Mine...MineLove....Miiiiiiiiineeeee!!!
K'er shook himself awake at the sound of his dragon's mindvoice. It wasn't exactly uncommon for Kinurninth to wake him up, after all she always was forgetting that sometimes her rider had to sleep too. It was...well K'er had to get out of bed unfortunately to actually creep around the corner of the weyrling "building", which was more of a shack or tent, and check out what time of day it was, but it seemed to be around dawn.
Kinurninth's small, hazy form blended in to the streaked sky, the dusky purple of her hide shining with health...and something more. At first though, the weyrling didn't see it. They hadn't had much talk about flights yet, and he had trouble finding a mentor often which meant trouble talking about anything. I feel like flying mine...can I? I'd like to, oh how much I want to steal the show from that sunrise. Am I not better Mine?
The Amethyst's voice was not overly self-indulgent in her praise and questioning, just honestly curious. She liked to think that she was the star of the show, or the next big thing pointing out the new stars. She also liked to play however, and right now playing sounded much more fun. I want to play, let's play, but I want to play with the other dragons...hmmr, no, I want to play with only the boys, just them!
K'er seemed to finally understand and he widened his eyes, his head shaking. Stepping backwards he fell back into the furs of his bed, his body quickly wiggling under the blankets to hide. Don't...please, don't. Kinurninth laughed at the silliness of Hers, after all it was just a flight. Oh LovelyMine, I go to play now. With that she spread her wings and took to the air, forgetting the fleeing herd beasts below.
Come play tag males of the Rebellion! Come play with me!

Mine. A dragon rises. K'dri rolled over in his bed, mumbling inaudibly. From the streaking of the sky and clouds, the man could tell it was just now dawn. I think I shall chase.
At that, K'dri actually sat up, staring out at the sun. "Why," he growled angrily. "Why do these sharding females always fly at either sunrise or sunset? Do they think they can outshine the beauty of nature?" Still grumbling, the man sleepily pulled on a pair of breeches and boots.
Of course they can, Mine. Some of them, at least. His claws tightly gripping the hollowed out ledge of their make-shift weyr, Myth spread his wings and pushed off, his form slipping easily into flight. K'dri could only shake his head. "Some sleep would be nice," he grumbled, making his way out of his Weyr, letting Myth's flightlust guide him to... the Weyrling barracks?
"Oh, no. Myth, come back here this instant!" The Blue only roared in response, turning to let the sun shine through the thin membranes of his wings as he caught up to the rising Amethyst. I will play tag with you! He called, following the female closely. I will play!

If there was one thing Nymari hated, it was mornings. A night owl by nature due to her life as a guard, Nymari had been having a hard time switching her schedule to compensate for having a dragon. So it was that she tended to stay up too late at night, and need help from her dragon to wake up in the morning. This morning, however, her wakeup call was quite different from what she was used to.
“Iye?” She mumbled groggily, looking outside their makeshift (and horribly airy) tent to where her pink dragon was staring up at the sky. She dragged herself out of bed, sleepily pulling her fingers through her hair as she stepped towards her dragon. “What’s wrong?” There was a strange feeling creeping into her mind from her dragon, but Iyiath was too intent on the sky to reply to her. He spread his wings, a roar ripping from his throat and finally Nymari heard him speak.
I will show them all I am just as much a man as the rest! I will prove myself! I will catch her! As Iyiath launched from the ground, the full force of flightlust hit her like a punch to the gut and she doubled over, using the nearby wall as support. Nothing could have ever prepared her for the strength of the emotion. Taking a deep breath and trying to steady herself, Nym let her instincts guide her, only barely remembering to grab her belt of knives on the way out of her tent.
How she managed to find K’er’s tent, she didn’t know, but somehow she managed to stumble in, her eyes half lidded with lust and a rosiness to her cheeks as her gaze swept across the ‘room’. She wore less than she would normally be comfortable with in public; a pair of short shorts and a loose fitting top that left her midriff showing, but today she took no notice of her state of dress. No, she was too preoccupied with the glimpse of the man hiding in his bed. She wanted to see who it was and, without any attention given to the only other chaser in the room, Nymari stepped towards the bed, swaying her hips as she moved.
Iyiath bugled his intent at the pretty amethyst in the air as he spiraled after her. The pink dragon was confident; he knew he was quicker in the air than Myth, having played tag with the blue before, but he had no idea how he’d fare against a lovely lady like Kinurninth. Oh pretty one, don’t play with an old man like Myth! I am much quicker than he is! Let us play together!

Zi'axe was curled in his bed, burrowed in the furs. He was actually half smiling in his sleep. Ah, a happy dream.
An amethyst flies. A King shall join this chase.
The bronzerider growled, covering his head with a pillow as if to block Kasprth's brassy voice.
"Oh why bother?! Just sleep..."
Kasprth snarled lowly. You truely are stupid Mine, sometimes. You forget, I am the King! I shall do as I please, and I choose to fly the lovely Kinutninth!!
Zi'axe groaned and grumbled curses as he dressed. God damn, Kinurninth?! He'd really only glimpsed the amethyst and male rider once or twice.. Being Zi'axe he avoided people...
Oh Kinurninth! What a brilliant idea! I, King Kasprth, love tag! Let me join you, princess!
Why was life so cruel? Zi'axe unwillingly made his way to find the amethyst's rider. Meanwhile, Kasprth's bronze hide glimmered as he took to the air. He was huge, absolutely massive. 45 feet from nose to tail, and quite aware. Other suitors beware! Mighty Kasprth had joined!
His form dipped toward the pretty amethyst, and he roared excitedly.

Emiath and D'sel had been up for hours, having just returned from a morning work-out. Well, kind of. D'sel had certainly gotten a work-out, running along the beach as he did every morning, but Emiath had chosen to laze about in the ocean while his Bonded ran.
Both rider and dragon now sat in the main camp, watching the sunrise from a tall ledge that overlooked the camp. Soon, however, Emiath was distracted as first an Amethyst, then a blue, and another Amethyst rose into the air. Kinurninth rises. The large garnet commented, eyes swirling.
"So I see," D'sel replied, his eyes following the shape of the dragons in the air. The blue looked old. There was no way he would win. But the Amethyst... D'sel shook his head and spat in disgust. Two of the same colour, in a mating flight? It wasn't right. Sure, Rindell and the Rebellion were all for Mutations, but that was awkward and... wrong.
Emiath spread his wings, causing D'sel to jump away quickly to avoid being knocked over. The blue is old, the Amethyst wrong. I will chase, and show them what a true flight looks like! The Garnet screamed his defiance to the other males, launching himself into the air like a rocket.
Quickly catching up to the other dragons, he roared again, eyes swirling a crazy red. Playing tag is for children! He called, angling himself to catch a thermal and gain speed. I will show you what a true flight looks like! You are not the dragon I have pledged myself to, but you shall do for now, and I WILL catch you, Kinirninth!
D'sel found his feet carrying him to the Weyrling tents, where two others were gathered. The rider of the rising female was huddled in his bed, the fool. D'sel looked around and blinked as his vision blurred, showing him the dragon behind each man or woman. This was always the best part...
________________________________
K'dri nearly had a heart attack when Nymari entered the tent. No... he thought. Myth could not win this flight! Nor could Iyiath! This new man who entered, yes, his dragon should... Holding on to reality was difficult as Myth rose in challenge, bugling angrily at the garnet.
The rider's vision flashed, and he saw those around him not as human, but as dragon. He was one with Myth, and Myth was one with him. Their wings beat in time, their throat rumbled with another roar. The garnet would not have her! She would be his!

K'er was still safely-or "safely-snuggled inside his bedfurs, not quite ready to peak out over them at the riders that had surely come into his little tent. Which, was quickly becoming crowded now that he thought of it. Nope, he wasn't going to think about that! Making a small, squeeking noise, the amethystrider burrowed further under his covers and stammered out a shaky "N...no....no one's...h...here."
---
Kinurninth however was quite happy to be showing off and exclaming where she was for her chasers. It was such a beautiful show, such a superb display of talent that was following her! A sweet croon chased each of her would be champions as she craned around to greet them one by one. Wise Myth, Playful Iyiath, Strong Kasprth, Fierce Emiath. Play with me, follow and try and tag me! She twisted under one of the males, letting her tail trail along someone's side before spiraling away and trilling back toward them. Instead of heading to the ocean though she went to the hills, dipping low into the canyon and letting her body skim through the various twists and turns.
They would have a hard time following, or at least the Kings would, the fighters would find this easy...except...ah, yes! Did I mention this was hide-and-seek tag? Her silvery, purple hide faded into the mist from the canyon's river as she wound around a corner, the sunrise playing tricks on the coloring of the air and hiding her fairly well except for a sudden burst of wingtip now and again. They would have to hunt her to have her, and oh what a fun little game that would be!

Emiath snarled. Fierce! Yes, he was the fiercest dragon the world had ever seen, and he would prove that he was the best, the most worthy dragon that Kinurninth could choose to be her winner!
As the tiny Amethyst dropped into the canyon, her body twisting and turning through the tight spaces with ease, Emiath roared in frustration, his voice echoing across the entire canyon. He was too big! Growling again, he tried to twist his body into a way that would let him take a turn, but there was someone in his way!
Myth! The blue had slipped into the canyon easily, his smaller form taking the turns rather easily. As he turned a corner, hitting the mist, his vision was obscured briefly until suddenly he was hit from behind and literally knocked wing-tip over tail.
Emiath snarled, trying to save himself as he knocked the older blue over, and as he saw a flash of Amethyst, he twisted, but it was Iyiath! He tried at the last moment to turn away, but unless Iyiath moved quickly, there was about to be a three dragon pile-up!

Iyiath squawked in worry as not only Myth, but a garnet and bronze showed up as well. They were huge! How was he supposed to compete with that!Darn bigger dragons thinking they were all that just because they had size. He grumbled, twisting through the air after Kinurninth, his form, if anything, more feminine than the lady he was chasing. He crooned as Kinurninth whispered in his mind, twirling in glee. He had been recognized! He wished it had been strong or brave, rather than playful, but who was he to complain.
As Kinurninth dove down into the canyon, Iyiath was quick to follow. His lithe build making it easy to follow her twists and turns. So focused was he on the lovely lady that he barely paid any attention to the trouble the larger dragons were having with the tight canyon. The amethyst twisted again and Iyiath stopped, swiveling his head as he tried to find her in the mists. Where had she gone?!
He swerved again, glancing up in time to see the garnet barreling towards him. He bugled in alarm, trying to swerve out of the way, but a wing or tail caught him along the back, sending him spiraling down with Emiath and Myth.
Instinctively, Nymari had jumped back as Iyiath was struck from the air, a hiss escaping her throat as she lost her footing and tumbled backwards, headed straight for K'dri. Growling, she glanced up at him, seeing only flashes of blue instead of the man himself.

Kasprth beat his wings rapidly to follow, growling at his slow bulky body. He could not squeeze between the crack, instead he was forced to tear through clouds and dive to the falls.
Water splashed his metallic hide, eyes whirling purplely greens.
How talented you are, and brillent! A clever little Amethyst. I'll catch you, princess!
Kasprth veered up, losing sight of the purple hide again. So quick! How could he catch her?

Oh he was late! So very very late indeed! Well His had told him good things come to those who wait, so this was a good thing...right? Kinuth roared after having launched himself into the sky. The pretty little dragon was soo far ahead though and already so many dragons playing with her! Would she want someone else to join in and play too?
Oh pretty Kinurninth! You're little Kinuth has come to play! He is a most excellent tag-er!
Spiraling through the clouds the young green kept his swirling gaze focused on the twisting and diving form of the pretty amethyst. Or that was until he saw the rest of the dragons below get into a sort of dragon-pile up. Well now didn't that just look like fun! Diving down he twisted in the air and made sure to tag everyone he could reach. Iyiath got a tap on his snout, Myth got a swat on his back, and the big and scary Emiath got a rap on his tail. Kinuth warbled with laughter though he made sure not to get tangled in the pile. He had a pretty dragon to chase after still and she said she wanted to play tag! So off he went, pumping his wings to constantly propel himself forward.
Now where did that pretty little dragon go?
O'rik had tried in vain to get his young dragon to come back, to not go out and chase the rising female, but it was no use. He had wanted to go "play" and there was nothing the rider could do about it except go along with things. Having been roused from his bed, the dark haired man had forgotten to grab a shirt as he stumbled out of his little tent to where Kinuth was urging him to seek out the other rider. He wasn't the first to arrive (the last actually) and as he stumbled through the tent flap, he winced from the pain in his leg, and all he could see were the swirling images of each colored dragon surrounding the figures of each rider. Wait....was that Nymari? What was she doing here and where was the actual rider of the rising female?

There were still people here? And oh no, more people, or person had come in?!?! No, bad, very bad...shoo...shoooo! Git! K'er's mind screamed the things he couldn't say aloud, his body shaking again under the blanket as he wrapped himself under it and dared to take a tiny peek out of a hole in the fabric. Ooooh no, oh no, no, no. Those were scary rebels! No, very bad! Ducking again under the covers and pulling a pillow and holding it as if it were a weapon, K'er eyed the riders carefully, not effected yet in the least by the playfulness that was filling Kinurninth.
"D...don't...c...come any close. I...I'll....hit you with this!"
---
Naturally on the other hand though, Kinurninth was having the time of her life as she giggled in the minds of the chasers she had brought along. The foggy mist was doing wonders to her game, and they had even.....WAIT hold the Thread, had they just dragon-piled? And WITHOUT her?!?! No fair! Noooo faaaaiiiir! The Amethyst whined as she hovered in the mist, letting it swirl around her in playful tendrils as she stared at the three dragons that had piled together and the new chaser who was playing with them.
Only Kasprth was ignoring that, and how dimglowish was that? Silly King, you should have fun like them! I WANT IN, KINURNINTH'S COMING BOYS!!!! With that the small dragoness flung herself into the midst of the pile despite K'er's worried shriek, and twisted Faranth knew where between the males as she "tagged" anything or one she could reach. Oh, this was a mess, who even knew how they were going to get out of this tangled mass?
WHEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

But, Kinurninth! I'll get stuck princess! Kasprth objected, unhappily diving and shoving his way into the space.
If the pretty Amethyst wanted him to squeeze into such an /inconvenient space, he would!
Some of the rock gave way as the bronze literally cramped in. His tail lashed and whacked someone, and his paw may be on someone else's snort....
Here I am, for you Kinurninth!
Kasprth tried to cock his head to see Kinurninth, but only ended up stepping on someone else.

K'dri was way to preoccupied with the fact that Nymari just fell headlong into him to care much about anything else. His vision was still blurred, showing him human one moment, dragon the next, but he had enough experience with flights to know who was in his arms.
Catching the woman with ease, he kissed her full-on, not caring that the person he should be trying to kiss was brandishing a pillow as a weapon. Nymari was who he wanted, his dragon be damned. Besides, it didn't look like the blue would be winning this flight, anyway...
Squawking as the bronze caused rock to tumble around them, Myth tried desperately to untangle himself from the pack. A chunk of rock hit him on the wing, and he spiraled down again, however. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO GET OUT?!
Emiath was also trying to get free, but he was aiming himself primarily at the Amethyst-- the right one, this time. Snarling, he wasn't polite about trying to fight his way out as his claws raked against anyone in his way. She's mine! He hissed, scrabbling toward Kinurninth... until he got smacked across the back by Kasprth's large tail.

She was gone, lost to the confusion and lust her dragon was feeling. Around her, the room flashed with the colours of dragons as her vision was taken over by what Iyiath could see; a flurry of wings and tails. It made her dizzy and she had to close her eyes, relying completely on the other rider to keep her standing. Lips found hers and arms wrapped around her, though whose she didn’t know, nor did her hazy, lust-milled mind care at the moment. Had she known it was K’dri, she may have turned tail and run, but as it was she only knew him as a blue silhouette in her mind.
She pressed into the kiss hungrily, ignoring everything else around her. She didn’t notice the way K’er was threatening everyone with a pillow, nor did she notice the man she liked was a mere few feet away. All she noticed was the warmth of the embrace and the heat travelling through her body as they kissed. Hands clutched at K’dri’s chest, nails digging in, as she growled into the kiss, mirroring the sounds Iyiath was making as he tried to unwind from the ball of dragons.
Ow! OW! Someone stepped on my tail! He hissed, tucking his wings as close to his body as he could, trying to slip in between two dragons. A tail smashed down inches from his face and he switched direction, only then receiving the tips of a claw across his flank, enough to cause him to bugle in surprise but not enough to hamper his movements. Finally, through some miracle he managed to slither out of the pile, for once glad he was so small. I did it! I’m free! Now where’s that lovely lady!
The amethyst dragon turned about, only then realizing the very female he wanted to catch was still in the pile somewhere! Oh no! With a wiggle of his body, he dove back into the fray. Kinurninth! I'm coming for you!

Kinuth squeaked as a large dark figured seemed to swoop down before finally squishing them all. Well, whoever that was did not know how to play tag! Kinuth growled as he wiggled and pushed against the different colored bodies pressing in on him. Oh he was doomed! Going to suffocate and die for sure! Worst game ever!
Move your giant foot! Ah but then he saw it. A small crack of light was showing between someone's tail and another dragons belly. Maybe, if he just... Scrunching his body up to get as small as he could possibly be, Kinuth wiggled and slithered through the tangled mess till reaching the portal of glorious light and popping out into wonderfully fresh air. Bugling happily at being free, the young green spiraled up into the misty air and glanced back at he dragon pile up. Oh but where was the pretty dragon who wanted to play? Where had she gone?
Kinuth whined even as he watched his amethyst friend fly out of the pile only to turn around and nosedive back in. Well that didn't seem very smart. Finding a rocky ledge, Kinuth sat and eyed the quivering mass of bodies. Well now what was he supposed to do? Rustling his wings he lifted his leg and licked at the small wound he received while in the "pile". Oh Kinurninth! Where did you go? Are we done playing already?
