She had needed time. Time away from the Gather, away from her weyrmate, away from her children, away from the people she once called her own. Sighing, Inali shook her head, her arms pulling the red cloak around her tighter. A bitter ache had started to grow inside her since the day she had found S'vrin with Inoria and Talian. Not only that however, but something more too. She no longer heard Loraketh's voice in her head, and she no longer stuck on her memory.
Instead she was constantly thinking about what was going on in the present, and to tell the truth that wasn't much better. She hated the place she had called home for the past decade. Trelis Weyr and The Island was a prison holding her to an older self, it was a tight grip that left her breathless and aching. Not to mention tired. She needed out, and that thought was one she had not dared say to anyone else besides Ghost.
The green flit as always was wrapped around her neck and shoulders, silent as ever. Upon hearing the little bit of recognition in Hers' mind though, the little female chirped and nuzzled Inali's cheek before staying still once more. "Don't worry, where I go, you go little one." The firelizard trilled, pleased that Hers would keep her with her. The question was where to go. Sighing, Inali let herself walk, away from the Gather, away from all those she desperately needed to be free from.
She found herself walking along the beach in no time, the salty air and warm breeze a reminder of a past life. Not one here though, but before when she had grown up in Ista. A memory of her mother and father playing with her, running from end of the shore to the other with her in the middle, their dragons watching from the crystal waters. Where were they now? What would they think? Those were two questions that plagued Inali's mind, yet could never be answered.

The beach. Dal wandered here so often now. For some reason the crashing of the waves drowned out the Sadness and left a calm peace in their wake. Braymoth's words earlier that day had been an attempt to get a confrontation and to elicit pain from him. He had really wanted to slice that little overgrown flit's throat for some of the things he'd said, but he couldn't do that to yufa.
The provocation had risen feelings he hadn't felt in a while and he needed to clear his head again. He'd set off on his own except for his large ametrine Hisame. She refused to leave him. Where as shigure knew he needed silent time Hisame didn't care. She didn't think hers could be happy without her. Not ever.
When he finally reached the beach he sighed. So much for alone time. But... Wait... Was that...? It was iinali. She'd been as lost if not worse than himself when she lost her loraketh. He debated silently on going back, but... Maybe they could help eachother. People said talking helps heal wounds o the heart. He could only hope they were right. Taking a deep steadying breath he walked out to her.
" Hello Iinali."
