She grinned and pulled his hand to rest over her heart. "You are to me, Brownrider," she said softly, smiling at him. He never believed her though... or at least she didn't think he did. But.... she couldn't make him believe her. "Do you believe that?" she asked him softly, gently raising his hand to her face and looking at him with a very open and soft expression.
She smiled. "Well... When do you want me to... hmm...?" she asked him, her tone slightly playful. She was more than happy he had asked her. In fact, she was just plain excited as it was. She held onto his hand, but she let it move back to wherever he wanted it to be.
"I'm sure he can... and maybe if he doesn't warm up to me anytime soon... he may at least warm up to Anna..." She brushed her hair behind her ear, blushing quite a bit. She felt like a young girl in love... for the first time, actually... she had never experienced such a thing before, honestly...
Anori appeared then and landed on her shoulder with a croon.

J’degar grumbled, glancing awkwardly around the corridor. She was being so… so sappy! He wasn’t quite sure how to respond, and for a moment he was only able to look down on her awkwardly, searching for the right thing to say. “I think you’re insane to believe yourself sometimes, but I suppose… if I didn’t believe you I wouldn’t be asking you to do this.” He wasn’t entirely comfortable with her taking control of his hand; he didn’t want any passerbys to think he’d gone soft.
“I… whenever you want, woman. You practically live there already,” He huffed. He was still trying to get over how utterly nerve wracking that had been… and he hadn’t even had to ask her, she’d figured it out on her own. “Your belongings won’t have their own place until the chest comes in.” He shrugged. In J’degar’s mind, she wasn’t officially moved in until her things were moved in, so giving an actual date was quite impossible. He left his hand where it was for a time, until someone passed too close and he reflexively dropped his hand.
“I’m sure he’ll grow fond of her,” he shrugged, eyeing Anori. “I suppose this means I’ll have to learn to live with a flit huh…” he wondered how Milly would take to having to share her space with another pet.

She just laughed and shook her head. That was just Gar. Soemtimes it could be annoying... but she was too happy right now to be annoyed or to argue wit him about it. If he thought she was crazy, Faranth, what did that make him?
She grinned. "Well... I suppose it can't really be official until I can move my things in... but I think that we have spent every night in some time in your weyr... So... you are very right, Gar," her voice grew soft as she looked around again to make sure there weren't too many people about.
Just because Gar dropped his hand didn't mean that Assaila had let go, she still had a light tentative hold on him and she watched the person pass somewhat impassively.
"I certainly hope so... And I hope he'll at least not hate me... or see me as stealing you from him." She squeezed his hand softly. She grinned. "Oh... Anori won't bother you... He'll probably spend most of his time with Syph or Anna anyways... or bothering me for neglecting him..."

He chuckled slightly, letting his hand remain in hers despite his discomfort when it came to public displays of affection. After all, holding hands wasn't too bad and the corridor wasn't too busy. He wondered how long it would take for gossip to spread though... sure neither of them were big names in the Weyr (at least as far as he was aware) but gossip was gossip.
"He'll either come to like you, or learn to deal with it." J'degar shrugged, a lack of varing evident in his voice. Sure, he and his son were close, they always would be, but it didn't mean the brownrider was going to care too deeply about the boy's relationships. "As long as he doesn't expect me to fawn over him we'll be okay."
{Sorry so short ;-;}

She smiled warmly and looked at him, giving his hand a squeeze. "Well... I don't think he'll expect it.. but he may not be so happy..." She looked at him a bit worried then turned to look in the general direction of the weyr. "So... what do you want to do...?" she asked him, giving his hand another squeeze. "Perhaps get some rest?"
She wanted to be closer to him. She wanted to kiss him, but of course they weren't going to do that again while htey were in public... there was no way that he would allow it.
She pulled at him gently towards his weyr where they often rested. She wanted some time for just the two of them.

"He's not a child anymore. He'll learn to get over it." He followed her gaze, wondering why she looked worried of all things. Was she perhaps... second guessing moving in with him? had he rushed into things? Was she uncomfortable? When did relationships get so hard!
"Rest? I've been resting for days." He replied, a look of obvious confusion crossing his features. "I really could use some exercize." He didn't move as she started pulling at him, but after a moment it dawned on him that 'rest' might not necessarily mean sleep; perhaps she just wanted some privacy for this conversation. Or maybe it was... His feet betrayed him and he found himself following her, a sheepish look on his face.

She smiled at him, looking at him and, looking around carefully, placed a hand on his face. "I'm sure you're right." Her worry started to melt away and she grinned at him, her happiness obviously written on her face.
She was glad when he started to allow her to pull him towards his weyr. "Well... that can be arranged, I think... If you want it..." She smiled and tugged at him again. "I'm so glad you asked me to move in with you, Gar..." she said softly as they headed down the corridors to his weyr.
She stopped as they came to his door and looked at him with a small smile. "What would you like... rest... or exercise... or a bit of both..?" she asked him, raising an eyebrow. She was being silly and she knew it. She rather hoped that he would carry her in this time...

It didn't take long to get to the weyr and Gar spent most of the walk simply nodding as Assaila spoke. He was, of course, thrilled that she had agreed to move in with him, but he couldn't find the words to tell her that - not right now at least. No, right now he was too busy silently celebrating his success.
He blinked in surprise for a moment as he found them suddenly in front of his weyr door. Had they been walking fast? Or had he really just zoned out that much. Either way, they were there now and Assaila was making suggestions that J'degar couldn't help but nod his head to. Really, she was going to be the death of him.
"I think she should go inside before getting too deep in discussion." He spoke quietly, turning to scoop her up over his shoulder before heading into the Weyr. Suddenly getting some 'rest' with his lady didn't sound like such a bad idea. All in all, this had turned out to be a good day.
{Aaaand I think we're good to end here? ^^}

She smiled at him. "I think that sounds like a wonderful idea..." she said softly, giving a sigh as he picked her up. "You didn't have to put me over your shoulder you know..." She put a hand on her chin as she laughed again. Oh Gar... he was generally something else. There was no one like him. No one at all. He was incredible in her mind.
She grinned as he set her down and reached for him, wrapping her arms around him. "I love you Gar..." she whispered softly to him, reaching to kiss him. He was hers and she was his. That was that.
{Sorry that this is so short.... but... probably better cut off here... x3}
