Of course her student would have impressed at the hatching, not even finishing his training first. Hopefully it didn't really cause much problems for it either, at least one could hope. But right now Linda had something useful for L'am, she had gotten hold of a fire lizard egg and didn't know if he had one... So to be safe rather then sorry she was going to give it to him. It was going to hatch soon, who knew how soon that is why she had to find that sharding weyrling... Seriously how hard was it to find a blue weyrling and his dragon? ugh.... She didn't even have much luck finding his boyfriend? If that was the term, C'yin now was it or something of the sort?
Carefully held in her hands was a bag of warm sand with the egg enclosed inside, to keep it nice and warm before hatching. It wasn't a pot really, she hated using those things because if the egg were to hatch inside of it they couldn't claw their way out. Linda frowned as she opened it a little bit to check up on it with a stop. Hana was the only one with her today too, not wanting to cause a fuss if someone were to stop her or something. "Do you see that little boy? He really needs to stop being so sharding hard to find!!"

L'am was glad he had Impressed, and glad that C'yin had Impressed, but it was very strange. He no longer lived in the Candidate Barracks, but the Weyrling Barracks, for one. That was strange in and of itself. It was also rather upsetting that, while he and C'yin shared a room, they could not kiss or even hug, really, due to their young dragons.
The Weyrling was also rather upset that Ooma had Impressed and that Linda had not. He certainly liked Linda a lot better. She was nicer, and generally a better person, in L'am's mind. She had given him fighting lessons, after all. And she had Impressed about a million fire-lizards and huntyres, so it seemed that she would Impress a dragon the first go round... but no dragon had chosen her.
Sighing, his hand resting on Fironth's hide, the boy closed his eyes. He had just finished oiling the dragonet and his arms ached. Well, he supposed it would make him stronger in the end, right? Shaking his head, he had just dozed off, his head sagging on Fironth's shoulder, when a familiar voice broke through to his mind. Linda! Jumping up, L'am crashed through the door and into the hall. "Looking for me?" He asked, grinning. "And hey, I am not a little boy! I'll have you know I'm taller than... than... Well, someone out there!"

Ah there he was... she should use little boy or girl... depending on who she needed to find, more often. It seemed to get them out in the open and find them far easier when they tried to retort. "Finally there you are, shells... Thank goodness I am giving you one of these. Got you something to help keep you prepared. And your a little boy till you can fight well enough got it.." Linda couldn't help but grin though, he didn't have an idea of who he was taller of? If he was going to react like that maybe he should before he says something like that again.. but no that wasn't why she was here after all as she held up the bag.
"I got a fire lizard egg for you, its kind of small, I don't know what color of course. But its trainable like mine, you can send messages if you get into bad scrapes and it can be a scout and help you fight possibly. This way you can call for back up if you somehow get into trouble, and with this Rebellion nonsense going around it wouldn't hurt. I don't know when it will hatch.. Anytime from now to a few days?" With that she held it out towards him then started to frown, wait would he have food to impress it right now if it did hatch? "Keep food around at all times till it hatches, got some dried meat though if it does right now though, just gotta break it down into pieces for the little thing."
