Eiko listened, nodding her head when she thought it would be appropriate. If the rider was looking toward her for any clue as to the proper action, he was entirely wrong. There was no way that she knew what to do. She was young, she hadn't ever even helped to care for a child. Her brother had always cared for her instead....her brother. Nope. Not now. Nimarath snapped at Hers mentally, pulling Eiko from that depressing road. The Obsidian had had to deal with her rider while thinking of Eiko's twin before, and it was not a fun path to go down.
Sighing and taking a moment to compose herself, Eiko finally spoke again. "That sounds good, she surely will get the care and play she needs growing up, not to mention that it is close by for you to see her." That was right, she would have people to care for her and to teach her skills. Surely Eiko was saying the right thing, she hoped at least. "Will you nudge her into the direction of candidacy or keep her from the sands?" The question fell from her lips easier than she thought it would have.
The more it talked it seemed, the easier it became for her to converse properly. The skills that had long avoided and eluded her at the most trying of times were now finding their way to her lips when she didn't even really need them. She could have just walked away, but she hadn't. She could have allowed him to break it off, but again she had not. Maybe it's because I feel he's as uncertain in all of this as I am? Two people, both in positions of power, and yet unwilling to lead as they should... She couldn't help but smile, amused at the similarity.
