"Don't stray out too far, Kinuth!" Shouting over to his happy green O'rik shook his head and settled down on the sand with a wince, before adjusting his back against the decent sized rock Kinuth had dragged over. It was beach day. Really the trip had been overdue for a while now but since his little run in with an agitated snake the other day, his leg hadn't yet regained all it's feeling. So getting around had been a problem for the young weyrling and not to mention painful.
His usual torn trousers had been traded in for a loose fitting pair of dark shorts, which revealed the thick swath of white bandaged that wound around his leg and kept the puncture and knife wounds free and clear of dirt and, hopefully, and infections. That also meant he couldn't join his dragon in the water right now. So it was fair to say that O'rik wasn't in the greatest of moods at the moment, if only to blame on the lack of mobility.
For some reason though the greenrider found his mind drifting to the amethystrider they had run into the other day and realized he hadn't seen the duo since. He quickly shook his head to dismiss the thoughts. She had stabbed him after all. Why would he want to run into her again? Because you think she is pretty yes, Mine? Rik scowled, narrowing his blue eyes, as he all but glared at Kinuth splashing out in the surf. Keep outta my head you. She stabbed me. She saved you. O'rik grumbled under his breath, not saying another word, as he turned his attention to the scrap of parchment in his hands and went back to the seemingly random doodling.

Truth be told, the entire ordeal with the snake had actually affected Nymari more than she was willing to admit. She hated feeling helpless, hated not knowing how to do something, and so since the run-in with O'rik, Nym had spent every available moment looking for information on the local wildlife. She wanted to know everything, what was out there, how to deal with it, what the dangers were. If it hadn't been for Kinuth, she would have had to just sit by and watch that sharding greenrider die.
Iyiath had grown tired of her new obsession rather quickly and begun demanding that she take a break so they could get out and stretch his wings. It had taken a fair bit of pestering on the dragon's part to get her away from camp, but finally she had given in to go to the beach, praying to Faranth that nothing bad would happen.
Oh! NymMine look! Isn't that Kinuth? She felt the prink dragon's excitement as he spiraled down, not at all caring that his rider was trying to get him to fly past. If Kinuth was there, O'rik couldn't be far and she wasn't entirely keen on seeing him. He certainly hadn't seemed happy about the whole stabbing thing, though why she didn't understand. She had been told to after all.
"Stupid sharding dragon, stay in the air! No don't land!" She grumbled and groaned as her lifemate back winged to land on the sand, waiting for her to get off and unharness him. Well, there really was no arguing with a dragon so with an annoyed sigh she slid off and began working on his harness after giving O'rik a brief glance.
"Good to see you haven't keeled over." She called to him. Oh you are the master of greetings... She gave the amethyst a swat as he turned to watch the green in the water. Hi Kinuth! Can I join you?

He should have expected it really. First day out of the camp, first chance to get out and away from everyone and everything, and she just happens to come to the same spot. Glancing up he eyed the amethyst as he swooped overhead. Maybe they'll keep going further down... No sooner had that thought even formed did he feel Kinuth's sudden spike of excitement. Rik didn't need to look to tell that the pair had indeed landed nearby. Well that was just what he needed.
Kinuth had stopped his splashing and chasing fish to watch his purple friend get his harness unbuckled. Oh what luck! Now he had someone to play with and His wouldn't be so moody either! He bugled a greeting. Hello Iyiath! Yes please come and play!
Maybe she wouldn't talk to him. Maybe she would just ignore him...not that he was ignorable in any sense. O'rik found himself scowling as he disagreed with his own train of thought and then she spoke. Well shards.. Lifting his eyes from the parchment, he glanced her ways and subconsciously gave her the once over. Telling himself that it was only to keep track of how many and where she was keeping her knifes hidden today. "Yeah well no thanks to your bedside manner." O'rik shot back rather quickly. At a mental nudging from his dragon though he took a calming breath and gave a shrug. "It'll take more then a little snake to off me."

Of course! Mine has been such a bore and wouldn’t let me play. The amethyst chirped, quickly waddling into the water to join the larger dragon. Spreading his wings, he tried to splash the green, happy just to be out and about for once. Nymari gave another sigh, her hands on her hips as she watched the dragons. As annoyed as she was that Iyiath wasn’t letting her avoid O’rik, she couldn’t deny that it was nice to feel her bonded’s joy at seeing the green again. Now if only the stupid rider would stop treating her like she had tried to kill him…
“Do I look like a healer to you?” She snapped back, crossing her arms. Seriously, the nerve of this man! She had saved his life, and he repaid her with ingratitude and dislike. “I don’t know about that, O’rik. That snake got you pretty good.” She stepped toward him and sat in order to use his rock, shooting him a glare if he dared protest. She may not have wanted to really see him or be near him, or at least that’s what she had been telling herself, but there was no denying that his resting spot looked horribly comfortable.
“Look, I’m sorry I didn’t know what to do alright, but right now my dragon is happy and I plan to keep it that way, so you’re stuck with me for a bit.“ She took the chance to glance at leg, wondering how bad the wound had ended up being. His hand too got a brief glance, for he had sliced it open on her knife. Of course, with her gaze travelling over him like that she was bound to notice the parchment, which got a curious glance before she turned away.

Mine has been grumpy since he was bitten and can't play with me. I think he will be happier now that Your's has come though. The green rumbled happily before whipping his tail around to try and return the splash.
O'rik slowly lifted his eyes to regard her as she drew closer and raised a questioning eyebrow at her. Did she just really snap...at him? He stewed in silent rage for a moment as he tried to digest this turn of events. If anyone should be even remotely peeved at anyone here it should have been him! He was the one who got attacked by the damned thing, he was the one with the partially bum leg here and she had the audacity to raise her voice at him?! O'rik felt his jaw tighten as he readied to shoot a quick retort her way only to be quickly stopped when his companions voice broke into his thoughts. O'rikMine, please calm down. Today was supposed to be a fun day...you promised.
The greenrider heaved a sigh at his dragons word, his anger quickly deflating. He couldn't stand to be the one to ruin his young friend's day of fun so he would try to be somewhat civil. "It's not the first time one of those bastards got me and I doubt, with my luck, it'll be the last." Noticing how her gaze seemed to drift and pause on his sketching, Rik shifted and selfconsciously covered the parchment with his bandaged hand. "We used to have 'em on the farm all the time growing up. They liked making nests near the river by the house and after they got me a second time my dad decided to ask the watch-wher's to come in and scorch the little bastards out." He shrugged when it felt like he must have been rambling. After all, why would she care about that little tale from his childhood? "Anyways..." The weyrling ran a hand through his messy hair before glancing off to where Kinuth was splashing around. "Thanks and ah...all that."

Iyiath snorted as the water splashed across his face and he lunged towards the green playfully. Oh I hope so! NymMine is sure Yours hates her. The rider in question grimaced at the amethyst as she listened in on his thoughts. Darn dragon didn’t need to go blurting out everything! She would need to have a chat with him about keeping her out of his conversations, or at least keeping out anything related to her emotions.
The faintest hint of a smile could be seen as she watched him shift. Who would have guessed the greenrider would be shy of something, he had come off as such a confident, proud individual on their first meeting. She wouldn’t push him into letting her see, despite her curiosity. She could hardly force him into sharing something when she didn’t want to divulge details of her life either. She did grin at the little story though, wondering what it must have been like to need to worry about snakes.
“We had some small tunnelsnakes up north, but between the cold, the canines and the flits we rarely needed to worry ‘bout them too much. People were usually our biggest concern. I didn’t know snakes could come so big or.. well dangerous down here,” She admitted, though it wouldn’t surprise Nym if he had figured out her lack of knowledge on his own. She had panicked like an idiot that day, and even though she had finally gotten a thank you of sorts she still felt like an idiot for it. Just ask him what you want to ask Mine. Stop being such a chicken! Iyiath broadcasted, knowing it would force His to do it.
“Stupid dragon…” She grumbled before glanced at O’rik again. “I’m sorry about slicing up your leg… those fangs were hard to find and, well… You’ll heal, right?” It had been her stupid challenge that had led to him getting bitten and she didn’t want to be responsible for crippling the young rider.

Oh no, no. Quite the opposite actually! The green squeaked, very undignified like, as Iyiath lunged at him. Well he had never really had a chance to play with someone so he really hadn't been expecting the other dragon to leap at him. So much so that it had completely caught the green off guard and he tripped over his own feet and fell completely beneath the waves. Only to pop up and reappear a moment later with a happy little roar and flaring his wings to send a wave of water in Iyiath's direction.
O'rik sat a little straighter as he watched Kinuth tumble down under the water only to relax once more as the green reemerged and continued playing. "I never really had any pets that would have helped out." He added off to the side when there was a break in the conversation. "Not that I think Kinuth's a pet or anything now..." He shifted, adjusting his back against the warm rock, before idly moving to rub at a irritating bit of sand that had somehow worked its way under the collar of his shirt.
"Oh yeah I should be. I mean, I will be." Rik frowned as he glanced at his bandaged leg. The numbness had stuck around longer then usual this time, but surely he would recover full use of his leg eventually? "I think the bugger just hit a nerve cluster or something this time. Or, who knows, maybe the fifth times the charm." He wiggled the toes of the injured leg as if to reassure himself, they reacted slowly but twitched nonetheless. Well here's to hoping...

Oh Mine will be so happy to know! She is so very fond of Yours. Iyiath rumbled in amusement as Kinuth tripped into the water before sending another way his way. The amethyst rarely had an opportunity to play with another dragon, though he had gotten lucky once or twice when he was younger. Most of his playing experience had come from wrestling with His as a hatchling though, and now he was much too big to play without hurting her. With a wiggle of preparation, Iyiath jumped out of the water and splashed back down, doing his best to send a bigger splash at his friend.
“Relax there Mr. Protective. I somehow doubt your dragon there will be done in by Iyiath and a bit of water.” Nymari grinned as the greenrider’s posture shifted, brief as it was. Truth be told, Nym was actually surprised at how relaxed he seemed to be overall. If she had been the one all bandaged up she would have been trying to get herself as far away from others as possible, especially if the other person was covered in weapons. Maybe he trusted her not to hurt him? The thought was oddly comforting.
“Same here. We had animals to help out in the cothold, but I never owned one myself,” She shrugged. She had never felt a need for a pet growing up, though she understood the use of having them. She did understand the use of them now though, the makeshift ‘weyrs’ at camp were constantly infested with bugs and the smaller tunnelsnakes. “I only recently actually went about getting a little flit of my own. He helps keep things out of my bed at night.” Well, at least he did when he was staying focused enough to chase the critters away. She sighed and watched as he wiggled his toes and felt a pang of guilt.
“Well, I don’t know if it means anything to you, but if you need something let me know alright? I kind of owe you for almost getting you killed, I think.” She hated feeling in debt to anyone for any reason, and her pride demanded she find a way to make things right, even if she barely knew the other rider.

The young green stopped his childlike antics for a moment as he digested what his friend had said. Your's likes Mine, and Mine likes Your's? Kinuths eyes whirled with excitement. Oh OH! Should we tell? Do they know? Before the energetic dragon could say anymore though Iyiath had leapt high and crashed down heavy in the water, sending another massive wave to cover his head. He warbled in draconic laughter before leaping to full on tackle the smaller amethyst.
O'rik scowled a little at her comment but bit his tongue. He was allowed to be a little protective of his overgrown lizard. It's not that he was worried about the snakes. Oh no. Those little buggers wouldn't be dumb enough to attack a dragon. Maybe it just had something to with the fact that that little odd ball green happened to be his closest and only friend and he wasn't too intent on having him drown.
He fiddled idly with the bit of charcoal he had been using to draw and looked at her from the corner of his eyes. Oh he was fully aware of just how armed she was and how dangerous a spot he just might possibly be in. But...she had saved his life. She had the perfect opportunity to just leave him struggling to breath on that muddy shore, to just walk away or stick and knife between his ribs and end it, but she didn't. Instead she stayed; helped him, saved him, gave him his life back. Maybe they weren't so different after all. They both talked a tough game but maybe... Just maybe... The greenrider frowned and shook his head.
"I think I may have to keep an eye out for any clutches on the beach because I could definitely use the help keeping all the bugs out of my tent. Can't tell you how many times I've stuck my foot in my boot just to have my toes chewed on by whatever crawled in there the night before." O'rik shrugged and rubbed the back of his neck with his good hand. "Or maybe see if someone has one for sale in camp anywhere..."
Rik stopped his firelizard rambling and looked up at her, a curious expression written in his blue eyes, when she mentioned him needing anything. "Look it was no ones fault, alright? I don't need you feeling guilty or anything over what happened the other day. If anything I'm the one at fault for not spotting the bugger sooner." He paused to glance down at his bandaged up leg and wiggled his toes again. "And that, well...I'd rather have had it happen to me then if our roles had been reversed..." He gave a halfhearted shrug at the end as if to confirm his casual manner about it all. Besides, it's not like she would stick a knife in him for trying to be nice...right?

Iyiath rumbled in amusement as his wave attack succeeded. He was king of the waves! Mine hates when I tell secrets though… Oh but she would be so happy to know! If it is for happiness do you think it’s alright? He wiggled with glee, as if he held an important piece of information in his claws, though soon his wiggling stopped and he squawked as Kinuth hit him full force, pushing him under the water. He resurfaced a moment later, shaking his head and growling playfully before trying to tackle back. Having a friend to play with was simply too much fun! Oh oh! We should tell them Kinuth! Then they could have fun like us! Nym! NYM! I know a seeecret! The pink dragon switched from speaking to Kinuth to broadcasting for all to hear.
Nymari could understand why the greenrider would feel so protective. Every time Iyiath submerged she had very similar thoughts, but she was confident the amethyst could handle himself. At least he would be good enough to tell her if something was wrong so she could try to make sure he was safe. She relaxed back against the rock with a sigh, smiling warmly at the dragons. “I never thought I’d see the day where he could play so freely, without having to worry about being made fun of….” Her voice was quiet as she spoke. She hoped Iyiath would have plenty of chances to play with the green in the future. Having the chance to see her dragon truly let go and have fun made Nym happier than she had ever been before.
“There are plenty of females bonded around camp. No doubt one of them will rise eventually.” She replied with a shrug. Her egg had been purchased from the gather at Trelis so she hadn’t needed to put much effort into getting him. The difference he made in the amount of critters in her tent made her consider finding another one. Perhaps she’d go scrounge around the beaches looking for a nest one of these days. She chuckled at the idea of the roles having been reversed. She was glad she hadn’t been bitten, of course, but she couldn’t help but wonder if he would have saved her.
“Somehow I doubt you would be as handy with a knife as me,” She grinned playfully, hoping the day would never come where she had to rely on someone stabbing her to save her life. She couldn’t help the warm smile that followed though. Whether he meant it or not, the idea that O’rik would rathe be the injured one made her feel warm and fuzzy. She pulled out one of her knives to playfully toss it in the air. “Knowing my luck you would have chopped my leg off.”

A secret? A secret?! Kinuth twisted around in an excited circle. Wait…what’s a secret? Before he could inquire about it further though Iyiath had popped out of the water and quickly tackled him. He growled playfully and wiggled out from under the smaller dragon before taking off and crashing through the waves. What are you up to, Kinuth? At his riders question, the dark green male practically skidded to a stop and quickly set his rump down in the water and sheepishly looked to his left then right, as if to say, ‘who? me?’ and looking for all the world like a guilty little child.
We are playing! RikMine you should come play too. Oh and a secret! We have a secret for you! Unlike himself, the green dragon spoke for the entire group to hear. O’rik raised a brow and cocked his head a little to the side as he eyed his draconic counterpart, who tilted his head just the same as he looked at his rider. He soon grew distracted however as Nym spoke back up. For now it look like whatever ‘secret’ the dragons had would have to wait. “Maybe,” he shrugged. “Nest hunting is more fun anyways and you don’t have to worry about someone charging you an arm and a leg for their eggs.”
“I think I’d surprise you. It may not look it but I think I can hold myself pretty good.” Of course he wasn’t nearly on the same level as her, but she really didn’t need to know all that. O’rik felt his shoulders tense somewhat as she pulled one of her knives from its hiding place and tossed it up in the air. Saved his life or not, he was still not too keen on having anything sharp too close to him at the moment. Maybe she wouldn’t notice. He scooted a little to the side as she played with her little toy. Knowing his luck the hilt would slip through her grasp and embed itself in his shoulder or something.
“So do you do anything else besides play with knives?” He inquired, his eyes never once leaving the glinting surface of the knife as it went up, down, and back up again. He rustled the bit of smudged and scribbled on parchment in his lap as if to offer up an example.

“I suppose,” Nym shrugged lazily. Her egg hadn’t cost her too much, but getting one for free would certainly be better. “You would have to keep an eye out for wild animals though. I’ve heard there are some rather nasty critters out here.” She grinned and looked back at the dragons, wondering just what was going on in their minds. Iyiath was effectively blocking her from finding out just yet and the curiosity was starting to get to her. It was probably something silly but no matter, Nym wanted to know. She would have to bother her dragon later, however, as O’rik was claiming to be pretty decent with a knife and Nym couldn’t help but chuckle.
“I’d hope so, last thing the camp needs is a man who can’t fight.” From the tone of her voice and the playful smile on her face it was clear she was trying to tease him. Her grin grew as she saw him edge away. Was he afraid of her? Or was it that he was just nervous about sharp, pointy objects flipping through the air beside him. Throwing the knife up a final time she smirked at his question, and turned to press the flat of the blade against his chest, leaning in confidently.
“Oh I don’t just play with them. I use them too,” She practically purred as she spoke. She loved her ‘craft’ and she wasn’t afraid to show it. She didn’t stay close for long though, simply tried to catch a glimpse of the parchment before quickly pulling away to shove the knife back into her belt. “Aside from knives though… I can cook, if that counts, and patch my own clothes.” She couldn’t help but think her ‘hobbies’ were too girly though; she simply had the skills because she had spent her childhood being raised as a housewife. “What about you? Did you have a craft before impressing or anything?” Her eyes once again shifted to the parchment.
Iyiath was practically shaking as he tried to keep himself from spilling the beans. The pink bumped Kinuth in his excitement before finally chirping, wings spreading in his excitement. Oh Kinuth! They’ll never figure it out on their own will they? Mine’s too stubborn to tell Yours she likes him! Nymari turned red as she gaped at her amethyst. Sharding dragon had broadcasted that?! If that was the secret she was going to kill him!

O'rik found himself chuckling at the mention of the surrounding wildlife. "You forget, I'm not some sheltered hold boy or weyrbrat." He sat a little straighter and brushed some sand from his shorts, quite proud of the fact that he had come from a little farm and ended up being chosen a dragon rider over those stuck up weyrbrats. "No little critters can scare me. Well, except...you know, the snake thing." He pulled a face at the thought. "They seem to like me for some reason..." Speaking of nests though, an idea seemed to have struck him as she spoke. Could this possibly be another challenge between the two of them? Who can find a firelizard clutch first without becoming lunch for the local animal populous.
What a fantastic idea! Only this time there would be no water involved so there couldn't be any nasty interruptions. Just as Rik opened his mouth to speak however she had swooped in close and he found that dagger she had been playing with was now pressed against his chest. The metal was so cold through his thin tunic that he actually shivered at the contact. At least that's what he told himself anyways. Not that he would ever admit that it could have possibly had anything to do with their sudden close proximity. "I uh, well..." Hastily he cleared his throat and slowly released the breath he had subconsciously been holding when she finally pulled away. Wait, had she actually replied to his question? Shards! What did she say? Snap out of it man!
That's right, hobbies. "Uh, no no, I never really got into a craft of any sorts. Well I learned basics about crops and harvesting and a quick lesson or two on herbs." Rik shrugged and glanced down at the parchment and frowned at the scribbles and doodles. It was a known fact that supplies were fairly limited within the camp and he had slowly been filling the paper with his wandering thoughts for days now, it was almost completely filled up. "I did pick up a little bit of woodcarving though." He shrugged and folded up the worn out bit of parchment. At least his hobby was productive, rather then just running around with a bunch of sharp pointy things.
Kinuth whined at the apparently lack of attention both him and his parter in crime were receiving. Mine will never say he likes Your's and thinks she's pretty at this rate! The green huffed dramatically and hung his head. Why oh why was His so difficult!
O'riks jaw dropped as his dragon spoke and he felt his cheeks begin to redden. That dragon was dead just as soon as he could chase him down. Oh we are so going to have a talk about secrets! Kinuth!! His rant against his own companion would have to wait however as Iyiath had seemed to have spoken to everyone as well. Wait...she liked him? Slowly his mouth closed and a smug little smirk began to replace his pervious look of shock and embarrassment. Oh you could bet he was going to milk this. Shifting a little he propped his arm up on the rock and set his chin on his hand, that smirk not once faltering and completely forgetting the fact she could quite easily kill him at any moment now. "Can't say I pegged you for going for the farmer-boy type. What was it? It was the eyes huh? You know I've been told I have a gift." Oh he was practically begging for trouble at this point.

She loved catching people off guard. Watching them freeze up, hearing the gasp of surprise, it was a strange sort of thrill for the young woman. O’rik didn’t disappoint either; though Nymari had no idea it was their proximity rather than her blade that was causing the reaction. Either way, she had gotten an entertaining response from him and thought nothing more of it as she put away the knife, ready to simply listen to his hobbies.
“Don’t tell the camp or they’ll try to have you fix all the run down furniture,” She sighed. Her own pathetic excuse of a weyr was horribly under furnished. It was barely more than a bed in a tent, and her only shelf was threatening to crack and break. She relaxed back against the rock again, closing her eyes for a moment and simply enjoying the sun. There were times she wished she knew a craft that would be useful around camp, but she knew the only thing she could ever be was a guard. She liked being the protector, instead of the protected, and she couldn’t imagine it any other way.
As the green’s words, and her own dragon’s blabbering reached her mind she glanced at O’rik, hoping that somehow he hadn’t heard what either dragon said. The smug expression on his face was not what she had been expecting, nor had she been expecting the sudden bout of cocky confidence. It was enough to leave her gaping at the rider, completely speechless at first. As he mentioned his eyes, Nymari instinctively met his gaze, blushed and looked away. Stupid, cocky greenrider! Taking a deep breath she finally met his eyes again and leaned towards him, giving him a good jab to the chest.
“Don’t get too cocky there farmboy, you did get beaten by a little snake.” She huffed, feeling completely exposed. Sharding dragon was so going to get it later. She glanced at the dragons, glaring at Iyiath as she noticed the way the dragon was leaning forward, tail wagging as if he was beyond pleased with himself for getting her into this mess. “Who knew you’d go for a girl who could kick your ass with her eyes closed.”
Really NymMine, you’re terrible at this. Just admit you would happily drown in his eyes and be done with it! You’re worse than a hatchling! Iyiath once again spoke for all to hear, a mischievous tone in his voice. He knew he was going to be in trouble, but he didn’t really care. Nymari just turned a darker shade of red and turned away from him, crossing her arms stubbornly. I’m going to kill you Iye. She didn’t know how to flirt or tease when it came to crushes, she hadn’t had much experience, having always thrown her all into her knives. Kinuth, this is just too much fun!

O'rik snickered as she mentioned him being recruited to fix and build furniture in Rindell. Yeah, like that was ever going to happen, at least not if he had any say in the matter. "I think when the first bed or chair gave out and one of those oh so special higher riders fell on their not so royal asses that they would politely decline my services." He shrugged and spared a look her way. "Besides I do little things, like carvings and statues. Didn't get far enough in my lessons for furniture. Suppose I could give it a shot though. Kinuth broke the only piece of furniture in my tent the other day." The greenrider shot his bonded a quick look. Of course he was a little annoyed by it. Now all his clothes and things were scattered on his bed and the floor. His little make shift weyr was a complete mess.
Then the dragons spoke up and he was left grinning like a smug little fool. Which was a one off thing, he normally wasn't the cocky or overly confident type. "Hey!" He frowned as she leaned in once more, only this time her finger found it appropriate to jab him hard in the center of his chest. Well he should have been expecting that at the least, she didn't seem the soft cuddly type after all. O'rik scowled as he rubbed the spot where she had poked him. "It wasn't just a little snake thank you..." Why did he get the feeling that mention of the snake was always going to come up in conversation now?
"Anyways, who said anything about you being able to kick my ass? Put your toys down little girl and I'll show you what a proper take down looks like." He grinned even as he struggled to hop to his feet. Putting most of his weight on his good leg he managed to balance and went about folding the parchment and stuck it in his shorts back pocket. Was he bluffing? Oh most certainly. He was fairly confident he didn't stand a chance in his current state. Did she need to know that? Nope...not at all.
Oh but then that little pink dragon of hers had to speak up once again and leave him feeling a little embarrassed. Really he couldn't get why she would even like a little greenrider like himself. Didn't girls usually go fawn over the cocky bronzers and those nasty garnets? Ah well, he wasn't complaining, not in the slightest.
Oh it is most definitely fun! Kinuth wiggled and watched the two riders with an overly high amount of interest. Now Mine won't be so grumpy! Secrets are fun. We should do this more, RikMine. The greenrider scowled before bending to scoop up a hunk of sticky seaweed and tossed it at his dragon. Kinuth rumbled with laughter, that is until the seaweed stuck to his front leg and managed to wrap around his claws. The young dragon hopped up out of the water and shook the limb frantically but the evil sticky substance stayed put. Get it off! I don't like the sticky, get it off RikMine! With that the green took off in that awkward little run dragons do when on land, crashing through the waves and kicking up a spray of sand, as he bolted down the shoreline. As if that would help dislodge the evil sticky plant. O'rik couldn't help himself, he nearly doubled over in laughter after watching his green take off running.
