I don't see why I have to come meet him just because he said I should. I mean, it's not even like he's the General or anything, he hasn't won any flight. Nim...Nim...NIMARATH?!?!
The Obsidian snorted and rolled onto her other side, slapping her tail against the ground as a clear sign that she wasn't up for conversation at that particular moment. Which, naturally left Eiko to walk down the thin pathway from the outside ledge of her little hole in the wall, all the way over to the one An'sif had. Lovely. Obsidian Row was perfect this time of year too with it's breezy gusts of wind and hot, sharding sunlight!
Well, what do you know, Eiko was actually being feisty this morning? The blonde shook her head, scolding herself for already getting perturbed by the Garnetrider without even being there in the same room as him. Maybe it was because of another Garnetrider she was thinking about, but no...well, maybe. Eiko tried not to blush as she realized that might just be part of the reason, but no, no one knew about that surely. Besides, what was wrong with it, she and Nim were almost graduated!
No, this had to be about the meetings she had skipped out on. Definitely that. Amy chirped softly from her owner's shoulder, the amethyst firelizard poking her nose out from under Eiko's hair to look at the drop off that the young lieutenant was trying so very hard to stay away from. Could have used a ride Nim... Of course, the Obsidian was still asleep and not caring. Sighing heavily the weyrling, though one could barely call her that anymore, shrugged her shoulders and rounded the sharp bend that led into safety and another dragon ledge.
Well, technically they were just ledges to little caverns that the wind and weather and made, with some help from dragon claws, but still it was a "weyr" for the main contenders in The Rebellion. She had hers, and An'sif had his....far from each other. "Nimarath said you wanted me to see you?" Eiko poked her head around the corner, shimming up against the wall so she wouldn't accidentally off balance and fall backwards against...well nothing but the drop off the side of the mountain.
