Iirlia is a short, slender young woman. She stands at about five foot, one inch. Her slender build makes her look even younger than she actually is. Her long, straight, black hair falls down to about waist length in its tight braid. Her skin is a deep tan color with a sprinkling of freckles across her nose, cheekbones, shoulders, and arms. Her dark brown eyes are striking and hold a certain intensity that can be somewhat intimidating to look into when she is upset while at other times can be very captivating or gentle. They are a lovely almond shape. She has high cheekbones. Her nose is larger than most. Her lips are full, her top lip being thinner than her bottom, as per usual. They are a rather rosy pink color.
Her cheeks have a ruddy red underlying color to them that is not overly noticeable unless she blushes, but she does her best not to blush if she can help it. Although, you don’t always know if one can help it, she still tries. She has some shape to her body, despite just how thin she looks.
Personality
Fiery, determined, stubborn, they’re all words that describe her. However, leader is another that comes to mind just as quickly. She as a certain charisma about her that others desire to follow as well as the head and discipline necessary to lead. She does, however, have a tendency to rush things and may act too quickly at times when she should have waited and thought about it just a bit more. She is not one to be messed with. She has a bit of a temper that can get her into trouble at times. She is a fun loving spitfire who is used to dealing with youngsters, being the second eldest of ten children and the eldest girl kind of does that to you. However patient she may be with children, however, she is not so patient with other people or situations. If she is stressed, she has a tendency to snap at other people, whether they are children or not and often finds herself biting her tongue. She knows what she should and shouldn’t say much of time, but chooses to ignore, preferring blunt, honesty and speaking her mind over diplomacy much of the time, but, somehow, it usually works for her in the end.
She can come across as dense at times because she is way too stubborn for her own good. It is hard to change her opinion of you once she has set it and she is going to tell you what it is, no matter if it upsets you. This is in part caused by her hatred of dishonesty. If she ever catches someone in a lie, they will regret it. Due to her stubbornness, she may not let go of her anger at your, especially for dishonest, for a long time as holding a grudge is something she is quite good at. However, over time, she will forgive you. It just may take a few Turns.
She tends to be a somewhat motherly and protective, sheltering person. This has lead her to develop an absolute hate towards anyone who would harm a young child and will forever hold that person at a distance from then on, regardless of how that person may try to redeem themselves. A grudge caused for this reason is the hardest for her to forgive.
However, that’s enough talking about things she hates. Iirla is a very defined person with definitive hates and loves. For one, she loves the rain. She simply loves the sound of it, the feeling of it on her skin, and the smell after it rains. She finds it very beautiful. Another thing she loves is flitters flitters and hopes to have a few sometime in the future, though she has not been given the opportunity to have one as of yet.

History Iirlia was born to a beastcrafter father and a weaver mother as the second of what would become ten children. Her mother died in childbirth and her father died in an accident with one of his runners during a storm. She loved her family, but she would soon find herself, her eldest brother, and her siblings left alone to fend for themselves as, quickly, one after the other, her parent’s died. During this time, their uncle supposedly was looking after them. However, he did a very poor job of it, which was what left the young woman and her siblings to try to continue the crafts they had been taught and raise their family’s runners for themselves. However, due to several different problems, including their own limited knowledge, their ability to make a living for themselves, was stunted.

However, due to several different problems, including their own limited knowledge, their ability to make a living for themselves was stunted.
Their uncle could not provide for them either, his farmcraft was not doing as well now and it wasn’t long until Iirlia found her family entering into an even worse predicament as her uncle was falling increasingly into debt… And he started to sell off his nieces and nephews who were under his guardianship. They were separated. Iirlia found herself in the house of the Lord Holder of Apolla as a caretaker for his children.
After this, she started to become sick more frequently and it started to detract from her usefulness, though the Lord Holder did not get rid of her, but allowed her to stay and care for the children when she was well. She never was able to track down her siblings, nor did she try, but her brother found her while she was still caring for the Lord Holder’s many children. He was lucky and had become the son of another weaver who had helped him find her. He wanted Iirla to come with him and learn the craft their mother had practiced in her life. But, Iirlia, although she was given permission to leave if she wished, she did not. As much as she loved her siblings and would have loved to be closer to her brother who was now at a Hold on the Northern Continent, she enjoyed her life there, helping to raise the children. It was, in part, this that would help her develop further as a leader.
She continued to care for the Lord Holder’s children when she was well until her 19th Turn when she was searched to Trelis Weyr and she left the Lord Holder’s home. He allowed her to leave as he didn’t much need her at that time and a caretaker who became sick frequently was not of much use to him. Thus he simply let her leave.
It was not long into her stay when she attended a gather and bonded a little defiant sub-queen flitter who became both a close companion and an annoyance in he existance, but she loves Ama dearly all the same.
Later on, in Maeleth's hatching, she Impressed a Gold. This was something that went beyond her wildest hopes, but she feels very lucky to have her Izanycorth, or Izy for short.
Iirla's life would never be the same again. She was a queen rider and immediately... she started to feel the stress of it, despite Inali's best efforts to keep her from those feelings. It only became worse when Inali left to go to Southern and Loraketh flew while she was there, being caught by a Southern Brown. The arrogance of some of them infuriated the young queen rider and she and her dragoness would lead the other Weyrlings in opposing them.
Though, behind the scenes, but perhaps not so much so as she would have liked, Iirla's love life flew into turmoil as first S'bel and Maerath developed affections for the Queen pair and Iirla claimed to return them... only to later turn those affections to D'rian... and again, in a meeting on the beach... reveal the fact that she was very much in love with the Istan Garnet Rider, Vl'kan.
Every day brings new challenges and every day must be overcome. And yet... here comes more trouble. The Obsidian Rebellion... and the trouble of the other Weyrs and their opposition to the new colors. Iirla and Izanycorth have remained with the Weyr this far and they will continue on. Kayath and J'dol are great people and family to her. Iirla and Izanycorth are gaining in confidence and in strength as Werywoman and Weyrqueen... now that Loraketh has passed on, but Inali is still a very important person who's advice and guidance is still much loved and much needed. Though.... she understands how hard it is for her and she does her best to ease the burden on the former Werywoman... and her children and weyrmate, though it is... not without its difficulties.
The rebellion is the only hope left to Pern, it seems. Left to Trelis and even as things become more difficult, Iirla does what she can to try to help them. There is an affinity between Trelis and the Obsidian Rebellion in that they both accept and look out for the new colors. Iirla would do anything to protect her own dragoness as well and as blame falls further and further on the bloodline of her dragon and her dragon's mother... Things seem to be becoming even more tense. What else will there be to come upon them? Threadfall is bad enough without everythign else.

This large blue male should definitely be proud of his size. Even though he is among the smaller firelizards, he is definitely large for his color. Speaking of color, this blue firelizard's hide is a deep, midnight blue in color with strange, light blue stripes all along his body and wings that look like waves. When he flies, it seems as though these strange markings are moving, and it is truly an interesting thing to watch.
Personality:
He might be large, but this firelizard is not as lazy as one might think. Instead he is a very hard worker, and is also very persistent. He won't give up until he is absolutely sure there is nothing he could possibly do any more. In other words he'd work until his wings and tail fell off. He is also a very gentle, very loving male who has a tendency to over love. In other words he can love someone too much to the point that he almost smothers them with all his love.

Appearance Izanycorth is petite and quite small for a gold, though not so small as for her size to be unheard of amongst others of her color. Her wings are a bit long for her, which may lend her well when it is finally her time to fly. However, in addition, her limbs are long and add a particularly graceful appearance to her. ALthough petite in build and beautiful in how she is constructed, Izanycorth is not so pleased with her hide.
Her hide is primarily a pale gold with markings of several different shades. These include the green-gold markings such as the one under her neck which likely bothers her the most. This also includes orange-gold, which does not bother her as much... but the burnt nearly bronze color that makes her side marking also bothers her a great deal from time to time. Her tail and her head and neck are primarily a pale gold color.
Personality Izanycorth is probably most known by many of her siblings for throwing a fit on the sands after her birth. She is generally jealous of her sister Chahaturth and even Loraketh. She doesn't feel like the Queen she should be, which only lends itself to her self-conscious side that she does not generally allow to show outwardly. In fact, however, when she does feel self-conscious... She generally lashes out. She is envious of the other females who seem to fit their color better. She envies Loraketh and even Kayath. Envy is simply a part of her personality, another trait which feeds into her temper for she is quite short tempered.
She is rather prideful and somewhat vain and does not think much of letting it show. Her tendency is to take out her frustrations on others, which can be somewhat of a mess for the two of them to clean up later, though Izanycorth sees little reason to clean it up...
Her rather unsure nature and her overall lack of backbone can be remedied by a certain devious side. Though it is not so much devious as it can be her taking out her frustrations on others yet again. She has come to deal with her unsure side by turning her hatred and loathing towards others, something which is likely going to hurt her later in life.
However... for all this, Izanycorth doesn't even want or like being a Queen. She'll never say so, however, but her truest desire is to have fun and to simply be free. Something that she knows she may never experience. She feels trapped in her position. Though she has found one dragon who seems to see her either as less of a Queen or is simply so full of himself that he doesn't care that she is.

Izanycorth's voice varies in its sound from sweet and innocent with a childish flavor to angry, irate and grating, to a very gentle, childish, unsure sound with a rather melodic inflection. It was the Gold's turn. She'd had enough of waiting, there was sand and egg goo all over her, and her stomach hurt. The little Queen sighed. She knew fully how much of a brat she'd been acting, but it didn't mean she resented it. They shouldn't laugh, they shouldn't jest. She was a Queen after all! The Gold looked at her mother, and then at the shining form in the stands of the WeyrQueen. Loraketh crooned, moving her muzzle to motion toward the girl candidates.
Fine, it was time then. Her tail and wings drooping, the little Gold walked around. Who though? There were few females left. Perhaps waiting so long wasn't the best thing then? She glared at her Topaz sibling as she walked by. Everyone loved her. It's not that she was an attention seeker, she just was confused. Why didn't they love her too? Why were the bronzes only half-way paying attention. There wasn't even much of a greeting for her!
Hissing, the Gold let the fury boil in her for a moment, and suddenly lunged toward a girl that tried to get too close...and she stopped. No! This wasn't right. Shaking her head and crooning sadly at the badly shaken girl, the Gold keened for Hers. She wanted this to be over. She hated that she wasn't a proper Gold. Couldn't she just slip away and not look back? Couldn't she just not be a Queen?
Yes, that thought crossed her mind. Why was she dealing with the pressure, the instant expectation that she had to behave? Why couldn't she find Hers and go exploring outside? She wanted to see things. Angry again at her inability to do what she actually wanted, the Gold lashed her tail around. Where was her rider! The Queen trotted down the line of girls again, hissing as one girl tried to place a hand on her. Not you! The girl drew back, tears forming in her eyes.
Shaking her head, the Gold stopped and keened again. Mine?.....Iirla! Where have you been?!? I've been looking all over for you, I'm a mess, I've made a fool of myself multiple times, they expect me to be so much better than this! Running toward the girl, the Gold barreled her over and nuzzled her head against Iirla's chest. IirlaMine, take your Izanycorth away please, I'm hungry. I want food, and I want to get out of here. I hate this...always being scrutinized. Do they not see that I am a Queen, that I'm a true Queen? I am not some random event and happenstance.
The dragonet's voice didn't reach anyone but her rider once she pushed her over. To many, the going-on between the two would be completely unknown except for the rider and dragonet's body language. This large blue male should definitely be proud of his size. Even though he is among the smaller firelizards, he is definitely large for his color. Speaking of color, this blue firelizard's hide is a deep, midnight blue in color with strange, light blue stripes all along his body and wings that look like waves. When he flies, it seems as though these strange markings are moving, and it is truly an interesting thing to watch.
Personality:
He might be large, but this firelizard is not as lazy as one might think. Instead he is a very hard worker, and is also very persistent. He won't give up until he is absolutely sure there is nothing he could possibly do any more. In other words he'd work until his wings and tail fell off. He is also a very gentle, very loving male who has a tendency to over love. In other words he can love someone too much to the point that he almost smothers them with all his love.

Appearance Izanycorth is petite and quite small for a gold, though not so small as for her size to be unheard of amongst others of her color. Her wings are a bit long for her, which may lend her well when it is finally her time to fly. However, in addition, her limbs are long and add a particularly graceful appearance to her. ALthough petite in build and beautiful in how she is constructed, Izanycorth is not so pleased with her hide.
Her hide is primarily a pale gold with markings of several different shades. These include the green-gold markings such as the one under her neck which likely bothers her the most. This also includes orange-gold, which does not bother her as much... but the burnt nearly bronze color that makes her side marking also bothers her a great deal from time to time. Her tail and her head and neck are primarily a pale gold color.
Personality Izanycorth is probably most known by many of her siblings for throwing a fit on the sands after her birth. She is generally jealous of her sister Chahaturth and even Loraketh. She doesn't feel like the Queen she should be, which only lends itself to her self-conscious side that she does not generally allow to show outwardly. In fact, however, when she does feel self-conscious... She generally lashes out. She is envious of the other females who seem to fit their color better. She envies Loraketh and even Kayath. Envy is simply a part of her personality, another trait which feeds into her temper for she is quite short tempered.
She is rather prideful and somewhat vain and does not think much of letting it show. Her tendency is to take out her frustrations on others, which can be somewhat of a mess for the two of them to clean up later, though Izanycorth sees little reason to clean it up...
Her rather unsure nature and her overall lack of backbone can be remedied by a certain devious side. Though it is not so much devious as it can be her taking out her frustrations on others yet again. She has come to deal with her unsure side by turning her hatred and loathing towards others, something which is likely going to hurt her later in life.
However... for all this, Izanycorth doesn't even want or like being a Queen. She'll never say so, however, but her truest desire is to have fun and to simply be free. Something that she knows she may never experience. She feels trapped in her position. Though she has found one dragon who seems to see her either as less of a Queen or is simply so full of himself that he doesn't care that she is.

Izanycorth's voice varies in its sound from sweet and innocent with a childish flavor to angry, irate and grating, to a very gentle, childish, unsure sound with a rather melodic inflection. Generally, her words are smooth and easily understood and her voice is as well, though there is always a sharp edge hidden somewhere in there.
