Name: Geso
Pronunciation: Guess-Oh
Age: 19
Season Born In: Winter
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Appearance: Geso stands roughly around 5'11, and weighs 230 pounds of muscle. He has brown hair and light blue eyes, which are usually narrowed in a scowl. Geso is pretty muscled, mosly from working in his punishments after fighting with the other Hold Boys. Shucking stables, unloading ships, and cleaning the wood and metal crafting workrooms has helped him gain quite a bit of muscle mass. While he doesn't have much in the way of earnings, he's managed to scrape enough together to buy some decent clothes. He usually wears a pair of cloth breeches, and a blue tunic, and on special occasions, wears a pair of soft leather pants, and a leather jacket over his tunic, with a sturdy pair of boots. Geso walks with a slight swagger, showcasing his confidence in himself, and his thin lips are usually pulled into his customary scowl.
Personality: Rebellious troublemaker or outright plague on humankind? Geso tends to lean towards the lesser of the two mostly. He doesn't really fit the norm for the average Pernese, and his violent and troublemaking ways tend to get him into punishment via manual labor, adding to his hatred to runnerbeasts, but marvelously to his well shaped body. He isn't past breaking into fist fights, or if there is a knife within reach, a knife fight, which over the years has given him more and more combat training within random areas such as dinner halls or other human establishments. He is more likely to smirk and snark at others, insulting them and trying to get a rise out of them just to see how he can push their buttons than try to make friends.
Most of his anger problems, and his dislike for everyone, was because his father was an abusive drunk and his mother ran away with another guy from another hold. Along with, because of this, bullying from the other kids he grew with a violent temper. However deep down he can be rather intelligent, when his temper isn't flaring up. He won't take crap from anyone, and if you manage to befriend him, he's perfectly willing to fight in your place and put the other guy down. Geso doesn't look up to the Dragon Riders, and makes them earn his respect just like everyone else. Amazingly irreverent, Geso isn't scared to get in anyone's faces, man, woman, or Dragon Rider. While it may seem like Geso is the standard bad boy, Geso deviates from the norm with the fact that he really has no idea how to handle women. He doesn't trust them (not that he trusts anyone) not to try and stab him in the back or leave him hanging. On the same note, he doesn't want to be anything like his dad, so he tries to resist the urge to fight girls he runs into, and he has absolutely no idea how to handle a girl crazy enough to have a crush on him. Geso finds it hard to relax, but give him a quiet place with a good breeze blowing through his hair, and you might be lucky enough to see him relax with a smile.
Family: Father: Dominic- Field Worker 45
Mother: Arisa- unknown 43
Rank: Dragon
History: Geso was born at Solace Hold, to a rather drunken and abusive man by the name of Dominc and mother Arisa. His father was, or still is, a simple field worker with long hours of hard work with little pay. Of course the man's tendency to consume vast amounts of alcohol did little to stop his hand from reddening both mother and son's hide. The only good time the father even tried to be nice to his own son by teaching him how to ride a runner beast. At least the little twerp could fetch him some nice money if he was able to win any races right? It ended in failure as the young boy got bucked off so much and hard that he got hurt, causing his dislike towards runnerbeasts, which didn't help his father's temper. During most of his younger years, his mother wasn't really part of it as she tried hard not to be at home. More and more time she spent away not even trying to really protect her own son.
By the time he turned 10 turns old, Arisa had found a new man that apparently swept her off her feet enough to make her run off away from the abusive family life. She didn't take Geso, which to him started his dislike of others because she didn't take him with her to get away from the abuse. From an early age he had to save himself, do what he needed just for himself. Forget those around him, he lived for himself and wouldn't answer to anybody who tries to tell him anything differently. The years went on though, and because his mother left them for another man of course the other kids liked to bully him. The insults quickly turned into fighting as well, since Geso didn't take crap from anyone. Sure he lost sometimes but he made sure to get them back at one point to repay the debt of losing. His temper and trouble making all just started to spiral and grow as time went on.
Because of his growing trouble-making, to almost outright crimes, Geso was put to work as punishment within the hold. Helping with the catches with the fishermen, hauling the lumber and big clunky things from the wood craft, to even helping the smithers with their heavy manual labor, is what he spent most of his life doing. Yet is was all the manual labor that actually helped him with sculpting and strengthening his body. The fighting going into knife fights sometimes helped him with moving about fast enough to keep himself from getting killed too. He could be called a giant rock wall with fast feet or something of the sort. When he got searched though, the entire hold secretly celebrated as soon as he left, thankful that the Weyr had gotten rid of him for them so things could go back to more peaceful ways.

Pet
Name: Glados
Pronunciation: Glad-ohs
Age: 1 turn
Type: Fire Lizard
Rank: Garnet Female
Size: 31 inches fully grown.
Color Codes: Red
Appearance: At first glance one might think she was not a metallic for the most part, though on closer inspection that is not the case. Each scale has a different tone, from dark red and a crimson color, giving her an almost mottled hide all over. Her body is rather lithe, her sinews of muscle can be seen under close inspection moving under her hide. The only thing that marrs her perfect hide, are the perfect small trophy scars that are littered around her body.
Personality: Glados tends to be a little bipolar, she is rather loving and cuddly with her human Geso who she considers to be fun and her man creature. But if anyone messes with her or her human pet she will show them just how angry and violent a garnet can really be, especially of the female variety.

Appearance:
Horisath is a Garnet, and everything about his body screams that fact. Forget the fact that he is colored as such of his color, he is built like a deadly thing as well. Everything is sharp about him; sharp headknobs, sharp angles, sharp tail, everything. There is nothing that seems soft around him, and his body is elongated as if it had been a smaller dragon and stretched. The Sub-King has long legs, an extremely long tail, a graceful neck, and wings that most Obsidians would die for.
Blood red is only the beginning, because out of all the dragonets in the double clutch, Horisath is probably the most decorated. Starting with a gradient of crimson red as the undertone to his entire body almost, the Garnet is laced with a complicated array of darker red, almost black in some places, snake-skin patterns and larger tiger strips. There seems to not be an inch of hide that is not covered in some sort of patterning, and even bits of his underside along his stomach and tail are faded out in a faded pinkish red star-burst pattern.
Just like the other royals in his clutch, Horisath finds himself to be a regal individual, and more than that, he is aggressive in his movements. He has a bit of self control, which is obvious in the tension that his muscles constantly hold, but there is always something seething underneath. Every movement is highly anticipated and hyper-analyzed in order to be the most effective, and nothing escapes his notice. Often the fight between the carefully reeled in personality and the primal instincts common among his color is seen as well among the tiny tail twitches or wing shuffles that he tends to do often.
Personality:
Horisarth is not your typical garnet. Yes, he has that bloodthirsty mean streak, he loves pain and enjoys seeing others in pain... He tends to wait for the opportunity and for the pain to already be on its way before jumping on it and taking advantage or enjoying it. Causing it is not as much fun as milking the wound itself. And for his, pain should be nothing! Nothing at all! There will be plenty of pain.
However, he is a bit more of a grump most of the time, often sitting and watching, making snide comments and looking at the world through his devilish eyes. He dislikes air heads and values intelligence. He always feels a need to be prepared with both knowledge and ability. He has a temper, however, which may trigger him to attack whether truly provoked or not. He may, at times, have trouble containing himself.
For all his faults, Horisarth is entirely loyal - even to a fault as it would seem. He won't betray a friend for any reason and will go out of his way to protect them. He will be the first to leap into a fight if he feels that the cause either suites his needs, benefits a friend... or is right by his own reasoning - which may not truly be right by the standards of anyone else.
Horisarth sees himself as a king and the son of only the best - Garnet Thormyth himself. He has the greatest respect for his father. He is a little bit on the insane side - not minding inflicting harm upon others or the harm that may come to himself in the very least. Pain is nothing to a king such as him and should not be to his rider either. Greater pains will always come. It is best to live with them and get used to them rather than to complain or cry about it.
Horisarth is a pessimist most of the time, generally seeing the very worst in life... and yet gaining a strange energy from it - or perhaps from the misery it causes to others. Whatever the case, he is royalty and carries himself as such, he is the protector of this Weyr. His father proved a Garnet was a king... and now he wants to prove even more.
Mind-Voice:
Oh... what delicious pain. Almost as delicious as the blood itself. Come Mine! It's time to seize the moment!

Horus Behdety was a form of Horus the Elder that was worshipped originally in the western Delta at Behdet. As the son and heir of Re, Behdety was a form of Horus that was assimilated into the Heliopolitan system of beliefs yet not completely identified with Re. Behdety was a defender of Re during his earthly kingship against Seth. He was usually portrayed as a winged sun-disk or as a falcon hovering over the Pharaoh during battles. When shown as a falcon-headed man wearing the double crown he carries a falcon-headed staff, the weapon he used to defeat Seth.
