For once his complete fear of closed spaces was edged far far away as he leans into the other man’s muscular body, a part of him realizing that they were actually almost the same height. He just fits perfectly against J’dol though his awkward long limbs makes him feel like he doesn’t belong. Thankfully perhaps, he’s too scared about the idea of flights to even realize he’s pressed up against a man and crying for all he’s worth because of the shadow riders he’s envisioning. So much pain, why was he even here?!
He was far too out of it to properly take in the others words, though he hears something about getting used to it and not needing to sleep with someone during it. But he’s always heard that flights, especially if you had a dragon, meant you had to sleep with the other one! It was frowned on if you didn’t! That’s what all the holders said, and the talk of the dragon riders grabbing near by hold ladies and lads to do terrible things with them during flights was enough to make his blood freeze within him.
“Show me where I can 'ide, please! Blimey! I'll even use a barracks room if it 'as a lock I don't want ter end up wiv some man forcin' 'imself on me.” His eyes took on an almost sad blueish tint to grey as he lifts his head up to stare at J’dol wondering what the man was thinking. He manages to catch up on what he’s saying though the thought of being caught up in lust not his own is a frightening, scary one and he wonders why his uncle never told him about this.
“I...I don't want to...do anyfink, and yer said yer 'ad a mate. I don't like men, right, truly I don't...but I want yer ter show me 'ow ter deal wiv this stuff. I want a dragon, right, I do, right, I just don't want ter be forced into nuffink.” He spoke quietly voice barely above a whisper as he lifts his hand to wipe a this eyes surprisingly leaning into the touch on his hair. His hair has always been extremely sensitive for him and he shivers finding himself relaxing a bit. Nothing, nothing calmed him down like a good scalp massage or someone just playing with his messy blond locks. He didn’t truly know that though always just figured his mother had some magic power or something.
Lifting his arms up he cradles a surprised Banner against his chest staring into J’dol’s eyes for the first time. He’s scared that much is certain but he’s at least thinking about what the man was saying. Wouldn’t it be best to have his first time be with someone well, he liked? He didn’t have to –be- with that person, shards he was hold born he was well aware that people had ‘friends’ some times in the dozens. But it would be better if it was someone he trusted, someone who said they would be gentle with him. Something he could ‘remember’ even. But…with another man?
“So confused.” He mumbled quietly. He hasn’t said no but he hasn’t quite said yes either. Hastily he looks about him to make sure no one is there to see his little break down or hear what they were talking about.
“Yer…but I dun wanna be no pity…stuff..” He says so quietly that its barely audible and blushes with shame.

J'dol listened quietly as Kyprioth calmed enough to talk and, out of habit more than anything he continued playing with Kyprioth's hair. It seemed to make him relax a bit, so J'dol took it as a good sign. He continued to make soft, hum like noises as Kyp spoke, hoping it would help calm him more. He knew flightlust could be scary to those who weren't ready for it. He himself didn't understand the fear, having been willingly involved in flightlust since he was old enough to understand it, but he had seen the reactions of hold boys before.
"Of course, I'll make sure you have a hiding place. I know you don't like tight spaces.. but storage rooms work too, if you ever need it." He paused for a moment, his eyes taking on the glossy look that occurred when speaking to a dragon. "Kayath says if you can make it to her she would stomp on anyone who came too close. All you have to do is compliment her." He smiled softly, trying desperately not to look too intimidating or overwhelming; the poor guy was having enough stress today without him adding too much more.
"Ara would understand, think of it as mentoring, really. Shards... she'd probably join in given the opportunity." The last part of the sentence was mumbled, not wanting to accidentally scare Kyprioth off somehow. He kept his voice low, warm, as he spoke, trying to be as soothing as he could, while getting the point across. "I don't know what you know of flightlust, but there are lots of options Kyprioth. I can't argue that being bonded to a dragon will make it impossible to ignore, but you can have stand-ins, or lock yourself away to make sure you don't end up with strangers. Lots of weyrmates here do that and its perfectly acceptable." Yes, J'dol was actually being helpful for once; it happened occasionally. He continued his mini scalp massage.
"Take your time, think about it. It's not something you need to decide right this instant. You know where to find me if you want to." He gave a light chuckle at the whisper-like final words. It wasn't taunting or teasing, just a simple chuckle as J'dol looked down at him, briefly thinking to himself that the shade of his eyes was rather entrancing. This was no time to think about that though. "I don't do pity 'stuff', Kyprioth." He used the same wording, his voice at an equally low volume, hoping it would help the comfort levels a tiny bit. "I'll do it because I want to. Okay? I want to help you and I want you to have a good time."

The fingers have the proper affect. In fact, he looks like a cat with the glazed over expression on his face the rather dazed look as he tries to stay with the conversation and what’s going on. It just feels so good, all he can think about is the pleasurable thrill it sends down his spine with each finger sweep. He doesn’t even mind that his hair is getting messy his hair is –always- messy. He finds himself leaning into the touch a bit and by the shells if a human could purr he probably would have by now. At least it had the proper calming effect on him, making him forget for the current moment how frightening the idea of touching another man could be. Well, if J’dol felt this nice surely…surely!
It was something worth thinking about, just not now.
He smiles faintly at the offer from the topaz. “Tell 'er thank yer. It's not complimentin' if it's true.” He shrugs his shoulders awkwardly still trying to think proper like with those fingers making it entirely far to hard. He smiles though at least, and that’s something. His eyes are watery and red and his face is rather splotchy. He’s not a man that can cry and look good doing it, that’s for sure. He’s a man meant to smile and grin and tell jokes and pranks and get hit on the head with shovels and the like.
The promise, well the offer of Kayath protecting him makes him feel much better. The dragoness would surely keep away those he doesn’t want to be touched by. He knew enough to know that lust from flights did not affect him in any way that Kayath would be in an awkward situation, even with his odd little crush on her.
He hears the comment about the mans weyrmate but pointedly ignores it. There’s no point in commenting over something so silly, he thinks. He’s glad though to know at least that J’dol is not sugar coating things for him. He always thought that flights were something you had to participate in if you had a dragon, that is was frowned on if you locked yourself in your room. Apparently not here! He was glad for that and the tightness in his neck and shoulders was starting to ease. The continuous massage on his scalp was helping and he wasn’t even moving away either. It was very clear, at least in that one thing that Kyprioth’s ‘spot’ as it were, was his head and hair. He had no idea that what was going on could be taken to sexual levels, after all he was all but falling over in giddy enjoyment.
“Yea...Not now. Maybe...maybe some time. Do yer fink yer could uh...show me 'round more, a bit, then, J’dol? Maybe meet yor wee if it's not a problem, then, eh? And uh..there were sumfink else but I can't remember .” Cuddling Banner to his chest, the garnet giving him a rather rude look but doing nothing except squirming some, he dazedly shakes his head. He knows he wanted to do something, say something but he’s not quite sure but shardit it just feels so good!
With a sigh Banner sends something to J’dol. It’s not gentle, he’s rather rude about it but at least he’s trying to be ‘polite’, or his version of polite anyway. His sending is the feeling of thanks for distracting his person from the so called frightening act of mating runs.
“Yer 'ave ter stop doin' that...I'm bloody well gonna fall over and I cant fink and I feel right foolish.” He mumbles under his breath his skin turning quite a fantastic shade of red. Ah, it finally has hit him that he’s been standing here for a good few minutes, alternating crying his eyes out, scared of being raped and all but moaning in the hands of the weyrlord. The weyrlord!

Ah, that was good. He was calming down easier than expected. J'dol held back a sigh of relief, not wanting to make any noise that could disrupt the moment of peace. J'dol was mildly surprised to feel him leaning into the touch, but he certainly wasn't complaining. Perhaps this was a weak spot of sorts, even if only for calming down. He made sure to store the idea in the back of his mind. It would be useful later, if the opportunity arose to use it again. He couldn't help but grin at the slight change in his speach, as if he was a tad dazed, it seemed he had found a weak spot.
J'dol was pleased. Not only had Kyprioth not disagreed to the offer, but J'dol had found a sensitive area that would help the ordeal along, when (not if, because J'dol was rather positive he was going to be successful) Kyprioth came to bed with him. He couldn't help the faint stirring of lust, the desire to explore and see if he could find more weak spots right then and there, but he forced the feeling down. Things were good right now, it wouldn't do to scare the guy off.
"Of course, would you like the tour first, or just want me to point out a couple places on the way to my weyr?" His hand, of course, didn't stop massaging while he spoke, though his hand did twitch as Banner's mind assaulted his own; it had no where near the strength of Kayath's mind, so it wasn't that it hurt or anything, it was just such a different feeling from his own bondeds that it caught him by surprise. As the feeling of thanks reached him, he smiled at the garnet and gave a little wink. So, Banner did care.
"Oh?" His voice was still low and quiet as he asked, a playful smile on his lips as he took in the red face. Well well well, perhaps Kyprioth was aware of this weak spot after all. "Stop doing what... this?" Bringing his other hand up, he wrung both through Kyprioth's hair, alternating the pressure as he ran his fingers along the man's head, looking for any spots that were more sensitive, pressing harder and lighter as he searched. He only played for a few brief moments before starting to pull his hands away. "Ready to go?"

“Point out o'couple of places...figure I can cop the general idea meself and like I said I plan on sleepin' outside.” He really was stuck with living outside, even during the winter he figures he could set up a nice place, and plus J’dol had said he would help him right? At last, finally his mind was on ‘safer’ things to think about, no longer did shadow rapists loam over him frightening him to tears and shock. He was far to busy thinking about how good the hair petting felt and how nice it would be to set up a tent outside to even bother with those. Later though, when the touching stopped and he was alone such thoughts would come back and he would regret it having buried them.
He was about to make some comment to the look on J’dols face, he looks like the feline they had in their barn when it got near cat nip or cream, but before he can do anything but open his mouth two hands join in his hair and he feels his knee’s go weak. His body is alight with a fire he’s never felt before and he has no idea that he actually moans in quiet pleasure as his knees buckle and he almost collapses on the ground.
Away from the hands he’s quick to recover, bright red in shame as he buries his face into Banner’s wings. The garnet chortles in rare humor at his handlers show of enjoyment. Finally he was going to finish this mate dance? It was awkward and really beneath him, he figures if he just tugs here nudges there and pushes a bit there that his person would be able to continue on with the pairing ritual properly.
“I uh..” He was flustered and clearly unsure what to say or what to do. He manages to draw himself up tucking his hand under Banners jaw for a moment to try and calm himself down when in reality he’s torn between running and begging to be touched like that again. But at least J’dol had done one thing right. No longer was Kyprioth afraid. His embarrassment made sure of that.
“Dont do that again and don't tell any fairy about that okay? That were a dirty dirty trick and I didn't fink yer were that mean but uh...yes, yor weyr. More Klah, then, eh, guv? Can I bribe yer into forgettin' yer can do that ter my body?” He spoke extremely fast and probably with his accent none of that was really audible to the other rider. He tugs lamely on the other mans hand hoping that he could just make him forget his super secret mind power over his body and just get going again.

As Kyprioth dropped with a low moan, J'dol playful expression turned into one of smug glee. The sound, on it's own, was music to his ears, but combined with the red, flustered expression on Kyprioth's face, J'dol felt like he had stumbled upon a great treasure. He shoved his hands into his pockets, partly to show just how smug he really was feeling, and partly to help hide the effect the noise had on him. Kyp didn't need to see that, not right now anyways. He shook his head, taking a moment to try to decipher the worst of the speech. He caught enough of it to respond, something about it being mean, and a bribe, the weyr and.. fairies? "Now that's a harsh accusation Kyp, all I did was double check what action you wanted me to stop." He was all smiles now, glad at least that the candidate was too preoccupied with his weak spot to freak out about the other things. "Besides," J'dol added, a playful, teasing tone to his voice, "You certainly didn't sound like it was mean. Sounded like you rather enjoyed it to me." With a tilt of his head, J'dol motioned for him to follow, a happy sort of swagger to his step as he began leading the way. Really, this young man was just too entertaining; best search ever. He grinned wider as Kyp started tugging on his hand. Could he be bribed into forgetting? "Not a chance bud. That knowledge is mine now. If it helps at all, I plan on keeping that juicy little secret between just you and me. It wouldn't do for you to make such noises for other people after all." He winked, trying to show that he was just joking around, though he was being completely honest about not sharing that secret. "Alright, we'll head up to the weyr, oh but before I forget, that hallways just down there will lead you to the candidate's barracks, so you may want to explore down there later. Come along then, Ill have Kayath call for refreshments and we can have some Klah and a platter of meatrolls." They weren't far from where the entrance to his room was and J'dol made a note of pointing out various landmarks and locations as they went. All too soon, the entrance to his weyr was before them and J'dol quietly snuck in, careful not to disturb anyone who was inside just yet.Though upon entering the room it seemed there was no one there yet. They will be arriving shortly. A drudge brought the food, it's on the table.
"Well, seems like it's just you and me for a moment. I guess we walk too fast. Help yourself to the food if you're hungry." He stepped over to the pitcher of klah and made quick work of pouring two bugs of the steaming, delicious beverage, before handing one over.
{OOC: Wish, if you want to join in now's the time! If not I'll have a drudge caring for Jarali I guess?}

"No, no......yes, of course.....no, wrong again. No. Yes. Oh please like I would let him do....well no he....yeah.....no....understood."
Alyara sighed as she shook her head, her eyes closing as she whispered something under her breath and looked back at the concerned mother. Thank Faranth this one at least was agreeing to let their child stand. The last one she had had to deal with had upright said no despite the daughter wanting to stay. Well, that was holders for you she supposed. Waving a quick good bye to the mother and young lad who had been searched, Ara walked over to the little bundle of blankets that was her daughter, scooping the child up and cuddling her against her chest.
"You know one day you will be the best there is, right my darling girl?"
The rider's green eyes met those of her daughter's, so alike and yet different as well. Kissing the baby's forehead, Ara kept walking toward the Weyr she shared with her weyrmate, her trio of flits for once missing considering they were napping in the room already. Avirith too had been out on the ledge, and the green picked up her head as she heard J'dol and the newcomer arrive. You have a visitor. The dragoness' voice was meant for her rider alone as she got to her feet and nudged her nose into the room with a curious croon.
"Hello....ummr, J'dol...were we...you want to introduce me perhaps?" Ara looked from her 'mate to the other young man with avid curiosity.

((OOC: Should this thread perhaps be moved to the weyr? Not that it matters just sayin'))
“Yer better keep it ter yorself!! It's bad enough yer just figured it out, and I didn't make a noise at all yor just makin' fings up! Right!” A dramatic sigh finishes his rather hurried response as he follows after the man, quick to drop his hand. He can’t bribe him into ignoring what had happened but perhaps by the look on J’dol’s face he won’t tell anyone anyway. He seems the type to truly enjoy a secret like that for himself. It’s a good thing he doesn’t notice J’dol’s physical reaction or he would have been bound to be twenty dragon lengths away, hiding up the nearest tree shaking in utter fear. That or passed out cold.
He nods his head as he’s told here the barracks were, though if he has any say in the matter he’s going to be outside no matter the weather. He keeps that to himself though, no point in reminding J’dol what he had promised. He wasn’t the type, and plus the weyrlord seemed the type of man to keep to his word. After all he’d been keeping to his perverted word the entire time.
Unable to hide the curiosity he stares around the weyrroom peeking this way and that to see what sort of private life J’dol led. Of course there wasn’t much of anything to tell him super secrets so he only accepted the cup of klah with an embarrassed smile nibbling on a meat roll with the other hand. It would do no good to prove just how famished he was by consuming the thing in two bites. He had manners! He wasn’t just some backwater farmer’s boy.
“Nice place.” He manages to get out before company arrives. He looks up, guiltily finishing off his meat roll before he manages a rather foppish bow that’s saved from being entirely ridiculous if it’s not for the charming look on his handsome face. He’s about to give some speech to the woman, after all she was clearly J’dols weyrmate-when his eyes land on the child and glee just takes over his entire face.
Disgusted Banner hops from his shoulder to curl up on the table sneakily(in reality he just takes it, quite loudly at that) snatching a meat roll to swallow it down without really chewing. The poor boy miscalculates and starts quietly choking hoping no one notices his garnet skin turning darker and darker.
“"Yer must be J'dols weyrmate. I've 'eard a wee about yer! Before 'e say's anyfink 'e's been terrible and 'as been tryin' ter cop a feel ever since 'e searched me. Is that yor daughter? She's beautiful! Could I...could I 'old 'er, isit?I promise I'll be careful, I've been carin' for me nieces and nephews and bruvvers for ages, do wot guvnor! Please, then, eh,? Oh me name is Kyprioth! Struth!" The look on the poor boys face, those large silver eyes glimmering with want as he eyes the baby is absolutely pathetically adorable. He wants nothing more than to hold the little cutie. Kypnap her indeed!

J'dol had every intention to keep his word, but Kyprioth would also learn in time that he needed to know where the barracks were in order to locate his fellow candidates as well as supplies or materials that were stored there. He wouldn't have to be there often, but it was better to know for when he needed to.
"Thanks, sorry there's not much in here." J'dol replied as he pulled off his shirt. Rule one for J'dol; shirts in his own weyr were beyond unnecessary, plus he was tired of wearing the torn thing. He tossed it on his bed, took a sip from his klah, popped a meatroll in his mouth lazily and was about to begin asking Kyprioth what he would need for his crazy little outdoor home when a familiar green nose poked into the room.
"Hey Avirith," he said as he stood, fully expecting Ara wouldn't be too long in getting there, and lo and behold Ara came into the room with an utter look of confusion. "And hello beautiful," He added with a grin, moving to kiss her before cooing down at Jarali, as pleased as could be to see the two favourite women in his life. He was fully planning on introducing his new buddy, but Kyprioth was quick to jump into accusations. Was he trying to get J'dol in trouble? How cruel! He had been so nice to the farmer!
"Trying to cop a feel he says." He gave Ara a playful grin. J'dol tended to get what he wanted in the end. Ara being with him at all was proof of that. "Ara, m'dear , this cutie here is Kyprioth. Kayath picked him up off a farm for candidacy." He figured there was no harm in repeating the man's name, incase Ara missed it in the mumbo jumbo that Kyp liked to spew off which, while sometimes a tad hard to follow, was still way too interesting for J'dol to ignore.
"Oh, Kyp, this is the beautiful, wonderful woman to talk to about sleeping outside. She'll be your candidatemaster." He grinned, completely ignorant of the troubles Banner was having. The garnet didn't go completely unnoticed though, from the shadows nearby slunk a rather strange blue flit. Tipsy approached, sitting nearby and ruffling three wings as he watched the garnet, before chirping in a way that meant 'you might want to tell someone'.
