you two tag it I'll just skip to the after part.)

People were coming in from everywhere, his dragon was freaking out at one of the dragonets, and the firelizards had gone from chirping to hissing once he yelled. The poor man was having a sensory overload, really, so the calm words from one of the healers, a girl he vaguely recognized from the hatching.
“Ah yes, of course. Support, I can do that.” When had he grabbed hold of Ara’s hand? Was it subconscious or had he reacted that quickly to her words. Either way, her hand was held gently in his own, his worries and fears not spreading to his fingers. It wouldn’t do for him to hurt her in his panic after all. If you get it, then why are you still panicking J’dolMine? Kayath’s haughty voice worked its way into his mind, pressing as much calm as she could. What do you have to worry about. I had six eggs. My GoldenSister had fifteen of them. Avirith’s can handle one just fine, I should think. Silly humans. She spoke to both J’dol and the green as she spoke, moving to curl around Avirith lovingly now that Tennath had moved out of the way. Hush now, you troublesome green. All will be well.
J’dol jumped up as a new order was given to him. “Hey! I listen just fine Miyoko! I can get some water.” He replied stubbornly, though his feet didn’t seem to want to move. Would Ara be okay if he left? He was torn for a moment, shifting his gaze between Miyaka and Ara for a moment before leaning down to press a kiss to his weyrmate’s brow and tearing off to get the water. He returned quickly enough, sloshing only a small amount of water out of the bowl as he shoved at Linda and returned to Ara’s side, trying to stay as quiet as possible now that the healers were calling out orders. His brows was still knotted in worry, but he knew there was nothing he could do now.
“Of course, Miyaka.” Yufa nodded and stepped in to take Miyaka’s place. She certainly wasn’t the most experienced midwife, but she had assisted quite a few now. Want to me to fly up there and scare the hatchling out of her? I assure you the results would be beyond entertaining. Imagine it… a baby flying through the air, everyone screaming in panic.. Little Lamb… Stop ignoring me. Yufa grimaced inwardly, not letting her annoyance show on her face. Sometimes she wondered what it was that drew the garnet to her.
“My Lady, you are doing wonderfully. That’s it, breath in, breath out. Wonderful, My Lady.” Yufa spoke softly, her voice gentle as she spoke slow encouragements. She gently helped move Ara into a better position for delivering. “When you feel ready, My Lady, please give a little push. Don’t strain yourself, deep breath. There we go.” She looked back to Miyaka and Linda, motioning for both girls to give her a hand with keeping the woman as relaxed as possible.

Linda just stood there blinking a few times when J'dol actually did what she told him, and so swiftly too. Maybe he wasn't as much of a dimglow as she had come to know him as. Well he still might be, but frankly for now he was doing rather well enough that she didn't have to worry as much. Miyaka's comments about how worthless he was.... Okay so it seemed everyone in the Weyr knew how bad he was at least so she didn't have to stem her comments THAT much. Which was good she was started to get a stomache ache from trying to not speak her mind about him.
"Guess he isn't that much of a dimglow though when it comes down to it.... I think..." Linda didn't even bother to try to keep quiet as suddenly he came back with the water and shoved it at her... what spilled out soaked her and she glowered at him. "I take that back.. he IS a Dimglow whom I am going to knock out if he is in the way again..." Carefully she walked over to place the water nearby for them to use. Though she was feeling a tad nervous herself, she kept herself away from pregnant people and babies for a reason... She didn't know WHAT to do around them.
If she knew it was a pregnancy she wouldn't have followed Yufa either... in fact she would have hid so Yufa couldn't find her but now... She just gulped a bit and went beside the green rider with Yufa and Miyaka. Hana softly chirped a greeting, somehow still on Linda's shoulder and softly humming and crooning. Her maternal instincts and trying to soothe people, especially her human who was freaking out a bit and sweating as well.
"Now... I don't really do well with pregnancy or babies or anything but... I'm here if need be...." Linda spoke through slightly gritted teeth, she was really out of her element... she wanted to run... She even glanced around trying to find a way out but it... well it wasn't going to happen. Slowly she reached out in hopes of holding one of Alyara's hand. "You can hurt my hand all you want... I can take the pain and maybe it will help with yours..."

Well, Alyara didn't think it would be quite like this. However, isn't that always how great pains are? You always underestimate them, and then afterwards your mind doesn't remember right and then you think you overestimated it. Ara didn't remember much to be honest, she just remembered some form of pain. However, in the end, well it was worth it. Why? That answer was now held in her arms, the tiny bundle of blankets forming a cocoon over her child. Faranth, her child. Avirith....it's really....she's really....The baby girl was asleep for the moment, breathing steadily against her skin, and Ara was careful to hold her loosely, carefully. She was so tiny, so very tiny. Something, she wanted to say something, anything, especially to J'dol. However, the child was entirely the sum of her attention, and she couldn't stop smiling. Weak eyes blinked open, the milky green color looking up questioningly at the person holding her before closing again and a small sound worked its way from the baby's lips. "I came...I came as quickly as I heard about it." Ara's head snapped up at the gravelly voice, a coy smile taking the gentle one's place as she looked at Sevrin leaning against the doorway. "Come in....she's sleeping so just be quiet." The older man chuckled slightly, clapping a hand to J'dol's back and squeezing his shoulder slightly. "Well done." Ara nodded in agreement, her hand for the first time unwinding from the bundle, carefully balancing the child on her lap and other arm so that she could reach out for J'dol's hand once more. "Thank you...for being here." Looking at their daughter, Ara bit her lip. "W...would you like to hold your daughter? Would you like to hold Jarali?" Her eyes shifted up to her weyrmate's a hopeful question in their green depths. See, look at her eyes, I told you that she'd be a Green like me!Jarali Baby Jarali Kid/Teen Jarali Adult

If the healers were still in the room, J’dol didn’t notice. As it was, he was busy simply watching Ara and the child. Had always thought Ara was beautiful, but he could honestly say she had never looked as stunning as she did now, with her disheveled hair and flushed face, likely tired from all the work of birthing. He smiled gently, not wanting to ruin the peaceful moment. Instead he simply leaned in the rest his head on Ara’s shoulder, looking down at the little girl curiously. Perhaps it had simply not sunk in yet that the quiet little bundle was his. He pulled away and looked up at an all too familiar voice.
“I didn’t do anything really… well… you know,” He replied quietly. If anyone deserved a well done it was Ara, she was the one who had gone through all that pain and carried the thing for months on end. Even still the support from Sevrin was highly appreciated and J’dol couldn’t help himself from giving a grin. The grin snapped from his face as quickly as it had come, replaced by a nervousness at Ara’s question.
“Me? I couldn’t, I-“ And yet there he was, suddenly with his little daughter in his arms, staring down at her as if she was the only thing in the world. This was his daughter, his Jarali. She squirmed, letting out a little sound in her sleep as if feeling his discomfort and J’dol did the first thing that came to mind; he sang. It wasn’t anything spectacular, barely more than a hum with words, a lullaby from his childhood. On his shoulder, Spazz and Tipsy – for once both behaving calmly - peered down at Theirs’ hatchling before adding hums of their own.

Linda was very rattled.... well not as much as Alyara or exhausted... but she had pretty much witnessed her first ever human birth.... And frankly it scared her that the same thing could possibly happen to her in the future. Her skin was a tad pale, and she might have a little shake here or there. But she kept her mouth shut and tried to keep herself out of the way from being noticed. It was their moment and the babies, not hers to get sick or freaked out or run out. She can just do that later in the privacy of her own room with nobody else around.
Her hands were behind her, clenched tightly together to keep herself together. Very welcome when it seemed someone else they knew showed up to give them encouragement. Inwardly she vowed never to have a kid, EVER, just dear god... parasites and making her be so weak... not that she would insult Alyara by calling her weak, but it wasn't something Linda would do...
Hana chittered softly as she tried to rub up against Linda's cheek, hoping to get her feeling better. The baby was hatched so her human should be happy!! especially since there wasn't any problems with it bonding with her parents right? Linda nuzzled her back a bit to deeply inhale and softly speak up. "Do you need a healer anymore? If not I should.... probably go and see if anything has happened." Yeah that was a good excuse right?! yeah not like they will notice her pale face, slight sweat, and slight trembles nope nope nope she had them WELL under control.... right?

Oh Faranth I love it when he sings....
That was the first and only thought to course through her head as she closed her eyes, the calming feeling washing over her and yes making her rethink staying awake. When she heard that voice, Faranth it was better than any amount of fellis ever could hope to be. However, it was broken sooner than she would have liked by another voice, the last healer asking if she was still needed. It was obvious enough to Ara that she wanted out, and the greenrider didn't blame her. "Yes of course, thank you Linda...I will see you when I return to the candidate lessons."
So, that was that, the only ones left were J'dol, Sevrin, the baby and herself. Sevrin took a comfortable spot in a chair nearby, his feet stretching out in front of him as he pet the topaz form of Kaya who had curled comfortably on her lap. From the other end of the room Aries gave a curious chirping humm, the Gold, the first thing Ara had ever bonded to, crawling out from under a table to glide onto the bed and curl against her side with Stella. The green turned her head to the older gold, her eyes red, but thankfully no fight broke out this time, that was always a good sign.
"Is there anyone you want to see her? I'm sure Iirla will come by eventually, maybe D'tri though too and T'rian, or...I don't know...mother will be here eventually I'm sure." There was another she vaguely thought about sending for, just so they could have their few moments of final closure. After all, S'bel had moved on with R'vin now. "We...we could tell R'vin and S'bel..." The question was there, out and open, hanging for J'dol to comment on, Sevrin had only pursed his lips into a harder line when she mentioned the bronzerider. Why? Well that was well known enough, neither of them got along particularly well with S'bel.
He would still like to see though I am sure....he was once a big part of your life was he not?
Ara couldn't disagree with her green no matter how much she may have wanted.

His singing broke off when one of the healer’s spoke up. Was she still in the room? Oh shards had he done something embarrassing… well… excluding his freak out of course. He gave a nod of his head, not really having anything to say to her.. poor girl looked as freaked out as he had felt not too long ago! He turned back to staring at Jarali until Ara finally spoke.
“Oh… uh…” He wasn’t quite sure what to say. He stood up, a tad slower than normal for fear of somehow hurting his little girl and stepped next to Sevrin and making a motion that was clearly an offer for him to take the baby. “You want to see her, don’t you?” He asked before turning worried eyes on Ara. “Isn’t it too soon? You’re tired and she’s sleeping and… Well…” He didn’t particularly want to share his tiny princess just yet. With a sigh, he rubbed at the back of his neck.
“If you’re up to seeing people already I won’t stop you… but don’t push yourself.” He wasn’t particularly pleased with the idea of that sharding bronzerider in his weyr, save for the opportunity to silently seeth in a ‘ha, look what you could have had if you weren’t such an asshole’ way. Hm. Maybe it would be worth it. Somehow he doubted it… and he felt mildly guilty about having R’vin come up. As happy as he was that the bluerider had found himself someone new, J’dol still felt terribly guilty. “I’ll make this clear now, one hint of trouble from that bronzer and I’ll make sure Kayath eats him.”

Ara watched as J'dol passed off the baby to Sevrin, the older man looking slightly amazed as he took the tiny bundle into his arms carefully and cradling it against his body. She broke that gaze though as J'dol went to her, talked to her, and she sighed knowingly as he did so. "No, you're right, I'm moving to fast. I need to rest and just keep things small. Though if anyone stops in I suppose that's their business to." She laughed slightly, pulling his hand gently, really she couldn't put much force into it even if she wanted, and pulled him down to maybe sit or lay beside her.
"So, are you happier that she's born now? No more waiting or anything....maybe...I don't know, maybe you'll finally breath easier." She wanted to run her fingers through his hair, let him hold her like he used to, like he sometimes still did. Ara had fought hard for him, as he had for her, and she had fought for that daughter that amazingly someone she used to think of as her worse enemy was now holding. "So, does this make Sevrin the Godfather? Or would it be D'tri or someone else?" She felt the coy smile raise the edges of her lips, her head resting against the pillow again as she covered her mouth from a yawn.
Sitting in the chair nearby Sevrin simply raised his head in question before lowering it again, Kaya perching on his shoulder and still humming gently to the bundle in his arms. "Sort of funny that there's been all that trouble with you two coming to me for advice over such a tiny thing. You little one are going to run your parents ragged...especially that father of yours."

As she took his hand, J’dol replied to the unspoken request and sat down next to her. He wouldn’t lie down, not while Jarali was in the hands of his most trusted enemy, but at the very least he would sit down and watch. It was already rather clear that he would be, above all else, terribly protective of the little ‘bundle of joy’ that had caused him so much stress and worry over the last three seasons.
“If anyone here should be breathing easier it’s you, troublesome weyrmate of mine.” He leaned down to kiss the top of her head before looking back at Sevrin. Godfather… the idea thrilled and scared him all at the same time. This was a man who had caused him so much grief in the past, and yet in the last Turn had come to be a best friend in J’dol’s eyes. Was he willing to trust the ex-rider with his child?
“As if Sevrin has nothing better to do than help a beautiful lady and her useless weyrmate raise a child.” He tried to meet Sevrin’s eyes, wanting to make sure the other man knew he was serious. “Godfather Sevrin… It’s there for you if you want it Sev.” He wouldn’t make the dragonless do it, after all. As Sevrin finally spoke up, J’dol couldn’t help but chuckle and run a hand through his hair sheepishly. “Hey I raised a dragon, how much harder can a little girl be?” Though his tone was light, the undertone was still there, the unspoken seriousness of the question; how hard would it be? Spazz and Tipsy chirped playfully at the other flits, both growing restless of behaving quietly.
J’dol rolled his eyes and couldn’t stop himself from leaning down to kiss Ara. His voice as he spoke was nothing short of affectionate and a little awestruck. “She’s beautiful.”

T’rian had been walking the halls around the Weyr when he heard someone talking. He walked over to a doorway that he found led to Alyara’s weyr. He arrived just in time to hear J’dol’s words and couldn’t help but chuckle. Raising a dragon is a lot easier than raising a daughter J’dol. Trust me, I’ve had experience. He smiled softly as he stood awkwardly in the doorway. Congratulations Ara and J’dol, and good luck Sevrin. He tilted his head to the side slightly as he remembered when his own little girls were born, and couldn’t feel slightly jealous of the happy couple. Oh well, at least he still had Talian, and he would do anything for that silent little girl. Now that he was looking at this new family, he knew that he would do whatever he could to help them as well.

How she had wanted that kiss from him, except Alyara didn't really realize that until the moment J'dol kissed her. Once he had though, she couldn't help the blush that came over her. With as tired as my body is I shouldn't be thinking of things like that. Looking away, though to be honest by now J'dol should know that look of Ara's, the rider gave a half-smile to the dragonless man that was holding her daughter. What a sight that was, and Sevrin was strangely...alright, not quite a natural, but close enough. The man was currently trying to not drop the child seeing as the girl had woken up completely and was pulling on the long locks of hair that fell around his shoulders.
"This, this is why I normally pull it back. Things like this...someone take this kid before she pulls it a little too hard 'ey?" He held her out for someone to take, ignoring the whole concept of him being her new and improved Godfather. After all, that meant he was part of the family, and Sevrin just wasn't used to that. Family was not a word he felt he knew anymore. He never thought he would again. Sniffing slightly and rubbing his nose with his thumb, the man pushed his hands back down into his pockets and looked over his shoulder at the entrance to the once Weyrleader.
"T'rian? Oh it's good to see you too." Ara's voice was the one to great the bronzerider and weyrmate of her friend, though seeing him was also painful due to the brought up memories of Inali. "I'm sure she will be fine, after all if she's anything like me she'll listen at least a third of the time....if she's like her father.....well." Ara looked over at J'dol with a teasing glance and snorted. "Well, the boys should hidden before she's 13."
