{OOC: Remember Folks, winner gets the position of Junior Weyrleader!}
Kayath's eyes shot open as her rider thought of the sunset. Had he just implied that a sunset was more brilliant than her? A fierce roar ripped through her throat as she stood, angry red eyes glaring down at her rider. How dare he be down there instead of with her. How dare she be left alone day and night. She growled next at a passing male. They too, had not given her what she needed.
Suddenly she was airborne, not remembering when she had taken off, or why. All she knew was that the only thing on her mind was sating the incredible fire in her belly. Kayath landed on a herdbeast, tearing a chunk of flesh from its back before her rider's voice shot through her mind, demanding that she drink its blood. Commanding HER? She roared in defiance, swallowing the chunk of meat and moving to tear another bite. His command returned again, louder this time and Kayath swung her head to the side, sending the beast flying. No matter, soon another one was in her mouth and she growled as the warm blood ran down her throat. Another beast followed, and a third after that, each one taking less fighting to blood.
Not even the sun can outshine me! I am the best. I am the brightest, the prettiest, the most perfect on all Pern. Show yourselves! You who would dare think yourselves worthy! She roared, her voice echoing off the Weyr walls as she launched herself into the air, her large wings easily lifting her bulky form into the skies. The very sunset she was fighting with cast her hide in a myriad of hues, and each stroke of her wings made her shining hide dance with colour. Tonight, I am your queen!
J'dol stumbled away from Ara as the onslaught of his dragon's emotions reached him. "Shards!" He couldn't help but gasp, at the anger and hunger he felt. This was it, she was rising. He clutched at the side of his head, remembering the lessons and already fighting for control. Blood it Kayath. You idiot BLOOD IT! He wouldn't back down, not in this, and soon enough he could feel and taste the warm blood Kayath was drinking. The thought normally would have sickened him, but right now he couldn't stop himself from licking his lips in delight.
He wanted to let himself go, let his dragoness take over his mind as he knew she would, but where he was, right outside the dance tent, was not a good place... not that there was a weyr nearby that he would make it too. Still clutching his head, he stumbled away as quickly as he could, forgetting all about Ara. There was an outcropping of trees nearby... if he could just make it there...
A bestial groan, almost a roar, escaped him as Kayath rose, screaming her challenge to the males of Trelis. Go Kayath... Fly far, fly high... He thought to her, though she was far beyond hearing him anymore. He leaned against the tree thankfully as Kayath gained more control of his thoughts. A smirk pulled at the corner of his mouth, his eyes already filling with lust. His mates were coming... He licked his lips hungrily.

It is time.
The Bronze lifted his head, his eyes alight with purple and red. S'vrin jerked awake, his mind foggy and a desire clawing and his stomach. All around him people were running to get back into either a tent or the Weyr, holders screaming as the unknown feelings of a mating flight raked across their minds. It was a raw sort of passion, something tha S'vrin loved. Too bad she's one of them and not a true Queen.
Nonsense, as long as she is flying she is a Queen. She will clutch and bring more fighters for our cause, and we will win and then we will win in Izanycorth's flight as well. However, this is all about Kayath, not her sister.
Launching from his own blooded kill the Bronze let out a trumpet and arced his wings down against the earth to lift into the skies after the Topaz. He followed her faithfully, making a turn for everyone she did, letting his body guide itself into the normal form of a chasing male. Of course you are my Queen. How could I be so blind to your beauty before? A Gold has nothing compared to you. You are more perfect than Faranth herself.
As his lifemate found Kayath in the sky, S'vrin searched the gather for J'dol. It wasn't the his first choice of bedmate, but little mattered once the flight had started. Catching the young man's form, he followed the Junior into the forest, stopping a few yards away from him and leaning against his own tree. "Guess it's just you and me for now boy."
Ara stiffened as the feelings back-lashed from Kayath to the rest of the Weyr. Lips parted briefly as Ara thought to call out to the topazrider to not allow her to gorge, but the concentrated look on J'dol's face told her that she had taught him well. Soon the gleaming hide of the first Topaz to be hatched shot into the air, and others quickly followed suit. Ara could feel Avirith back further into her own cave and wiggle her tail. This is going to be fun...oops, there goes you guy.
Indeed J'dol was running away, toward the forest. The greenrider was caught between following and sticking close to him just in case like she had promised and letting herself leave him. On the one hand she could follow and then he might choose her instead, like if S'vrin or Ar'rex dragons caught Kayath. On the other, he would just chase her away or choose another and she would be left for one of the losers. What if I go though and he thinks later I was being too possesive, or what if I don't and then he thinks I broke my word and left him for one of them that he didn't want?
I don't know AraMine. What do you want me to do, chase her too? Never done it before, but I can always try and take a whack at it. Alyara let out a little laugh at her dragoness and shook her head, finally having a decision made. She followed as S'vrin caught her eye, staying behind the other male and female riders that were chasing, but still keeping J'dol in her sight. I won't leave him, not if there's a chance he'll need me. Who knows what might happen. The greenrider narrowed her eyes as the bronzerider taunted her lover, and she shook her head. "Not quite, and not for long S'vrin."
The bronzerider flicked his eyes to her for a moment and growled a response before turning his attention back on J'dol. "You shouldn't be here." Ara swallowed, holding her arms against herself with fingers balled into tight fists. I hope I did the right thing...I can always leave if he tells me to himself.

Kayath rises.
Banemith eyes shot open, swirling purple with lust. He turned to his rider, who groaned. Again, Banemith? G'daro said to him, Look, I know you have to do this, but I don't think I'm ready to become a leader yet. Banemith gently nudged his rider with his nose and said to him: Do not worry, G'daroMine, every think will work out somehow. Besides, I practiced with Peniath's flight.
G'daro gazed into Banemith's eyes. He had never seen them up close. Swirling, changing, the colors mixing together. G'daro nodded, he now knew what must be done. Go get her, Banemith! Fly high and soar to victory! he told Banemith. Banemith gave out a roar and took off. G'daro shielded his eyes form the sun as he watched Banemith fly into the sky. Now comes the hard part, waiting. G'daro thought.
Once in the air, Banemith made his presence known. I challenge, my mistress! Your hide is brighter than the sun itself! he cried out. This was his true test, a test of speed and agility. But also, it was a test of stamina. He beat his wings furiously as she climbed. Would he and his rider be chosen for the honor of Junior Weyrleader? Or will the Topaz choose another? Only time will tell....

Kaith's head shot up as Kayath began to rise, and his eyes whirled in excitement. Aha, now this was something interesting. He finally had a reason to show off his flying skills to a worthy opponent, and hopefully, it would get R'hard to think about something other than the obsidianrider for once. He was still moping over her, and Kaith was quite sick of it by now. Surely, this was a brilliant plan. He roared his own challenge to the topaz and leaped into the sky after her.
Down on the ground, R'hard did not agree with his dragon's assessment that chasing the Junior Weyrwoman's (Weyrman?) dragon was a "brilliant plan". No, Kaith, not a good idea! He argued, a bit panic-stricken as he tried to decide what to do now. Kayath's rider was disappearing into a somewhat-private stand of trees, and though he had no real desire to follow him, he found himself standing under the trees with a small group of riders anyway. It wasn't like he had anywhere else to go.
Faranth, he was going to kill Kaith if he actually managed to catch Kayath. He did not have the ambition, much less the experience, to be Junior Weyrleader, and with Kayath's rider being a man, he'd have had zero interest in the other consequence of the flight even if he hadn't still been missing Aela. Yet despite all his mental protests, Kaith's lust and excitement began to overwhelm him, and he shot a glance at J'dol as Kaith competed with the bronze and the other brown above them.

Amiith's head snapped up from where he had been laying. She was flying. The topaz sub-queen. The junior Weyrqueen was flying! And he would chase her! he would show her and sing to her and prove to her that he thought her entirely incredible and the most beautiful thing there ever was. He looked over to where his rider was. Mine. I chase. Follow Hers or go to your Gl'wein! I will not be deterred! His voice was a hiss and his mind became more and more feral with time. Samara sighed, feeling herself drawn in J'dol's direction, as much as she would rather have found Gl'wein... though she was sure he would be there... She was almost sure, anyways. But she had little time for wondering. As her dragon launched himself into the air, her mind was wrenched from his grasp and her mind was pulled up into the skies with him. She found herself standing in a grove of trees. She gave S'vrin a look of disdain, but with that, she gave her focus to J'dol. Right now... Amiith needed her to focus. Amiith hissed as he launched himself into the air, his great brown wings beating at it with a great down stroke to gain height and pull himself as close to the rising queen as he could. Most glorious Kayath, queen of skies, queen of Pern, queen of every queen, Amiith will humbly accept your challenge and begs that he may yet praise you further. You and your glories. He crooned to her. He would have a lot to prove, he was sure, to be worthy in her eyes. To even come close to please her. To proving himself to her. --- --- --- --- --- --- J'mol groaned. Oh joy. Vaarinth wanted to chase his SON'S dragoness. J'mol, however, did not enter the forests where he had seen J'dol go and instead... headed back towards his weyr or someone more private and away from his son and from the crowd. He wished J'dol and Kayath only the best. However... He was wondering why it was that Vaarinth of all dragons had to chase his own son's dragon! Most glorious queen! I will take your challenge! I will sing your praises! the blue called to her... --- --- --- --- --- --- R'vi nfound himself following J'dol into the forests the moment that Kayath had reached for the skies as his own dragon, though likely yet to young to win took off after her, crooning and growling at once. Kayath! Beauty of all Pern! he called to her, chasing after her with vigor, not knowing as he was so young to conserve his energy for later or to be prepared for the battle that a flight honestly was.

Solarith tilted his head to the darkening sky as a thunderous roar echoed through the Weyr, nearly shaking the very walls themselves. A call like that only meant one thing and one thing only. A rising female, a flight! Pulling himself to his feet the bronze shook himself once while he still searched the skies above for this mistress who was beckoning him to her challenge.
A flash of orange, more dazzling then the setting sun, soon caught his eye and he knew just who was stirring things up long before her voice snapped into his mind and the minds of every other Trelis male. Well he couldn't very well let this call go unheeded. He was a king afterall! With a bugle of his own added to the mix the scarred king launched himself from the Heights and dropped into the pen of already terrified herdbeasts.
After filling his gullet with the blood from two decently sized animals, Solarith launched himself skywards with a single fell of his powerful wings and quickly moved to catch up to the twisting Kayath. My Queen Kayath, for you have always been my queen, your Solarith has answered your challenge! Let us chase this setting sun together. There were others, of course there were, but already the older bronze was paying them little mind.
S'val groaned as he felt the all too familiar sensation wash over him through the link he shared with Solarith. A female-no, their Junior Queen was rising now of all times? The bronzerider groaned, shaking his head even though the heavy onset of flight lust was already beginning to set in. Well it was too late to turn back now even if he wanted to. So before he even had a chance to think that he was getting too old for this, the partially blind rider was growling through gritted teeth as he made his way through the gather crowd in search of either J'dol or someone who would be helping him deal with this flightlust when this ordeal eventually came to a close. Well well well, wasn't she popular now. Bronzes, browns, even a few blues had shown up thinking they had what it took to match her. As if! They were fools, all of them. She rose, her muscular wings beating strongly as she gained height, attempting to rival the sun itself. She wanted to distance herself from her chasers. Their flowery compliments earned a croon of approval, but it would take more than the truth of her beauty to win her affections.
Reaching the height of her first climb, she hovered momentarily, looking back at her beloved chasers. Well, their words were pretty, she should really show a few of them how happy she felt. Tucking her wings, she dropped towards the pack of males, unfurling her wings at the last minute to glide above them in the opposite directions. A claw traced lovingly over Amiith's back while her tail caressed first Banemith and then both blues. As she passed overhead.
Kaith received a cold stare. Where was his praise? Did he think to get her attention by staying silent while his competitors called for her? Well, he had better prove himself! Kaith wasn't the only one ignored however. Both bronzes received the cold shoulder as well. Hmph! As if she was just a regular, boring queen who would tuck her wings for the first bronze to come along. They would have to work harder to get her favor. She swerved, heading away from the Weyr and her chasers, keeping low in the sky for now.
Sweet words from sweet males. her voice caressed each male's mind as she continued her low flight; the instinct to fly higher hadn't yet kicked in. But, when all is said and done, which of you will continue to sing my praise? She picked up the pace; this was a test of endurance. Her flight took them over the forest and river, and out towards the ocean where she finally began her accent again.
J'dol grinned as his chasers began trickling in one by one. That S'vrin was among the first there didn't surprise the human part of J'dol, but a few of the other riders did. He eyed each one hungrily. Man, woman, gender mattered little to him normally, so he was more than delighted to be given a full array of choices. Oooh.. and a few of them even looked quite uncomfortable with being there. Somehow that made him shiver, though in his haze he couldn't quite understand why.
As it was, the riders gathered around had already begun to blur in his mind, his vision shifting between them and the sky. He purred, low in his throat, as Kayath crooned at the males far above before slinking towards the gathered men and women, each step cocky as he wound his way through his potential mates. He tried to touch each as he passed. A gentle touch along R'hard's back, a nudge to R'vin. Some of his other chasers hadn't seemed to arrive yet it seemed. They had better hurry!

Banemith shivered as the topaz's tail caressed him. Oh, how he wanted her! Kayath, my queen, your call is so lovely! he called to her. His wings slowed to a glide, as the topaz led him and the other males in a somewhat low altitude. He turned to look at the other chasers. There were two browns, two bronzes, and two blues.
He grumbled at the sight of the bronzes. They were the star athletes of the Weyr, always getting the girls. But, he remembered the moment the green Peniath chose him during her maiden flight. He picked up his pace and got to the middle of the pack. Over the forest, the river and the ocean they went, the topaz not yet climbing to gain height. He was worried, would she make a bad choice?
On the ground, G'daro followed the others to where the topaz's rider was. He looked to the sky, hoping to see a glimpse of him, but he wasn't there. He shut his eyes, hoping that the topaz did not hurt his friend.

Though annoyed slightly by receiving the topaz's cold shoulder, Kaith was not deterred. So she wanted praise and flowery compliments, did she? He could do that.
I fear I am not the best with words, my queen, but your beauty has left me virtually speechless. There is no dragoness in all of Pern that compares to you, he purred. He pumped his wings harder, hoping to gain on his competitors and get closer to the topaz beauty. He was more determined to impress her than ever.

Cozyirth bit back a hiss as Kayath closed in on the chasers, daring to try and touch them without being caught. He had to admit, the movement did quite a few things. What a spledid action my Queen. Encouraging those that usually do not get the encouragement while making it clear ones like myself need to work even harder. I will answer any challenge you give. He pumped his broad wings against the air, sending him higher and forward.
The male ended up near the middle of the pack just as Banemith had, and the Bronze hissed in the younger dragon's direction. He kept to himself though, his red and purple eyes the only clue as to how strained he was. It was more important to follow the dragoness however, and Cozyirth did it faithfully, turning into every movement she did, going out over the ocean. The larger males would have an advantage here over open thermals, of that he was sure.
S'vrin likewise was moving slightly to and fro as J'dol did, but wasn't that just the dance the riders did on the ground. As the Topazrider moved farther into the forest or closer to the gather, his chasers went along. He made a low growl at the irritating girl as she slunk behind a tree that he was near, smiling when she ran off a bit. The smile fell though as she stayed put, not so near but still close by. Rolling his eyes the bronzerider focused on J'dol again, waiting to see what the pair would do next.

Es’ra and Wraith had been out scouting making sure that the Rebellion wasn’t trying to sneak up and attack them whilst they weren’t prepared. But when he heard Wraith growl with a sort of strange purr mixed into it, he knew something was up. What is it Wraith? The only response he got from the large male beneath him was an overwhelming lust, a lust that could only be caused by a female who was rising. Damn, where is the rider? He didn’t need a verbal answer from his dragon to know that he would take him to where the rider was. Though it surprised him to see that the other riders of the chasing dragons were heading into a small outcropping of trees that stood clustered near where the dancing tent had been set up. He believed that this had to be the strangest place for the rider of a rising female to be found but hey.
Es’ra jogged into the outcropping, and it didn’t take him long to find the other riders. They were gathered around one person, someone that came to great surprise to him. So Kayath flies huh? This should be interesting. A small smirk crossed his lips as the thought passed through his mind. He watched J’dol with hungry eyes, slowly succumbing to his dragon’s lust. If only he were only a she. He didn’t like to think of spending a night with another male, but he still had to wait and see if Wraith would win this flight first. Though it wouldn’t surprise him if the older dragon did eventually win, after all, Wraith was seven turns old and had the experience of many flights that the other, younger, dragons didn’t have. Oh yes, this definitely promised to be very interesting indeed.
Wraith beat the sky with his bracken brown wings in an attempt to catch up to the other dragons. Come now my Queen, surly you won't let the honeyed words of those hatchlings cloud your judgment. After all, you are the smartest dragon to ever hatch on Pern are you not? His words were meant for Kayath, and her only. Now that he had caught up with the others he flew almost silently near the back of the group of dragons, and wouldn’t have been surprised if none of the others even knew the older dragon joined the flight. And that suited him just fine. Kayath’s knowledge of him being there was enough for him. After all, wasn’t that what this entire flight was about? He talked no more to the topaz queen that know lit up the world with her beauty, instead he followed behind and bided his time. She would make her choice when she was ready, and not any sooner.

So she speaks. At last Solarith felt the young queens voice bump against his mind and he rumbled lightly, pleased at being noticed. Though it would seem that moment of pleasure would be short lived as the bright topaz blatantly ignored the older bronze. Solarith huffed to himself as he banked to the right and barred his fangs at a blue who drew too close.
So that was her game was it? Toy with the younglings and throw the cold shoulder to the older kings and subs? Well it would seem he would have to fly a little harder if sweet nothings were failing to draw her eye. The bronze grunted as his wings pumped a little harder in his mission to follow her every lead. He leaned and twisted through the air as they passed over ever thinning trees till eventually there was nothing but dark blue waters below. Fly far my queen, your praises will never be far behind.
S'val had wound his way through the gather crowd and found himself stumbling through a break in the trees. There was a mass of riders already there but by now he saw only flashes of blues, browns, bronze, and topaz. The half blind rider felt the muscles in his shoulders tighten as he glanced over the competition circling around the flash of orange that was J'dol.

Not even the sun can outshine me! I am the best. I am the brightest, the prettiest, the most perfect on all Pern. Show yourselves! You who would dare think yourselves worthy!
The Sub-Queen's words echoed in Maerath's head. The bronze had been laying on some rocks, letting the setting sun warm his hide, when the words came. He raised his head slowly, eyes wary, waiting for the shape of Kayath to come.
Her form came blasting out of the sky like a rocket to land hungrily on a herd-beast. Maerath watched. He waited. She screeched, then blooded a second, third, and fourth beast. Letting his eyes follow the Sub-Queen, he sighed.
Mine, she is not the most beautiful. In fact, her hide is rather funny looking. But my wings could use a stretch. I think I shall chase. Standing slowly, the bronze dragon did indeed stretch his wings, extending them out to their full length. Yawning, as if just waking up from a nap, Maerath waited for Kayath to take off into the sky, her orange hide mingling with the tones of the (in his opinion) much more beautiful sunset. S'bel nearly choked on the meatroll he was eating when Maerath announced he was going to Chase Kayath just because he wanted to stretch his wings. "SHARDS, ARE YOU TRYING TO MAKE HER MAUL YOU?!" He shouted to the sky, and his dragon (who was conviniently ignoring him), as he began to search the Gather for J'dol's familiar (and somewhat disliked) form. After all, S'bel had loved Alyara, who had spurned him, only to turn around and take things up with J'dol. Let's just say the two men were not friendly with each other. "By the first egg, Maerath, what in Faranth's name are you doing?!" His eyes scanned the Gather with more urgency now. Maerath continued ignoring his rider. He watched as first S'vrin's bronze joined Kayath in the sky, then Banemith and Kaith. Amiith and Vaarinth soon followed, as well as Solarith. Kayath spurned some and flirted with others, demanding words of praise. Roaring loudly, Maerath lifted his wings and thrust them downwards in a powerful stroke which propelled him into the air. The others had a rather large head-start on him, but then, he was in this for the fun, right? Corkscrewing through a patch of clouds, he followed at the tail end of the other suitors, swift and silent as he Chased. Slow and steady wins the race, right? S'bel clutched his head as his vision began to blur. Though Maerath was only chasing for "fun," he still felt the lust of a Chase, and thus his rider felt it, too. Shaking his head vigorously in a vain attempt to clear his vision, he finally found the ring of riders around J'dol and joined them, the last edges of his distaste disappearing as he did so.

Amiith gave a hiss at Cozyrith and the others. THey thought they could Impress her? But he doubted it. They could never do enough. He had to be confident in his own way. His own abilities.. and yet he had the smallest doubts in the back of his mind. The prickling feelings were not kind.... but oh! She slid that claw of hers, beautiful and brighter than teh sun down his back. Oh my darling beauty! Beauty greater than the skies! Queen of our world and princess and queen of all those who have ever taken to hte skies. I shall sing to you praises even should you not choose me. Even if you should scorn me. I shall thank you and praise you for all that you have given and I will praise you for your greatness! Simply allow me to chase you higher and farther, faster, and further into the fading sun. You are brighter than Rukbat's light, more beautiful than the wind and air and the skies which submit to your beauty! he crooned and sang to her with every wing beat. And as he flew above and charmed her there, his rider slowly approached the others, looking at all who were there... but her eyes became fixed on J'dol rather quickly as she came a bit closer to him, standing tall, straight. Right now... he was the most beautiful person she ahd ever seen or ever met... Faranth... Fly harder Amiith! she mentally hissed at him, though her mind was not on the gorund for much longer to think through what it was that she was doing... No... soon it was wings and claws, teeth... and glowing topaz hide... Oh Faranth... Faranth... She was beauty incarnate. Amiith growled at the other males that were chasing. The yall thought themselves good enough. But he would prove them wrong. He would show them. he crooned and sang and did his best in flight. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ I shall sing for you forever, Kayath. I shall always sing for you... You are my love. My heart. My wings... You can take my breath away with one word if only you should wish it... I would give all for you. My princess... No! QUEEN! He crooned and sang and performed for her. He would do anythign to win her... ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ J'mol found himself walking back in circles towards where J'dol was... but he wasn't aware. Only Vaarinth and his crooning song that he was now humming seemed to make sense in the world. Only it existed. --- --- --- --- --- --- Iirla was very glad she had sent Izanycorth away.... This would have been a horrible occasion had she been here... As it was, she could hear the gold growling in the back of her mind, truly annoyed. And Iirla was starting to feel much the same... but it was when Izanycorth saw through Iirla's eyes, Maerath, who had sworn never to chase another dragoness but her, take the skies after Kayath that Iirla had problems. She had to keep the queen at bay or there would be blood. And one or both queens could be lost. SHUT UP! Stay there! She should have gone with her dragoness, but she never would have dreamed that today of all days would be the day of Kayath's flight. Izanycorth's response was a subdued growl. Iirla was doing her best... but... she had to do something and there was only one something that could potentially make Izanycorth stay there right now... She looked around. She took a deep breath. She had to get to her... But... where was a rider who could take her to her where she rested now? Go. Watch. Make sure he does not win or I shall come! I shall make sure that Kayath pays for taking my bronze! Luring him into her flight! She was miles away. She only knew because her rider knew. Iirla cursed herself again and fought with the dragoness. Faranth... Izanycorth finally settled though when Iirla consented. You promised, Maerath! the gold reached out for the mind of the bronze, hissing. Thormyth and Braymoth best not chase Mine or I shall come! She was not happy. She had her special males. She would not tolerate sharing their attentions. Iirla groaned and headed after S'bel. She grabbed his sleeve as he came to a stop, a hand on her stomach where the child grew. Faranth. This was bad. I hate you sometimes, Izanycorth. The dragoness was attempting once more to leave... But who would be the one to receive her assault should she return now... Iirla did not know. But she would no allow it. You will not leave that spot! She was focused on her dragoness. She knew if she were here... there would be no chance... the two dragoness's would be fighting to the death by now... And who would win... well... that was a question she could not even answer...

S'bel groaned as Maerath's flight lust blasted through his skull. Leaning heavily against a tree, he nearly jumped out of his skin when someone nearby snatched at his sleeve. He turned. Iirla. She had a hand on her stomach and seemed to be fighting something as well.
In his clouded state, it took S'bel a good thirty seconds or more to figure out why. Izanycorth. Surely she would be angry that Maerath was Chasing. He had promised his heart to her and only her. S'bel doubled over as the lust increased... but not for J'dol.
Maerath gave a fleeting screech, the first sound he had uttered the whole flight, before twisting mid-air. Kayath's call drove him on. He could not leave the flight, though he must speak to Izanycorth!
Izanycorth, my love, He crooned, soft and apologetic. I did not mean to chase. She calls me, as a Queen calls all bronze dragons. Forgive me, my beautiful golden Queen. He would have made a motion to fly higher, chase Kayath harder, but Izanycorth tugged at him. Flightlust still rose within him, however, so he extended forward, his wings straining. I promised my heart to none but you. S'bel turned, taking Iirla into his arms. In the dark, it looked as if his own stormy blue eyes flashed red from the flight lust. "Take me away," he whispered huskily. "Maerath cannot win this flight now... but I have a flight of my own to pursue." His words were slightly slurred, his head dizzy. He never would have made such a bold move had he not been drunk on flight lust. "Take me away..." he whispered.
