Ooma whirled around on the late weyrlings, giving them both a glare. Now her dragonet had to go hungry longer because of the tardy riders?!
Oh! She was livid! "I disagree! Any and every weyrling has total control over their ability to arrive! How dare you be so busy worrying about you when your dragon should be your first thought! A rider can't be frightened by a bit of blood or of gore. Hell, thread brings much worse. And as for your excuses? Thanks for enforcing such disgusting behavior. My dragon and I actually are trying to learn things here, and now we have to be punished."
Her eyes flashed, and her blood smeared she and cheek made the girl look threatening and somewhat deranged... I'm hungry. Hurry back Mine! [/color]
What did the girl think since she was the first woman to Impress a bronze that she could do as she liked? Oh give me a break! So now what? Calibath be tortured by the meal that was not ready?
Ooma was so ready to go off on both girls. How dare they! And to think one had such excuses!! THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR LEAVING DRAGONETS HUNGRY!
"You better take responsibility for your own screw-ups. I will not bow to a bronzerider who makes the entire weyr pay for something they did not do."
Ooma waved her knife savagely before placing it down on the table, rubbing at the drying blood on her cheek with a wrist. Her jaw was set and set was angry. Very very angry.

Vitari gave Ooma a scorching look. Her gaze travelled over the other weyrling, taking in the blood on her face, in particular. "It must be such a delight for you, having no pleasant appearance to maintain, but some of us are not so lucky." Her tone was sweet, almost apologetic, though of course it could do nothing to counter the acidic sarcasm of her words. "And of course my dragon is my highest concern. I just think she deserves to have a rider who does not embarrass her in public." She paused. "Though...I suppose you can't say the same..." She turned her gaze away, dismissing the other weyrling as if she had a right to do so.
As the unpleasant female turned her attention to the new bronzerider, Vitari was torn. Of course, she didn't want to go running in a silly little circle but...you were meant to respect authority. If this little nothing thought she could yell at a kingrider... Of course, the other part of her pointed out, women shouldn't be kingriders. It wasn't proper and thus she wasn't sure the strange pair deserved her respect. She simply remained silent.
Maysceth, however, had spent this time trying to figure out who was outmatched. Which side should she stick up for, if she wanted to be fair? Vitari and the bronze pair had more people mad at them, of course, but...well, Hers was magnificent and surely worth at least five other people in a debate? She gave a little unhappy whine, simply sidling behind her bonded as if that were effective hiding.
