Since it was stumble over his words or smack the man in the face, Stripe decided to go with option C. He gave them both a meaningful look before he scuttled off, half hopping half scrambling along the ground to get to the topaz. Since J’dol hadn’t seem to realize it was an actual crush, though a more childish version, Kyprioth kept it to himself. It didn’t seem fair to poke fun at the dragon. After all Kyp had his own odd thing for her.
Since he wasn’t quite sure how to admit that he liked the interaction, he just wasn’t used to it-Kyprioth gave a nervous little smile to J’dol. “It’s fine.” He told him quietly and with great daring leaned forward to put a little, chaste, shy kiss that was all Kyp on the tip of J’dol’s jaw.
That done, and bright red he made his way quietly to the dining hall silently collecting some fruit, he wasn’t all that big on food right now anyway, and idly popped a cherry into his mouth as he watched the topaz rider.
He was making odd faces, for a moment his tongue poked out and he swallowed holding out the tied cherry stem before he set it on the table with a proud little grin-having no idea what the hell he just did.
Since he was completely innocent in every way possible he put his attention onto his drink, idly cradling the cup as he watched the other rider.
“Did yer mean it, about me visitin' yer, I mean? I wouldn't be a bovver, then? I can't right 'andle bein' indoors for right long, but if yer promise ter be good, and yer know, not eat me in the middle of the bloomin' night I might come visit. Again-if yer promise ter be right good.” He managed a weak little shy smile, doing his best to forget that he had stuck his hands down the pants of the other man-and had enjoyed it a lot.

Kayath rumbled as she watched the bronze and turned her attention to the herdbeasts before selecting one and diving, throwing her weight as she landed on the beast, breaking its spine, before snapping and scooping up a smaller beast that was unlucky enough to get far enough away. Snatched her two prizes up, she took off and landed back outside the pens, depositing them as Pastenutth caught up. Good morning little one, I trust J'dol hasn't been causing you too much trouble? She reached out to nuzzle him, offering up one of the beasts at the same time.
J'dol blinked briefly in surprise as Kyp did something unexpected again, but instead of teasing or taunting, he gave the man only a warm smile and followed K'r happily to the dining hall. Selecting his own food (of which he was most disappointed to discover did not include pancakes) he had just sat down and was about to place a piece of melon in his mouth when K'r's strange expressions caught his attention. His jaw dropped and he blushed, outright blushed, as K'r went ahead a teased him with his tongue skills. There was no way he knew what he was implying with his little show, but J'dol couldn't stop the tingle that went down his spine. Clearly some greater beign was punishing him this morning, and once more J'dol found himself wishing the nine months had passed already.
"No, of course not," he finally replied, shaking his head to end the daze that had left Kyp without an answer for quite a length of time. "Not a bother, what-so-ever. I'll behave..." His words trailed off and the light pink of his cheeks darkened marginally. Did Kyp not realize he was implying that he'd visit J'dol at night as long as he kept his mouth to himself? Did he not realize what the very idea of 'eating him' was doing to J'dol's brain? He was sure of it now, this had to be a dream! There was just no way Kyp would accidentally imply all of that. From the look on his face it was clear J'dol's brain had just been destroyed; the fruit slid from his fingers as he stared at Kyp.

Poor Stripe looked torn between fleeing and dying of pleasure at the females attention. He accepted the nuzzles with an awkward, shy little bump of his nose in return peering at the rather squished food with great interest. He was not about to turn it down, food was nice especially when he didn’t have to chase it himself, but well-he didn’t know it would come flat as a pancake. Oh well.
To polite to say no he delicately began to rip chunks of flesh of, trying his best to not gobble and have manners.
He was fine, though if he keeps bothering Mine, he might not like what happens Was he joking? Probably not, which was the scary part.
Kyprioth was naïve and innocent yes, but he did realize something was wrong when perfectly good fruit went plopping back to the table unnoticed. Frowning he motioned to it and stopped peering with great interest at the rather odd look on his friends face.
Please tell me I am not the only one who knows what’s going on! You broke him, you fix him I didn’t do-no no I don’t need pictures of what I did thank you! You are supposed to be a child
Terrified his dragon would ignore the command, still not quite sure what he had done wrong he leaned forward to snag the fruit plopping it in his mouth with a look. How dare you waste food!
“It 'ave a looks like I ran up behind yer and smacked yor head wiv a board. Are yer okay, isit?Did I say sumfink wrong, then, eh? I fought...if it's about earlier, right, I mean I'm sorry I fought since yer, no I mean. I shouldn't blame yer, I'm bloody well sorry. I shouldn't 'ave done that, init?Yor my friend and I ruined that didn't I?” he looked close to crying because surely, surely J’dol was looking at him like that because he had made the poor man regret earlier.

Kayath rumbled low in her chest as she noticed the look Pastenutth was giving the herdbeast. She knew her method of hunting was strange, but she was a big - bulky - girl, and it was just more effort than it was worth to remain airborne after snatching a beast. Besides, at her size the beasts were only a bit or two anyways. Squishy beast went down easier.
Don't think less of me for this, but sometimes I think my rider is an idiot. She huffed. Kayath loved her rider dearly, he was perfect for her, but sometimes she wondered how he got anything done with his lack of control. I may have to put him in time out if he keeps this up.
J'dol stayed in his shell-shocked state for a good few moments still, moving only when K'r leaned to steal the fruit he had dropped. Furrowing his brow, J'dol watched him steal the morsel and pop it in his mouth. It wasn't until Kyp started falling into a rather upset sounding ranting that J'dol came to completely, and when he did it was to break out in laughter loud enough to cause a few heads to turn.
"Earlier? No, no! Kyp listen here you!" He forced out between laughs. Taking a few deep breaths he tried to calm himself. "This has got nothing to do with earlier. It was, just, you... shards, I'd be more than happy if you did it again. Not now obviously, it has to wait for Stripe to be older so I can do it back and all that fun stuff. I think that little memory is going to keep me distracted all day." He knew he was rambling, so he paused and winked, "It's that innocence you have. Don't you realize what that little tongue trick of yours implies, Kyp? Shards! You're too innocent for your own good." He chuckled again and reached out to steal a piece of fruit from K'r's tray. Revenge!

Wait, why was he being laughed at? He frowned wondering if he was being mocked-till it sunk in, and with the help of Stripe, exactly what he had done. He paled turning a rather fantastic color a moment after. He wanted to object-his dragon was a child he was not supposed to inform him why the tongue trick had been bad, but he let it slip. J’dol had been right, Stripe lived in –his- head after all. He had to get it from somewhere.
“Oh…o-oh.” He wasn’t quite sure what to say as he fumbled for his fruit back, missed completely and went for another piece instead. Since talking seemed rather useless at the moment, all he could matter was a few haphazard squeaks and awkward flailing, he nibbled on a pasty to calm himself down.
Can Mine join? I should not have to explain human mating habits to him, I am a child Stripe sighed kindly offering the tastiest part of the food, the heart, to the topaz with a shy little wing flip.
“I uh…” Flustered and clearly unsure what to say, or do, Kyprioth looked helplessly up at the other man hoping he would give him some hint. It seemed cruel to do that though, after all he had spent a good morning torturing the man and half of the time he didn’t even know it. His eyes flickered to his hands, the table and the floor before he met the other mans gaze. He gaped like a fish and since he couldn’t figure out what to say stuck another cherry in his mouth, stubbornly chewing it with a look. Since he had tortured him already it was only fair to do it again, he figured. Taking the tied cherry stem out of his lips with a little shy smirk he shifted to grab another piece of fruit off of J’dol’s plate.
“Yer fault.” What he was blaming him for he had no idea, but he blamed him for it all.

You poor boy. I'll have a good chat with J'dol tonight. I won't be happy if his idiocy brings you and Yours harm. She settled down comfortably, making quick (but clean) work of her own meal. Glancing at the heart, she purred, her eyes whirling with greens and blues of happiness as she reached down to take it. You're very sweet Pastenutth. Yours is very lucky to have you. She chuckled, At least yours still has things to learn in that respect. Mine has always been this terrible.
J'dol gave another chuckle as it finally seemed to dawn on his friend. It was interesting to see that, despite learning what he had been doing, Kyp's flustered expression wasn't nearly as severe as it likely would have been a few months ago. The thought made J'dol smile, his eyes following Kyp's movements as he plucked up another cherry. Oh he wouldn't!
"Someone's getting cheeky," He quirked his eyebrow, half-smirk on his face as Kyp made the telltale expression of what he was doing, and sure enough, with a rather striking smirk, Kyp pulled the tied stem from his lips. "You little tease..." His voice had a rather breathless tone to it as he lifted a hand to push his fruit closer to the weyrling.
"My fault huh, I guess I can accept that." He reached out to take the stem, looking it over slowly before shifting his playful gaze back to Kyp. "You have to teach me how to do this." He glanced down at his collection of fruit, smirking as he picked up one and smirked at Kyp, wondering if he was too innocent to understand the symbolism of a good old fashioned banana. Well, he figured as he peeled it, they would find out soon enough. And so J'dol put on his own little show as he ate, keeping his eyes trained on the weyrling the entire time.

Pastenutth preened under the others compliments giving her a rather pleased look before he flicked his wings open. Flying was not possible but it felt good as he watched, waiting to see what they would do next. He wasn’t able to spend much time with other dragons, this one in particular, and he looked about ready to burst with delight.
Kyprioth was innocent yes-he was not stupid though. Since the cherry thing had been explained to him, and he opened his mouth to say no he would not be telling him how to do it, he figured out the banana thing quick enough. Torn between passing out, and his vision did go a bit white around the edges as he stared into space, and pouncing on the man (a bad idea) he picked a mixture of both.
Lunging across the table, waiting for the moment when the fruit was not down his friends throat, he grasped for it ripping a good chunk off of the wet, masticated fruit. Triumphantly, and well aware how painful ripping a chunk off of what the banana represented would be, he stuffed it into his mouth.
“Well, now that yer got me banished from the bloody dinin' 'all till I graduate-yer should put the mockers on that yer know. If yer show me all the cards in yor deck, so ter speak, before I can actually enjoy them then wots the bleedin' point?” Realizing perhaps that earlier had given away a rather clear fact-that he did enjoy J’dols company and he did enjoy teasing him back, he was slowly getting used to the idea of being more outspoken about it. It did not stop him from turning quite the spectacular shade of red though as he peered around them.
“Any road uh, yer should warn Kay' ter not-yer know-encourage Stripe unless she's ready ter deal wiv 'im wen 'e's grown enough ter chase 'er. Then I 'ave ter deal wiv -yer-.” Well that was a frightening thought. He gulped. He hoped Stripe would let him at least get used to the idea, more physical touching, before he chased anyone.

Kayath spread her wings as well, prepared to launch to the sky before a quick reminder from her rider had her turning the movement into a stretch and tucking her wings back again. Would you care to join me for a dip in the river? She asked, rising with every intention of going anyways; she had a bit of blood to clean off her claws after all.
"Oi! That was uncalled for! Attacking my poor breakfast when I'm trying to eat." He put on a mock display of shock and betrayal before grinning and taking a bite of the fruit as well and rolling his eyes at Kyp. "OH you naive little cutie. This is only the tip of the iceberg. I assure you there will be plenty," He paused, his eyes twinkling as he carefully used Kyp's own word, "For you to enjoy." He dropped the banana peel back on his tray and worked away on his next morsel.
"Telling her not to encourage Stripe is like you telling me not to lust after you. It just wont happen." He replied flatly. "She picked me for a reason, and I assure you it is because she is just as attention seeking as I am." He smiled again, though there was a seriousness in his eyes once more, momentarily leaving his playful mood behind. "You make it sound like dealing with me will be terrible." He joked, though he knew it was an uncomfortable topic for the man.
"I wasn't lying before, you know. You can hide away during it. Besides, Kayath's a picky girl, he'll have to prove himself against the other males too, so you may not have to worry about it at all. And my offer still stands, purely professional I swear." He supposed he should mention that it would be the greens in his class that would likely draw Stripe's attention first, but hey, he didn't want to upset the poor guy more. "You'll have plenty of forewarning before Kayath takes to the sky anyways. She becomes a downright witch right beforehand." He stole another morsel off Kyp's plate as a distraction. "Speaking of which, if her mood is any indicator I don't doubt she'll be expecting an oiling in the near future. Needy princess she is sometimes." He sighed contently.

He wanted to tell her that it was okay if she, you know, actually flew. He understood. He had these great wings and nothing to do with them except flop them uselessly about for the time being. Inwardly though he was pleased that she was being so nice about it. Bobbing his head he did his best to ‘keep up’ with a dragon that he could easily walk under without bending down. A bath sounded lovely.
A bath would be nice. Would you like me to talk Mine into dragging yours down here to pay attention to you? You deserve it, after all, and I think you might have bent a claw landing on the second one. I wish I could do that
Kiss ass
He pointedly ignored his rider, didn’t even shove the mental image of the fruit, or the cherry or the hands down the topaz riders pants at him. He was being nice.
Kyprioth did his best to hide the faint jealous flash that escaped over his face. He failed, terribly. He wasn’t jealous about the fact that J’dol was with others, after all he still had his eye on a particular ebony rider as well, he just didn’t like the implication that sex with him would be purely, professional and thus a job. He made it sound like a chore.
“So you have to schedule in time for me, is that it?” He tried to joke about it but he looked awfully hurt, burying his face in his cup to cover it up. Why did it bother him? Oh yea, because he had a life of living in a house crammed to the brim with people, actually getting time with his parents had to be written in practically.
He sighed feeling childish and stupid. “We should clean our dragons, ya know.” He tried to change the topic, smiled even as he peered up at him. He didn't have to fake the way his smile widened though at the words 'our' dragons. He had a dragon!

Kayath ruffled her wings, wanting to fly for the sheer joy of it, but she would fight that urge and remain on the ground. Besides, all too soon her friend would be able to join her in the skies, she could tolerate a short walk for once. She snorted in amusement at the bronze's words. She knew all Kyprioth would have to do is say he would take off his shirt and J'dol would happily come along. She had to admit that the thought of J'dol being dragged around was funny though. I would like that, She dipped her head to watch him, her expression taking on a draconic look that almost reminded one of J'dol's playful smirks. You're such a flatterer.
J'dol blinked and stared at K'r like he had grown a second head. That expression had seemed jealous but why? J'dl hadn't done anything to his knowledge to give a reason for jealousy, not to mention it was Kyp! What did he haveto be jealous of! He continued to stare as the words came off hurt. That was just a strange one.
"I told you I get busy from time to time, but my doors always open for a visit." Clearly he didn't quite understand what the problem was, if his unsure voice and curious expression were any indication. "Sounds like a plan. I'll Spazz bring some rags down to the river." He stood up, offering a hand to K'r and giving him a worried look again. Then he motioned towards the entrance, wanting to head out to the river.
"What's bothering you, Kyp? Was it something I said?"

Stripe wanted to say something, perhaps deny the fact that hey, he was flattering her-but he realized a moment before he opened his mouth how foolish and stupid that was and shut his jaws with an audible snap. He said nothing as they walked doing his best to keep his pace some where between ‘really fast’ and ‘Im not in a hurry so you don’t have to walk at a snails crawl’. He managed, sort of.
He stopped though when he realized what was going on in his riders head. A sigh escaped him. He could force the man to apologize for being a blathering idiot but why bother? He wouldn’t understand and it was best if he had it explained to him. Even then it would probably take a lot of time on J’dols part for Kyprioth to realize that no, he was not a chore.
The bronze rider said nothing till they were outside and not surrounded by insistently noisy riders and workers alike. He had made a motion to his friend to tell him ‘outside’ so he wasn’t completely rude at least.
“It’s just…” He sighed eyes landing on the two dragons, well mainly Kayath. He could spot a stripped form near her front waiting for them but she was the one who was easily visible from far away.
“I'm bloody well bein' stewpid, right, yer can tell me that. This ain't the chuffin' first time yer've mentioned ace reasons, is all. Yer make it sound like yer 'ave ter schedule time in for me, like it's a chore ter have ter do more than just...touch. It's not that im not used ter it, right, yer know. Evry one else right 'ad ter set time aside ter spend wiv me any road, in a family as big as mine. Oi Stripe, right, just because yor tidy does not mean yer 'ave a right good reason ter roll in mud!” Glad for the change of topic the half blind ex-farmer loped after his dragon who had decided it was time to intervene by dropping down and rolling himself healthily in the near by mud.
Dripping, feeling disgusting he beamed with pride. He needed cleaning now. Kyprioth wouldn’t be standing there awkwardly, and he wouldn’t have a reason to run away.

Kayath had her kind streaks, but if Stripe had even thought she would slow does to a snail's pace for him he was mistaken. In fact, though she did move slower than if she was on her own, it was still a rather quick pace for the smaller dragon; she was pleased that he tried to keep up rather than complain. They reached the water's edge soon enough, and she waited along the bank, looking back as the humans made their way outside before stretching again and wandering into the water, silently asking Stripe if he'd like to join her, or wait for their riders. A quick blue blur flashed through the air, makign a couple trips to drop off a pile of rags on a nearby rock before disappearing again.
J'dol listened as Kyp finally explained, and a pang of guilt shot through him. So that was what was bothering Kyp. The weyrlord realized then how careless he'd been, how he hadn't explained properly. Well, if Kyp thought he was going to get out of this conversation then he had another thing coming! J'dol followed after him until they were with the dragons, then gently grabbed his arm and yanked him to a stop. Stepping in front of the other man, J'dol didn't give him much of a chance to escape as he moved to wind his fingers through Kyp's hair again. He was a tad closer to the other than he should have been, getting right up into the bronzer's face before finally speaking.
"Kyp... three months ago you panicked when I called you cute, you freaked out if I so much as stood near you. I just want you to know that if the only thing you want is a lesson, I can give it to you. I can shove aside my lust for you and be just a teacher, if that's what you need. As your friend, I don't want you to have a terrible first flight, alright?" He paused, hoping that at least made sense and explained why he kept saying it that way. "Believe me Kyp, I want you, don't ever think that I don't. The only 'chore' there is when it comes to you is trying to keep myself from going overboard. Besides, I don't doubt it'll be you needing to find time in your schedule for me someday soon, with how cute you are." He grinned and stepped back.
"I'll admit I'm a bit envious though. I wish I had a big family." Then remembering the dragons, he looked back and laughed at Stripe. What a little bugger that guy was! Clever too, if J'dol was right in thinking the bronze was getting himself dirty for a reason. He flashed the dragonet a thankful smile. "Looks like you've got your work cut out for you. Shall we go clean them up?" Not that Kayath was dirty, in fact she had edged away from the bronze slightly to keep herself as un-muddy as possible. With a playful grin, J'dol wiggled his eyebrows at Kyp before shucking his pants. Lucky for the weyrling, he decided to keep his undergarmets on for once.

Kyprioth gave a surprised yelp as he was grabbed. Stumbling he fell a bit into the others grip trying his best to pay attention to what was being said. Something told him this was important but the fingers in his hair were a distraction like no other. He visibly shook with pleasure eyes glazing over a bit as he tried to hang onto every word. He was glad he did, as nice as those fingers felt it was not as nice as what J’dol was saying.
“I uh, I don't know wot ter say. Sorry, eh, luv? I mean, right, I didn't expect that...but thank yer. And It still scares me wen yer call me cute, or touch me, but not as much, because I like it, and Stripes 'elpin' me realize that isnt a bad fin'.” He managed a shy little smile before stumbling away from the rider wrapping his arms around the dragon and, uncaring that he was getting muddy, he would wash up anyway, he nuzzled into the surprised Bronze’s throat.
“Kayath I’m a chase yer.” He warned the topaz before, hands filled with mud he turned, caught off guard momentarily by the sight of J’dol in his skivvies, and dashed for where the dragon was. Thankfully he was nimble and quick on his feet as he moved, bound over a rock and with great care, a grin on his face, placed a muddy hand print firmly on Kayath’s side.
“Better.” A rather wicked grin was on his face before he found himself flopped into the lake, spluttering for air as he struggled to push the bronze, striped body off of him before he drowned. Not that the dragon would let him.
He doesn’t have the words to say thank you, but I’m sure his blush gave him away. Shall I let him up or do you want to come rescue him?
Since his head had been allowed out of the water for him to breathe, after a few spluttering arm waves and laughing swears, his threats to his dragons life were quite audible, and creative. He threw in a few demands, begging, ego stroking at Kayath hoping she’d help him.

"Good," J'dol replied, clearly pleased with the weyrling's answer, "I don't intend to stop." He watched, at first wondering if Kyp's sudden clinginess to his dragon was a result of the man being upset, but no, apparently he just had a playful streak. J'dol quirked an eyebrow as Kyp suddenly turned on kayath. Clapping a hand to his mouth he tried not to laugh and kept the thought from Kayath, ready to watch the events unfold. He supposed he should try to tell Kyp it was a bad idea, but.. nope!
Kayath had been watching the weyrling, recalling memories from J'dol's mind of their time as weyrlings as well. Caught up as she was, the dragoness didn't quite see the attack coming, at least not until Kyp yelled out his warning. Squawking in alarm, the dragoness attempted to step back, but she worried about stepping on the little man, then suddenly there was the sound of a playful slap, and Kayath froze, turning her large head to peer at the spot, her eyes quickly beginning to whirl with emotions. She stared, and stared, even as Kyp found himself pinned under the bronze.
Help? HELP? He dirtied me! I was so beautiful and he ruined it! Ruined it! Oh woe is me! She flailed, stomping about in the water and making a royal fuss about the spot, a spot which she was completely unable to clean off on her own. Betrayed! Betrayed by a man i trusted! What is this world coming to! Grinning, J'dol moved to lean over Kyp, tsk-ing as he looked down.
"Oh Kyp, Kyp, Kyp... You had to go and get her dirty didn't you? She can hold quite the grudge you know!" A sudden loud splash was the only warning they got before a large wave came crashing over them; Kayath had flopped into the water. So much for a rescue.

Okay well, he didn’t expect her to act like –that-. He should have, he really should have, but that? His head ached with her woe is me cries as he tried to press his dragon aside only to find himself once more floundering in the lake as a wave crested and knocked even Stripe over. Unable to get to his feet he sad there, gasping for air, spluttering and giggling like a loon. Okay, he felt bad for muddying Kayath, he really did but this was fun and he hadn’t had just straight out fun in such a long, long time.
Since his rider was seriously close to bursting something in his head from laughter, Stripe, shaking water off as delicately as he could, and not on the topaz, as he delicately stepped towards Kayath. He was the perfect picture of dragon hang dogness, head hanging, tail down, wings dragging as he brought his nose carefully up to the spot.
With exaggerated tender care he cleaned her, dipping his nose in the water to get rid of the mud, repeating the gentle nuzzles before he stood back to make sure not a spec was still on her. At least I had a reason to touch you, Beautiful Lady. Nothing could ruin that you know, and you are ferocious, startling and a true warrior queen when you are splattered in mud, blood. Nothing could ever make you not beautiful
Struggling to his feet, his prior issues forgotten, and privy to that conversation, Kyprioth fell over again as he clapped his hand on his mouth to shut up his giggles. He all but pounced on J’dol a moment later hands over the mans mouth as well. “Not-one-word.” He warned the man, because both of them were apt to traitorously mock the poor bronze.
