It was now the second hatching that Linda had been through that she hadn't impressed at. Not that it really mattered if she did impress to her, but apparently they were both at least somewhat bloody and put her to the test. Nevermind the baby thing, Garnet falling out of the sky, and everything else that has happened since she came to the Weyr... Linda was at least getting plenty of experience in her chosen field of Healing, and people have noticed.
A letter had came from the Healer Hall, saying that she had shown enough to have constituted for her exam to become a Journeywoman. At first Linda didn't know what to think, she wasn't really doing all this stuff just to become a Journeywoman after all. But at the same sense it was a little nice knowing that she hadn't been forgotten or left behind. But did she do all this stuff because of it? No, she was just trying her best to do and help because... She didn't know why but apparently everyone around here was more violent then normal even her.... Maybe it was the air? She would have to check that another time.
But now, during a time when not many people were using the dining room, was when they set things up for her. It wasn't really necessary... Linda felt odd enough that people were going out of their way to do this for her... And of course making people come to watch her just walk the tables. She had to put on a dress too apparently, or that is what she was told... And now she would have to thank F'ro for it since he was the one that made it for her. But slowly she just frowned as she started to walk, Gold Hana and Obsidian Erani were both perched on her shoulders looking proud. The rest of her fair though were of course out of the way and just watching from ledges.
