Seriously he shouldn't have even tried to come out here, what was he thinking ruining his clothes, his hair.. and his nails... UGH!!! and the two Huntyres of his weren't being very helpful as they flew amongst the trees. He just HAD to go through and see what the area was like that was their homeland... Yes brilliant idea Jessee just what you always wanted mud in your shoes and hair full of twigs and leaves. Jessee snarled a bit and pulled his vest closer to him along with his scarf.
The rainbow and sunset Huntyres of his though just dove in and out of the branches, chittered softly as they watched their human slowly progressively destroy himself.. At least one of them thought that. They didn't know what this place was, they were hatched in his hands pretty much far far away from here but it was a nice place that the weather felt nice at least... Right?

A swim sounds delightful, does it not? Jalith's voice was a calm but loud in the back of C'yin's mind, causing him to jump in surprise. He had been so focused on decorating the blue's harness with decorative baubles that he had completely zoned out from the world around him. Only then did he notice how hot it was. The dragonet, one of few words to begin with, always tended to surprise him when he spoke. "Huh? Yes, I suppose it does, my friend." C'yin asked, looking over at his partner and feeling only amusement in response. Shrugging in indifference, C'yin stretched, rose, and grabbed a towel. Now that Jalith was large enough to ride, it was a quick trip to the nearby river, and it didn't take C'yin long to strip down to his shorts and, after piling his things rather haphazardly on the riverbank, dive in. Jalith followed at a slower pace and the two were content to merely float about and enjoy the cool waters. It was certainly a good way to beat the heat! "Aah, look up there Jalith... that cloud looks like a trundlebug."

Jessee was purely and utterly livid as he was trying to find the river, his two birds were no help whatsoever... He should really tell the Weyr to put in pathways and make this area more comfortable to walk through. Menek Chortled a little bit down below at his two subjects as he flew up higher in the sky. The rainbow caught site of a blue hide and frowned, new subjects? Slowly he made his way over before he chirped Demandedly as he tried to land on the human's head.
Akesha though watched as Menek went off in the direction and softly trilled towards Jessee before she went to follow. The Sunset wasn't about to let him really hog the entire spot light... nor leave their human behind. Jessee just grumbled about stupid birds better not be leading him into a trap as he started to follow... Only to stop when he saw a human and a Dragon with Menek pestering them apparently...

C'yin... Were you aware that a huntyre of some nature has chosen your face as a roost? Would you consider that normal behaviour? You must explain it to me. Blue eyes whirled curiously as Jalith eyes the rainbow. His rider hadn't seemed to notice the intrusion, but frankly, C'yin just didn't care enough to put up a fight. It appears you are right. Wonder who's it is? He gave a mental call to his own flit, the little white Lehr, who quickly appeared and landed on the top of Jalith's head as C'yin tried to figure out if his pet knew the bird. Finally, after a moment of feeling like he wasn't breathing enough, the weyrling finally shook his head and tried to right himself in the water.
"Where are you from, you pretty little thing you?" His glass earring shone in the sunlight as he moved, and he glanced about, pinpointing the location of someone after some help from Jalith. Cocking his head to the side, he smiled warmly and waved. "Might this charming little guy be yours?"

Menek just huffed as he was finally shooed off, his perch kept on moving on him so he just started to chitter a little scold before going nearby up onto a branch. He wouldn't let this get the better of him, oh no he would just groom himself and pretend he wanted to come to the branch. Akesha however just landed on another branch as she trilled out softly in greeting to preen herself. She wasn't as demanding of him so she would get the spotlight by being nice.. oh yes yes this was much much better after all.
Jessee however stopped as he came to the side of the river with a little panting, a pout on his face. Oh dear someone got to see him in all his detestably dirty glory... Quickly he tried to dust himself off before giving a graceful bow. "Yes I am terribly sorry about him, his name is Menek and the Sunset over there is Akesha. My name is Jessee, I hope he did not harm you or your dragon."

Oh look, the pretty birds were just everywhere, weren't they? C;yin simply grinned up at the two of them, taking in their plumage and already imagining little glass earrings based off their colours. It took him a moment, and a little nudge from Jalith, before C'yin turned his attention to Jessee, not even noticing the man's mildly disheveled state.
"Lovely names for lovely birds." He nodded happily, giving Jessee a welcoming smile. "Harm? No not at all. I think he made me out to be a nest, or perhaps a branch. I'm not quite sure." He gave a carefree shrug. Who was he to tell a bird where it could or couldn't sit. Jalith reached over to give him a nudge as C'yin fell into a rather lengthy silence, pondering the little birds and their antics.
"Oh, whoops. I'm C'yin, and this is Jalith." The blue dipped his head briefly in greeting before returning his gaze upward. A quiet chittering in his ear reminded him that introductions were not yet over yet, and with a little humm of amusement, C'yin pluched the white flit off his shoulder and held him out for Jessee to see. "This is Lehr, my little friend. Oh, would you like to join me? The water is wonderful and the clouds beg to be watched."
