Nimae sniffed at the discarded shells of her babies, somewhat lonely now her eggs were hatched, impressed and gone...

Oh! Where was that silly, stupid Garnet? Where was her Rorce?! He'd missed the birth of his children, his clutch! Her clutch! Their clutch....

Nimae hissed and slashed the sand, quacking some with her tail. Oh, he would get it now... Nimae would show the Garnet how very sorry he should be!

She screamed angrily, fanning her wings.

Of course Rorce wouldn't be at the hatching, in fact he didn't even know she had laid the eggs. And frankly he didn't really care as he had been noticing others started to fly lately. But nothing really that interested him, they were too odd looking or too small or too peaceful from what he had seen.

But right now he was just flying about, maybe it would have helped if she had laid her eggs at the weyr or somehow informed him... he wouldn't have probably minded to see what he fathered, or probably that garnet son of his finding out about him but.. Right now he had no care in the world as he flew about.
