"Look, I'm sorry, okay? But it wasn't just me that took part in this, remember?" K'dri watched with cool eyes as Nymari grabbed the edge of his bed and began pulling herself up. "So it's not entirely my fault you can't walk." Shaking his head, he watched the Weyrling for a few more seconds as she struggled. he was entirely correct: stubborn. Bull-headed. She had pride. He had to respect that.
She sat down next to him, and he sighed. "No. You don't need anyone's help, do you?" He asked, eyes narrowed. "You can save the world and everything else all on your own." She almost reminded him of himself before his spirit had been broken. She had morals and ethics, and she hadn't lost that yet. After doing some "research," he had found that Nymari was a Holdgirl, thus supposed to save herself for marriage. He suddenly felt rather guilty, and looked away from her.
He jumped when she placed a hand on his shoulder. Turning, he looked at her rather uncomfortably. "I can be nice... even when I am stealing kisses," he murmured. Her hand shook against his shoulder, but he made no move to steady it. She'd already punched him once; he didn't want it to happen again.
When her fingers ranged ver his bruises, he winced. "Yes. You... did some other things, too. Your first time with flight lust, you might not remember, but..." Sighing, he slowly explained all that had transpired between the two of them the night before, ending with a shrug of his broad, muscled shoulders. "You seemed to enjoy it. I don't see why you're so scared to enjoy it again." He raised a hand, as if to brush a lock of her hair back from her face, but thought better of it. "I'd be good to you, you know."
